{There is utter silence, not even crickets are chirping}

Okay, okay, I know its already past the sell-buy date for this. But please bear with me. I haven't been the most active person on this site, because I have nothing much to do anymore. You could say that I was lazy and that all I do is just go on here and read fanfiction. That is all true. But I am only human and its only now that I have realized the herculean task of making this story right.

Now filled with a renewed vigor and with help from a friend I made on this site. The next chapters of this work shall begin!

Team Kalos finds themselves entering the Kalos region through the portal. The town of Vaniville was seen nearby, accessible through a modest walkway lined with flowers. Sam steps forward in front of the crowd, jumping lightly with excitement.

"Even though I don't play video games. This place has such a positive aura to it." Dawn said as she looked at their surroundings

"So, this is what Kalos is like. It's all so surreal..." Sam takes a deep breath before placing a hand on his chest. "To all the community members who have assisted in my journey thus far, I will not let you down!"

Sam had his arm raised up high as if he was singing to the heavens, accompanied by an unseen spotlight.

A few awkward seconds passed as Sam remained in his pose with everyone watching him. Confused, on how and where the spotlight even came from. Well, except for one person that is…

Shawn immediately dove into a nearby flower bed when he saw the spotlight "Contrary to popular belief, zombies actually still hunt by sight" he said matter-of-factly still hidden behind his cover.

"What popular belief is that contradicting exactly?" Gwen raised an eyebrow. "Never mind, just get out of there." And the zombie survivalist complied with her request, quickly getting out oof the flower bed.

"Indeed, we would not want to leave a bad first impression on the people here." Dawn added.

"What is it that we are to do next exactly?" Scarlet asked, not knowing much about Pokemon

"Hmm, if I remember correctly, X and Y has two people meet us at the start." Cameron pondered

"Well, where are they?" Mike asked, and before Sam could say who a soft voice interjects

"Hey, there!" Two girls then approach the group.

"Oh! You two must be our guides here!" Izzy waved her hand enthusiastically. The two of them took a step back from the girl's outburst.

"Forgive her outburst, she's quite energetic due to her lack of parental supervision and general tendency to cause mayhem as a way to get attention" Dawn explained, completely freaking out everyone for her ability to read anyone like an open book.

Izzy was merely frozen in place as Sam went in front of the girl.

"Aaaaaanyway, ignoring that, you two must be Serena and Shauna. Our fellow trainers." Sam greeted the two, hoping to distract from Dawn's earlier statement.

"Fellow trainers? Shauna questioned. "Oh! You guys must be those contestants from the show we were told about" to which Sam nodded

Confession Break

Gwen Confessional: "Wow. I just... Wow. Not expecting something heavy to be dropped this early. Luckily Sam managed to change topic before anyone could say anything."

Mike Confessional: "Wait, what am I doing here?" {he notices that his hair is slicked down and adjusts it a bit, Mike then looks right at the camera confused}

Izzy Confessional: "I... I just...no, focus Izzy! *Slaps herself* You must get your head in the game! It's just a coincidence."

Scarlet Confessional: "So, instead of worrying what that devil of a host is doing on his end, I should focus on my own game here for the time being. And luckily, a weakness has been revealed by our resident moonchild. I'll keep that in mind when the time comes."

Confession Ends

"Well, we were going to meet Serena's friend at his house. You can come along if you want to." Serena added

"Okay, sure." Sam replied

I'm sorry that the work was short. It was hard trying to juggle these guys around. They represent the second most eclectic bunch here next to Team Alola and Team Johto. But don't worry this is just a short test run until I get back on my feet. I hope you all enjoyed this work.
