Chapter 25 - The Seven Continents vs Paradise
In a fighting stance, Izuku Midoriya, the ninth wielder of One for All, stared down two Pacifista. Being the only one currently on the battlefield, he was forced to defend against these two monstrously strong foes all by himself. But, with only 10% of One for All, could he really defend against a foe whose strength rivaled that which was more than double All Might's 100%?!
"No time to think about that now…" Izuku thought, "By using Blackwhip and aiming at their weak spot, I should be able to damage these guys. It won't be much, but I'll have to give it my best!"
Leaping into the air once more, Izuku narrowly dodged one of the Pacifista's laser blasts, even though he completely expected it before the Pacifista unleashed the blast. The difference in Izuku's speed and the Pacifista's was stark, and that was became abundantly clear to the boy when the second Pacifista fired at the airborne Izuku, who was left with only enough time to clench his teeth together.
A massive explosion was triggered after the laser hit Izuku… it was an attack of such strength that the boy should have been instantly killed. A dust cloud formed in wake of the attack, as Izuku was sent flying backwards into an alleyway, just narrowly avoiding smashing against the concrete with his Float quirk.
"Blackwhip… protected me?"
Without willing it to, Blackwhip had acted on its own earlier. Sprouting from Izuku's wrist, the tendrils of Blackwhip quickly had created a shield in front of the boy, allowing him to avoid the brunt of the impact.
"The previous holders of One for All must be gaining better control over their spirits…" Izuku thought, as a moment after, he felt a jolt of electricity surge through his head… he was correct.
Another more powerful jolt surged through Izuku's brain a moment later, as he quickly reacted to it. Utilizing Blackwhip, Izuku stretched it to two buildings which made up the alleyway he was in.
"Gum Gum… Rocket!" Izuku thought, as he propelled himself into the air. His previous location was then blasted with two lasers, causing a massive explosion within the alleyway.
"That was close!" Izuku thought after the attack, "These guys are just too strong though… there's no way I can beat them, but I can't let them accomplish whatever their goal is if it means people will get hurt!"
Izuku then thought for a minute, but a jolt of Danger Sense went off in his head once more. Izuku deactivated Float, and then utilized Blackwhip to grapple onto a nearby building. An instant later, barrages of lasers passed by Izuku. Speeding downwards, Izuku continued to think.
"If only there was a way that I could use a transformation, like All Might or Luffy…" Izuku thought, "But… that's not in the cards for now, I'm too damn weak! But... I have to do something-"
Even though he was now right on top of a building, Izuku wasn't safe. One of the two Pacifista had caught up to him. Even from just the exploding laser which Blackwhip had blocked, Izuku had been able to process just how powerful the Pacifista were; they weren't someone he could hope to beat... and if he was hit by a single blow, Izuku knew he would be dead*.
And if he didn't know that before, he would learn it soon enough, since the Pacifista in front of him had already clocked his fist back.
The fourth's Danger Sense intensely flared, causing Izuku's head to cry out in agony. But… it was too late for him to dodge, as the Pacifista had already extended its fist forwards, shooting it towards Izuku.
"Midoriya!" a voice shouted out, as just before the Pacifista hit him, a white tape-like substance surrounded the boy**. This substance was then pulled, as Izuku was propelled backwards by none other than Shota Aizawa out of the range of the Pacifista's punch. Despite Aizawa letting Izuku avoid that last attack, a massive air pressure wave from the punch still shot both Izuku and Aizawa backwards.
"Mr. Aizawa?!" Izuku shouted while flying backwards.
"I don't intend to let you die, kid!" Aizawa shouted.
The Pacifista didn't allow any more words to be shared after that, as a catalog of lasers then fired towards both Aizawa and Izuku at the very next moment. Having been alerted to this by Danger Sense, Izuku then shot a piece of Blackwhip into the streets below, intending to grapple below there. But, since he was so focused on using Blackwhip, Izuku's was hit by not one, but three laser blasts before he could dodge, causing massive damage around his body.
"Midoriya!" Aizawa shouted.
At the same time, Izuku lost control over Blackwhip, causing the tendril to rebound and shoot both Aizawa and himself to the ground in an instant.
With a dust cloud forming due to the heavy impact, only one continued to stand. Izuku was completely knocked out, and was losing blood fast, while Aizawa was also still bruised and bloodied. Both were clearly out of their depth in this fight.
Through the dust cloud, Aizawa used his binding cloth in order to apply pressure onto Izuku's wounds… but, they were very harsh, and Aizawa knew that Izuku required medical attention.
"Even Recovery Girl couldn't instantly heal this…" Aizawa noted, looking at the boy with his blurring vision, "Though to be fair… I'm not in such a hot condition myself."
Aizawa then heard a loud 'thud' behind him after he finished his thought. Looking behind himself, a striking quartet of white eyes penetrated through the dissipating dust cloud, as the pair of Pacifistas had arrived at the scene yet again.
"Those bastards are back up again?!" Aizawa noted with a concerned expression on his face, readying his binding cloth and looking at their hands, "And they're aiming for Midoriya!"
The pair of Pacifista readied themselves to shoot at the boy, but Aizawa was already ready for this. Jumping to the side and shooting his binding cloth at the arm of one of the Pacifista, it wrapped around it, and Aizawa attempted to move the arm so that it was no longer aiming at Izuku.
"Crap! Heavier than I thought!"
Putting all his might into pulling it his cloth, he was just barely able to move the Pacifista's arm. Unable to stop the attack, the first Pacifista ended up shooting the arm of the other, causing it's arm to fall to the floor and shoot at a nearby building instead of Izuku.
Quickly improvising, the pair of Pacifista readied up the four missile launchers in their respective shoulders. Aizawa's face moved to a look of shock, as he realized the Pacifista were still looking at Izuku. Before Aizawa had even a second to formulate a plan, the missiles fired at Izuku, and Aizawa's body moved before he could think.
The next moment, a massive explosion occurred. The Pacifista stood emotionless at the scene, even though they failed to hit their target.
As the dust cleared, Aizawa stood tall in front of Izuku, as he had taken the blast for the boy all by himself. Black and charred, irreparable damage had been dealt to Aizawa's body… and he fell to the ground, his fate left unknown.
Intending to finish those that they had already weakened, the pair of Pacifista began to fire a pair of laser blasts, one of which from the arm they had just regenerated... but, they were cut off.
"Don't engage with them any more, PX-17 and 18."
The instant the Pacifista were ordered this, PX-17 and 18 paused. Out from the shadows, Sentomaru arrived to save the pair.
"The higher-ups want this green haired kid alive, for one reason or another." Sentomaru stated, "And besides, you have a job to do. Kill All Might, and that raccoon dog too while you're at it! Quit slacking and get to it!"
Acknowledging their orders, the pair of Pacifista turned around, and a moment later, vanished from sight.
"Woah, what was with that explosion?!" Chopper thought aloud, "I should get back to Izuku and Mr. Aizawa to see if they need help… but your injuries… even with Recovery Girl's medicine, they're terrible!"
All around his body, the same medicine Chopper used on Izuku back at the Sports Festival was put on All Might's body. But even so, All Might's right arm was still barely in commission, and the rest of his body felt similarly. Even if All Might was well enough to be conscious, with the amount of medicine Chopper had to apply, he would likely be too fatigued to even move.
As he was working on applying a bandage to All Might's arm, Chopper smelt something that was off in the air. The next moment, Chopper acted.
"Guard Point!"
Chopper's sudden action was rewarded, as a group of missiles hit Chopper's body a moment after. Since the fur surrounding him absorbed the impact, Chopper was left without a scratch on him. Chopper did, however, get knocked back by the missiles, causing him to begin bouncing off of wall after wall.
"Good thing they used missiles and not lasers… otherwise I'd be toast!" Chopper noted, "Jump Point!"
Transforming once he hit the ground, Chopper launched himself into the air. Doing so allowed him to spot the Pacifista, who had previously shot at Chopper from the rooftop he was now at the same height as.
"What?! There are more Pacifistas?!" Chopper observed, "But… that means that the one All Might was fighting against couldn't just be a malfunction, this attack… it has to be targeted against him or someone else!"
Chopper didn't have the leeway to keep thinking however, as one Pacifista began to charge a laser out of his mouth, while the other began to shoot a barrage of lasers at Chopper.
"Horn Point!" Chopper shouted after finishing his thoughts. While transformed, Chopper did a front flip. By doing so, his horns caught themselves on the building in front of him, and allowed Chopper to flip over the onslaught of lasers charged by the second Pacifista.
Even despite dodging them, this would have still left Chopper vulnerable to the larger laser which was charged by the other Pacifista if not for his quick thinking.
"Kung Fu Point!" Chopper shouted yet again, as his body increased in weight, enabling him to reach the roof of the building and avoid the Pacifista's laser.
Utilizing the agile body provided to him by Kung Fu Point, Chopper then leapt to the Pacifista which had just attacked him. Front flipping to gain momentum, Chopper then kicked them in the head, dealing a good amount of damage to the Pacifista.
"Seems that these guys have the same weakness as the first one." Chopper thought.
The Pacifista that Chopper had just attacked then grabbed the reindeer by his thin leg faster than he could react and threw him down against the roof of the building. Due to this, Chopper began to fall through floor after floor of the building he was knocked through. Not only that, but due to the additional mass which Chopper's Kung Fu Point gave him, this made the speed at which Chopper fell was even greater, and the damage he took from falling through floor after floor worse than it usually would be.
"Guard Point!" Chopper shouted, hoping to alleviate some of the impact with his transformation. Falling through another floor, Chopper bounced off the ground after that due to the newfound fur that surrounded him.
The reindeer looked up above him, and afterwards shouted, "Jump Point!"
Jumping backwards, Chopper avoided a barrage of lasers which the Pacifista shot down the hole where Chopper had fallen through.
"Dang… those guys are tough…"
Behind him, Chopper heard a faint whimpering. Looking behind himself, Chopper was shocked to see a mother and her child behind him, both scared at the sight of Chopper's form. The reindeer looked backwards at them, and was unsure of how to proceed.
"O-oh… hello!"
At the sight of Chopper, the child winced and shot himself into his mother's arms. After seeing this, Chopper was confused, but a moment later, understood. Transforming away from his scary Jump Point form into his Horn Point form (which looked a little bit more humanoid; like a hairy teenager), Chopper knelt down to meet the pair of them.
"Hey now… it's all alright." Chopper stated, "I'm a hero in training at U.A… you'll all be safe."
"Oh… you are? Thank goodness…" the mother stated, breathing in a sigh of relief through a shaky voice. The child who was previously in his mother's arms got out of them, and then through tears, began to speak.
"There were… a lot of scary noises outside." the child recalled, "Do you think… that my daddy's okay?"
At the fear of the boy, Chopper retained a neutral face for a moment, unsure of how to proceed. He quickly sniffed the air to ensure the Pacifista's weren't following him, and then he decided to apply the lessons he had learnt as a student at U.A.
"Don't worry. Your dad should be just fine." Chopper asserted, "You must be brave to have made it through this… just sit tight now! Everything will be fine soon!"
"How… what if it isn't?" the child questioned.
Chopper then got up, transforming into his Heavy Point, and opened the window out back onto the battlefield. He looked back at the child and smiled.
"At times like this… you just have to believe!" Chopper stated confidently, "Because that belief makes us heroes stronger, so, just believe!"
With Chopper's statement, the child was moved, and wiped the tears from his face.
"T-then… I'll believe!" the child asserted, as the boy's mother was glad that his son was feeling better.
Chopper flashed another smile, as he reflected on what had just occurred.
"There's more to this than just fighting these bad guys... it's not like what happened Enies Lobby or at the USJ." Chopper thought.
Transforming into his Jump Point once more, Chopper then launched himself out the window he had opened, and once he exited, he saw a not so pleasant sight.
Backflipping, Chopper pressed his feet against the wall of the building behind him, and then launched downwards straight in front of All Might.
"Heavy Point!" Chopper shouted, putting his arms out to cover as large of an area as possible.
The next moment, the Pacifista who was aiming at All Might fired, though the shot was unfortunately intercepted by Chopper. Making contact with the reindeer's body, a large explosion occurred afterwards. As such happened, the Pacifista who was still on the roof landed beside the first Pacifista on the ground, and both began to fire a barrage of lasers at the cloud which was formed from the aforementioned explosion, hoping to eliminate their primary target.
Unfortunately for them, when the cloud disappeared from the air, the sight they saw wasn't a defeated All Might… but rather… absolutely nothing.
Having transformed into his Walk Point, the pair of Pacifista both quickly analyzed that Chopper was running away from the scene with All Might on his back. Bruised and bloodied, Chopper moved on, but the Pacifista quickly intercepted by shooting a barrage of lasers.
"Jump Poi-"
Before Chopper could transform, he was shot directly in one of his legs, causing himself to lose balance, and fall to the ground shortly thereafter. Beside him, All Might also fell down off of the reindeer after he lost balance, causing some of his old wounds to reopen.
"Oh no… All Might!" Chopper began, but he didn't have a moment to utter any more, as the Pacifista already began firing rapid fire lasers at All Might.
"Heavy Point!" Chopper shouted, shuffling in front of All Might and placing himself on top of the hero.
Despite the change in target, the Pacifista's merciless rampage didn't stop; they continued to fire at Chopper. Shot after shot, the lasers pierced deeper and deeper into the body of the reindeer, who winced in pain every time. Explosions occurred on his body after every laser fired, only adding to the damage he was forced to suffer.
Chopper wasn't the only one forced to suffer, however, as from afar, the aforementioned news reporter continued to commentate on the scene from his chopper.
"You heard it... here first… even now… after All Might has been defeated… and two more foes as strong as our Symbol of Peace have shown up…" the news reporter began, tears beginning to form in their eyes, "This brave hero is still pushing onwards! Come on kid, you can do this!"
"Chopper…" Ochaco muttered, shocked at how much pain that the boy was enduring.
"Chopper! What the hell are you doing just sitting there?!" Katsuki shouted, shocking Class 1-A due to his sudden, enthusiastic response, "Fight back! Kick these guys' asses, I know you're better than them!"
Inspired, the class began to join Katsuki in his chant.
"Yeah… Come on Chopper! Show them your power!" Ochaco cheered.
"Come now Chopper, you can win this!" Shoji chanted.
"Chopper! You can do this!" Sato exclaimed.
In the crowd of cheers, one stood out among the rest.
"Chopper! Kick their asses!" Ryuko shouted, "And All Might, you still got a job to do too! Don't give up!"
All around the world, various chants of similar nature occurred… as everyone was rooting for the victory of both the Symbol of Peace, and the newfound hero of incredible power, Tony Tony Chopper!
Nonetheless, this didn't stop the boy from being barraged by an onslaught of lasers, unable to even move if he even wanted to due to his the bottom part of his right leg having a hole in it (his right hind leg was hurt in his reindeer form, therefore, the damage carries over to the bottom of his right leg in human forms).
"Endure it…" Chopper mumbled to himself, "Think about… what Luffy would do!"
Blast after blast, Chopper followed his own orders… standing still and enduring every blast that came his way. His body couldn't hold up for much longer…
"Luffy…" Chopper muttered, beginning to tear up… but a moment later, his tears ceased. He recalled his captain, he recalled Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Franky, and even the courage showcased by Izuku and All Might, as well as the fear that he had seen in the face of the family he had promised to keep safe... Chopper breathed in, and a crunch could be heard within his mouth.
"I won't lose."
Suddenly, the blasts of the Pacifista seemingly stopped having any effect on Chopper. As this occurred, Chopper's size began to expand and expand, even from his Heavy Point form he was previously in. The transformation was long and grotesque, as his musculature expanded, and even his facial structure began to change, no longer mimicking a cute reindeer, but now, a sort of kaiju. Eventually reaching the size of a building, Chopper let out a massive roar, signifying that he had finished his transformation into his ultimate form: Monster Point.
"Using this transformation is risky, since I can only use it for three minutes... but it's the only choice I have." Chopper thought.
The Pacifista's continued their attacks from earlier, but Chopper made a quick move to stop them. Bending forwards, Chopper slammed his fist into the ground, attacking one of the Pacifista head on. Without a way to dodge it, the first Pacifista was effortlessly knocked down by Chopper's blow, instantly being destroyed, speaking to the power of Chopper's Monster Point form.
Seeing this, the second and only remaining Pacifista analyzed Chopper's newfound strength, and jumped backwards as fast as they could. Shooting a catalog of lasers in the process, Chopper quickly flinched once he realized they were still aimed at All Might.
"Focus on the fight… and allow me to deal with the formalities." a voice stated from afar, as the threads on All Might's clothing began to gain a mind of their own, rocketing the hero up into the air. On top of the building behind Chopper, a pro hero was standing with Aizawa, Izuku, and now All Might in his arms.
"Best Jeanist!" Chopper noted, as stars began to form in his eyes, "Wow! You saved them all in one fell swoop! That's so cool!"
"Of course. Elegance is a requirement if you wish to go pro." Best Jeanist replied, "While I don't know who you are, or how you have strength comparable to All Might… but do us all a favor and defeat that villain, if you please."
"Yes sir!" Chopper stated, as looking ahead, he saw that the Pacifista had already retreated a considerable distance from him, "Oh no you don't!"
While the Pacifista was fast, Chopper's large size allowed his steps to be larger, therefore allowing him to traverse even faster than the Pacifista could.
On a nearby rooftop, the Pacifista tried to charge up a mouth beam to try and counter Chopper's transformation, but Chopper reached him too fast. The pirate then uppercutted the Pacifista, careful to not destroy the building which they stood on.
While this attack was powerful, it only hit the body and below of the Pacifista, avoiding it's head. As such, while the rest of the Pacifista's body was destroyed, it was quickly able to regenerate in midair. The Pacifista then decided to utilize missiles, as a refreshed pair appeared out of his shoulders. The moment the missiles were ready, the Pacifista launched them directly at Chopper, trying to target the monster's mouth, a place which could be the monster's weakness.
Unfortunately for the Pacifista, Chopper's fist was able to punch straight through the missiles, and after that, hit the cyborg as well. The Pacifista was launched backwards a decent amount, and put out of the range of Chopper. Utilizing this to their advantage, the Pacifista dropped down onto a rooftop far away from Chopper, and then, charging up a laser in their mouth, they approached Best Jeanist, and by proxy, All Might.
"Hey, you-" Chopper began to say, before a sudden shock hit his right leg. In a slow and exaggerated fashion due to his immense size, Chopper began to fall down after this, catching a glimpse at the man in a red outfit that did attacked him as he did.
"It's that guy from Sabaody!" Chopper quickly realized, "He targeted my injury from when I got hit in my Walk Point earlier… was he watching this fight the entire time?! Why didn't I smell him?!"
With no answers to his questions, Chopper hit the ground shortly thereafter, causing a massive impact to occur on the ground below.
The Pacifista had launched itself through the air at a rate which Best Jeanist could barely react to. While carrying Aizawa, Izuku, and All Might on his back via his quirk, he utilized his ability yet again in order to quickly dodge the Pacifista's laser, though the ensuing explosion still knocked the hero backwards.
Best Jeanist shut his eyes, as the air that blew into his face was too intense for him to keep them open. As he was getting blown back, he utilized his quirk in order to lock fibers from his clothing into the ground, stabilizing his position. The wave of air continued to blow intensely for a few moments longer, but after those few moments, it dissipated.
Opening his eyes, Best Jeanist looked ahead of him, as he saw the Pacifista launching towards him with his right fist clocked back… prepared to go through Jeanist to end the life of All Might. Without a single second to react, Best Jeanist just stood there, and at the next moment, the Pacifista's punch shot forwards… and everything stood still.
Best Jeanist was shocked by what had just occurred, while the Pacifista remained emotionless. The punch of the Pacifista let off an intense amount of pressure surrounding the area… but that pressure wasn't only caused by the cyborg.
Standing in between Best Jeanist and the Pacifista's fist was All Might, his own left fist outstretched in order to counter the blow with the last of his embers of One for All. Due to countering the Pacifista's blow, All Might's arm was now completely shattered… and his injuries that were previously beginning to heal thanks to Chopper had begun to reopen.
"All Might…" Best Jeanist began to say in awe.
Still on the ground, Chopper looked up at All Might, and shouted, "All Might! You shouldn't be up with your wounds!"
"You've seen it here! All Might is back up!" the brave news reporter announced to the world, his voice filled with elation.
All Might remained silent for a moment, as the Pacifista looked on at All Might with an idle face as well. Even it seemingly wanted to hear a response from All Might… and a response was given.
"I'm… so weak…" All Might began, his voice shaking as he spoke, "My students… my colleagues… each and every one of them has gotten beaten and bloodied in this fight; they're on the brink of death… all because… I'm weak…"
"All Might…" Best Jeanist, the one closest to him, said melancholically.
"I've been… neglecting my own weakness… for so long…" All Might continued, "...For so long that a villain like you… has caught up to me…"
Across the battlefield, only a faint wind could be heard over All Might's speech.
"But… even despite my weakness…" All Might asserted, "I am the Symbol of Peace… people all over the world… they look to me as a… a pillar of strength!"
Stars began to flash from All Might's body, as All Might unleashed a quick jab with his broken right arm. Even despite how weak his body was, the attack still knocked the Pacifista back due to All Might's newfound will… a will to win.
"A villain like you… could never understand what that means!" All Might shouted.
The Pacifista got up after All Might's unexpectedly strong attack, and to his surprise, he saw All Might. Power was swelling within his right arm, as everything that he had within him was to be poured into it.
"All Might…" Chopper began, "You got this!"
"All Might…" the news reporter said through tears, "YOU GOT THIS!"
"ALL MIGHT! KICK HIS ASS!" Katsuki, at U.A., shouted.
From U.A. High, to the Mustafu Police Station, to every city across Japan, to every continent across the world… it wouldn't be a stretch to say that everyone was cheering for All Might. One final time, the Symbol of Peace cast aside everything else, and vowed once more to everyone… that he'd win this fight!
"THREE STAR GOKU UNIFORM… ALMIGHTY REGALIA!" All Might shouted, pounding his feet against the ground as he rushed towards the Pacifista at speeds faster than it could even comprehend.
Now, All Might was directly in front of them… and they didn't have so much as a second to react to what came next.
"FOR EVERYONE CRYING OUT IN FEAR AND SADNESS, AND TO PROTECT THEIR FUTURE TEARS OF JOY…" All Might shouted.
All Might shot his left arm forwards. The Pacifista, clenching his teeth, tried to counter with a punch of their own, but their own left arm was blown clean off from the attempt.
"FOR ALL THE STUDENTS AT U.A., WHO I STILL HAVE YET TO FINISH TEACHING…"
The Pacifista tried to ready missiles from their arms, but All Might saw this coming. Quickly utilizing Shave once more, All Might quickly smashed both of the Pacifista's missile launchers to shreds at speeds faster than the Pacifista could comprehend. The Pacifista lost sight of All Might… and that was their last move.
"AND FOR THE FUTURE OF YOUNG MIDORIYA…" Toshinori Yagi shouted, "I CANNOT LOSE!"
On top of the Pacifista, All Might's right arm was still clocked backwards, with everything he had about to be put into this final blow.
"Farewell… One for All."
Shooting his arm downwards, the blow that All Might unleashed caused the Pacifista's short life to flash before its eyes.
"UNITED STATES OF... SMASHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Hitting the Pacifista directly, it began to fly downwards. Crashing through ceiling after ceiling on its way downwards, the Pacifista began to discharge electricity around itself at a rapid rate. Reaching the concrete below, the Pacifista exploded directly as it hit the land below. The explosion was massive, and powerful, a testament to just how powerful All Might himself was. It was clear now what had occured.
All Might had won.
That wasn't all yet, though. From the aforementioned explosion, the building All Might and Best Jeanist were standing on began to collapse. All Might remained standing still, unable to so much as move anymore.
"I'll give you a hand All Might, but let's get moving!" Best Jeanist shouted, utilizing his quirk to once more aid the hero.
The building fell down, and as that occurred, everyone around the area remained silent. Was the battle won? Would another villain show up again? Doubts filled every corner of the civilians minds… but once the dust from the ruins of the destroyed building settled… only one man arrived from outside the rubble, unperturbed… All Might.
Walking out from the dust cloud, the tension on everyone's faces suddenly vanished.
Without a single word, All Might walked to the center of the street, transformed into his buff form, and placed his fist upwards, proclaiming victory. The Symbol of Peace had completed his final act.
"All Might… he…" Mina muttered.
"I told ya he'd win!" Ryuko shouted.
"That was so manly…" Kirishima muttered.
"Tch... way to keep us guessing. I'd wrap that up in ten seconds!" Katsuki scoffed.
"More like you'd be dead in ten seconds..." Kaminari commented.
"HEY, SAY THAT TO MY FACE!"
"All Might!" Chopper, now in his Brain Point form and exhausted from the aftereffects of Monster Point, called out, "You shouldn't… be in that form now!"
"Let him have this, raccoon dog." Best Jeanist stated, now beside Chopper, "He's still on the job."
"YOU'VE SEEN IT HERE!" the news reporter shouted out yet again, "All Might… our Symbol of Peace... has won!"
From everywhere across the world… people cheered on that day for All Might, for his unbelievable strength had saved them yet again, from an impossible to conquer enemy.
Reassuring everyone that hope had arrived… it was unfortunate that for the bleak times that were to come, All Might wouldn't be able to reassure the world again.

* = Just to clarify, this means that if Izuku is hit head on by a punch or a massive laser beam, they will instantly disintegrate his body and he will die. Tiny blasts will cut through him like butter, but they won't kill him.
** = Aizawa had his binding cloth fired the moment Izuku had touched down on the ground. This was just him completing the motion.
And there were are! The first major saga of Kill One Hero has been mostly completed, with All Might proclaiming victory during his last mission as the Symbol of Peace.
I was actually considering removing Chapter 25 from the story and just including Chapter 24, but there's just too much good stuff in Chapter 25 to ignore it... so, I hope that that was the right call, and this chapter didn't seem redundant at all.
Chapter 26 is going to be finishing off the U.A. Saga of the story with an epilogue showcasing the effects of the Battle of Fajesta. This chapter has a lot of stuff within it, which is absolutely pivotal to understanding how future events will be playing out, so I'll release it soon and dub my thoughts on it then.
For now... I think it's time to reflect on the first chapter of the story.
MY REFLECTIONS ON THE U.A. SAGA
I think my inexperience with fanfiction writing, or even fiction writing as a whole is largely prevalent in this section of the story.
Chapter 1 isn't really a good hook, the events from the Entrance Exam to the Sports Festival are a slog, but still... I'm genuinely amazed by some of the peaks of this story. The level of emotion I felt during the climax of fights like Izuku vs Katsuki and the Battle of Fajesta are levels that rival my investment into the main series I've adapted... I know I'm likely biased since this is my own series, but I think it also speaks to just how good of a job I feel I've done when it comes to grand set pieces.
Looking back at the reviews on this series, my biggest regret in this series is just how minimally I injected the blood of Kill La Kill into the story. The story feels like a crossover between One Piece and My Hero Academia with Ryuko also being there, with the Life Fibers existing as a cool power-up. I've taken this into consideration with my future plans though. Originally, I was going to have the events of Kill La Kill start once One Piece's timeskip started, but as I mentioned earlier in this story, I now intend for Chapter 31 to feature the first clash between Class 1-A and the influence of Satsuki Kiryuin.
But... that's enough from me. What are your thoughts on the U.A. Saga of Kill One Hero? I would love to hear them so that I can change up future events of the story to make them better for my target audience, which is all of you.
