Allison was woken by a dull, throbbing pain in her head. The room was dim, but the sunlight filtering through the window made her squint. As she stirred, she noticed Jordan standing beside the bed, a glass of water in his hand. He looked down at her with a mix of amusement and sympathy.

"Your head hurts, right?" Jordan asked, watching her massage her temple.

Allison groaned softly, her voice tinged with discomfort. "Yes, it does."

"Mine did too," he admitted, holding out the glass of water. He picked up a small box of ibuprofen from the nightstand and offered her one.

Allison took the pill gratefully, swallowing it down with a sip of water. "Thanks. I don't remember the last time I drank this much."

Jordan chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, me neither."

As she glanced around, realization hit her that she was in bed with Jordan beside her the whole night. She gestured at the bed, curiosity creeping in. "Did we...?"

Jordan smiled gently, shaking his head. "No. You don't remember?"

Allison furrowed her brow, trying to piece together the foggy memories. "I remember getting here, then nothing."

"That's because you fell asleep almost immediately," Jordan said, his tone light but affectionate.

Allison groaned, flopping back onto the pillows. "What time is it?"

Jordan checked his phone. "About 9 a.m."

Her eyes widened in panic. "Damn it, I'm late!" She scrambled out of bed, hurriedly slipping on her shoes and grabbing her phone. "I promised Kie's parents I'd help at the restaurant today!"

Jordan watched her, amused but also a little concerned. "Kie's still sleeping in the other room. Maybe you should take the day off, and stay a little longer."

Allison laughed, shaking her head as she waved her phone at him. "Five missed calls from Anna. I don't think taking the day off is an option." She moved closer, a playful glint in her eyes. "You owe me, by the way."

Jordan raised an eyebrow, confused. "What?"

"You owe me an orgasm," she whispered, her gaze locking with his.

Jordan's eyes widened, and he smirked, his playful side returning. "Oh, that."

Allison nodded, biting her lip. "Mhm. That."

Jordan grinned, stepping closer and pulling her gently toward him. "Well, I can give you one right now if you don't leave."

Allison shook her head, but she couldn't help but smile. "Not when my sister is in the other room."

Jordan laughed softly, teasing, "Now you're worried about your sister hearing, but last night you didn't care if people saw?"

She smirked, shrugging. "I was drunk."

Jordan nodded in mock understanding. "Right."

Allison leaned in, giving him a quick kiss before stepping back. "I really have to go now."

Jordan kissed her forehead, his voice soft. "Okay, I'll see you later."

"Wow, you're so sweet," Allison teased with a smile as she headed for the door. Jordan followed her with his eyes, the smile lingering on his face as she left the room.

Before she exited the house, Allison checked on Kie, who was still fast asleep. Without disturbing her, Allison slipped out of John B's house and headed home, rushing through a quick shower before heading to work, bracing herself for the questions she knew would come.

Fortunately, the work at the restaurant wasn't too intense. They were mainly cleaning up from the storm, and Allison managed to finish early. Once she got home, she checked her phone and saw a message from an unknown number: "Wanna go to the beach and surf if you're into that? It's Jordan, btw."

Amused, Allison called the number back. Jordan picked up immediately.

"How'd you get my number?" she asked with a laugh.

"Kie gave it to me after you forgot," Jordan replied, his tone teasing. "Should I not have asked for it?"

"No, no, I'm glad you did," Allison replied, smiling. "I just wasn't expecting it."

"Good. So, you wanna go surfing if you're done with work?" Jordan asked.

"I am, and I do love surfing," Allison told him, glancing around. "Just need to find a board."

"Perfect. I'll come pick you up while you look for it," Jordan said.

"I'll be waiting," Allison replied before ending the call.

Fifteen minutes later, Jordan arrived at her house. Seeing the open garage, he found her holding a surfboard, and they exchanged a long hug. Jordan grabbed her board, carrying it to his car while Allison followed, feeling the light buzz of excitement.

Jordan drove them to a secluded beach, hidden from the usual crowds. The gentle sound of the ocean waves was calming, and the sun was warm on their skin as they set up their belongings. After strapping the leashes to their ankles, they waded into the water, the cool waves brushing against them as they paddled out.

For the next hour, they caught wave after wave, each ride exhilarating. They wiped out a few times, laughing and splashing each other, the energy between them playful and light. By the time they headed back to shore, tired but content, Jordan pulled out snacks from his backpack.

"I was just about to say I'm starving," Allison said, sitting down on the towel.

"I came prepared," Jordan replied with a grin, tossing her a water bottle.

Allison's lips curved into a smile as she took a sip, glancing out at the ocean. "This place is beautiful."

"Yeah," Jordan agreed, settling next to her. "John B and I found it a few months ago. Now it's my favorite spot."

Allison looked over at him, a teasing glint in her eyes. "Do you bring all the girls here?"

Jordan laughed, shaking his head. "Only you."

Allison raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. "If I had a coin for every time I heard that..."

"You'd be even more of a kook than you already are?" Jordan finished with a smirk.

Allison laughed, nudging him playfully. "Exactly."

Jordan's expression softened as he turned to face her fully. "No, I'm serious. You're the first one."

Allison smiled, feeling a little flutter in her chest. "I'm flattered."

"You should be," Jordan said, his tone sincere.

After a moment of comfortable silence, Allison shifted slightly, her gaze meeting his. "I should tell you something."

Jordan's brow furrowed slightly in curiosity. "What's that?"

"I like you," Allison started, "but I'm not looking for a relationship."

Jordan nodded thoughtfully, his gaze steady. "What do you want then?"

Allison smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "We can hook up if you're interested, but nothing serious."

Jordan chuckled. "Well, we've already kinda done that."

"True," Allison said, grinning. "And we can do it again."

Jordan's eyes twinkled. "I'd definitely like that."

Allison's smile widened as she teased, "Did you bring any alcohol?"

Jordan shook his head, laughing. "If you'd told me, I would've. Guess we'll have to make do without."

Allison pouted playfully. "Too bad. Everything's more fun with alcohol."

"We can still make it fun," Jordan said, his voice low as he shifted behind her, pulling her small frame against his chest.

He began placing soft kisses along her shoulder and neck, each one sending shivers down her spine. Allison leaned into his touch, a satisfied smile tugging at her lips.

"Indeed we can," she whispered, her heart racing in anticipation.
