Demelza's patronus assumed the form of a rapid snowstorm.

"So," explained Demelza, "My patronus form is twofold in terms of its significance. First, I am a bona fide weather junkie. I love being outdoors and soaking up the sun, the rain, the wind, the heat, the cold, and yes, the snow. The other meaning is this: Sometimes, a storm can be fierce that you don't know what's hit when you find yourself caught in one. That's what I want to happen to the Death Eaters. I want them to not know what's hit them when we get a load of them."

"I like the way you think, Demelza," grinned Ginny, "Your knowledge of weather could also end being a major asset to us."

"And," added Demelza, "My natural talent for dodging and avoiding obstacles, which I put to great use as a chaser, will give me an advantage in an all-out battle should one take place."

"Harry gave you that chaser spot precisely because of how good you proved to be at dodging bludgers," remembered Ginny.

"Harry seemed relieved that I was as good as I was, " reminisced Demelza, "He knew he could count on you and Katie, but he seemed queasy about the third chaser spot. Harry often remarked during practice about how well the three of us played together as chasers. Now we're teammates again on a much bigger and more important team."

"You were a fantastic teammate and I recruited you to the newly reformed D.A. because I trust your character and loyalty," said Ginny sincerely.

"That means a lot, Ginny," replied Demelza sincerely, "Why don't you look at Riche's patronus next?"

Richie's patronus took on the appearance of a no smoking sign.

"That's certainly an unusual patronus," commented Ginny.

"To me," piped up Richie, "It represents the importance of doing the right thing. Not smoking is the right thing to do."

"Exactly," agreed Luna a nanosecond later, "Remember: Tobacco: Tumor causing, teeth staining, smelly, puking habit."

"Yes," nodded Richie, "It's an example that to me exemplifies the concept of making the right choices. Accepting my invitation to join the newly reformed D.A. was certainly the right thing to do given the circumstances at hand."

"You weren't too hard to convince," acknowledged Ginny.

"Nor was I," interjected Jimmy, whose patronus was currently a dragon.

"WOW!" said Neville in an awestruck voice, "A dragon as a patronus is a pretty cool bit of magic to see."

"Dragons are bold creatures and we're going to have to be bold if we are ultimately going to be victorious," reasoned Jimmy.

Neville and Luna, meanwhile, had two of the saddest patronus forms and Ginny knew exactly what these patronuses meant to them.

"So," Ginny addressed the room at large, "Neville and Luna both have deeply personal patronus forms that are terribly sad. We need to be very respectful of and sensitive to that and not make light of it. There is NOTHING funny or cool about either of their patronus forms.

"So," spoke up Sally, "Neville's patronus is in the form of a potted plant with leaves. I know Herbology is Neville's best and favorite subject. That plant doesn't seem to have any specific form. It's just the general form of a plant."

"As you all know by now," began Neville, getting out the words with difficulty, "My parents were tortured into insanity by Barty Crouch and Bellatrix Lestrange. The reason I work so hard at Herbology and study the subject so hard and so thoroughly is because I am hopeful that one day, I will be able to discover a medicinal solution that will cure my parents."

Everybody suspected that this was probably a false hope, but everyone felt so bad for Neville that nobody had it in him or her to express this doubt.

Instead, a few minutes and a few nanoseconds of intense silence followed.

Finally, Luna broke the silence by opening up about her own patronus's shape.

"So," spoke Luna quietly, "My patronus is composed of Puffapods. This is extremely deeply personal to me because puffapods were my mom's favorite flowers. Mom would buy flowers whenever she was out shopping when she saw flowers she liked. Her favorite colors were pink and purple. As you all know by now, I lost my mom to a tragic accident involving experimental magic when I was nine."

"There's no worse tragedy than a child losing a parent and there's no way around that," said Hannah empathetically. No nine year old should have to grieve for a deceased mother. I know how hard it was on me when my mom died, and I was sixteen. I can't imagine having to go through that at nine."

In third year," Ginny told them all, "Luna got triggered in a Herbology lesson when we covered Puffapods. Apparently, Pandora never even knew that the flowers she so adored were called Puffapods. She just bought flowers she loved without thinking about what they would be called. As such, Luna didn't think much of it when Professor Spout told us that we would be covering Puffapods that day. When they bloomed however, she became very emotional."

"And Ginny helped me to deal with that emotion," remembered Luna, "I felt like I needed to cry and let some emotion out, so I asked Ginny, who is a very talented singer, to sing me a sad song and she sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow for me, allowing me to fully expel my emotions at a time I really needed to."

"That is a very touching and poignant patronus, Luna," said Susan with dignity.

"My mom's spirit will guide me through these troubled times, I know that" said Luna solemnly.

Meanwhile, there was one last patronus to discuss: Sally's.

"My patronus taking on the shape of a phoenix is very significant to the group as a whole," said Sally softly, "Phoenixes are known for being VERY loyal pets to their owners. The single most important thing about this group is going to be our loyalty to each other. We all have to look at each other and have that commitment to being there for each other and standing by each other come hell or high water world. Everyone in this room needs to have the mentality of looking at the person next to him or her and being like, "Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through hell with you."

The importance of this message was not lost on the newly reformed D.A.

Everyone in the room now looked around at everyone else and they all allowed thoughts of love for all of each other to fill them up on the inside.

"That was very well said, Sally," cooed Luna appreciatively, "If I were Lord Voldemort, I would want all of us to feel cut off from everyone else because when it's just you alone, you're not as much of a threat."

"At the end of fifth year, in the aftermath of the Battle of the Department of Mysteries," explained Neville, "When we were getting ready to catch the Hogwarts Express to go home, Harry told us that we have something Voldemort doesn't have and that that something is something worth fighting for."

"Sally's patronus is so fitting," remarked Ginny, "As is her understanding. "

At this, everyone smiled at Sally.

There was no doubt that Sally had proved a diamond in the rough as a leader of the newly reformed D.A.

So, everybody's patronus has now been covered and the next update will get into some more serious stuff.

Much love from Arizona for all the support. Love you all -Michael.
