Explosive Start Up and Burning Determination!
The battle with Medaka and Mogana vs Zenkichi and Shiranui was intense and inspiring besides the fight with Izuku and Katsuki, the other students of Class 1-A have given their own matches their all treating the training the session seriously. Now they are standing at the exit tunnel with All Might looking at them with his proud smile and blew a whistle.
"That's a wrap! Super Work, you really stepped up to the plate. And we didn't have any major injuries, except for Midoriya. You should be proud. Excellent first day of training, all around!" All Might praised to the students.
"Thank you, father." Medaka nodded.
"It's nice to hear some encouraging words after our homeroom class. Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill." Tsuyu commented as almost everyone agrees except for Zenkichi and Shiranui as they just arrived together.
"Now Tsuyu, Mr. Aizawa just have his own way of caring for others. You can't always judge a book by its cover." Medaka stated.
"She is right, just give Aizawa enough time and you'll he's not such a harsh man. And I'm glad to bring to positive staggering to my alma mater!" All Might said cheerfully.
"That's all for now, folks! I should go check on Young Midoriya's progress!" All Might said.
"Mind if I come along, father? I want to make sure he's doing alright in Recovery Girl's office." Medaka asked.
"Sure, class is about to be over, so you got time for a short visit." All Might nodded.
"Thank you." Medaka said and turn to her classmates.
"Okay everyone, now watch how me and father make a heroic dramatic exit like he got somewhere right at this second!" Medaka started in a running start position.
"Enjoy your day!" All Might shouted and the two spirted away from the other students in a burst of speed.
"Okay, now that was a hero's exit!" Denki impressed.
"Aw, I'll never be able to run that fast." Mashirao exclaimed.
"Super awesome!" Minoru amazed that he got to see the rear end of Medaka for a few seconds.
"You know, I'm still surprise that you're taking Medaka having a boyfriend very well consider you two used to be childhood friends." Shiranui said to Zenkichi.
"Well, I kind of figure that Medaka and I are better off as friends and I only see her as a sister I never had. Even though I may still have feelings for her, I'm just glad that she's happy and that's enough for me." Zenkichi smiled.
"Sound pretty modest." Mogana commented.
Meanwhile, Medaka and All Might are running through the hallway as the Number 1 Hero looks back at Katsuki with his eyes being shadowed by his hair.
"(Young Bakugo really is overflowing with pride. His ego may be justified, but a school like UA is bond to shatter it. As his teacher, it's my sworn duty to counsel him well.)" All Might promised.
"Father, we're near the door." Medaka alerted.
"Thank you!" All Might thanked and they made their way to the door quickly closing it before he transformed back into his skinny state.
"Man, I barely have time to teach a class. Shit." Toshinori cursed himself.
"Don't worry, father, I'm sure we'll think of something for your schedule in class." Medaka said.
"We can worry about that later. Let's go check on young Midoriya." Toshinori panted a bit as they start walking toward the Nurse's Office.
(Recovery Girl's Nurse Office)
"Oh Izuku, seeing you like this almost makes me feel at ease." Medaka stroked the cheek of her sleeping Deku.
"Then maybe you should have let All Might stop the fight. It's only the second day of school and he's already a regular patient." The old short woman scolded at Medaka.
"Forgive me, Recovery Girl, but that fight was something Izuku needed to do to confront his former childhood friend and I wanted to see how it would end." Medaka bowed at the old hero woman.
"I have no excuses for letting this happen." Medaka said.
"As long as you make sure this doesn't happen again." Recovery Girl said and looked toward Toshinori.
"And you, All Might, you should have known better than to let your student despite being your daughter prevented you doing so." Recovery Girl scolded.
"You're right, I should've been a better teacher." Toshinori exclaimed.
"The boy here is too exhausted from his classes for my Quirk. I can't treat all his injuries at once. I did some first aid, but after the IV is finished, we'll have to wait for this body to heal overnight." Recovery Girl explained about Izuku's condition.
"I'm glad to hear that." Medaka sighed in relief.
"Come on, I know you want to help Izuku out since he inherited All Might's Quirk, but that doesn't mean you should spoil him and that goes for your father too." Recovery Girl pointed out.
"I am trying not to play favorites as I'm sure Izuku wouldn't want that and what Medaka said. Also, will you please not talk so loud about One for All when anyone around you could hear?" Toshinori said.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Mr. Natural-Born hero, Mr. Symbol of Peace." Recovery Girl rolled her eyes.
"Several people know about my injury and this weak form like the UA faculty and a certain group of pro heroes, for example. However, only a select few people know the secret of One for All. There's you, the principal, Medaka, and a very close friend of mine. Young Midoriya too, of course, but no one else knows the truth about my powers." Toshinori listed the people who knows about One for All.
"Don't forget about Grandpa Gran Torino." Medaka mentioned making Toshinori flinches in fear.
"Y-Yes, there's him too." Toshinori coughed a bit.
"(Even after all these years, he is still afraid of the old man.)" Medaka thought giggled.
"Oh, All Might, you're the Number 1 Hero in the world. Does it really matter if you were born with your Quirk or not? Do you have to be the "Symbol of Peace"? Is it that important?" Recovery Girl asked.
"If they knew I wasn't, the temptation of this power could corrupt our society. This Quirk, those who wield it are responsible for mankind's safety." Toshinori said strongly.
"Some Quirkless people have tried to become heroes even today, but always get rejected because of how our society keeps pushing them away despite their determination." Medaka stated.
"Yeah, I knew those feelings well before I met my master." Toshinori remembered those days.
"Which is why, with Izuku's help, I'm going to change those rules and allow the Quirkless to become heroes too so that no one would ever be pushed away from their dreams ever again." Medaka determined.
Recovery Girl smiled upon hearing those strong words from Toshinori and Medaka knowing how serious they are when it comes to these that are important to them as she smiles.
"Well, if that's the case, it's even more important for you, All Might, to be a good guide. And for you, Medaka, to be there for him and needs you the most." Recovery Girl advised.
"We understand." Medaka and Toshinori nodded.
(Two Hours Later)
Izuku was having a dream about when All Might and Medaka told him that he can be a great hero, the memory of punching the zero-point giant robot, and the time when he declared him as the hero Deku in front of Katsuki.
Then he woke up finding himself on the medical bed in the Nurse Office.
"Hey there, sleepy head, you feeling okay?" Medaka asked as she just entered.
"Medaka… is it really this late already?" Izuku asked looking at the clock.
"Yes, you've missed all of your afternoon classes, but I took in some notes for you to go over at home." Medaka informed.
"I see, Mr. Aizawa is probably gonna choke me with his scarf." Izuku scared a bit.
"Don't worry, he's just going to give you a scolding about doing better with your Quirk and all. Now, let's get you off bed." Medaka helped take the tube off his arm while Recovery Girl checked on him one last time.
"Okay, you're good to okay. Come back tomorrow, okay." Recovery Girl said.
Medaka and Izuku made their way back to their homeroom class to pick up Izuku's school bag and stuff before going home, they enter the room seeing most of their classmates are still here.
"Hey look, it's Midoriya! Good to see ya back, super!" Eijiro said as he and some other students are walking up to him.
"Man, I don't know what you were saying during the match. But you were all fired up!" Eijiro commented.
"I can't believe you held your own against Bakugo, he's super strong!" Hanta said.
"Maybe, but Izuku's heart is bigger than you can imagine." Medaka said with a smug.
"You did a great job dodging!" Mina complimented.
"You and Medaka were awesome in those matches, so none of us held back in our rounds either!" Rikido mentioned.
"You're far from elegant, but I guess you're"
"And the dodging was like whoa!" Mina cut off Yuga as she is excited to meet Izuku with her cheeks blushing a bit.
"It looks like you're becoming quite popular." Medaka giggled as Izuku nervous of this new feeling.
"Hey, I'm Eijiro Kirishima. We've been going over training results while you were in recovery." Eijiro introduce himself.
"Hi, I'm Hanta Sato." Hanta greeted.
"More importantly, I'm Yuga Aoy" Mina cuts him off again.
"I'm Mina Ashido! And I just gotta say, your dodging was awesome!" Mina complimented on the dodging again.
"I believe you already said that." Medaka giggled.
"Tsuyu Asui, but please call me Tsu." Tsuyu greeted.
"Hey, I'm Rikido Sato." Rikido greeted with a thumb up.
"Umm, hi guys." Izuku greeted nervously.
"And my name is Minoru Mineta!" Minoru jumped.
"Hey there, I heard about you from Medaka. I'm Zenkichi Hitoyoshi." Zenkichi greeted walking up to them.
"And I'm Hansode Shiranui, a pleasure to meet you." Shiranui winked cutely.
"Hello Midoriya, I'm Momo Yaoyorozu and I hope we can get along." Momo introduced herself.
Izuku and Medaka saw Tenya trying to scold Fumikage Tokoyami for using his desk as a chair though he along with Mashirao and Kyoko think he needs to relax from all the tensions he's letting out. Then Ochaco and Denki came in carrying books as the electric guy try to ask her out, but Ochaco just left him as she saw Izuku with the cast.
"Hey Deku, why didn't she heal your injuries?" Ochaco asked worry.
"Oh, well, it has something to do with how much stamina I'm using." Izuku answered as Ochaco is confuse.
"Recovery Girl's Quirk uses a person's stamina to help the fatal wounds and will leave the person exhausted like he just ran a marathon." Medaka explained.
"Oh, I think I get it." Ochaco said.
Then Izuku saw Katsuki's desk empty and his school bag is gone too.
"Uh, Ochaco, where's Kacchan?" Izuku asked.
"We tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen. You just missed him." Ochaco answered.
Immediately, Izuku ran off to go after Katsuki and saw him outside as he shouts out to his former childhood friend.
"Kacchan! Wait up!" Izuku called out.
"What?" Kasuki stopped and turn around.
"(I haven't told anyone this secret. Not even my mom.)" Izuku thought hopefully to be careful of what he will say.
"I have to tell you something. Maybe then, you'll understand what's been going on." Izuku said before getting a deep breath.
"I was hiding my Quirk from you. It came to me, sometime after the sludge villain incident, as it turns out I'm a late bloomer. A very rare one to be exact from what Medaka told me. Though to be honest, this power felt more like a borrowed power from her father, but she told me it's my power alone and I'm the one decides on how to use it like to be a hero." Izuku explained while Katsuki just stares at him.
"I know what I'm saying may sound crazy, like it's something out of a comic book, but it's real. The thing is, I don't really have any control over this power yet. I only figured out the small part as using a small fraction of it, but I'm trying to make this power my own. I didn't want to use this power during the exercise, but in the end, it was the only way that I had a chance of winning." Izuku mentioned as Katsuki grind his teeth.
"Even though Medaka helped me get a little better, I still have a lot to learn, I know that. That's why I'm here. You'll see, I'll work until I have full control of this late Quirk of mine. And I'll finally beat you with all of my own power!" Izuku declared.
He notices that Katsuki is looking at him with a weird and shock expression.
"(Oh crap, I hope I wasn't saying anything that exposes my Quirk! Plus, I only wanted to tell him that I wasn't tricking him!)" Izuku thought realized.
"How dumb do you think I am?" Katsuki asked making Izuku gasp a bit.
"You're saying like you're treating your Quirk like a borrowed power. Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot… you already made a fool outta me in that damn training exercise." Katsuki stated looking down.
"Did you come here to rub it in? I lost and to make matters worse, it was to you. I came in first in the exam, but that's not enough." Katsuki said.
"When I was watching that ice guy, I realized I couldn't beat him in a head-on-head fight." Katsuki angered at himself, remembering watching the match with Shoto Todoroki freezing most of the building.
"There is also the large-scale attack he pulled that could have destroyed the building if not careful." Medaka's words from earlier played in his head.
"Crap! I even agreed with what that bimbo Might girlfriend of yours said. My attack was so stupid!" Katsuki admitted in angry.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Katsuki cursed at himself and clenches his fist.
"Enjoy that win, Deku. You won't get another!" Katsuki faced Izuku showing the rage in his eyes and tears coming out too.
"I'm just getting started! Got that?! I'm gonna end up the Number 1 Hero no matter what!" Katsuki declared before turning around and walking away.
Izuku look at Katsuki's back seeing that he has made his own starting of his journey to becoming a hero on his own.
"See, father. There was no need for you to come out after all." Medaka said walking to Izuku's right and All Might on the left.
"Huh, what?" Izuku confused, wondering if they were listening to that conversation the entire time.
"Yes, I can see he already gotten over it. Man, being a teacher is hard." All Might sighed.
Meanwhile still inside the school building looking out the window are Mina, Ochaco, Hansode, and Tsuyu.
"Huh, I wonder what was all that about?" Mina asked curious.
"That was the fated battle between rivals." Ochaco said.
"Maybe and whatever Midoriya was saying, it looked like Bakugo really wanted to punch him." Tsuyu pointed out.
"Childhood friends turned enemies!" Ochaco pressed her forehead on the window.
"From what I can tell, those two are going to make our new school years in UA very interesting. I'm actually looking forward to this." Hansode chuckled.
"(Kacchan's fused has been lit. There's a fire under him.)" Izuku thought commented.
"(But that doesn't change what I have to do. I'll keep chasing after him until I'm ahead of him!)" Izuku thought determined.
"Now, I believe we should be getting home right now. You still need to recover." Medaka suggested.
"Right." Izuku nodded.
(Unknown Location)
"None of us were prepared for what was to come. Even Medaka was surprised by that. Her and All Might warned us about cunning villains. And a few days later, we learned firsthand how terrifying they could actually be."
The scene shows that looks like a small bar with a man covered in black-purplish mist cleaning a class and a creepy-looking man looking at the newspaper of All Might being a teacher at UA.
"Hey, what do you think will happen when the mighty Symbol of Peace… is finally killed by the villains?" The creepy man with a hand on his face asked.

Looks like Katsuki's goal of becoming a hero has matured a bit since the combat training and Izuku is going to work ever harder to control One for All, but it looks like some dark companies are going to make their school year harder than they thought.
