Lunch Talk with Number 1 Hero Dad

When the bell rang and Cementoss left to go out for his own lunch, the students of Class 1-A decided to have a chat with each other about the upcoming sports festival and how excited they are for this.

"Man! Oh man, I'm so pumped for these games!" Eijiro excitedly with his fist tightened.

"We put on a good show, and we're basically on the road to being pros!" Hanta said smiling.

"Yeah, this is why I'm even here in the first place." Rikido revealed as he pounds his fist into his hand.

"We get so few chances. We have to make the most of this." Fumikage advised.

"Oh man, Ojiro, I'm getting kind of nervous about the festival!" Toru squealed standing in front of the tail boy.

"I have to come up with a way to get noticed! Maybe with a cheer!" Toru suggested on that.

"Uh, sure… Maybe you should be looking at a shinier costume or something? Otherwise, you're gonna have to try really hard." Mashirao advised, worried for the invisible girl.

"My, what's a boy to do? I stand out even when I'm standing still. That means the scouts won't be able to take their eyes off me!" Yuga bragged at Koji who was very shy to respond to this.

"Don't you agree?" Yuga asked, leaning closer to Koji who just nod nervously.

"You're so lucky, Shoji. People are bound to notice your unique Quirk." Denki pointed out how cool Mezo is.

"Sure, but what matters is that I show them how useful I can be." Mezo stated.

"No doubt, you'll make a scene too." Kyoka mocked, imaging Denki's stupid face of using his Quirk too much. But Denki isn't bothered by the insult because he is feeling more confident in himself.

"Mogana, are you feeling excited for the festival because I sure am!" Zenkichi grinned.

"Of course, I have to show everyone that I have the capability and willpower to be a hero." Mogana nodded.

"Just be sure not to let all of the confident go over your head, otherwise you might end up failing too soon." Hansode advised.

"Wow! This is gonna be nuts with everyone so excited." Izuku noticed how everyone is being right now.

"Well yeah, of course, we are. We enrolled at this school with the sole aim of becoming heroes. So naturally, we're all getting fired up." Tenya said while moving his arms and hips.

"But not to worry, beloved. I know you're quite nervous about competing in your first sports festival, so just try to relax and you'll be good to go." Medaka smiled while doing the same movements as Tenya is.

"Why are you even doing that with Iida?" Izuku asked with a sweat drop.

"Deku! Iida! Medaka!" Ochaco talked in a deep tone.

The couple of Class 1-A and Tenya turn to their friend only to become shocked of how suddenly Ochaco look very fierce like a predator animal or a mighty warrior on the battlefield out for some blood while being surrounded by a fierce dark pink aura.

"Let's do our best in the sports festival." Ochaco said deeply again.

"Ochaco, what happened to your face?" Izuku asked, feeling a bit scared.

"Seriously, what's up? You're normally, like, the most laid-back girl ever." Mina asked, wondering what has gotten into this girl.

Minoru was about to say something perverted and gross, so Tsuyu slapped him on the face with her tongue to stop that from happening, and his head was stomped by Mogana just to be extra sure.

"My, my, it would appear that Ochaco has pulled a mental switch in her mind." Medaka commented.

"From what, to madness?" Momo worried for her classmate.

""Everyone! I'm gonn do my best!" Ochaco shouted with her fist in the air and determination, this got the four classmates to cheer "Yeah" for her.

Then Ochaco turn to the other classmates with the same fierce look.

"I said, I'm gonna do my best!" Ochaco shouted which got the boys to nervously raise their fists too.

"You okay? You kinda look like you're losin' it." Eijiro asked concern.

"Should we be worried and send her to Recovery Girl?" Izuku asked his girlfriend.

"No, I believe Ochaco is getting herself hype up for the UA Sports Festival and want to look fierce ready as much as she can." Medaka believed.

"If you say so." Izuku looked at Ochaco again, yelling at a few of her classmates again.

And then there is a question that pops into his head about something and the question is direct to Ochaco.

"Hey, Ochaco?" Izuku said. He and the others are walking together through the hallway to the cafeteria.

"What's up?" Ochaco responded.

"Why did you decide to come to UA? What made you wanna be a pro hero?" Izuku asked the question. This causes Ochaco to flinch a bit and her cheeks blush a tiny bit.

"Oh, I don't think I ever got around to asking you that myself. Now I want to know as well." Medaka said and Tenya is also curious about this as well.

"I hope you don't mind, but I wanna know too. Ribbit." Tsuyu said, walking into the conversation.

"Oh, well, you see, the reason I wanna become a hero is that…" Ochaco paused for a second or two just to keep herself calm.

And then Ochaco spoke her answer, and everyone is shock to hear what she just said.

"F… For the money? You wanna be a hero so you can get rich?" Izuku surprised to hear that coming from such a nice girl like Ochaco.

"If we're cutting to the chase, then yeah." Ochaco said, rubbing the back of her head.

"Sounds like someone's being greedy." Tsuyu commented bluntly.

"I'm sorry about that! You three have such admirable motivations. I hope you don't think less of me now." Ochaco felt ashamed of having good friends while being greedy for some cash.

"It's fine, focusing on yourself when it comes to being a Pro Hero and other things that you will need to take care of yourself is important." Medaka stated.

"She is correct. Your goal is to support your wellbeing which is a perfectly admirable ambition to have." Tenya pointed out that some have to look out for themselves.

"Yeah, it just kind of surprising." Izuku nodded.

"Now, why don't you give us more details about this money goal of yours because I can tell that the money you want to gain isn't all for you, is it?" Medaka asked.

"What's this I hear about money?" Zenkichi asked, entering the scene.

"Ochaco's reason for becoming a hero. I believe it has a deeper meaning to it." Medaka answered.

"You're right, there's more than just simply wanting money." Ochaco nodded and begins to explain.

"Well, you see, my family owns a construction company, but we haven't gotten any work lately, so we're flat broke. Anyway, this isn't really something I usually tell other people, but…" Ochaco explained the reason for her goal.

"Construction, eh?" Tenya does some thinking on this.

"Maybe business isn't doing so well because some people aren't hiring her family's company making business really slow." Zenkichi guessed.

"Maybe, but it would be better when she becomes a hero." Tsuyu said.

"If she got licensed, I bet she could use her Quirk to bring costs down a lot." Izuku figured that out.

"And they could sell their heavy-lifting equipment. She could float everything." Tenya added this.

"I know, right? I've been telling Dad that since I was a kid! But… But he…" Ochaco said, glad to see her friends agreeing with her, but then she looks sad as she remembers back when she told her parents about her goal.

(Flashback)

"You want to work for us?" Ochaco's dad asked surprise.

"When I grow up all big and strong, I'll help you and Mommy out any way that I can." Little Ochaco expressed her goal for her parents with tears on the verge of coming down.

Ochaco's dad smile that his daughter wants to help them that much.

"I really appreciate the thought, Ochaco. But as your dad, I'd be even happier if you achieved your dream. That's the way to make us happy and if you do make money, you can take us to Hawaii or something!" Ochaco's Dad smiled.

"Daddy…" Ochaco clutched onto her skirt.

(Flashback End)

"I'm gonna become a hero. I'll sign with a good agency and make plenty of money. Then I'll be able to let my parents have an easy life!" Ochaco determined to see this goal through to the end.

"Oh… Ochaco!" Medaka burst into tears and immediately ran up to hug Ochaco, surprising the gravity Quirk girl.

"Oh, beautiful! How noble! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!" Tenya clapped his hands, mood by Ochaco's noble goal.

"I have to say, Ochaco. You really have a bigger heart than I thought." Tsuyu smiled proudly for her friend.

"(Maybe I should think about getting my mom something after school today.)" Zenkichi thought decided to go a little shopping for his mom.

"(She's not here because of some hero fantasy. She's more grounded than any of us.)" Izuku thought amazed of how amazing Ochaco of caring for others.

"I am so proud that you have decided to become a hero and come to this school!" Medaka smiled sobbing and stroking Ochaco's hair with her face onto her big breasts.

"No need for the dramatic emotions." Ochaco giggled.

Come, let us go get ourselves a big lunch for Ochaco!" Medaka declared.

But before the group of friends could continue walking for the cafeteria, a certain big-time hero came in.

"My daughter and Young Midoriya are here!" All Might announced, arriving in the scene surprising the students except for Medaka.

"Hello father, is there anything you need from us?" Medaka asked.

"Lunch! Ya wanna eat with me?"All Might asked, holding up his box lunch.

"That's adorable!" Ochaco gasped at the scene.

"My father tries his best." Medaka said.

"Looks like we have other plans for lunch today. Catch you guys later." Medaka said as she walks with Izuku to follow her adopted father.

(Cafeteria)

As usual, the cafeteria is packed with students from the Hero course and other courses too, Ochaco and the others are waiting in line while talking about a certain subject.

"I wonder what he wanted with Medaka and Izuku." Ochaco asked, feeling very curious about the Number 1 Hero wanted to have a lunch date with Izuku and Medaka.

"Medaka, I can understand since All Might adopted her since the death of her family and have become really close to each other. But Izuku is another story, I heard they met sometime around ten months ago the UA entrance exam." Zenkichi said.

"Really, did they also train together? Ribbit." Tsuyu asked.

"Yeah, she was able to help prepare Izuku the best she could." Zenkichi nodded.

"You know, this reminds me of that time when we rode the bus to USJ, when I asked about Izuku's Quirk being similar to All Might's Quirk." Tsuyu mentioned.

"Oh yeah, I remember that question and it's still quite a surprise that Izuku is really that much of a late bloomer." Zenkichi said.

"I wonder if Medaka is gonna ask her dad for some training for Izuku to control his power better." Ochaco said.

Shoto who is a few feet in front of the group within the line overheard the conversation with how All Might is having lunch with Izuku and Leo right now.

"(All Might with Midoriya?)" Shoto thought wondered what could be going on with them. Sure, he knows about Izuku and Medaka dating, but he has been very curious about other things between them.

(Teachers' Lounge)

"Your time has gone down again?!" Izuku was shocked to hear what All Might said while Medaka looked worry.

"Yeah, I think I have about a little over two hours, but it looks like the power I have is slowly leaving me." Toshinori said while making some tea.

"Even when you didn't fight the Nomu, you're still getting weaker and weaker. Now you'll have less time being All Might." Medaka pointed out.

"Yeah, I have to be extra careful from now on." Toshinori nodded.

"I'm really sorry that happened to you." Izuku apologized, and the Toshinori suddenly laughs while blood was coming out of his mouth.

"Man, you and I really are alike. There's no need to apologize." Toshinori said.

"Well, I guess it would be a good time to have lunch together since we could all use some peace of mind and discus about Izuku's progress on controlling One for All." Medaka placed down her pack of special lunchbox on the coffee table.

"Oh yeah, how are you doing with that, kid?" Toshinori asked Izuku.

"It's been going great, 5% is definitely getting more like it was my normal strength and I'm starting to go up a little probably about 6% and a little more." Izuku explained with smile.

"Oh, then we'll need to get you into lifting heavier weights and may also need to work on your agility too." Medaka suggested.

While Toshinori is glad to see his adopted daughter and successor are getting into the training and supporting each other, he knew there is a serious talk he needs to address them about.

Toshinori started to look serious with a certain thought in his mind and knows that it'll only be a matter of time.

"To be frank, I don't have much time left as the world's Symbol of Peace. Soon, I'll have to put that title to bed." Toshinori stated, getting up and looking out through the window staring at the city.

"No way…" Izuku muttered, fearing that what his mentor said is the truth.

"I feared you would bring that up, with your power getting weaker now and there's no doubt some of the villains have notice this as well." Medaka concerned.

"That's right, meaning someone will have to step in for me a little sooner than expected." Toshinori nodded and turns to Izuku.

"Young Midoriya, I gave you my power for one reason: Cause you will be the hero who takes my place." Toshinori said strongly, looking back on the words Izuku said to him during their ten months of training for the UA entrance exam.

(Flashback)

Izuku is laying on the ground with Toshinori looking over him, the boy clutching his fingers on the dirt of the ground.

"I want to be the greatest hero in the world! I want to save people just like you do. When they see my fearless smile, they'll feel safe." Izuku declared, determined to become that very hero.

(Flashback End)

"Do you still feel the same way you did when we met? Do you still wanna be a hero?" Toshinori asked.

"Yes!" Izuku nodded with strength in his eyes.

"Medaka, I want you to be the best hero you can be even though you may not want to be the number one hero because you just wanna help people." Toshinori said to Medaka.

"Of course, it is what you taught me over the years." Medaka nodded with a strong smile.

"Excellent. The time has come for you to prove it." Toshinori said, proud to see them on board.

"This sports festival: it's something that pros—no, the entire country will be watching very closely." Toshinori mentioned, making Izuku feel a little intense.

"I want you two to think of this sports festival as your debut. You are the fledgling Symbol of Peace. The next All Might as duet!" Toshinori believed.

Izuku was starting to feel the pressure from his mentor knowing that being the next big hero of the world is going to be a lot more intense than he prepared himself for, and Medaka is also feeling the pressure though she is feeling calm and stood her ground almost the gravity of the pressure doesn't affect her.

"I want you to introduce yourselves to the world and proudly say "I am here!" Toshinori instructed.

"Of course, father! We will show the world just what kind of heroes we aim to be, and we'll be sure to give it all of our might! The festival is divided by the years of the students, the course classes will be put in their same events, and I have a strong feeling that everyone is going to go all out in this festival too!" Medaka smirked.

"Izuku, let use this festival t go Plus Ultra!" Medaka smiled.

"Yeah! Plus Ultra!" Izuku shouted with one fist in the air.

"Nice." Toshinori nodded with a smile.

Medaka and Izuku were brought into the Teacher Longue to have a talk with All Might about his time as the hero is coming to an end soon, and he task both of them to make their own debut in the UA Sports Festival for all to see their heroic spirit in action!
