Chapter 1759 Songbird
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Zack and his group ran through a hallway as they had to face many of the splicers.
On Delta shoulders was another little sister as she smiles since they found her on the way.
"There Daddy!" She points at a body
They stopped near the body and let her get to work. Splicers came but they fight them off.
"How many more of them is there?" Yui wonders.
"It's a entire city." Zack said as he shoots them back.
"Yeah but the condition of this place makes me wonder if they have enough food." Yui said. "Those girls need to eat proper meals."
"I've seen food on the way. But it could be they're bodies might have mutated so much it changed most needs." Hank said.
"Like just needing ADAM to survive?" Zack questions.
"More like it affected they're need to eat as much. But that can be dangerous." Hank said.
"We need to save them all before its too late." Yui said.
"Too bad we don't have the power Delta has to do so." Hank said.
"Zack, I hope we can see each other soon." He heard Eleanor.
"I hope so too. Just wait a little longer." Zack said.
"Maybe we would get to know each other." He added.
"Sure since I can't really get out." Eleanor said.
He smiled at her.
They went to a manhole and Delta healed the little sister.
Then Mommy comes along on the other side and takes her to a safe place.
"Come to mommy."
The Little Girl hugs mommy.
The group went forward and saw a room, Hank finds a switch that opened a secret room with a door that's locked.
"That must be where that woman is." Hank said.
Delta peers into it.
He wipes the window and saw Grace sitting on her chair holding the key before she noticed them.
"I know what you came for." She said before the door opens.
"You once took that baby away from me. I was in charge of her but you hit me away when I tried to hold her, broke my jaw, well do it." She sets the key and goes to the side. "So do what you want you monsters."
They frowned before the group passed by her surprising Grace as they took what they needed before leaving.
"What are you doing? Come on you Goddamn monster?! Do what you always do"!" She shouts. "Come on!"
Hank looks at her. "When we told you we meant it. We are not here to bring chaos but peace. As I have learned. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no chaos; there is harmony."
"What does that mean?" She questions.
"It means he's in peace." Yui frowns. "Like why would you even follow her?! This is no family, this is a cult. The only reason she even got power was because Ryan died. I'll tell you What Sofia Lamb is, a coward that takes advantage of a chaos to be a figure head. If she actually cared about others she should have never turned those little girls into that things!"
Grace was surprised by Yui's words and thinks about them.
"So see ya." Zack saluted as they left the room.
They move back down through the hotel to head back to the train.
"You chose to spare me, no monster would have done that but a man." Grace voice is heard.
"I know that Dr. Lamb is no liar, but she's got to be wrong about you."
They kept going as more splicers arrived but drones came down to shoot at them.
"Looks like she is helping us." Hank said.
"It's the best I can do now. Be careful." She told them.
"Thank you." Kazuo said.
They kept going as Sinclair said: "You'll the better people than I would, not many wouldn't take revenge."
"It's hard to take revenge on someone brainwashed." Zack said.
They fought others before arriving at the train station again.
"Start the train." Yui said
They opened the gate with the key before going back to the train.
"Ready folks?" Sinclair asks.
They started the train and went off. They are getting close to Eleanor they just have to deal with others.
Back with Leonidas group
They arrived at the tower and exited the airship.
"So this is where they are keeping her." Leonidas said.
They went inside through the front door and looked around the place.
"Looking at the inside they must have spent a lot of money and materials to build this. Makes you wonder how they got all of this." Shiro said.
"They must have raided the world down." Draco said.
"I never heard about any raids." Booker said.
"They must have been sneeky then." Victor said.
They checked the rooms before Victor found a room with a chair and medical items.
"What the fuck is all this for?"
"In case she got hurt or maybe they were taking samples of her blood." Leonidas said.
Draco finds a projector that shows footage of Elizabeth as a child in her room.
"They were studying her."
"But for what?" Booker frowns.
"I think we'll see once we meet her." Draco said.
They continue on until they reach a part of the tower where they open something and sees her through a window! She was looking at them but she didn't look surprise or was actually looking at them.
"One way mirror." Leonidas figures out.
"That must be how they watch her without her knowing." Victor said.
She touches up her hair before leaving to go to the next room. They follow her and pulls another lever. They see her in front of a painting of the Eiffle Tower. She then puts her hands on it and makes a rift surprising them!
"How did she do that?!" Shiro said.
"Must be like the Second magic the Kaleidoscope." Leonidas said. "But instead of being magic or Magecraft it is a natural ability."
"What?" Booker said.
"Oh don't mind him." Victor then whispers to Leo. "Ixnay on the magic."
"Sorry I was fascinated by her ability." Leonidas whispers back. Then a car was coming towards the rift causing her to close it in a panic.
"That was close." Alex said.
"Yeah that was." Shiro said though he wonders if her power was similar to quirks.
She then goes to another room.
"Follow her." Draco said.
They do so and saw a sign saying Library so they go through the door.
They went up a staircase to go up but the moment they went to the platform it started to shake.
It then breaks causing them to fall down onto the floor below.
Leonidas grabs a railing and sees Elizabeth.
"Sorry about that." He said.
She screams making him fall as she starts to throws books at them.
They dodge the books.
"Please calm down. We're here to get you out of here." Leonidas said.
"Who are you?!" She lifts a book up.
"I am Leonidas." Leonidas said.
"Booker Dewit." Booker said.
"I am Alex." Alex said which surprises Elizabeth on how big in height and muscles he was.
"The names Victor."
"I'm Shiro."
"Aka."
"And i'm Draco."
"Why are you here?!" She demands.
"To get you out of here." Leonidas said.
She then gets closer raising a hand that a missing finger. "Are you really real?"
Leonidas touches her hand.
"If I wasn't real would you be feeling my touch?" Leonidas said.
"Well we need to go." Draco said.
"Wait, if he finds you all here." Elizabeth got scared.
"Who?" Booker questions.
They heard a whistle from a statue giving a warning.
"He's coming! Hide!" She warns them. "Just a minute! I'm getting dressed!"
"Who's coming?!" Booker said.
"Wait remember those posters saying the Songbird protects the lamb?" Aka said.
"Well let's get out of here." Victor said.
Alex goes to the door and rips it off.
This surprises Elizabeth at how he did that so effortlessly
"Go." Leonidas pushes her forward.
They quickly get out but Elizabeth sees the parts of the tower they were using for observing her.
"They were observing me? Why?!" Elizabeth questions. "Who am I?!"
"You're the girl leaving this place for good." Leonidas said.
"Come on!" Booker grabs her arm.
They quickly go down as they heard screeching.
"That doesn't sound good." Victor said.
"Must be that Songbird they were talking about. Hmm I wonder if we could capture it and reprogram it." Leonidas said.
"Trust me, you'll have to be lucky." Shiro said. "Even more with something big."
"Too bad we didn't bring Dusk." Aka said.
"Quit your whinning and go!" Draco said.
They keep going until they reach the outside. They moved around the tower and saw they're airship destroyed.
"Damn it!" Booker curses.
"Keep going! To the skyhooks!" Shiro said.
They move to a different direction and they see the Songbird flying above them.
"Theres that thing." Victor said.
"It's a big one." Aka said.
They headed to the shooks and Leonidas holds on to Elizabeth.
"Hold on tight." Leonidas said to her causing her to nod and hold him tightly.
They went to the lines as they traveled through them.
The Songbird chases after them.
Shiro sees it coming. "Be right back." He jumps up and lands on it's back.
"What is he doing?" Booker questions.
"Giving us time." Draco said.
Shiro runs forward and stabs his sword on it's back.
The Songbird screeches at this. It then tries to shake him off as he holds on.
"Gotta send him away!"
The Songbird turns upside down. Shiro hanged on before he shoots a gear at it's wings.
It screeches more in pain
LThen it lost control and starts to fall down, Shiro runs through it's back before jumping off.
He gets back onto the Skyhook and joins the others. The People of the City was shocked and scared as the Songbird falls.
They regrouped back at the other side.
"Y-you really defeated it." Elizabeth said stunned.
"For now." Shiro said.
"Now we just got to get her out of the city." Leonidas said.
Note: Zack's side spared Grace since she wasn't worth killing while the others managed to defeat the Songbird for now.
