Major Water Danger and Unleash the Goddess
Toshinori is seen resting in the teacher lounge and scolding himself for doing an amateur move like doing his hero work while on his way to school, he should have known better that it would force him off for a while until probably the end of today's hero training.
Then he looks down at his phone having the concern look on his face.
"Is there something troubling you, All Might?" A short white fur man asked.
"Sorry, Principal Nezu. I was just thinking about my daughter and the class, I feel worried for some reason." Toshinori said.
"Well, it's only natural for a parent to be worried for his child even though you two aren't related by blood. The two of you have shown to form a bond that is just as strong or stronger than blood." Nezu believed.
Nezu is a stout man who appears to be a possible combination of several different animals, including a dog, a mouse, and a bear, which would make him a chimera. He has the head of a mouse with circular black eyes, a large scar over the right one, relatively rectangular-shaped ears with pale pink insides slanting outwards from the top of his head, and an elongated muzzle with a small round nose. His fur is white and has large, dog-like paws with pink pads and a thin tail like that of a cat. He sports a white dress shirt, a dark red tie around his neck, a black double-breasted waistcoat and matching dress pants. He wears orange lace-up sneakers with incredibly thick soles which seem to be quite large on him, very similar to the ones usually worn by Izuku Midoriya.
This little animal is none other than Nezu, the Pro Hero and principal of UA High School. He came into the lounge to keep All Might from overexerting himself of using his Quirk, and decided to sit down with him for some tea.
"I guess you got a point there, but I still can't help but feel that something else is going on. I can't get a hold of Thirteen or Aizawa either." Toshinori mentioned.
"I'm sure everything is peachy. Now let us continue with the teaching methods I was talking about." Nezu said smiling.
"Sure, not like I got anything better to do, sir." Toshinori exclaimed, he really wants to get out of this lecture.
(USJ, Tenya's Group)
Mezo already using his Dupli-Arms Quirk to do some recon on what is happening to his classmates after being suggested by Tenya while he and the others kept their eyes on the misty villain who is reforming after sending the other students throughout the faculty.
"Shoji, got them, anything? Where is everyone?" Tenya asked concern.
"They've been scattered across the facility, but our classmates are still here." Mezo informed much to their relief.
"But Medaka is currently fighting one of the boss villains down at the plaza, and she seems to be having a hard time as well." Mezo mentioned making them shock.
The Nomu goes for a straight kick which Medaka quickly blocks then instantly push it aside to go for a counterattack such as throwing a barrage of punches with her right arm, she goes down to swipe kick the other leg of the Nomu forcing it in the air for moment.
"Let see how you handle this!" Medaka attacked with a drop-kick slamming the Nomu onto the ground.
But that didn't seem to work as the Nomu grabs onto Medaka's legs and slams her on the ground before tossing her to crash into the bottom of the stairs.
"Damn it, this thing just won't stay down." Medaka glared at the Nomu.
Back with the six remaining students and Thirteen.
"What do we do? The guy is not affected by physical attacks and can apparently teleport stuff." Hanta wondered if there is stopping this misty villain.
Thirteen quickly tries to think of something then remembers Tenya Iida with his speed Quirk, then an idea came in.
"Tenya Iida." Thirteen said getting Tenya's attention.
"I have a job for you. Run to the school and tell the faculty what's going on here." Thirteen ordered much to Tenya's shock.
"The alarms aren't sounding, and our phones and radios are useless right now. One of these villains must be to blame even though Eraser Head is canceling people's Quirks left and right, we're still completely sealed off from the outside world." Thirteen pointed out the situation.
"Likely, whoever is causing this interference hid as soon as they warped into the USJ. They could be anywhere, impossible to hunt down. It'll be faster for you to run and get help than for us to find whoever's jamming everything." Thirteen stated.
"Yes, but—It would be disgraceful for me to leave you all behind." Tenya refused to leave his classmates behind.
"Tenya! GO!" Medaka shouted after jumping above a punch from Nomu.
Her shout reaches her classes surprising them a bit, almost like she knew what Thirteen was saying from all the way down there and saying that Tenya should go with Thirteen's plan.
"You heard our class rep, Iida. You have to go." Rikido said stepping forward a few feet.
"There are lots of alarms outside, that's why they're keeping all of us trapped inside the USJ, right?" Rikido pointed out.
"As long as you can get outside, they won't follow. Blow this bastard mist away with those Engine Legs!" Hanta believed Tenya can do it.
"Use your Quirk to save others. Be a real hero!" Thirteen stated.
"Do it, Iida!" Ochaco said to encourage her friend.
"Medaka believes in you, that's why she yelled the way she did. So, I'm going to help you!" Ochaco said strongly believing in her speedy friend.
"Yeah, you totally got this, Iida!" Mina nodded in agreement.
Tenya couldn't believe that he was getting this much fate from everyone here that includes the Pro hero, and the Class Representative believes in him too, this burns a new determination within the speedy boy as he ready his Engine Leg to make his run for the door.
"Even if that is your only option, are you really foolish enough to strategize in front of your enemy?" Kurogiri asked sending dark, misty tentacles at them.
"It won't matter if you know what we're planning or not when I'm done with you! Black Hole!" Thirteen popped the cap of her finger to open and started using her Quirk to suck the villain towards her.
(Shipwreck Zone, Izuku's Group)
"What do you mean "fight"? Are you crazy?! These guys might be able to All Might and Yagi, and you think we can take them?! Did you hit your head when we got warped here?!" Minoru freaked out.
"The best plan is for us to just wait for a real pro from UA to come and save us!" Minoru stated with tears streaming down in fear.
"Think about it. Those villains down there clearly have an advantage in the water and assume that's where we'll fight." Izuku stated, choosing to ignore Minoru's crying.
"If that's the case, they must've known what was inside the USJ before they warped in." Tsuyu said.
"Yeah, but for a group with such careful planning, there's one thing that really sticks out to me, something that just doesn't add up. They sent you here, Tsu." Izuku mentioned, and mentally relief that he just called her by the nickname she wanted to be called.
"But why does it matter that she's here?" Minoru asked, still freaking out.
"It means the villains probably have no idea what our Quirks are!" Izuku pointed out which Tsuyu also realize this.
"Ribbit. You got a point. If they knew I was a frog, they would've sent me into that Fire Zone over there instead of somewhere full of water." Tsuyu said understanding this.
"They probably separated us because they didn't know what we could do and planned to overpower us once we were in smaller groups. Easier to pick us off one by one." Izuku guessed of what the villains thinks.
"We can use that to our advantage. They don't know what our Quirks are. So, for all they know, the three of us could be super powerful." Izuku said which seems to be the case.
"Look, none of them are trying to climb into the boat. That proves they're a little unsure, but that means they're not going to underestimate us either. They're being smart and playing it safe… for now." Izuku stated.
"Now, all we need is a plan to fight those villains and get out of here." Izuku said.
"Let's talk Quirk first." Tsuyu suggested as they kneel on the floor.
"I'll go first. Obviously, I can jump high and cling to pretty much any wall, and of course there's my tongue. I can stick it out about 20 meters. Oh yeah, and I can spit out my stomach so I can clean it. That's not really useful. Finally, I also secret a toxic mucus, it just stings a bit." Tsuyu explained about her Frog Quirk.
Minoru starts to get a perverted thought or two of Tsuyu's mucus which totally gives him the wrong idea.
"We can probably only use my jumping and my tongue here. Forget about the last things." Tsuyu said.
"I figured you were powerful, but that's crazy! You're the most amazing frog girl I have ever met!" Izuku complimented, causing Tsuyu to blush with a cute ribbit sound.
"I have super strength, but it comes at a price. It's too strong for me to control if I were to go at full power and make myself useless, which is why I use the lower percentage of my power and working my way up until I can use 100%." Izuku explained about his Quirk, not revealing One for All and such.
"I got these sticky balls." Minoru said as he pulls out one of the balls from his head and pace it on the boat.
"Their strength is varying. Depending on how I'm feeling like being healthy and all, they might stick to something a whole day. They grow back as fast as I pull them off, but I'll bleed if I use too many. Oh, and they don't stick to me, I just bonce right off them." Minoru explained about his Pop Off Quirk.
Izuku and Tsuyu just stare at him silent taking the consideration if this Quirk could really be useful to them or not, but Minoru didn't like the silence treatment and starts panicking with the crying again.
"Don't look at me like that! This is why I said we should wait for the real heroes! My Quirk is totally unfit for battle and we're gonna die!" Minoru exclaimed.
"No, you have an incredible power. Really, we just have to figure out how to use it!" Izuku stated, trying to calm him down.
But the group talk is interrupted when one villain controlled the water to slice the boat in half because he was getting bored of all this waiting.
"That's a great power, now the ship is sinking." Tsuyu shocked.
Minoru freaks out again and was about to go toward the edge to throw his sticky balls into the water to show how useless his Quirk is, but Izuku quickly stop him before he could do that.
"Easy, Minate, you need to calm down. I promise we're going to get out of this and blast those villains out of the water." Izuku promised strongly.
That's when he suddenly got an idea in his head, a plan that could work on all of these villains at once and for them to get out of the Shipwreck Zone all in one piece, but the plan will have to do now since they only have less than a minute until fully submerge.
"We're fish food!" Minoru feared death is going to claim his soul at any second.
"So Mineta, are you really sure the hero thing is right for you?" Tsuyu asked looking calm despite the dangerous situation she and the two boys are in right now.
"Shut up! It's weirder not to be scared right now!" Minoru snapped at the frog girl.
"We just got outta junior high a little while go! I didn't think I'd be facing death a few days after starting UA! I can't believe I'm gonna die without ever getting to touch Yaoyorozu's boobs!" Minoru screamed, fearing that he'll never get to be a hero and get with the ladies.
"Listen up." Izuku said a little loud and strong which got Minoru's attention.
"An enemy that's certain of their victory is bond to make a mistake. All Might said something along those lines in a TV interview a while back." Izuku recalled those words when watching All Might.
"What does that mean?" Minoru asked, not getting any of that until he became shocked of seeing Izuku's hand shaking in fear.
"There was also something else Medaka told me as well." Izuku mentioned as he remembered the words his girlfriend told him, the time before they became a couple.
(Flashback)
"You're going along great in the training, Izuku. You'll definitely clean up this beach days before the exam!" Medaka believed with a smile.
"You really think so? I think I'm getting it done by then it's probably due to your help." Izuku stated.
"Oh, Izuku!" Medaka giggled and pulls Izuku for a hug causing him to blush like crazy.
"Tell, are you afraid of how things will turn out during the entrance exam or perhaps of another villain attack?" Medaka asked.
"Why do you want to know something like that?" Izuku puzzled of the question.
"Because it's okay to be afraid even when things look bad, it's part of our human being and we can also use that fear to make us stronger. Overcoming the fear to help us move forward." Medaka said deeply while looking toward the horizon.
Izuku becomes amazes of how well thought out and calm Medaka said those lines.
(Flashback End)
"And she is right." Izuku said while looking down at the villains.
"Now is the time to make the fears we are feeling right now into strength, to show them we are the heroes who will beat them. Plus Ultra!" Izuku chanted the two famous words.
This struck both Tsuyu and Minoru of hearing such strong words coming from the guy who likes to be called Deku for some reason, and now feeling they can fight these villains.
"If you two are ready, then here's the plan." Izuku kneeled down to his two classmates to tell them his plan to defeat these villains.
The villains are waiting for the kids to sink into the water even though some are a little worry about what they can do with their Quirks, but they still have the number advantage and the water on their side.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH?!" Izuku screamed at the top of his lungs.
Izuku starts to channel One for All to his legs to make himself jump higher with the 5% power increase and aim his left hand down at the villains.
"(Even if I use a Smash, I can't get them all at once when they're in a circle like that. Besides, there are still other enemies outside of the Shipwreck Zone, so I can't sacrifice my arm just yet.)" Izuku thought as he decided to go 100% with his fingers.
"Ready, Mineta?" Tsuyu asked, holding Minoru in one arm.
"(Even though he's as scared as I am… even though he's shaking… He said it's okay to be afraid and to use fear into strength.)" Minoru thought whimpered.
"Delaware Smash!" Izuku unleashed a powerful wind blast at the water that push the villains away.
"Tsu, Mineta, now!" Izuku shouted.
Right on cue, Tsuyu jumps from the boat grabbing Izuku with her tongue while soaring far.
"(What the heck, Midoriay? How do you do it?)" Minoru thought asked, clutching his fists.
"(You're acting so cool, and I'm not helping at all.)" Minoru thought decided to do something.
"Take this, you villains! You can eat my sticky balls!" Minoru shouted while throwing lots and lots of his sticky balls down.
Soon, the water starts going into the spot where Izuku attacked dragging the villains as the sticky balls are going onto them.
"If a strong force is applied to water's surface, the water will be pushed away, and then come rushing right back to the middle." Izuku explained the little science of this.
The villains are now trap together because of the sticky balls and blasted right into the air.
"We rounded them all up, not too shabby. You guys are amazing, both of you." Tsuyu complimented.
"I guess we passed the Shipwreck Zone." Tsuyu said.
(With Medaka)
Medaka dodges another attack from the Nomu landing on both feet and still healthy strong like a horse.
"Hmm, I think I just figured out the power of this Nomu now." Medaka said that Tomura was able to hear.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Looks like Izuku has shown to be much braver than he was in the anime and taking Medaka's advice on taking the fear into strength, and now Medaka says she has just figured out something about the Nomu which could mean the tide may turn in her favor.
And there is also another "villain" who will appear at the battle of Medaka vs Nomu.
