Makoto Yuki's POV

"Ren? What's going on? What is this?"

The moment I pulled out that card, Ren looked like he saw a ghost, which at this point, I might be.

"Did you... read that?"

"Yeah, but what's a Phantom Thief of Hearts?"

"It's nothing, Makoto. Just something I was working on. Please don't show this to anyone."

It's fine, I don't really care anyway.

"Ren, what's going on?"

I guess I care more than I realise.

"Hey guys what are you talking abou-... you told him we're the Phantom Thieves?"

They ARE them?

The other Makoto stares in shock as she looks at the card now in Ren's hands.

"No, I didn't, but you just did."

Nijima's face looks like she's just told the world's biggest secret.

"I guess I'll tell you everything."

"Are you sure?" Makoto asks.

"Yeah, I trust him. In a way I can't explain, it's like we're connected."

I'd be weirded out if I didn't feel the same way. The three of us head inside, and they tell me about their adventures as Phantom Thieves.

Me: "I see, but why was your name Joker?"

Morgana: "Because he's our ace in the hole! He could wield multiple Personas, his power really helped us out during battle."

For some reason that feels awfully familiar.

Me: "The Wild card power?"

I said that without thinking.

Ren just looks at me in shock.

Ren: "How do you know about that? Have you been to the metaverse?"

What's a metaverse?

Futaba: "Hold on, he has to have been there, because he understands Mona!"

It only just occurred to me that I heard a cat speak English.

Me: "Oh yeah, that is weird. Why can a cat talk?"

Morgana: "I am NOT a ca- oh wait I guess I am"

I can't help but laugh.

A voice runs through my head and I start saying what it says before I realise that I'm speaking.

Me: "Only courage in the face of doubt can lead one to the answer. For some reason, I feel like telling you that, Morgana."

That was weird, even for me.

Everyone is just silent after I say that.

Haru: "That's... really poetic, Yuki-kun."

Me: "Thanks, but I don't know why I just said that. In a weird way, you guys remind me of people from my past."

They're like a family. Which I can just feel I've had before.

Yusuke: "Then may I pose a suggestion? How about you hang out with us, like we did for Futaba, maybe it'll help you regain your memory."

I guess I'm open to it.

Makoto: "That's a great idea, Yusuke, but only if you're up to it, Yuki-kun."

Me: "Sure, I don't really mind."

Ann: "That's great! Where would we go?"

Haru: "I know! Let's take him on a tour through the whole city!"

Ryuji: "Ohh that sounds AWSOME! We should go to the Ramen shop in Ogikubo"

Me: "Uh, guys...?"

Yusuke: "Marvelous! I can't wait to take you to the Planetarium in Shinagawa."

Futaba: "I wanna stop at Akihabara!"

Ann: "I can't wait to get to the buffet in Shibuya!"

Me: "Helloooo?"

Makoto: "It would be nice to visit Suidobashi."

Ren whispers in my ear.

"There's no stopping them when they're like this buddy, so just enjoy the ride."

Me: "This seems like a lot to do for a group this big though."

Makoto: "Then let's each take him one place we want to go individually."

Oh but THAT they hear.

Haru: "Wonderful, let's go to Asakusa."

I'm not getting out of this am I?
