A/N: This takes place in the restaurant when Noah sees a man watching them at the end of the last episode that aired on 5-9-19 and then this will be my version of the Season Finale of SVU that we have not seen yet. This is not the ending I am hoping for with Peter, since the finale is his final episode. In this one, Hank and Olivia are engaged and he is working for Hostage Negotiation with Ed Tucker.

Endgame: Voight Style

Olivia was not happy that Rob Miller had gotten out of jail. It had been bothering her all day. She had taken Noah out to dinner. Hank was still at work, so he told them to go ahead and eat. He would meet them there.

"I want spaghetti."

"You always want spaghetti."

"It's ok, though, right?"

"Of course it is, Sweetie."

"When is Hank going to get here?"

"I don't know, Sweetie."

They had their order taken.

"Mom, there is a man watching us."

Olivia turned around and saw Rob Miller watching them. He then came over.

"Hello, Olivia and you must be Noah."

"Yes, that's me. Are you a friend of my mom's?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am."

Rob touched Olivia's shoulder, which made her cringe and then he extended his hand. Noah shook it.

"Nice to see you again, Lieutenant. I'm sure we will be seeing each other again very soon."

Olivia didn't say a word as Rob left.

"Noah, go wash your hands."

"Ok."

Noah went to wash his hands and she had a clear view of the washroom. She didn't trust Rob and she had a bad feeling when he was there just now. She just wanted Hank there. Noah came back and then Hank arrived with Ed. Hank kissed Olivia before he sat down.

"Sorry, I'm late. Uh oh, what's wrong?"

"Remember Rob Miller, that lawyer that raped Nikki Staines after that NYPD function?"

"Yeah."

"He's out on bail. He was just here and now I can't shake this bad feeling I have. I'm scared, Hank."

"Mom, I thought he said he was your friend."

"He's not, Sweetie. He's a bad man and I do not trust him."

"Babe, I'm not going to let this guy get to you."

"Liv, I won't either."

"If we have to, we can contact Erin."

Hank and Ed ordered what they wanted to eat and then after a while, they all got their food. After everyone ate, they went home. Olivia called Fin and told him what had happened at the restaurant, while Noah went to take his bath, had Hank read him his story and tuck him in. Olivia came in to kiss Noah goodnight. She and Hank went into their bedroom and got ready for bed. The kissed each other goodnight and turned the lights out. Hank pretty much fell asleep right away but Olivia couldn't shake the bad feeling she had. She felt Hank wrap his arms around her, which helped her to relax and then she fell asleep. She ended up being awake more than she slept.

The next day, Lucy arrived to take Noah to school and Hank and Olivia left for the respective Precincts. Hank arrived at his Precinct and Ed was already there.

"How's Liv?"

"She was pretty restless last night. This guy is really getting to her."

"I was just looking this Rob Miller guy up. She has every right to be uneasy."

Ed showed Hank what he had found.

"Shit! Now I can see why Olivia is so uneasy."

"Yeah, no kidding."

They both did their paperwork until the rest of the squad came in. It had been kind of a slow morning for SVU. Olivia had decided to go out to get coffee for everyone. She walked to the coffee cart and ended up almost running into Rob.

"So, Olivia, we meet again. It was so nice to meet your son last night. I hope you enjoyed your dinner."

"Stay the hell away from my son and from me!"

Olivia got her coffees and headed back to the Precinct. By the time she got there, they had gotten a call. Olivia and Carisi left and Fin and Rollins stayed at the Precinct.

"Lieu, you ok?"

"Not really. This Rob Miller guy is really starting to get to me. I ran into him when I went to get coffee. I think he's stalking me. I don't want him to stalk Noah too."

"Isn't that what you have Voight for? I mean, he did move here to be closer to you. I just never thought that he and Tucker would be as good friends as they have become, especially since you and Tucker have history."

"When we broke up, Ed said he wanted to remain friends. One of the times Hank came to visit for the weekend, they hung out and became friends. They did that all on their own. Ed was the one that offered Hank the job in Hostage Negotiation and I'm surprised he took it."

When Olivia and Carisi arrived at the scene, Olivia started to have a bad feeling about it. Off in the distance, Olivia thought she saw Rob Miller.

"Son of a bitch!"

"What?"

"I just saw Rob Miller."

Carisi turned around and saw a figure that looked like him. They got what information they could and waited for the ME to look at the body. They went back to the Precinct to start the investigation. Olivia knew she needed to get her head on straight. Lucy called Olivia and told her that there was a man following them home. She had had enough of Rob Miller stalking her and her family. She called Hank.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"What's wrong?"

"Lucy just called and said Rob Miller was following them home. I'm going to have a Patrol unit put outside the house and probably take Noah to and from school. You still at the Precinct?"

"Yeah."

"He's starting to get to me."

"Ed did a search on him this morning. Now I'm getting a bad feeling about this guy too. Why don't you take a few days off and stay home."

"I would love to but we're in the middle of an investigation and a somehow have a feeling that Rob is involved. I haven't been this paranoid about a criminal since William Lewis. I am going to continue to be uneasy until this guy is behind bars where he belongs."

"I will meet you there and we will go home together."

"Ok. I love you."

"I love you too."

Olivia hung up the phone and then sent a Patrol unit to sit outside their house. She then called Lucy and told her what was going on. Then Peter came in.

"Liv, how's the investigation?"

"So far, nothing but I have a feeling it's Rob Miller again but nothing to prove it. He showed up at the restaurant that Noah and I were at last night. Hank hadn't gotten there yet and I keep running into him or seeing him. I saw him off in the distance when Carisi and I were at the scene just a little bit ago and then Lucy called and said there was a man following them home. I had a Patrol unit sent to our house and then it'll probably take Noah to and from school. This needs to stop. If we don't get him, he is just going to keep getting away with more and making my life a living hell.

"I'll see what I can do to help."

Peter left and made a phone call. The squad continued working and then called it a day. Hank arrived at SVU and then he and Olivia went home. They had dinner with Noah and everyone went to bed. They got up and Noah knew he was going to get a ride to school in a police car.

"This is so cool!"

"It's for your own safety though."

"I know."

The police car arrived and Hank and Olivia went with him, so they could walk him to his classroom. Another Patrol unit sat outside the school, while the other one took Hank and Olivia to the 16th. Olivia kissed Hank and then he took his SUV that he left there the night before. Olivia walked in and went up SVU.

"How is everything?"

"Noah thinks it's cool that he gets to ride to and from school in a Police car."

"How's Voight with all this?"

"He's is surprisingly calm right now but I'm guessing that won't last much longer. He hates when anyone messes with his family."

"You can't blame the guy."

"No, I can't."

Olivia got a call to go to the ME's office, so she and Carisi went. The ME had already gotten the results of the victim's toxicology test and she had the same drugs in her system that Nikki Staines did the night of her rape. They were a little closer to pinning the blame on Rob but not by much. Olivia called Peter and told him that. Olivia and the squad went out for lunch and ran into Rob again.

"Lieutenant."

"Why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?"

"Following me and my son."

"I don't know what you are talking about but anyone that goes against me, never has a happy ending. My source tells me that Peter Stone met with Nikki Staines last night. You have nothing on me."

Rob left and then Olivia was even more upset. After they ate, they went to Peter's office.

"Peter, what the hell is wrong with you? Why didn't you tell me that you were planning to meet with Nikki Staines? Miller knows you did and said that anyone that goes against him, never has a happy ending."

"Nikki wants to help but she doesn't want to be seen talking in the daylight."

"Like I said, he already knows you two have met. Just be careful. Please."

"I will."

The squad left and headed back to the Precinct. Olivia had gotten a message from Nikki that she wanted to talk to her. Olivia took Carisi and headed over to Nikki's apartment. When they arrived, the door was slightly opened and they saw Nikki on the floor with a gunshot wound to her head. Olivia checked for a pulse and couldn't find one. Carisi called it in and they once again had to wait for the Medical Examiner. As soon as they left Nikki's apartment, they went to Peter's office. When they arrived, no one was there, which was unusual. They went into his office and they opened the door and went in. They found Peter on sofa with a gunshot wound to his chest.

"Oh no!"

Olivia felt for a pulse but couldn't get one.

"Damn it, Peter!"

"Lieu, he gone."

Olivia took one of the glasses on the table and threw it across the room, so it shattered into a million pieces. She had tried to maintain her composure but she couldn't. Peter had become a friend after Rafael left and he was teaching Noah more about baseball. How was she going to explain this to Noah? Carisi called the Medical Examiner's office once again and after they took Peter's body out, she told Carisi to take her to Hostage Negotiation. She went up, while Carisi called Amanda and Fin and told them what had happened.

"Hey, Babe, what's goin' on?"

"Nikki Staines is dead and so is Peter."

Hank wrapped his arms around Olivia and she broke down. Hank had known Peter for a long time too. Then Carisi came in.

"Lieu, I hate to interrupt but Fin got a call from Noah's school. There is a hostage situation there."

"This day just keeps getting better and better."

"Let's go! Gear up, everyone!"

Everyone left and Olivia and Carisi went as well. When they arrived at the school, they told Ed what was going on but the guy was refusing to talk to anyone but he had Noah. Hank had called Erin and the FBI soon arrived on the scene as well. Erin was aware of what Olivia had been going through the last several weeks with the Miller case. They had given Ed a description of the suspect and it sounded a lot like Miller.

"How the hell did he get inside the school with the Patrol car sitting outside? If anything happens to my son, there will be hell to pay!"

Fin, Amanda and Carisi tried to keep Olivia as calm as possible but they knew she was upset. She had every right to be. Noah was inside that school and Peter was their friend too. Olivia started pacing back and forth. All she wanted was to have her son in her arms and she wanted that son of a bitch Rob Miller rotting in hell where he belonged. The FBI, along with Hostage Negotiation, went inside the building and started their search. Erin went with Hank and they searched the cafeteria. Other members of the NYPD started moving the kids out of the building and had ambulances waiting to help out with injuries. Olivia decided to take it upon herself to go inside the building.

"Shit! Liv, not a good idea! Tucker."

"Damn it, Lieutenant! Olivia, get back here!"

Olivia had a hunch she knew where Rob was. She found out where the stairs for the roof were and she went up. Ed radioed to Hank that Olivia was in the building, so he told Erin. They went looking for her and hopefully that would lead them to Rob Miller and Noah. Olivia had her gun drawn and was ready to shoot Rob at any time. She saw two people at the other end of the roof and one looked like her son.

"LET HIM GO, YOU SON OF A BITCH! RIGHT NOW! LEAVE MY SON ALONE!"

"I warned you."

"And now you are responsible for the deaths of two people."

"You can't prove anything."

"Then why did Nikki want to talk to me?"

"I have no idea. I'll kill you and your kid, I will walk out of here a free man."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that. The FBI has this place surrounded. Let me have my son. Now!"

"You will get your son back only if I can be guaranteed no time in jail. I'm innocent of everything. Raping and killing Nikki Staines and killing ADA Stone."

"He killed Peter? What? Why would you do that, you mean man?"

"Shut up!"

"Don't tell me to shut up! Why would you kill Peter?"

Noah had tears running down his face.

"Don't be a baby. Only babies cry."

"Don't tell my son not to cry. He's 6 and he just found out that someone he cares about was killed. How do you expect him to feel?"

"Do you think I actually care what he feels? I don't care about anyone. Where's the mighty Hank Voight? I'm surprised he hasn't shown up to save the day."

"He's around here some place. You have me here. Let Noah go and we can discuss this."

"Not unless you can guarantee that I won't go to prison. I am innocent."

"I can't guarantee that. I want my son."

Olivia's phone rang and she saw it was Ed but she declined the call. Olivia then pointed her gun at Rob.

"Let my boy go! Now!"

Rob put his gun to Noah's head.

"Drop your weapon, Lieutenant!"

Olivia lowered her weapon just as Hank and Erin made an appearance. Olivia saw them.

"I need to go the bathroom."

"Hold it."

"I can't. I'm only 6. When I have to go, I have to go."

"Well, too bad. You're gonna hold it."

Hank walked toward where Olivia was, while Erin kept hidden with her rifle pointed at Rob. He hated this guy for what he was doing to his family.

"Let them go!"

"Well, well, well, Hank Voight finally makes an appearance."

"Shut up!"

"What did you just say to me?"

"You heard me. I said shut up. Let the boy go or I will make your life a living hell. Don't think I won't do it."

"Go to hell!"

Noah was starting to get antsy because he really needed to go to the bathroom. He bit Rob's hand, which caused him to drop his weapon. Olivia kicked it out of his reach and then Rob and Hank started fighting. Hank grabbed him by his beard. Olivia saw Erin moving closer to them. Noah got away and ran back towards where Erin was. Ed, Fin, Amanda and Carisi were closer to the door. Noah said he needed to use the bathroom really bad, so Carisi picked him up and ran him to the closest washroom.

"Agent Lindsay, can you get a shot?"

"Yes."

Rob punched Hank again, Hank punched him again and then Erin pulled the trigger on her rifle hitting Rob in the head.

"Good shot, Lindsay!"

"Thanks."

Hank wrapped his arms around Olivia. Ed radioed and said the suspect was dead and they needed the ME.

"Thank you."

"I love him too."

"I know. Where's Noah?"

"Carisi took him to the washroom."

"Liv, why did you take it upon yourself to go in after him?"

"I knew he would only want to deal with me. I wanted to be with my son and this was the only way I could do it."

Olivia gave Erin a hug.

"Erin, thank you so much."

"I love him too and you, Noah and Hank are my family."

Fin stayed, while everyone else headed back down. They met Carisi and Noah on the first floor. Noah ran into Olivia's arms and then Hank wrapped his arms around both of them. Olivia kissed Hank and then they all went outside. They went home and got cleaned up. Hank called Chicago and told Antonio about Peter.

During the next few days after Peter's body had been released from the ME's office, SVU and the DA's office made the arrangements for Peter's funeral and everyone from Chicago, including everyone from the State's Attorney's office flew in to attend. Olivia was going to miss Peter more than she ever thought she would. They didn't start out on the right foot when he came in to prosecute and eventually replace Rafael but she was there for him when he needed a shoulder to cry on after Pam had been murdered just a year earlier and they had become friends. She appreciated everything he had done to help Noah with his baseball skills and she knew Noah was having a hard time with Peter's death but she and Hank, along with the rest of the squad, were helping him deal with it the best they could. She and Hank told Noah that as soon as school was out, they were going to get married and then they would all take a much needed vacation together. Hank had already started the paperwork to make Noah his son.
