Timmy Turner was utterly flabbergasted. Not to mention surprised. Around the same morning, Bloom decided to go to Alfea while Timmy woke up and thought the move and the whole experience were all just a dream.
But unfortunately, it wasn't. Timmy Turner is still here in Gardenia.
One minute, Timmy Turner lived happily ever after in Dimmsdale, minding his own business. But the next thing he knew, he was forced to move from Dimmsdale to his new forever home in Gardenia to start a new life here. He also recently met Bloom and Stella in the forested section of Gardenia Park, where the two girls were dealing with a giant ogre called Knut and a pack of frightening red monsters.
With the help of his fairy godparents, Timmy Turner somehow managed to help Bloom and Stella battle the monsters at the park and Bloom's house that night. He even met another Timmy, the tech master of the group of four guys known as the Specialists from Red Fountain.
Everything happened so quickly, so right now, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof find themselves in Magix, where they can see an extraordinary castle with grand towers and a vast courtyard.
This was Alfea, a school for fairies in the world of Magix.
"So, this is Alfea!? This place is huge," Wanda said with amazement.
"Yeah, I couldn't believe it either," Timmy Turner replied, and then he turned to see Bloom, Stella, Mike, Vanessa, and Kiko in the distance. "Hey, it's Bloom and her parents. And Stella, too!"
"Don't let them see us!" Wanda warned as she and Cosmo turned into trees while Poof became a little bush. Timmy Turner hid behind the regular green bushes to see Bloom and her parents in front of Alfea Castle with Stella.
"So, this is the realm of Magix," Vanessa said as she, Bloom, Mike, Kiko, and Stella stood before Alfea Castle. "And that must be your new school over there."
Bloom was excited. "This place is enormous! Have you ever seen anything like it, Dad?"
"Yeah, I noticed," Mike said while shaking his head in disbelief. "This is like nothing I've ever seen."
"A fairy school in a real castle!" Vanessa smiled. "This is amazing."
"I couldn't believe it either, Mom!" Bloom smiled as well.
"Well, we'd better get a move on, or we'll be late," Mike said as he started off toward the school, but then suddenly…
BAM!
Mike bounced back as if an invisible wall appeared and stopped him. He put his hands on the invisible barrier. "I can't get through."
"Really?" Bloom asked in confusion as she noticed Kiko could go through the barrier. "Because that didn't stop Kiko." She turned to Stella for confirmation. "Stella, did you do that by any chance? Why can't my parents get through?"
"Oh, yeah, sorry about that…," Stella said as she waved her fingers to reveal the magical barrier as sparks illuminated a transparent wall. "I should've warned you, Bloom, but it's a protective barrier. It keeps non-magical creatures out of Alfea. You know, to keep us safe."
"You mean…," Bloom looked back to her parents with a sad look.
"Sorry, guys," Stella said gently to Mike and Vanessa. "But you can't go any further. You're heading home now."
"So soon?" Mike asked in surprise.
"Guess it's time to say goodbye. I think Bloom is going to have a great year," Vanessa said as she and Mike hugged Bloom. "It's okay, honey. We'll be fine. You'll have a wonderful time."
"One last hug before we're off," Mike replied.
"I'm going to miss you guys so much," Bloom said tearfully to her parents.
"We'll miss you, too!" Vanessa replied. "Have fun, learn a lot, and do your best."
"And remember, we'll always be there for you, no matter what. Make us proud, Bloom!" Mike added, then he turned to Kiko. "Kiko, you keep an eye on her."
Kiko, the rabbit, understood immediately and saluted Mike.
"Don't worry, Bloom will do great," Stella reassured. "She's in good hands." She then whispered urgently to Bloom. "Come on, we gotta go."
"I'll be home for a visit as soon as possible," Bloom promised Mike and Vanessa.
"I'll send you home now," Stella said as she took off her ring and tossed it into the air as it changed back into a scepter. And with that, Stella created a doorway for Mike and Vanessa. "Have a nice trip."
As Mike and Vanessa were transported back home, Stella turned to Bloom. "Ready to take the plunge?"
"This is all new to me," Bloom replied.
"Yeah, I know it's a lot. But once you cross the barrier, there's no turning back. You're not backing out, are you?"
Bloom became determined. "No! Not after coming this far. My mind's made up, Stella."
"Alright, let's get moving!" Stella exclaimed as she and Bloom headed straight through the barrier and into Alfea.
Once Bloom and Stella entered the school, Timmy Turner and his fairies popped out of their hiding place and stood in front of Alfea Castle again.
"Wow!" Timmy Turner said as he tried to place his hand on the invisible barrier but couldn't. "I guess they weren't kidding about an invisible wall."
"Well, it's just as Stella said. It keeps non-magical folks out," Wanda said as she noticed Cosmo floating in and out of the barrier back and forth. She stopped him by pulling his ear.
"Non-magical people? I dealt with magical stuff, too, you know," Timmy Turner said. "Well, no use complaining about it. Let's see what else is new in this Magix Dimension."
"Awww," Wanda groaned in dismay. "But I wanna see more of Alfea."
"I know, Wanda, but we can't stay here. If Bloom sees us, she'll flip out, so let's at least explore before we head home."
"I guess you're right, Timmy," Wanda nodded. "Don't want Bloom distracted to see us on her first day."
"Well, according to this, there's a place called Magix City," Cosmo said.
"How did you know that?"
"It said so on the brochure."
"I don't think they have brochures here…yet," Timmy Turner said. "But in that case, I wish we were in Magix City!"
"You got it, Timmy!" Wanda said as she, Cosmo, and Poof lifted their wands and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
A short while later, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof took in the sights of Magix City as they reappeared in a poof of smoke.
"Wow!" Timmy Turner exclaimed as he and his fairies looked around Magix City in utter amazement. Magix City was just like a typical city, filled with buildings, streets, and pedestrians, more colorful and brighter than ever before. "Wow, this is pretty much like back at Gardenia. Except it's more magical than usual."
"Well, it's not like Fairy World," Wanda replied as she couldn't stop staring at the sights and noticed other magical beings and creatures. "But still, this place is amazing, Timmy! I really wanna see what's in store."
"Me, too!" Cosmo agreed. "And I'm kinda hungry."
Wanda and Timmy Turner sighed in dismay while Poof giggled.
"Oh well, it's not like something bad will happen."
While Timmy Turner and his fairies were enjoying Magix City, they didn't realize that a familiar yellow ogre quickly noticed them by the window of the glasses store.
"Uh, excuse me, sir," Knut asked the employee. "Did you see that boy? What's he doing here?"
"Sorry," The employee apologized. "I don't know who you're talking about."
"Grrr! The pink-hatted boy and his green, pink, and purple fairies who just passed by!"
"Oh, them? Never seen them before. Must be a bystander."
Knut ran out the door and began dialing on his phone. "I have to let my mistresses know right away! They may want to deal with this themselves personally this time."
"Yum! That was great!" Stella said as she, Bloom, and three other girls about the same age as them were at the Food stall. "And the ice cream was perfect!"
Just recently, Bloom and Stella attended Alfea and shared a suite of three bedrooms with their three new roommates – a lovely, gentle girl with light brown hair named Flora, a tech-savvy girl with a short magenta haircut named Tecna, and a cute, raven-haired pigtailed girl named Musa. After some introductions, the four girls headed to Magix City for lunch.
"Hmmm…," Bloom mumbled as she tried to dial the numbers on the new phone her dad gave her. "My phone isn't working, but the battery's full. I want to let my parents know I'm okay!"
"Let me see it. I'm pretty good with tech," Tecna insisted as Bloom showed her the phone. "No way! How's this even possible!? This thing's…so old. Where did you get this?"
"My dad gave it to me!" Bloom replied. "And it's the most recent model."
Stella whispered to Bloom. "On Earth, maybe."
"Sorry, but it won't work here in Magix," Tecna said. "It's more of an antique collector's item than a phone."
"If you want to call your parents, you can use my phone," Stella insisted.
"No, it's okay. I can use the telephone booth," Bloom replied. "My parents can still receive my calls, right?"
"Yeah, you can call anywhere in the universe from Magix. By the way, we'll meet you in the square at the fountain, okay?"
"At the fountain…," Bloom memorized. "Got it!"
Bloom went to the telephone booth and dialed home on Earth. Just then, a familiar voice appeared on the other line. "Hello?"
"Mom! It's me!" Bloom said happily.
"Bloom?!" Vanessa cried, surprised to hear her daughter's voice. "Honey, is it really you? How's it going there?"
"Everything's great. The school's terrific, and I'm sharing an apartment with Stella and three other girls. Classes start tomorrow. But don't worry, I'll keep you posted and…"
But just then, Bloom suddenly stopped when she quickly noticed a familiar, hulking figure walking by. It was Knut.
"Is everything okay, Bloom?" Vanessa asked.
"Uh…yeah, everything's fine…," Bloom replied. "I've gotta go now, my friends are calling me! Gotta go and say hi to Dad for me!"
"Have fun, sweetie, and stay safe!"
"I will! Love you, too, Mom!"
Bloom ended the call and followed Knut. "I'm sure it's the same ogre that attacked us in Gardenia."
Knut peered around the corner to spy on Stella, Flora, Tecna, and Musa at the fountain.
"What's taking Varanda so long?" Tecna asked. "She should be back by now."
"I don't know," Flora replied. "Maybe she's just on the phone with her parents."
"Yeah, they've got a lot of catching up to do," Stella agreed. "I'll go find her just in case she got lost."
As Stella headed out to find Bloom, a vast shadow loomed over her. "Bloom, is that you?"
"No….," A voice appeared, revealing to be Knut. "It's me, and you've got something I need!"
"You again!?"
A few blocks away, Timmy Turner and his fairies sat down on the bench after exploring Downtown Magix when Poof noticed trouble up ahead.
"Poof-poof!" Poof exclaimed, getting Timmy Turner, Cosmo, and Wanda's attention as they turned to see Stella…being attacked by Knut as the ogre made off with their scepter.
"It's Stella!" Timmy Turner said in surprise.
"And there's that ogre again!" Wanda exclaimed, pointing at Knut getting away.
"We've got to stop meeting like this!" Cosmo joked.
Timmy Turner and his fairies followed Knut further into the city, leading them to an empty alleyway. They hid behind the trash cans to see what the ogre was doing with Stella's scepter.
"I got the scepter, mistresses!" Knut called out to someone, but no one was there. "Wait, where are you? I can't see you!"
Just then, a female voice appeared. "We're here, Knut…on the other side! Unbelievable! You never see us!"
"Huh?"
As Knut turned around to see his bosses, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof couldn't believe who or what they were seeing – three gorgeous figures about the same age as Bloom appeared, talking to Knut…and they seemed like bad news!
"Well, Knut?" The first teen with silver hair and icy blue eyes demanded. "Did you get it?"
"Er…," Knut tried to explain. "I saw the blonde girl with the magic scepter in the square and, uh…"
"Answer the question! Did you get it or not!?"
"Uh, yes, Your Highness, but I saw her with her friends. Also, there was someone else here, and it's—"
"Whatever! At least you got it!"
"We finally have the scepter now!" The second teen with yellow eyes and long, brown hair said with a smile. But then, she suddenly thought she sensed somebody. "Sisters, we're being watched."
Still hiding behind the trash cans, Timmy Turner and his fairies felt a chill down their spines.
"Those three girls are the ogre's accomplices, too," Wanda said. "No, no, that's not it… It's more like Knut is working for them."
"Well, we can't let them get away with Stella's scepter," Timmy Turner determinedly replied. "We gotta figure out how to hold them off until Stella arrives. I'm sure hope Bloom gets there, too."
"Uh, can I ask a question?" Cosmo asked.
"What is it, Cosmo?"
"When did you start flying like us?"
Timmy Turner looked confused at first, but then he suddenly realized what Cosmo was talking about – a powerful jolt of dark magic was lifting him in the air. He screamed as he landed hard on the ground.
As Timmy Turner got up, he found himself face-to-face with three menacing girls and an angry ogre, all looking down on him.
"Surprise!" snarled the first teen as Timmy Turner shook. "You like our little joke, brat?"
"I feel like I should give you a clap, but no," Timmy Turner said, not in the mood as Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof appeared beside him. "I don't know what's happening here, but you better give us the scepter. If this is some kind of magical robbery, it's not funny."
"Watch your mouth, kid," The third teen with bushy, purple hair sneered at the pink-hatted boy. "You can stay put and be in a world of hurt or get out of our way! Take your pick!"
"Man, does NOBODY ever listen around here…?"
"Uhhhh… I don't know how to even answer that," Cosmo replied.
"This is not looking good, Timmy," Wanda said. "These girls and that ogre are staring us down…and they do not look happy! I don't think they're about to let us go. Which means…"
"I guess it's a fight, then," Timmy Turner sighed as Cosmo and Wanda turned into lightsabers for him. "Why is it always fighting?"
"Well, it's better than talking to these weirdos," Cosmo said.
"We're not weirdos!" The third teen yelled. "We're witches!"
"Guess you have some magic in you, too," The first teen smiled. "Good, we were worried this was going to be boring."
"Wow, they're really getting worked up now," Cosmo said.
"Cosmo, stop talking!" Timmy Turner replied. "Wait, did they just say they're witches!?"
"You talk too much," The first teen witch said as she and the other two glared at Timmy maliciously. "But since you don't know who we are, we'll make you remember! We're Icy, Stormy, and Darcy – the Trix!"
An awkward silence fell in as Timmy Turner repeated in confusion. "The Trix!? What, you mean like a breakfast cereal?"
Cosmo laughed. "Silly witches! Trix are for kids!"
"I think they made their group name clear enough," Wanda said, being serious. "It means that they have some witchy tricks up their sleeves."
Just then, a familiar voice appeared. "Hey, leave Timmy alone! And that scepter isn't yours!"
Everyone turned to see Bloom standing behind them with all her courage.
"Ah, another challenger," Icy smirked.
"Bloom, now you showed up!" Timmy Turner exclaimed.
Bloom was surprised. "Timmy? Timmy Turner, you're here, too!?"
"Yeah, I didn't think you'd be here," Timmy Turner replied. "In fact, I've been waiting for you to show up! Really, I have."
"So, why are they attacking you? Who are they?"
"They call themselves the Trix, and that's a silly name for a group of witches."
"Are you that clueless or what?" Darcy interrupted, talking to Bloom. "Maybe you don't know who we are, too."
"I don't care who you are! I'm not scared of you!" Bloom said to the Trix. "I'm a fairy, so get back!"
But nothing happened as Bloom tried to summon her magic from her hands and fingers.
The Trix laughed while Timmy Turner groaned in dismay.
"You call that magic?" Icy laughed. "Maybe you and the pink-hatted brat should have a tiny taste of my power." She then unleashed her ice powers at Bloom, who quickly dodged.
"And the power of darkness from Darcy," Darcy joined in.
Stormy grinned evilly. "And the power of wind from Stormy!"
One by one, the Trix unleashed their powers on Bloom and Timmy Turner, who managed to counterattack them.
"I think they had enough," Icy laughed.
"Unless the girl's got powers, I'd say it was pretty unlikely," Stormy replied.
"I…do…so have powers!" Bloom said, struggling.
"Yeah, right!" Darcy laughed. "I don't think so."
"Let's get out of here," Icy said as the Trix were about to leave with Stella's scepter. "We've wasted enough time already."
But then, suddenly, a giant laser blast hit Icy hard, sending her straight to the other side of the alley while she dropped the scepter.
Everyone turned in surprise to see Timmy Turner holding a bazooka from before – this time, it was Wanda.
"Haha, in your face, Trix!" Timmy Turner gloated as he grabbed the scepter and gave it to Bloom.
"You got the scepter back!" Bloom said in surprise.
"Well, it was my turn to step up!" Timmy Turner replied. "These girls are witches in human form, and there's no guarantee we'll get through this alive. Plus, you still haven't awakened your fairy powers yet."
"You're right. But still, you helped me out earlier back home, right? That makes us friends, and friends don't leave each other in a jam."
"You sure about that?"
Just then, a blast of ice suddenly froze Bloom as Icy returned. "You'll pay for that! Let's cool you down!"
But then, another voice appeared. "Back off! Take us on instead!"
The Trix, Knut, and Timmy Turner turned to see Stella, Musa, Tecna, and Flora right behind them.
"It's the witches from Cloud Tower!" Musa said.
"What do we do? She and that kid are in trouble!" Tecna replied.
"We've got to stop them!" Flora said. "They're hurting our friend."
At that moment, Stella, Musa, Flora, and Tecna were ready for battle as they transformed into their own fairy forms one by one.
"Stella, Fairy of the Shining Sun!"
"Flora, Fairy of Nature!"
"Musa, Fairy of Music!"
"Tecna, Fairy of Technology!"
Stormy scoffed. "Looks like we've got company, Icy!"
"You think!?" Icy replied as she then turned to Knut. "Knut, they're all yours!"
Knut roared and started running toward the four fairies, but they moved out of the way, and the ogre landed in a bunch of trash cans.
"Sorry, but now it's our turn," Tecna said as she, Musa, and Flora sprang into action with their magic and powers. "Static Sphere!"
"Sonic Blast!"
"Golden Pollen!"
Timmy Turner and his fairies looked on in bewilderment as the battle raged.
"Wow, look at 'em go!" Cosmo cheered.
Timmy Turner couldn't believe it. "Oh, come on! First, that ogre and his army of monsters led by three teenage witches named after a cereal box poofs in here, and now they are more fairies like Stella?"
"I couldn't believe it either," Wanda replied as she turned to Bloom, who was still a prisoner inside the block of ice. "But we gotta get Bloom outta here."
"Fine," Timmy Turner sighed. "I wish Bloom was unfrozen."
POOF! The ice melted, and Bloom was unfrozen, still holding Stella's scepter.
"Hey, guys!" Timmy Turner called out to Stella and her friends. "Now's the time to skidaddle!"
Knowing that Timmy Turner was right, Stella, Flora, Musa, and Tecna rushed to his and Bloom's side. Timmy Turner gave Stella the scepter as she beamed herself, the girls, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof out of here.
"Curses!" Icy yelled in disbelief. "They've disappeared! We'll get you next time, fairies! And your pink-hatted boy, too!"
As the Trix prepared to leave, Knut called out. "Hey! What about me?"
"You're coming with us, you useless ogre! Better be grateful!"
Somewhere in Magix, Stella's time-space beam delivered herself, Bloom, Musa, Flora, Tecna, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof safely. Timmy Turner quickly warned his fairies to disguise themselves as the girls collapsed in exhaustion.
Timmy Turner walked over to Bloom. "Are you okay?"
Shivering a bit, Bloom nodded. "Yeah, thanks. I owe you and Stella big time."
Stella put her arm around Bloom as the other girls returned to normal. "You know, Bloom, for an earthling, I gotta admit. You and the kid did quite well."
"Quite well?" Timmy Turner repeated. "Quite well? Please, I helped save you all and kicked some witch butt! Oh, and got your scepter back."
"Yeah, yeah, I owe you two big time."
"Stella!"
Bloom, Stella, and Timmy Turner turned to see Flora, Tecna, and Musa staring at them.
"Stella, who is this young boy? And why did he and you keep calling her Bloom?"
"Well, actually…," Stella said, trying to explain. "I might have been fibbing a bit about Bloom's background."
"Fibbing?" Timmy Turner repeated as he stared at Stella as well. "What are you talking about?"
"I kinda told them that Bloom is Princess Varanda of Callisto."
"You wanted Bloom to pretend to be someone else to get into Alfea?"
"Come on, it's just a little white lie…"
"Where have I heard that before?" Timmy Turner muttered, then turned to Flora, Tecna, and Musa to spill the beans. "Sorry to break it to you, girls, but that's not Varanda of Callisto. That's Bloom, and she's from Earth, like me!"
"It's true," Bloom admitted.
"And who might you be?" Tecna asked the pink-hatted boy.
"I'm Timmy Turner, and I'm the one who helped out Bloom and Stella in a jam!"
"Well, nice to meet you, Timmy Turner," Flora smiled. "You're more curious than what Bloom called 'Pizza'."
Timmy Turner turned to Stella and Bloom. "They never even heard of pizza!? That's an Earth food!" Then, he signed in dismay but calmed down a bit. "And Bloom? You are not a liar. That's like my area. So, know your role. I'm outta here."
"Timmy, wait!" Bloom halted. "I didn't get to tell you, but I'm staying here at Alfea in the Magix Dimension."
"Seriously!?" Timmy exclaimed in surprise.
"I know you said I haven't awakened my powers yet. That's why I've got to learn how to use my powers – to be a fairy."
But then, hearing that last bit, Timmy Turner just…began to laugh. "Okay, ogres, monsters, trolls, and witches, I can buy, but you as a fairy? Please!"
"Hey, I'd be an awesome fairy!"
"Yeah, sure," Timmy Turner replied as he stopped laughing. "But okay, stick around a while longer."
"Huh?"
"Look, I know you've been frozen in a block of ice, and we started some kind of alley fight with witches around your age, but…this was kinda the most fun I ever had! So, go ahead and work on your powers all you want."
Bloom was surprised. "Wait, really?"
"I dealt with crazy stuff before, but never like this! I'll see 'ya later, and if you and your friends ever need my help, just call me."
"Right," Bloom nodded. "I'll do that. By the way, I'll be back on Earth for a visit."
"That's great," Timmy Turner said as he went further into the woods.
Just then, Bloom noticed a card with Timmy Turner's name and number in her hand.
When the coast was clear, Timmy Turner turned to his fairies, who appeared before him.
"Are you sure you just want to let her go?" Wanda asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I trust Bloom…for now," Timmy Turner said. "I wish we were back home."
And with that, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof disappeared from Magix…
…and reappeared back to Timmy Turner's new bedroom in Gardenia.
"Aaahhh, what a day!" Timmy Turner sighed in relaxation as he lay down on the bed.
"Why didn't you just tell Bloom about us?" Cosmo asked with concern.
"I can't! You guys know as well as I do that If I reveal your existence, you'll have to go away forever, remember?"
"Oh, right."
"Plus, Bloom and her friends might flip if they heard about you guys, Fairy World, everything. But we'll help them in any way we can…in secret."
"But still, I have never seen fairies in the Magix Dimension who do nature, music, the sun, and technology," Wanda said in amazement. "We Fairy World fairies have been busy granting wishes."
Timmy Turner sighed. "Well, with us around, this will be an exciting time for Bloom. Or will it?"
Meanwhile, at their suite in Alfea, Bloom and her friends were coming up with names for their group.
"If we're going to be a group, we should have a name!" Bloom said.
"Actually, it's not a bad idea…," Tecna replied. "A name is good for a quick reference."
"If those three witches are the Trix," Stella said, "Then we should be called something like… The Super Five! No, wait… The Stella Five! Nah, that's not it." Then, it finally hit her. "Oh, I've got it! The Airy Faries!"
"The what?" Musa asked in confusion.
"The Airy Fairies! It's short, sweet, and it rhymes."
"Sounds terrible!"
As Kiko showed the logo, Bloom had a better name for the group. "How about… The Winx? Because you see, I've already come up with the logo! Simple, yet catchy."
"I vote for that!" Flora said.
"Me too," Musa nodded.
"Yes, but…," Tecna began to ask. "What does 'Winx' mean?"
"Oh, nothing," Bloom replied, smiling. "Just Winx!"
