Matt: More time, huh?
[He walks over to Elena and Stefan.]
Matt: Hey, I'm Matt, nice to meet you
Stefan: Hi. Stefan.
Elena: Hey.
Matt: Hey.
"When I first watched it, I thought there was going to be a fist fight or at least some verbal attack but no my Cinnamon Roll just always has to be polite," Lucy said sulking in her seat.
"Why on earth do you call him that darling?" Kol asked curiously.
"Because K. I mean he is just a sweetie," Lucy said as Matt blushed in embarrassment.
"Looks like someone had the hots for you." Tyler teased nudging Matt with his elbow.
"Shut it Wolf boy, I don't see him that way, I just like him as a person even though I'm not too fond of his actor, like, at all, Ric's actor as well," Lucy said with a disgusted expression.
"Is there a particular reason for that?" Elijah asked curiously.
"Lijah, you've finally said something, you should really talk more often. Anyways, to answer your question there are a lot of rumors surrounding them, that Matt Davis, Ric's character is a pedo and Zach Zoerig, My cinnamon roll's actor is a racist. I'm not one to blindly believe rumors but there is evidence of it online, honestly the way he treated Kat Graham, Bon Bon's actors is horrible, he wasn't the only one too. You know they were actually going to kill off Bon Bon in the first season before Ian Somerhalder, Damie's actor said that if she left the show, he'd quit too. God, he's so sweet." Lucy gushed as they looked at her wide-eyed, Damon would never do something like that.
"Wait, if they made that decision then would Bonnie be dead?" Caroline gasped though she was confused as to how it worked, if they change it in their world, would it change in ours, or were their worlds separate?
"I actually never thought of that...but yeah it probably would to be honest," Lucy said and they all turned towards Bonnie shocked. She had become such a major part of their lives that they couldn't even think about what it would be like without her. Jeremy swallowed roughly at the thought of her being dead, he did not want to think about that at all. "Ok that was morbid and I might have got a bit carried away, why don't we just watch now?"
Caroline: So, you were born in Mystic Falls?
Stefan: Mm-Hmm. And moved when I was still young.
Bonnie: Parents?
Stefan: My parents passed away.
Elena: I'm sorry. Any siblings?
Stefan: None that I talk to. I live with my uncle.
Caroline: So, Stefan, if you're new, then you don't know about the party tomorrow.
Bonnie: It's a back to school thing at the falls.
Stefan (to Elena): Are you going?
Bonnie: Of course she is.
Zach: You promised.
"Never thought I'd see him again," Damon said.
"Well obviously, because you killed him," Stefan said still angry over that.
"Damon killed his own nephew." Elena gasped in horror. "That's horrible. How could you do that Damon?"
"A little FYI, his humanity was off, as I've told you before, he didn't care now lay off him, would you? Only Steffie had the right to be angry there, not you, so just leave him be Elena." Lucy said annoyed with her yet again.
"How can you be so ok with that? He killed his own blood, what if the guy had a family or something?" Elena asked horrified.
"It's fine Elena. His wife had died long ago." Lucy said understandingly of her last question. Damon nearly winced at that but he kept his face neutral as he pushed away the guilt, the guilt of killing that pregnant woman, it haunted him to this day.
"So he had no children?" Elena asked curiously and hoping he didn't.
"His wife was pregnant when she died so it was told that she had died too but..." Lucy was about to say but Stefan cut her off as Damon's fist tightened on the edge of the chair at the reminder.
"Don't!" Stefan said immediately, he couldn't have Damon knowing about that.
"Don't worry Steffie. She'll be fine. She gets caught up in the mess in the end anyway, and sooner or later everyone will find out so the more people to protect her the better." Lucy said and he calmed down at that as everyone watched the exchange confused. "They performed an emergency C-section and the baby survived." Damon nearly got whiplash at how fast his head whipped towards her but she was already looking at him as she said, "The baby never died, it's fine now, Stefan made sure she was cared for, she has no idea about her biological family though."
"Stefan?" Damon asked his brother if she was telling the truth and the way he wasn't looking at him told him everything. "How could you have kept that from me? Do you know how much that day has haunted me? You should have told me."
"I always felt guilty not having told you knowing what you felt about what you did but after you killed Zach, I refused to feel guilty anymore because I knew that the next time you snapped and switched it off, you'd go straight to her," Stefan explained not an ounce of remorse in his tone.
"You didn't have to tell me her name or where she was Stefan, you just had to tell me she was alive," Damon said feeling so much weight fall off his shoulders at the realization that he had not killed the kid.
"And if you somehow managed to find her and kill her with your switch turned off, knowing it would hurt me most, it would be on me and I couldn't live with that so I never told you anything. If Lucy hadn't confirmed that she'd find out about us anyway, you wouldn't have found out now either." Stefan said, he refused to feel guilty, he was right in doing what he did.
Damon turned away from him at that, knowing that Stefan was right, he understood why he did what he did but it didn't make him any less angry.
"Does that mean Damon killed Zach's wife too, whilst she was pregnant?" Elena asked now even more horrified as Damon swallowed and looked away from everyone.
"I get it Elena ok, but I really suggest you drop it. Every vampire has done unforgivable things here, and not to throw any of you under the bus or anything but did you honestly think Elena that when you heard about them massacring cities, that there weren't any pregnant woman and any children there. You may think the Mikaeslons monsters Elena, but they are no different than the Salvatores, in fact, they've lived far longer and seen more horrors than your human mind can even begin to comprehend so don't judge them for that. Who they are now is because of their past and you don't know anything about them and frankly, it's a wonder they're not more berserk because considering what I know, the humanity they show anyway is still a lot more than they should be able to after the multiple tragedies in their lives." Lucy lectured as the Mikaelsons looked at her in admiration and gratefulness, she was the first to have ever stood up for them and Kol couldn't help the smile that formed on his face.
"OK so you both have a niece?" Caroline asked the brothers after a moment of awkward silence.
"Yes, her name's Sarah," Stefan said with a smile on his face.
"How old is she?" Bonnie asked curiously.
"She should be around 23 by now," Stefan said after he thought about it for a moment.
"Ok everyone back to the show," Lucy called out as she resumed the memory.
[Zach shows Stefan the newspaper article.]
Stefan: This was an animal attack.
Zach: Don't give me that. I know the game. You tear them up enough, they always suspect an animal attack. You said you had it under control.
Stefan: And I do.
Zach: Please, Uncle Stefan. Mystic Falls is a different place now. It's been quiet for years, but there are people who still remember. And you being here, it's just going to stir things up.
Stefan: It's not my intention.
Zach: Then what is? Why did you come back? After all this time, why now?
Stefan: I don't have to explain myself.
Zach: I know that you can't change what you are. But you don't belong here anymore.
Stefan: Where do I belong?
"That was so sad you know? Steffie totally deserved better," Lucy said sadly.
"Uh...thank you," Stefan said unsure how to respond to that.
"Oh no problem Steffie. You tie with K as my sixth favorite characters," Lucy said with a smile.
"Wait, sixth? Seriously? And I'm tied with him?" Kol asked annoyed.
"Hey there is a lot of characters, sixth is a great number and besides, I couldn't choose between you two, Steffie's a total sweetheart and I really loved your entire character so what should I have done?" Lucy pouted.
"Who are your other favorites?" Caroline asked curiously.
"Ok, so I'll go down the list from only the people you all know so far that are alive and in this room, Damie, Nikky, Bekah, Lijah, Steffie and K, Carebear, Bon Bon, Wolf Boy, Ric, Jerbear and My Cinnamon Roll. There are others in my list but you don't know them yet or they're dead or not in this room, so..." Lucy shrugged at that.
"Can we just watch now?" Elena asked beyond irritated, she hadn't even done anything to the girl and she couldn't even put her on the blasted list. It wasn't her fault that she was put in danger and needed saving, and as for the brothers, she cared for both of them so much, how could she just let one of them go?
"Shut it, Elena." Rebekah said annoyed before turning to Lucy to ask, "I'm your third favourite?"
"Well in my complete list, you come after Kat, but she's not here though I honestly adore your character, you're just so sweet," Lucy gushed with a bright smile on her face not noticing the scowl that formed on Kol's face, she put Rebekah before him? Seriously?
"I resent being put after the blasted Doppelganger but still, thank you," Rebekah said appreciatively with a smile on her face.
"It was actually hard to choose between you and Kat, you both were badass bitches and had your sweet moments. If you watch Kat's life, which you will see, you'll find out why she is the way she is, it's honestly so sad." Lucy said with a frown on her face. "Anyway, back to the viewing, at this rate, we will be here forever."
