Whenever i sit to write the story, random problems kept popping up and needed to take care of them. I hope i will make up the lost time with this chapter. Chapter 3
A few hours later
Naruto had been walking through the desert for quite a while and still couldn't find any land with grasses. No matter where he looks or how far he looks, all he can see is sand. The scorching heat of the sunlight is raining down upon the entire desert, making it like he just came in hell. He dragged his legs through the scorching sand while leaving a long trail behind. His hands are dangling from his shoulder while he leans forward in exhaustion. "GRRRRRRR!" Suddenly, his stomach started to make noises since he hadn't eaten anything for three to four days straight and is now feeling very hungry.
Naruto rubbed his stomach with an exhausted look on his face. "Damn it, just how big is this stupid desert?" Naruto asked himself in frustration, before his stomach growled even louder. "Ah, you stupid stomach, just stop making noises already. We can't have anything to eat until we find a suitable land with edible animals to hunt. Until then, just shut up." Naruto said to his stomach with an annoyed expression on his face, but his stomach only growled even louder as if it was denying naruto's plan for hunting edible animals and just eat whatever he can find.
His stomach growled twice, as if it was saying something to naruto. "GRRRRR, GRRRRR!" Naruto looked at his stomach with an incredulous look on his face. "You're asking me why haven't i just eaten the centipede to calm you down?" Naruto asked with a disbelief look on his face.
His stomach growled only once, as if it was saying yes. "GRRRRR!" Naruto stopped walking and looked at his stomach with a sweat drop, before he looked up at the sky with an imaginary bubble forming at the top of his head. Inside the imaginary bubble, he imagined eating a portion of the centipede with its goo sticking on his mouth and tongue. The imaginary naruto chewed on the centipede, before he looked at us with a wide toothy grin on his face.
Naruto's face got green in disgust at imagining this scenario. He could almost feel the shitty taste of the gooey substance in his mouth. The thought of eating the centipede with it's gooey substance made him want to empty his gut, even though it's already empty.
Quickly shaking off the disgusting imagination, naruto gave a sigh of frustration at still not being able to see any land with grasses. So he ignored his stomach and walked off in the same direction.
One hour later. Nothing. Two hours later. Still nothing. Three hours later. Still nothing. Four hours later. "Arg, why the hell is it so hard to find a nice grassland." Naruto said through gritted teeth, huffing and puffing in exhaustion. He is still dragging his legs through the sand while looking around the desert to find any hints of dirt mixed with sand. But he still couldn't find anything like that and all he could see was sand and a small cliff.
Naruto ignored the cliff and was about to move forward, but he then noticed that the sun was about to set. "Sighing in exhaustion, naruto looked at the cliff and pondered over, if he should continue his search or he should take some rest.
"GRRRRRRR!" Naruto gave a defeated sigh when his stomach growled even harder. He cannot drag his legs anymore with this empty stomach.
Making up his mind, he decided to take some rest before he starts his journey to find a grassland once again.
He slowly dragged his legs to the small cliff and soon dropped on his ass while pressing his back towards the cliff. He then stared at the beautiful setting horizon with a soft smile on his face. "It's all finally over." Naruto muttered to himself with a soft tone, thinking back at all the crazy stuff that happened during the fourth great war.
Slowly, the horizon has vanished and was replaced by the dark night sky with trillions of stars appearing through the darkness. Strangely, this place wherever he is, doesn't have a moon. Naruto's soft smile soon turned into a frown when he remembered the last thing before getting unconscious. The moon. The blazing moon approaching the world for its destruction.
Unknown to naruto, a small stream of tears flew down from his eyes, silently mourning for his fallen comrades and the entire people of his world. He clinched his fist in frustration, drawing out blood.
Suddenly, he took some very deep breath through his nostrils and looked at the sky with a furious expression on his face, tears still flowing down from his cheeks. Then without any warning, he shouted at the sky with all his might.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" His scream of sorrow echoed through the entire desert, startling every one of the animals of this place. He shouted so loud that even the heavens shook at his might.
After the intense scream of sorrow, naruto couldn't hold any longer and finally broke down into tears. His family, his friends, his comrades, everyone, his entire world, is gone. No one is coming back. They all are gone.
Naruto sat on the ground while looking down in grief. He has finally stopped crying and just stared at the ground with an emotionless expression on his face. He has finally accepted what happened and there wasn't anything he could have done. So he decided to live on, not for his sake but for the people's sake. He will live on for the sake of humanity. He will live on, as the last shinobi of the world.
Slowly wiping his tears, naruto closed his eyes and fell into a deep slumber, completely exhausted, mentally and physically.
Unknown to naruto, the strange diamond shaped symbol on his right palm started to glow bright orange before it turned back to normal.
Next day
The rising sunlight of the scorching sun hit naruto's face, causing him to wake up groggily. "Arg, stupid sun. Get the hell out of my face before i throw a rasen-shuriken at you." Naruto said to no one but to himself, since the sun can't talk for obvious reasons.
Groaning in annoyance, naruto rubbed his eyes to get rid of the sleepiness and slowly opened them, only to shut them again when the sunlight nearly blinded his vision.
A few minutes later, he opened his eyes once again but this time more slowly. Blinking his eyes several times, he adjusts his vision to his current surroundings and looks around the desert with a heavy sigh. "Ah, damn it. I wish i could at least fly to find a grassland. But without the furball's chakra, i can't use the six paths power to fly in the air. What can i do?" Naruto thought to himself, trying to figure out how he could fly to at least get out of this desert where it already started to get hot.
After wracking his brain to figure out a solution, something finally clicked in his mind when he looked down at the sand. "The sand, of course! I remember how gaara used his sand to fly in the air. Maybe i can do something similar as well." Naruto thought in excitement, only for it to get crushed when he remembered that he can't use shukaku's chakra to manipulate the sand for some reason.
Ever since he sealed all the tailed beasts inside himself, they suddenly stopped talking for some reason.
Naruto gave a sigh of exasperation when he realized that he can't use shukaku's chakra for some reason. He then looked at his hands in deep thought, only to notice something strange on his right palm.
Naruto narrowed his eyes in concentration and looked at a diamond shaped symbol at the top of his sun shaped symbol. He was about to think further about this strange symbol, but suddenly, his stomach released an animalistic growl which almost freaked all the animals in the desert.
Naruto's eyes were twitching while is face formed an annoyed expression. He slowly looked at his stomach and gave a sigh of annoyance. He then rubbed his stomach and groaned in hunger. "Damn it, i need food." He then looked at his hands again and thought with a serious expression on his face. "Kurama once told me that the six paths chakra is very unique. It has powers that even super gramps sage couldn't discover." He then clinched his fist in determination. "If that's true, then i will surpass the sage of the six paths. Yes, from now on, that will be my goal. I will surpass the sage of the six paths and discover these powers." He thought to himself with fierce determination burning in his eyes.
He then looked around his surroundings and gave a smirk. "Alright. It's time to put the clones to work." Naruto thought to himself while cracking his knuckles with a grin. He then put his two fingers together in a cross hand seal and shouted. "Multi shadow clone jutsu!" Suddenly with a puff of smoke, dozens of shadow clones have appeared around the surroundings.
Naruto's grin widened in excitement when he managed to summon at least a hundred clones. But his grin soon vanished and formed a gaping expression on his face when he saw all of his clones laid on the ground quite pathetically. Some of them were lying on the ground with twitching limbs, some of them kneeled on the ground while holding their stomachs in hunger, while some others kneeled against each other for support. It was quite bizarre.
Naruto looked at his clones with a disbelief look on his face. "W-what? What happened to you guys?" Naruto asked his clones who only gave him a glare. "Are you stupid? We are you and whatever you're feeling or your condition is, we will have the same problems since we are your clones." One of the naruto's clones said with a deadpan expression on his face, while giving the original a hard glare.
The original naruto rubbed his forehead with a frustrated sigh, before he looked at his clones with a serious expression on his face. "Anyway, we need to ignore our stomachs for now and have to come up with something that will help us to get out of this desert." The original said with a serious tone.
All the clones started to think about what the original just said and pondered about the possibilities. Suddenly, something clicked in one of the clones mind and smacked his left palm with his right fist with a grin on his face. "I got it!" The clone exclaimed, catching everyone's attention. "The six paths power. We can just use the six paths power to fly in the air without using kurama's chakra or senjutsu chakra."
Silence. It was all silence before one of the clones gave the clone a deadpan expression. "Oh yeah? And how are we supposed to do that exactly?" The clone asked the other clone.
The clone who suggested this, looked down in deep thought before he came up with something. "Why don't we meditate while drawing out our chakra to see what we can do."
The original looked at the clone with a thoughtful expression. "You know, that might work. Let's all meditate and see what we can find." The original ordered his clones, which all the clones nodded before doing what the original has told them to do.
Few hours later
The clones have concentrated a lot of chakra through their body and still couldn't find a way to use the six paths power without kurama's chakra or senjutsu chakra.
Suddenly, one of the clones started to levitate in the air without even knowing himself and kept rising in the air. One of the other clones slightly opened one of his eyes and noticed that one of the clones is missing. Blinking his eyes in surprise, the clone started to look around for the missing clone and looked up, only to gape in shock when he noticed that the missing clone is levitating in the air. "Whoa, look he is actually levitating." The clone exclaimed, catching other clones and the original's attention. When they looked at the clone, they all started to gape in shock.
The levitating clone wasn't aware of the attention that he was getting from the others and kept focusing on his chakra. Suddenly, he got tired of sitting in one position and decided to stand up, only to realize that he was not sitting on the ground but in the air. Before the clone could comment about it, he started to fall towards the ground while frantically waving his hands and legs in the air.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Thud! Pop!"
The clone fell on the ground with a thud, causing sand and smoke to erupt. Silence, it was all silence before every one of them blinked their eyes at receiving the information and grinned. "So that's how he did it." One of the clones exclaimed, before the original narrowed his eyes with a smirk. "Hey, all of you, i think i have figured out how he did it. Focus on the six paths yang chakra and see what happens." The original ordered his clones, which all yelled out, "Yes boss!" Before all took a meditative stance and focused on the six paths yang chakra.
A few minutes later
Many of the clones started to levitate In the air, causing the other clones to protest. The original simply ignored their protest and told the levitating clones to dispel, causing the other clones and the original to receive the information.
A few more minutes later
Everyone, including naruto is now levitating in the air. They have been trying to use the six paths yang chakra to make them levitate and have been successful. All the clones cheered in excitement before all have dispelled at once, giving naruto the experiences they have got.
When naruto got the experiences from the clones, he blinked his eyes in surprise. "Huh? Wait, so many clones were dispelled at once and i'm still awake? But how?" Naruto thought to himself in wonder, before he slowly landed on the ground in a meditative stance and put his fingers on his chin in thought. "Maybe it's my regenerative ability that's helping my brain to recover or whatever. Anyway, now it dosen't really matter. I have somewhat understood this power but there are more powers to find and understand." He then clinched his fist in determination, before his stomach gave another animalistic growl.
Naruto face palmed at his stomach for growling like a hungry predator. It's like his stomach is being impatient and wanting food as fast as possible. "Be more patient you damn stomach! I haven't even learned how to properly fly yet!" Naruto exclaimed in frustration, before he quickly calmed himself down and formed a familiar cross hand seal and shouted. "Multi shadow clone jutsu!" With a huge puff of smoke, dozens more clones appeared in the desert and surrounded naruto from many sides. "Listen, all of you. You already know what to do, right?" Everyone responded. "Yeah boss!" Naruto gave them a nod. "Alright then, go and train your asses off until you all learn how to fly, like actually fly and not just levitate, do i hear you clear!"
"Yes boss!" All the clones exclaimed, before they spread around the desert and started to train to fly with the six paths yang chakra.
Naruto watched all his clones training from the small cliff and decided to take a seat and observe. Some of the clones kept falling on the ground and dispels with a puff of smoke, some of them kept crashing on the small cliff while trying to fly forward, while some others kept crashing into each other while keeping coming in each other's way.
An hour later
Most of the clones have already dispelled and only a few clones were left, who are now flying in the sky with a joyful expression on their faces. They were twisting, turning, zigzagging, and doing many other stunts in the air. Two of them even decided to clash against each other with a rasengan in the air, which caused a small shockwave that repelled both of them on the ground.
The original, after watching his clones properly managed to fly in the air, decided to dispel the rest of the clones, giving him their knowledge and experiences of using the six paths yang chakra to fly in the air.
Blinking his eyes, he gave a small grin in excitement before he quickly stood up and jumped really high in the air, before he focused on the six paths yang chakra and closed his eyes in anticipation.
Nothing happened
When he realized that he was not falling on the ground, he curiously opened one of his eyes and saw he was levitating in the air.
Blinking his eyes in surprise, he looked down to see if he was standing in any sort of platform or not. When he saw that he wasn't standing in any platform and he was indeed standing in the air, he grinned widely in excitement before without any warning, he sped out in a random direction with a joyful laughter echoing through the entire desert. "Hahahahahahahaha! Finally, i'm about to get out of this stupid desert and find something to eat!" Naruto exclaimed in excitement, before he completely disappeared from a distance with his distorted laughter echoed through the entire desert.
Naruto is laughing in joy while flying in the air at a super sonic speed, passing through many mountains and terrains which looked very beautiful from above. Suddenly, naruto noticed a deep canyon where there are a lot of greeneries like small plants and moss growing at the side of the canyon. Grinning with endless excitement, he quickly dived inside the canyon and went straightforward, following the small trails of the moss and grass that led him to an opening through the canyon.
Quickly increasing his speed, he soon got out of the other side of the canyon and widened his eyes in shock at what he saw on the other side.
On the other side of the canyon, there's a vast open field that might rival the entire hidden leaf village in size. In the field, there are very strange trees with it's branches grew upwards which look like a giant mushroom but with leaves covering the top. Not only that but the tree's trunk looks very wide with different sizes.
The entire field is also surrounded by mountains and vertical red cliffs with lush greens and many unknown beautiful flowers.
To the other people, it would seem to be only a beautiful place to visit, but to naruto, calling this place beautiful will not do justice. To him, it looks no less than a paradise. The place looked so peaceful that naruto couldn't help but be drawn into it. Softly landing on the ground, naruto slowly walked towards the center of the field while looking around the surroundings with glistening eyes. In the field, there wasn't any forest but there were still a lot of those strange trees located a bit further from each other. After passing through the trees, naruto took a shaky breath at seeing the center of the field which was covered by lushes greenery and some unknown but beautiful flowers. He also noticed the entire field was surrounded by tall vertical red cliffs with some trees also growing at the top.
Naruto didn't move from the spot and kept looking at the surroundings with a peaceful expression on his face. He took a deep breath before releasing it, and closed his eyes with a peaceful smile on his face. After a few minutes later, he opened them again with a sad smile on his face, remembering how his former master searched for peace like this. "Pervy sage. Is this the peace that you were looking for? No conflict, no life and death battle, no war, nothing. Only you, surrounded by the peaceful nature and leave all the stress behind and think nothing for once." Naruto thought to himself with glistening eyes, trying his best to hold his tears.
He then shook his head and looked at the sky with determination. "No naruto, don't you dare cry again. You are the last shinobi, and the one and only survivor of your world. Be strong, and survive for the sake of your people." Naruto told himself strongly, strengthening his almost broken will once again. A will, that will not be broken so easily ever again. A will, that burns like a raging inferno. A will, that he inherited from his people. And that is.
"The will of fire!"
"GRRRRRRRR!" Naruto's determined smile soon turned into a frown. "Damn it, there are no animals to hunt, and there are also no trees with fruits." He thought to himself with a frustrated sigh, before he used the familiar cross hand seal and shouted. "Shadow clone jutsu!" With a puff of smoke, a single shadow clone appeared in front of naruto and held his stomach in hunger. "Boss, i'm feeling very hungry. I can barely move." The clone whined in exhaustion. Naruto, for the first time, looked at his clone with pity. He knows better than anyone how his clone is currently feeling. After all, it's none other than himself.
Naruto gave his clone a pad on the back with a sympathetic look. "I know my dear clone, i know. After all, you are me and i am the only one who can understand how you're feeling." Then out of nowhere, a waterfall of manly tears started to fall from naruto's eyes when he looked at his clone with sympathy. "But my dear clone, we are shinobi and that's what we were born for, to endure pain. This hunger is nothing compared to what we have been through. So let's sit together and..." Before naruto could finish his sentence, he was cut off by his clone. "No boss! We are not gonna endure this one hell of a hunger. No, we will not endure, we will conquer this hunger, together!" The clone exclaimed with his own manly tears falling from his eyes.
The clone then jumped really high in the air before he sped out in a random direction to find something to eat. Unknown to the poor clone, naruto was smiling devilishly behind his back, before he burst out into a maniacal laughter. "Huuhahahahaha! I have finally mastered one of kakashi sensei's powerful jutsu. The sweet talk no jutsu! Hahahahahaha." Naruto said while laughing like crazy when he managed to sweet talk his own clone.
An hour later
Naruto made a small campfire using some stones and the branches from one of the strange trees. He is currently standing beside the campfire while waiting for his clone to bring something to put on the campfire and eat. He has been waiting for half an hour after finishing the campfire and there's still no sign of his clone coming with anything to eat.
"Ah, why the hell is that clone taking so long? He should be here by now." Naruto thought to himself with irritation and was about to go himself to find something to eat, but suddenly he noticed his clone coming from a distance while holding something big at the top of his head. He squinted his eyes and tried to focus on the big thing that his clone was bringing. But thanks to the setting sunlight behind the clone, he couldn't see properly what he brought. So he decided to take a seat on the ground and wait patiently for the clone to come.
When the clone entered the field with something big at the top of his head, naruto noticed what his clone just brought and looked at it with an incredulous look on his face. "What the heck is that?" Naruto asked while pointing his finger at the thing that his clone just brought.
The clone looked at naruto with a confused expression, before he looked up at the thing that he just brought. It's a reptile with a long narrow body and tough scaly skin which looks like armor. It has a long snout with sharp teeth and its eyes and nostrils are at the top of its head. It also has four short legs with a long scaly tail on its back.
"Um, i don't know but it looks pretty edible to me." The clone said to naruto while poking the stomach of the now dead unknown animal with a kunai pierced on the center of its head.
Naruto looked at his clone with a sweat drop, before he looked at the animal with a thoughtful expression on his face. "Well... It does look something like it would have meat. I guess we have to start cutting its limbs to find out." Naruto said before he told his clone to put it on the ground.
The clone did what the original has said and was about to cut its limbs with the same kunai that was pierced on its head, but suddenly, the clone felt a burning sensation on its chest. He slowly looked down and saw a kunai pierced at the center of his chest. Getting horrified, the clone looked at naruto, only to see him looking away in another direction while whistling innocently. The clone dramatically looked at his creator with a betrayed look on his face, before he disappeared with a puff of smoke.
When the clone disappeared, he cautiously looked around to see if he accidentally summoned any other clones. When he noticed no one, a cheeky grin formed on his face when he looked at the hunted animal in hunger. "Yummm, now i can keep all the food to myself." Naruto thought to himself with a small giggle, while licking his lips and rubbing his two hands together excitedly.
Without any warning, naruto lunged towards the animal with a kunai on his hand and started to peel off its skin to cut off its limbs and ribs to extract the meat. After that, he stuck the pieces of meat into many sticks, before he planted the sticks diagonally around the campfire to cook it up. Now all he needs is to start burning the campfire and wait for the meat to cook up.
In the land of fire, every shinobi always has to learn how to use a small amount of fire chakra to start a campfire in case the shinobi is doing a solo mission and had to take some rest. And kakashi made sure that naruto and sakura knows that, so they could start their own campfire if needed.
So forming a tiger hand seal, naruto inhaled some air through his nostrils and blew a small amount of fire at the center of the camp, starting burning the campfire to cook up some of those meats. It's a good thing that he knows how to wait patiently, or else he would have already eaten the meat without even cooking it just to satisfy his hunger.
Naruto patiently sat on the ground while swaying back and fourth in excitement. "Yes, yes... Man, now i can finally eat something." Naruto said with an excited tone while humming a random tune to pass some time.
While he was humming, he started to remember all the tragic events that happened during the war. He stopped whatever he was doing and looked down with a sorrowful expression on his face. He then looked around and noticed that his surroundings were getting darker while the sky got a mixture of orange and red. He then looked in the direction where most of the light was coming from beside the light from his campfire, and went towards the bright light which was apparently coming from the other side of the canyon. But before he started to fly, he smelled one of the pieces of meat that was finally cooked and took out the stick from the ground, before he flew towards the other side of the canyon to see the light which was apparently the sun setting down the horizon.
When he got to the top, he was absolutely speechless. His eyes were as wide as a dinner plate while his mouth was slightly opened in amazement. The sunset in front of him was absolutely beautiful. But the sunset itself wasn't the only reason for his reaction, it was the surroundings mixed with small mountains, cliffs, and big rocks combined with the setting horizon which made it extremely beautiful, which was the reason for his reaction.
Naruto slowly walked towards a cliff and sat on the edge, while silently watching the horizon in amazement. He then quietly ate the meat on his hand, while not leaving his gaze from the beautiful horizon. He eventually finished eating the meat and is now staring at the night star filled sky with a sad look on his face. He just couldn't help but feel guilty for being the only one to escape the destruction. Even though he swore to himself that he would never cry again, it doesn't mean that he won't feel sad or guilty for his fallen comrades.
Naruto didn't move from his spot and stayed the way he was, watching the stars for the entire night until the sunrise.
The sun started to rise from behind, Illuminating the entire desert with its bright light. The sky turns blue, while the scorching heat of the sun starts to rise once again. Naruto didn't move from the spot until the sun fully came up and fully brightened the entire desert. Naruto stared at the morning sky with an emotionless expression, before he looked down and closed his eyes, and released a small breath through his nose.
He then stood up and was about to do his morning routine, but soon realized that there was no water for him to use. Sighing, he decided to ignore his morning routine for now, and simply grabbed the fabric of his oversized clothes with a thoughtful expression on his face. He then cut his finger to draw out some blood, and made a line on his left hand before he channeled some chakra by putting his two fingers together at the top of the line. With a puff of smoke, a small pouch of equipment appeared at naruto's hand.
Inside the pouch, there are equipments that every shinobis should always keep with them all the time. Some medical equipment, and as such as stitching equipment. Medical equipment is needed to treat injuries that have been gotten through a battle. Just like medical equipment, stitching equipment is also important to stitch deep gashes that might have been gotten through a battle as well.
But this time, naruto has another purpose for using this equipment. He will try to sew and stitch his oversized clothes to make it into his current size, so he can properly move while wearing them.
But he was failing to stitch properly since it was his first time doing this and messed up many times. But he didn't give up, and after trying for hours, he finally managed to shorten his clothes but with many stitches and threads coming out of them. Naruto's eyes twitched in irritation when he looked down at himself and saw many threads coming out of the clothes. "Damn it, no matter how much i try, these threads just won't stop coming out without ruining the stitches." Naruto thought to himself with a sigh, now wearing a smaller version of his orange pants with his orange black jumpsuit. Unfortunately for his ninja sandals, he cannot make it smaller. So he sealed it inside the storage seal on his left hand to use it later in the future.
Naruto is currently checking through the storage seal on his both hands to see how much supplies he has left. But suddenly between checking, he noticed something odd inside his right storage seal. So with curiosity, he decided to investigate and see what this is.
Unknown to naruto, it was another storage seal that was given by jiraiya when he was on a three year training trip. Inside the seal, jiraiya has stored some very important scrolls for naruto to read if he find this out one day.
Naruto is no way near a seal master, but jiraiya has taught him some things or two about the sealing arts. So it didn't take that long for him to figure out that this is a storage seal. But there's something different about this seal. It's not a blood seal, rather, it's a seal with a secret password. Naruto narrowed his eyes in suspicion when he deduced that this is not a blood seal. "Did pervy sage gave me this seal? But why? What could be inside?" Naruto thought to himself in wonder, before he started to think what could be the password with a thoughtful expression on his face. "Hm, now it's obvious that this is not a blood seal and can only be opened with a password. But what kind of password does that pervert of an old man came up with?" Naruto thought to himself in wonder, before something clicked in his mind and he hit his right fist with his left palm in realization. "Wait, i know, it's the great toad sage!" Naruto exclaimed with a wide grin, expecting for something to pop out of the seal, only for nothing to come out.
Naruto looked at his right hand in disbelief while scratching the back of his head in confusion. "Huh, i thought this would be the password." Naruto said to himself in confusion, before he formed a determined expression on his face.
He then started to use multiple words and hints from his time with jiraiya to open the seal, but nothing was working. "Super pervert, legendary sannin, the best legendary sannin, super awesome ninja, tsunade, size 1 0 6!" Naruto's cheeks got red in embarrassment, before he vigorously shook his head and glared at his right hand in frustration. "Damn that stupid old pervert. What the heck did he just put?" Naruto said while furiously scratching his head in frustration.
He then started to think really hard and tried to remember if jiraiya gave him any hints or something about the password.
Flashback
Naruto and jiraiya are sitting in a random restaurant which sells ramen outside the hidden leaf. Naruto is currently eating a bowl of ramen with jiraiya looking at naruto with a gaping mouth and a paled expression on his face. The rest of the random customers, including the chef are looking at naruto with a green face and a disgusted expression on their faces.
Now you're wondering, why is everyone reacting like this. He is just eating a bowl of ramen, right? Well, it's true he is eating a bowl of ramen, but... after finishing not one, not two, but twenty nine bowls of ramen, he is eating his thirty bowl and finished it in less than three minutes.
After drinking the broth, he gave a satisfied sigh before putting it on the mountain of other bowls. He then looked back at the chef and called out. "Hey old man, another bowl of ramen please!" After hearing that, all the customers couldn't hold any longer and ran outside the restaurant before emptying their guts with a pale face. The chef's jaw dropped while jiraiya's face got even more paler if it was possible. And before naruto could order more stuff, he was bonked hard on the head by jiraiya who was looking at him with a comical angered expression on his face. "You brat, stop eating already! Who do you think are gonna pay for all your ramen, huh?" Jiraiya shouted with a comical look on his face.
Slowly, a huge bump formed on his head which soon started to throb in pain. Now it's time for naruto to look at jiraiya with a comical angered expression on his face. "What's your problem you perverted old man! You said it yourself that i can eat how much i want. Why the hell are you complaining now?"
Jiraiya glared at naruto who glared at him back. "Shut up you ramen obsessed brat! I told you you can eat how much you want, but it dosen't mean that you should eat this much! Five or ten maybe alright, but thirty? Where the hell do you even put all that food! There's no way in hell you can fit all that in one single stomach!" Jiraiya said with a mixture of anger and disbelief.
Naruto crossed his arms in front of his chest before he looked at jiraiya with a scowl. "I don't care, a promise is a promise and you said i could eat how much I wanted and so i ate. Now stop complaining and let me eat more, i'm not full yet." When all the customers heard his last words, they quickly went outside and emptied their guts once again even though it was already empty. And this time, the chef also joined them in emptying his gut.
Jiraiya smacked his head on the table while a waterfall of comical tears fell from his eyes. "You stupid ramen obsessed brat. Why did i even agree with this!" Jiraiya cried out in despair, which the chef gave him a pat on the back with a sympathetic look on his face.
Flashback end
Naruto's eye twitched in annoyance when he realized what kind of password jiraiya has encoded into this seal. He looked at his hand and spoke up. "Ramen obsessed brat." Naruto said while looking at his right hand in anticipation.
Suddenly with a puff of smoke, something huge and heavy pressed on to his right hand and was about to drop on the ground, but he quickly caught it using his left hand with a comical expression on his face. "Ah, what the heck is this!" Naruto shouted in surprise, before he took a look at the huge item on his hand and widened his eyes in surprise. It's a giant scroll with red flames drawn on the edges. With the giant scroll, two more scrolls appeared with one of them being small while the other one is half the size of the giant scroll. "Whoa, these two are huge. I wonder what's written inside of them" Naruto thought to himself with curiosity, before he gently put the scrolls on the ground and looked up, only to see the sun at the middle of the day.
At that moment, his stomach growled for food, which this time naruto happily obliged since there are some leftovers from the last night and it seems that they are pretty much edible. So he ate the leftovers and quickly took a seat on the ground with the small scroll on his hand. He decided to go with the smallest to the largest one at a time since the smallest one can be finished quickly.
Naruto looked at the small scroll in anticipation, wondering what might be written inside this scroll. So closing his eyes, he quickly opened the scroll and slowly opened one of his eyes to take a peak at what was written. When he read the first few sentences, he realized that this is a message from jiraiya. So without wasting any more time, he quickly started to read the scroll and see what jiraiya have to say. "Hey brat, how is it going? I hope you didn't die virgin and didn't experience the true beauty of a woman's body, hehehehehe. Ah, touching those wonderful big breasts and wonderful round ass, the best thing that every man wishes to do at least once in their life. Too sad i never get to experience sex in my life, but at least i have experienced touching those wonderful big mounts of flesh. I am glad that people came up with brothels, so virgins like us can experience the wonder of a woman's body. Those people were genius." Naruto couldn't help but shake his head in amusement. "Pervy sage will always be pervy sage no matter what." Naruto said to himself with a chuckle, before continuing reading the scroll.
"Anyway, it's kinda pointless to talk to you about a woman's body since you're too oblivious to understand. God, i hope you mature soon and experience the true beauty of a woman's body before you die a virgin." Naruto grew a vein on his forehead at reading the next sentences. "That stupid perverted old geezer. Who does he think he is, judging my lack of perverseness to obliviousness." Naruto said to himself in annoyance, before continuing reading once more. "Hey, naruto. If you're reading this, then it means i am dead and you have figured out the password for opening this seal. There's something i wanted to tell you for so long, but i couldn't... Or more like, i didn't had the guts to tell it to you." Naruto narrowed his eyes in suspicion, before continuing reading. "The thing i wanted to tell you is that, i am your godfather." Now naruto is shocked. He knew that jiraiya trained his father and knew his mother in the past. But he never guessed that jiraiya is actually way closer to his parents than he lets on. Close enough for jiraiya to become his godfather. Naruto's shocked look soon turned into a serious expression. He is not a kid anymore who will lash out at hearing that he had a godfather, a family after all this time and still had to go through a horrible childhood. He knows very well that jiraiya might have had a reason for not being there for him. So he patiently waited and continued.
"Now hold on, hear me out before you get angry at me, alright kiddo? I know you are very angry after hearing this and for not being there for you during your childhood. But i couldn't be there for you because of my espionage and infiltration missions after the nine tails attack on the village. I tried to visit you whenever i came back to the village. But my guilt for not being there for your parents kept holding me back. I just, didn't had the courage to face you. Now, i have no excuse for not being there for you after what you have been through. But you remind me of your parents so much that it hurts me to think that i might have saved your parents from the nine tails but couldn't do anything. It just, hurts me to think. Now, if by any chance you're reading this way earlier than expected, then i will tell you who your parents are. After all, you at least deserve to know.
Naruto looked at the scroll with slight anger but also understanding. He felt a little angry at jiraiya for not being there for him, but he understood where he was coming from and eventually forgave him. He then skipped reading some parts since jiraiya was talking about his parents and he already knew about them. He then read further and to his surprise, he found out that these two scrolls which have a lot of jutsus belong to his parents and surprisingly hiruzen. The middle sized scroll belongs to his parents while the big one belongs to hiruzen. Jiraiya mentioned that hiruzen wanted naruto to inherit the scroll and protect it until konohamaru grows into his mature age. He would have given it to asuma since he is his elder child, but he eventually refused it and has no choice but to give it to konohamaru. But since konohamaru is still a kid and doesn't understand the risk of practicing an unknown jutsu, he decided to give it to naruto since he assumed that naruto at least knows to not play with unknown and risky jutsus, he hoped. Another vein grew on his forehead at the lack of trust that hiruzen was having. But he quickly calmed down and ignored the remark, before reading further.
"Listen naruto, even though you might have a lot of obstacles on your paths, heck you might not even become hokage because of those stupid villagers, but you should always remember one thing. Become hokage or not, i will always be proud of you no matter what."
Naruto read the last words in his mind and stayed silent, looking at the scroll with glistening eyes. He closed his eyes and faced down for a moment, before he looked up at the sky and stared at it with a soft smile. "Thank you pervy sage. You have no idea how much those words mean to me." Naruto muttered to himself in silent gratitude, before he took a deep breath and looked at the scrolls in determination.
He rolled back the small scroll and kept it inside his storage seal, Before he took the middle sized scroll and summoned a few clones to read it with him. "You all know what to do right?" All the clones nodded their heads and exclaimed in unison. "Yes boss!" Naruto nodded and signaled them to start reading the scroll, while he will explore the canyon to find a suitable place to train. After all, he doesn't wanna wreck the beautiful place which gives him some sense of peace.
