The duel between the protective older brother Shay and his brainwashed little sister Lulu raged on the tower, they both knew each other deck's as expected and it was a clutch game.
"So Lulu's deck is based on Rank 1 Winged Beast Xyz type monsters, uh?" Yuya noticed.
"It looks like so, and that Xyz monster in particular is very strong, being able to attack directly over the opponent's monster a number of times equal to its Xyz materials" Said Celina, impressed by Assembled Nightingale's abilities.
"Yeah, even with their low attack stat having to deal with so many attacks can be really difficult" Kite added.
"I know everyone of your moves sis, this won't work against me!" Shay said confindently.
"What about this then? I activate the Spell Card Polymerization!" Lulu announced with an evil grin.
"A Fusion Summon? This must be Duel Academy's doing..." Shay trembled with rage in seeing that card.
"The Lulu I know would never do that..." Yuto thought sadly.
"I fuse my Assembled Nightingale and a Lyrilusc monster from my hand to create a new flying beast! Come forth, Lyrilusc Independ Nightingale!" She said as her new boss monster came to life.
"If she is summoned with an Xyz monster as Fusion material, her level increase by the rank of that monster, so she gain an additional level becoming 2, and she also gets 500 more attack for each level, this brings her to 2000 attack points" The beast powered itself even more.
"And it's not all, once per turn I can deal effect damage equal her level multiplied to 500, say goodbye to 1000 LP bro!" She smirked.
The shockwave blown Shay directly dropping its LP to 1000, also pushing him back.
"And now, attack his Vanishing Lanius!" She commanded dealing 700 more damage over Shay's 1300's attack monster.
"There must be a way to wake her up from their control..." Yuya said.
"Maybe trying to make her remember something from her past?" Celina proposed.
"That might be a great idea!" Yuto agreed.
"Shay, try to reach for your sister, tell her something only you and her can know!" Yuya called for him.
"I'll try... Lulu, do you remember when we all dueled together as little kids, me, you and Yuto? You could have not forgotten, we were so happy then" Shay tried to get back his sister.
Lulu's gaze was toughtful for a moment, it looked like it was working, she quickly then grabbed her head in pain.
"I don't want to hurt you Shay, please end this duel once and for all." She said before her dark side took over again.
"This is the real me, shut up you weakling!" Her evil smirk was back.
"It was working, maybe defeating her now will be enough to exerminate that disgusting parasite!" Celina suggested.
"I'm on it! My turn now, I draw!" Shay said and smiled seeing the card he drew.
"I activate my spell, Rank Up Magic Soul Shave Force, which lets me special Summon my Rairaptor Rise Falcon from the graveyard, and then by paying half of my LP, I can summon a Raidraptor one rank higher using Rise Falcon as material, so now I call the Rank 5 Raidraptor Blaze Falcon!" The red winged beast appeared beside his master.
"Still, my monster is immune to your destruction effects and has more attack points" The dark side said.
"You fool, my brother always has an action plan" Lulu's good side knew what was coming.
"You probably also forgot Blaze Falcon can attack you directly sis, and you only have 1000 LP remaining" Shay got this.
"WHAT? NO!" The evil screamed angrily.
"Blaze Falcon, attack her directly, and bring me my sister back! Blaze destruction!" Shay commanded.
The strong heatwave blowed her away dropping her LP to 0, and soon all came near her.
"Lulu, please, tell me you are okay!" Shay pleaded shooking her gently.
Just then an insect came out from her hear, it was the Fusion Parasite, trying to make a run for it, but Celina quickly intercepted it blocking its path with her boots.
"You are not going to cause us anymore problems" She said before stomping on it.
"She should be free now right?" Yuya asked.
"I think so" Celina answered before Lulu slowly opened her eyes.
"Shay, Kite and all of you, thanks for saving me!" She said nearly crying of happiness.
"Lulu! It's so good to have you back!" Shay hugged his sister.
"It's only right you have your happy reunion, but our mission is not over!" Celina reminded.
"This girl is so similar to me..." Lulu tought to herself.
"Right, we should head to the other tower and see how Yugo is doing" Yuya said.
They soon were running towards the other tower where at the beginning of the stairs an other duel was raging.
Yugo, just like Shay was also surprised because Rin could use Fusion summoning too and was at disadvantage at the moment.
"Ready to give up?" Said Rin with an evil grin.
"You should know I never give up!" Yugo announced before raising to his feet after reveaving an attack from her new monster, Windwitch Crystal Bell.
He noticed the group was then arrived on the scene.
"Other two RinRin there?" Yugo said seeing Celina and Lulu.
"I'm Celina, you idiot, and she is Lulu" Celina said with a vein popped on her head.
"Oh, yeah, sorry about that, you look so similar!" Yugo scratched his head.
"Don't tell me you are losing now after you defeated me?" Celina said trying to reignite his passion.
"Just a little setback, just watch now how I end this!" Yugo drew his card.
"I summon Speedroid Double Yoyo, which lets me special summon the tuner monster Three-Eyed dice from the graveyard, I now tune them together to create my Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" He called his Dragon on the field.
"And I'm not done, I activate my spell, Speed Recovery, which lets me special summon Red-eyed dice from the graveyard, I tune them again to create my most powerful card, Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon!" He called his boss monster.
"Try to make her remember you, Yugo!" Yuya shouted.
"You have to reach for the real Rin and break the enemy's control on her" Celina added.
"Ok... you remember this Rin? Crystal Wing was our hope to be free as commons!" Yugo tried to get to her.
Just as with Lulu for a moment the real Rin took control.
"Yugo... Help me..." Rin said grabbing her head.
"That's what I'm about to do!" Yugo said determined.
"Crystal Wing, attack her monster!" Yugo commanded.
"You may destroy her but I still have 3000 LP" Rin's evil side commented.
"She doesn't know... Yugo may be a little stupid but he's great duelist" Thoughts Rin's good side.
"I don't think so, Crystal wing gains attack equal to your monster when battling a level 5 or higher one, so it's game Rin!" Yugo explained.
Crystal's wind storm blowed her away dropping her LP to 0.
They quickly got to her side, Yugo tried to wake her.
"Please Rin..." He pleaded.
As with Lulu a parasite came out of her hear, Celina made quick work with this one too.
"And this one is done too" Celina smiled.
"Good job!" Yuya said.
"It was nothing but thanks" Celina answered with a little blush.
Then Rin finally woke up.
"Yugo and everyone, thanks, with all my heart!" Rin smiled.
"RINRIN" Yugo said in his usual silly fashion.
"Just don't go overboard now" Rin said before raising on her feet.
"So now that Lulu and Rin are safe and sound..." Yuya recapped.
"Only Zuzu is still missing but we'll find her" Celina concluded.
"Let's go!" Yuya sad as everyone went toward the central quarter of the Academy where we could hear a familiar voice.
"Looks like the intruders are coming here, better prepare to welcome them" It was Yuri and he was ready to add more victims to his list of beaten opponents.
