Spark of Rivalry from Other Class Courses
"Now, let us talk about the UA Sports Festival on what we already know. Izuku, if you would?" Medaka requested that Izuku gives the explanation.
"Of course." Izuku nodded.
"Students are separated by class year, and then the support, business, general studies, and hero courses all fight against each other in a bunch of preliminary trials. Whoever makes it through the initial games faces off in the finals. It's basically a big round-robin tournament." Izuku explained.
"Right! Meaning, you'll have plenty of opportunities to sell yourself." Toshinori said.
"I guess." Izuku said as he starts to look nervous, thinking about everything like the whole world is riding on his shoulders.
"It's okay to feel nervous, my beloved. Some people feel the same way when there's something big going to happen and they feel like something could go wrong, but I can promise you that you're going to do great with everything that you have learned." Medaka believed.
"If you really think so, then I'll try to do my best." Izuku smiled at his girlfriend and they share a kiss for a second.
"Some heroes always aim for the top, while others happily settle. The difference between those two mindsets has a big impact on how far you go in the real world." Toshinori stated.
"I understand you feel about doubting yourself a little. I may be projecting a bit of myself onto you. However, I hope you haven't forgotten the emotions you felt back at the beach during our training." Toshinori said, he got himself back up.
"Don't worry, I won't forget." Izuku promised.
"It will also be a nice festival since the villains won't attack UA again like what they did in USJ." Medaka clapped her hands together.
"How do you know the villains won't be coming after us again?" Izuku asked.
"Because from what I learned in their last attack. They took a long time to make that Nomu to have the same strength as my father along with the healing and regeneration Quirk to make it a difficult battle to tire him out and go for the kill. Since that was their main has ended with me defeating Nomu, they're gonna lay low for quite some time." Medaka explained thoughts on the villains.
"She's right, those villains have been hit hard and it's gonna be a while for them to recover and get other new recruits. So, we should have enough time to get you guys stronger." Toshinori nodded.
"And if they happen to have something that could be dangerous, then we'll just have to push ourselves. Plus Ultra." Medaka smiled.
Izuku started to feel more confident from her words knowing that good would always trumpet over evil no matter what they try to throw at them, he believes that he and Medaka and those within UA High will be able to handle the future should the villains attack.
(Later, Final Bell)
The final bell has rung which means school is over for the day and all of the students can go home to enjoy their day, and those in the Hero Courses will also be using that time and all of the other times to train themselves as hard as they can for the UA Sports Festival.
But right now, there is one problem standing in the way for Class 1-A to leave their classroom.
"U-Um, why the heck are all you here?" Ochaco asked gasping at the dozens of UA first year students standing in front of 1-A door.
"Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" Tenya asked.
"Why are you blocking our doorway? I won't let you hold us hostage!" Minoru asked.
"I'm suddenly feeling nervous that they could be asking us for our autograph." Mogana blushed a little, didn't think she would be that much of a celebrity
"I don't think it's about autographs." Zenkichi noticed the odd looks on their faces.
"These idiots are only here to scout out the competition. We're the class that survived a real villain attack, they wanna see us with our own eyes." Katsuki pointed out as he walks up to the crowd of students.
"Yes, I thought something like this might happen with the students from other classes being curious about the class that survived the villain attack." Medaka said.
"They just wanna look at the future pros then they can go on ahead. Not like I care how people like these extras thinks about me." Katsuki stated as he looks at the students.
"You can't walk around calling people "extras" just because you don't know who they are!" Tenya scolded with the others panicking as well.
"So, this is Class 1-A. I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass." One purple hair student said pushing through to the front.
"How sad to come here and find a bunch of ego maniacs." The purple hair guy commented, not impress with Class 1-A so far.
"Katsuki Bakugo may give off the impression that he's a raging beast who can't be tame and explodes with both hands and mouth, but he's well behaved like a puppy." Medaka patted Katsuki's head not minding the angry glare.
"Fuck off!" Katsuki smacked Medaka away in rage.
"You know, it's hard to believe that the daughter of All Might would be friends with someone who is a maniac with a bad ego. I can't tell if you're either stupid or brave." The purple hair boy commented.
"That's just who I am. Being friends and helping other people." Medaka said.
"I wanted to be in the hero course, but like many others here, I was forced to choose a different track. Such as life. I didn't make the cut the first time around, but I have another chance." The purple hair boy said.
"Ah, you mean about how the UA Sports Festival can help get you into the hero course." Medaka knew what this guy was saying.
"Hold on, what are you talking about?" Izuku asked.
And that's when Hansode steps in and spoke.
"As you all already know, the UA Sports Festival is a way for the Hero Course students to get themselves spotted by heroes and other factions such as the Support Gear companies, but that very same thing can also be said about the other Course students like the General Studies. If even one or two of them do well enough in the festival, then they can be transferred into the Hero Course, but that would also mean that they would have to transfer the students out of the Hero Course to make room." Hansode explained which shocks most of Class 1-A.
"(Shit, it's really that serious? No wonder my mom always told me to be careful and not slacking off in this school.)" Zenkichi thought realized his mom's warnings.
"Did she get all of that right, Hitoshi Shinso?" Medaka asked.
"She did, right on the mark. And I'm surprise you even know my name when I haven't said anything." Hitoshi answered.
Hitoshi is a fairly tall young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head and notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, and are thin and somewhat triangular in shape, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're usually half-closed, and he has very dark eye bags underneath them. He wears the male UA High student uniform.
"Well, I planned on becoming this school's Student Council President in my second year of high school. So, I learned all the names of every student here, their classes and such." Medaka revealed.
"How'd you manage to do that?" Izuku asked in shock.
"I ask Principal Nezu for the names in return for helping him with filling out some paperwork and making him some of his favorite tea." Medaka answered.
"You really went through all that trouble just to learn our names?" Hitoshi asked in surprise though his expression slightly changed.
"My father taught me to do whatever I can to help others even when I'm not wanted, that's one of the many things on being a hero." Medaka said what Toshinori told her.
"But at the same time, I also believe that any strong heroes wouldn't be able to get where they are now with some help from their friends and such. Which is why I want to become the kind of hero help bring everyone together for them to back action themselves." Medaka said with passion.
Suddenly everyone started to flinch at the sight of Medaka after that strong yet peaceful speech about her reason to become a hero. On the outside nothing really happens, but to everyone around her it's like she is radiating a powerful light from her body.
"What the fuck is this? It's like all of the bad feelings I had have been washed away." Hitoshi felt something strange.
"Wow, she's so bright!" Mina smiled.
"Too bright if you ask me." Fumikage groaned a bit.
"(Shit, this was not what I was expecting of these guys, especially with Medaka Yagi here.)" Hitoshi thought had hoped to declare his war on Class 1-A, but that might not be the case.
"You! Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu from Class 1-B, you came over to see if we really fought some villains, have you?" Medaka pointed at one student behind the crowd.
"Oh shit, how'd you know?" Tetsutetsu asked in shock.
Tetsutetsu is a young man with chin-length, messy gray hair, which is rather peculiar in that it never seems to change shape, and black eyes that are tilted dramatically inwards, each lined with a very thick, jagged, tan-colored substance, presumably his eyelashes. He also has rows of sharp, pointed teeth. He wears the UA High school uniform for the boys.
"Let me tell you from personal experience. It was a nightmare for most of us, none of us expected to be attack and were quite scared, but we couldn't be afraid forever and had to do our very best to survive." Medaka stated.
"I was in a troubling situation with one of the villains, but I was able to beat that villain and forced those villains to retreat since they couldn't do anything." Medaka looked at her hand.
"It was an experience that none of us were supposed to get until later in our school years here, but life can be cruel like that." Medaka said.
"So, if you truly wish to see how strong we are from the villain attack, then wait for us at the UA Sports Festival and you shall have your answer. But more than that, I want to see you all give this festival your 100% and above that!" Medaka declared with confidence.
"That is all I have to say. Thank you for listening." Medaka bowed.
"Come on, Izuku. Let's go get ourselves some ice-cream." Medaka said to her boyfriend as she walks away and Izuku quickly follows her.
"I swear, I'm going to surpass that bitch and All Might. That's the only thing that's important to me, that goes beating you extras in the festival." Katsuki was determined as he leaves as well.
"I hate that that was such a manly speech and exit." Eijiro growled, feeling a bit proud of how manly Medaka was right now.
"You said it." Rikido agreed.
"And it's like Bakguo said, we have to beat them, he wasn't wrong." Fumikage stated.
"But even so, we'll have to be careful with some of these students gunning for us. They too have the goal of wanting to become heroes." Zenkichi pointed out.
"Let's hope they don't do anything dramatic." Mogana hoped.
Izuku turns his head to see Katsuki that the way he walked off wasn't the usual shouting and bragging like he used to, and he also remembers something important from days ago too.
(Flashback)
"Enjoy that win, Deku. You won't get another. I'm just getting started! Got that?!" Katsuki showed his eyes bursting with rage and tears coming out too.
"I'm gonna end up the Number 1 Hero, no matter what?!" Katsuki shouted with determination.
(Flashback End)
Izuku can tell that a lot of people around him like Ochaco, Tenya, and no doubt his other classmates have their own determination plan to become heroes. He feels so inspired by everyone that he is really going to do his very best
"Ah, it would seem I'll be able to meet you after all." A girl walked up to them.
"Oh, hello! Were we in your way?" Izuku jumped a little in shock.
"No, I just wanted to have a small chat with Medaka Yagi here." The girl said.
"Why, I am honor to meet with the Student Council President of UA High, Fue Yobuko." Medaka was surprised, feeling like she's not dress well enough.
"Wait, she's our Student Council President!?" Izuku gasped. He really didn't expect to meet someone as important as the Student Council President anytime soon.
"I am, and I'm also honored that the number one student of UA and daughter of the Symbol of Peace knows my name." Fue nodded as she straightens her glasses a little.
Fue Yobuko has waist-length, light brown hair and brown eyes behind red framed glasses. She wears the female school uniform of UA High. Breasts size: HH-cup.
"Is there anything you need from me?" Medaka asked.
"Yes, I was wondering if you would ask you a few questions regarding the USJ attack. More specifically, about the two female young villains you encountered before they escape." Fue revealed.
"I know this was to be investigated by the Pro Heroes and the police, but I wanted to confirm something such as their real names and not the ones they used as alias." Fue said.
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know anything else about them. But one of them did spoke another's name, Naze." Medaka mentioned.
"Actually, I think there was something else about her that seem to be connected to you, but maybe it's just me." Izuku said.
"Go on." Fue said to Izuku.
"Well, from how this Naze girl was looking at Medaka and how she even spoke to her, it was almost like she knew Medaka for a long time. Almost like they grew up together." Izuku shared his theory on that bandaged face girl.
"Are you sure you don't remember someone like her, Medaka?" Izuku asked.
"I'm afraid not. I don't have any memories of knowing that girl." Medaka shook her head.
"I see, then would you also know about the Nomu. A being with two Quirks is unheard of, and it was more shocking that it was man-made." Fue mentioned Nomu.
"Yes, that monster was quite strong. I may have an idea on how it was created, but I will need to speak with my father just to be sure." Medaka said.
"I see, then I have no more questions. You may continue with your dad, and I hope to hear great things about you in the UA Sports Festival." Fue said before walking away.
"Wow, so that was the Student Council President. She was calm, beautiful, and feels like someone who respect the rules more than anything." Izuku complimented about Fue.
"Yes, and just you wait, I'm going to be the one who will take the seat of Student Council President and help make this school even better!" Medaka smirked.
"I know, you will." Izuku smiled.
"Izuku, I was thinking that you should do training on your own. Once the festival begins, you and me and the rest of our classmates will become rivals who want to reach the top. I want you to get stronger and show everyone what you can do!" Medaka suggested.
"You got it!" Izuku nodded, understanding this.
And so, everyone in Class 1-A has begun their training for the next two weeks for the UA Sports festival with each of them doing their own training sessions to get stronger.
Medaka is running through a private training course owned by All Might's agency while pulling four tour buses that each is filled with a 1000-pound steel block.
Izuku is doing some squats while having some of his heavy weights in each hand as he is working on strengthening his legs and after that, he would do the same weight training with his arms.
Tenya is running fast through the gym court outside of UA to push his Engine Quirk through the limit.
Zenkichi is wearing heavy weights on his arms to help with the speed to make them move faster and swiftly too.
Mogana is standing in front of a pool as she took a deep breath and unleashed her Loud Voice Quirk to make the waves go up.
Hansode is having herself some tasty snacks for a little relaxation before turning her head to the obstacle course in her backyard, her grandpa walks over to her with a smile.
Tsuyu is swimming fast in the pool while chasing a toy fish until she caught it with her tongue and jumps out of the pool.
Ochaco and Mina are training together with the former using her Gravity Quirk to make some debris float and Mina melting them in half with her Acid Quirk. Yuga makes a surprise with his Naval Laser, impressing the girls only for a piece of the derby to fall on his head which hurts.
Mezo is lifting heavy weights using his Dupli-Arms to make his arms stronger together.
Toru is really struggling with doing some pullups though she wouldn't let herself stop as she needs to get stronger like the others.
Denki is trying to make his electricity stronger while making the downside lower that he doesn't have to make that stupid face anymore.
Fumikage is training at night and having lots of bright lights on to help strengthen Dark Shadow to move well within the light even though it's painful to him.
Koji is having a peaceful moment with some small animals like birds and squirrels and a couple of bunnies, but they ran away when Rikido pumped himself up with his Sugar Rush Quirk practicing his punches.
Kyoka is twirling one dart on each of her Earphone Jack and threw them right at the dart board with one of them very close to the center.
Minoru is holding a trophy he won for something and practicing for his speech believing that he might win.
Momo is reading through a large book of encyclopedia and other super smart stuff to get herself memorizing this stuff so that she can be ready to use her Creation Quirk. And doing squats at the same time.
Mashirao is jumping from one rooftop of the buildings within the fake city in UA schoolground, using his Tail to jump high and to make it stronger too. Within that same fake city is Hanta using his Tape Quirk to latch onto things and swings around like Spider-Man.
Eijiro jumps from the high point of a building and hardens his arms along with his body to crash land on the ground and come out okay.
Katsuki is training within the forest area with his Explosion blowing some trees away, and he's not stopping until he is absolutely sure that he will win the Sports Festival.
Shoto is training his physical body with some combat moves such as punches and kicks until he lets out a sigh telling himself that's enough for the night.

Everything is all set up for the upcoming UA Sports Festival where all of the UA students from all years are going to compete and show them what kind of future heroes they are, and I bet that Medaka is the one more excited to see how well everyone is gonna do once the festival starts.
