Chapter 1678 The Bird

Eric was walking down the streets as he was still finding the next members of his bat family.
He arrives at a tournament and sees a boy known as Dre Parker defeating his rival as he won the entire tournament.
Eric smiles as Dre is a very smart kid, and very skilled too.
Dre takes his trophy outside and he saw Eric looking at him.
"Who are you mister?" He asked.
"My name is Eric, and I must say that was very impressive Dre."
"Thank you." He nodded.
"So I was looking for bright talented young man like you. Since wouldn't you like to be something bigger?" Eric offered.
Dre got confused. "What?"
"You've seen how others can make someone suffer, so I want to stop that." He take Dre to the side and shows a special Robin costume. "And I want you to be at my side, to do some good be a real hero."
Dre stares at it and looks back at Eric thinking about what he said.
In another part
Ma-Ma sits on a chair as she watches the new Prank jumping on his pogostick going around.
"Well keep practicing." She said.
Punchline jumps to her lap. "He's been the best little Prank ever."
"Yes, also you keep getting close to me." Ma-Ma said.
"Of course since you are amazing." Punchline smiles at her.
Ma-Ma stares at Punchline before she holds a vial of Venom, while not as strong as Titan, it's another good thing to add to advance her body before injecting Titan.
"Do you always have to inject them?" Punchline asked.
"It's what I do. I prefer to have my own way to defeat Eric." She said.
"But you have such a great suit in the making." Punchline goes to the prototype that's being made.
"I can do both, since Eric has always a thing to use gear. Plus he's taking those pills Batman gave him to make his body more durable." Ma-Ma said.
She wants that suit to be ready since she has someone that she needs to face with it.
"The one bat that many wouldn't dare fight, is what I want to get the skills from." She smiles.
With Eric using Scarecrow's toxin, she has to up her own game since he's adapting to what he can get too, so to have the edge she needs better skills, and theres only one that she can get from that would surpass Eric.
"So the best of the suit will make me have a chance to find the other bat." Ma-Ma said.
"What would that bat be?" Punchline asked.
"You'll find out, since it's the combined version of the two greatest minds of good and evil into one." Ma-Ma said.
"Now your trolling me." Punchline said.
"Silence, you'll see what I mean." Ma-Ma said. "But until then, I must be ready with the skills of the best Gotham has to offer, as it is the city with the worst of the criminals."
"So that's why your always going after those guys, i'm surprised you never went for Bane." Punchline said.
"He would be too prideful, the league of Assassins are skilled but the one i'm looking is the one known as Sensei." Ma-Ma said.
"Your kidding? I thought that guy died." Punchline said.
"No, he survived in his own pit, if I can find him then I would have some skills." Ma-Ma said.
While she prefers to have her own men fight and she using guns, after many fights it's time to adapt.
"He is better as ones like Damian Wayne are just a little brat in comparison."
Punchline nodded. "Are you also getting a lazarus? I heard they can grant power and immortality."
"Yes it can, while it can corrupt a person but with my experiments I can avoid the problem." She smirks.
She has been curious about those pits she can't let ras take all of the fun.
"I'm going for a ride." Ma-Ma got up.
Punchline got excited and follows her with Prank following them.
They went to a garage and saw the Joker Mobile the car of the Joker himself. (Arkham version)
Ma-Ma goes inside with her two sidekicks, they drive off in the car to find what they need. She needed her own car to compete with Eric's, so she was lucky to have Joker's own car.
Punchline sits at her side with Prank on the back, Ma-Ma shoots around to get a clear path for they're trip.
At Gotham
Eric was inside his batsuit with Dre now as Robin since he made his choice with Edward in her own costume too.
"So are we going to save others?" Dre asked.
"Yes, but first it's time to train you how to deal with the night." Eric said.
Edward smiles. "Alright."
The three of them went off swinging off of rooftops, Oracle watches them and smiles.
"They'll be great heroes together." She said.
Eric has now a Robin, she hopes he can find a Nightwing to redeem the title that Damian put shame on.
"So are we going to have more to help out?" Dre asked Eric.
"I am thinking getting more to help us out, but I need to make the right choice."
Eric wanted the new bat family to in the new view he's making to avoid the suffering that affected others like Bruce and Thomas, Eric while he lost his mother wasn't through a murder and he still has his father. He wants to use the mantle while putting the fear of the night into others but with a bright side to the dark side.
While Batman once had someone take his mantle that guy perverted it to a point that went against Bruce stood for. Eric was the best choice for the mantle that existed.
He has been learning from Batman and the experiences and data of past Bat Family members, even learning from other of the villains as Scarecrow's fear gas was something he got curious even if it was made for evil it can be used to help him get an edge in battle as the Demon Bat was what he thought to compete with Team Light A's transformations since theres so much with the armors he has. Since at the end of the day he's still human despite being a meta but his abilities are lesser than others since he's mostly a hacker.
"So let's go find more." Edward said.
He chuckles before they went off watching over the city.
At a mountain a secret entrance explodes and from it came the Joker Mobile, it drives forward before it stops at a secret lair.
Theres a lazarus pit with someone watching it, Ma-Ma comes out to see him as the man turns around revealing to be Sensei.
"So you came." He said.
"That's right and you should know what I want." She smirks.
"Yes but let's see if your worthy." He said.
She got ready and challenges him with the former leader of the league of Assassins testing her to see if she can get what she desires.
Note: Eric got his Robin being Dre from the Karate Kid remake, while Ma-Ma has been advancing her own way getting new gear and finding where a former teacher of the league of Assassins is, since to hee Damian was just a failure.
