Chapter 05: Mania

Group A, Worth Woodsea, Fiore - X784

"N-Naked Mummy was trashed by just two wizards?" Zatou on Naked Mummy coughed out from where he was dumped, just as brutally beaten as his guildmates.

"Y-You've got to be kidding me..." Gatou murmured. "Naked Mummy was beaten by just-"

"Enough of the copying already!" Bell April snapped at the two, which was enough to shut them up.

"What was with these guys?" Natsu Dragneel wiped his sweaty brow. "They weren't small fry at all."

"Really?" Happy noted from above. "But Bell handled them so well."

"Well, I am Wizard Saint-level, after all." Bell huffed as he started to walk away, prompting the others to follow after him. "Let's go."

"Shouldn't we question those guys?" Happy asked.

"Minions like them aren't likely to know Oración Seis's HQ." Bell replied. "It's likely that they were just stationed here to either tire us out or be fodder for if the Rune Knights got sent instead."

"I see!" Natsu pumped his fist into his palm. "So what do we do next?"

Bell paused in his walk before suddenly flinging his clenched fist and firing a powerful compressed shot of water. The ballistic water blast soared towards it's target, only to explode harmlessly a meter away when a blast of wind detonated it prematurely. "Let's interrogate this one next. He looks strong and important."

"Well, I certainly didn't expect to see such a high-end fish along with this flame-brain brat." The man who had dispersed Bell's water shot with a wind blast of his own cackled gladly from a high tree branch. "Long time no see, Leviathan! And you as well, Salamander! I really owe the both of you for separate pains in my ass..."

"Hey, you breezy bastard!" Natsu cheerfully greeted back. "Long time indeed! How's it hangin'?"

"We ain't got that kinda relationship, bub!"

"Erigor." Bell's eyes narrowed at the criminal mage. "Last I heard of you, you got arrested for wanting to assassinate a gathering of Guildmasters with a Demon of Zeref. You think a guy like you would prioritize reinstating your dark guild instead of revenge against Fairy Tail."

"Nah, I beat his ass personally." Natsu grinned cheekily. "And to think Happy said that it'd be better to leave to Lucy."

"Natsu, do you have memory problems I should be aware of?" Happy deadpanned before frowning. "Wait, nevermind. You of all people forgot your own siblings."

"After the destruction and disbandment of Eisenwald, I wandered as a free agent until Oración Seis scouted me..." Erigor floated off the tree until he was before the dragon slayers. "Considering their plans and how much of a goody two shoes your whole guild is, it was a matter of time to wait for the chance... to get revenge on you flies! After I'm done, the Reaper will truly be reborn!"

"Oh? A revenge match against Natsu?" Bell took a step back to let his little brother handle it. "Sounds interesting. It's been years since I've seen you really fight, and those Naked Mummy weaklings behind us don't count."

"Sounds interesting!" Natsu cracked his knuckles.

"[Air Magic: Aerial]!" Ren Akatsuki deployed a spell that conjured a translucent dome of spinning air currents against his opponents, immediately disorienting the ones that had tried to charge at him.

"I can't breathe!"

"My eyes are getting cloudy!"

"My ears are ringing!"

"I've lowered the oxygen content in the air within there." Ren coolly explained. "You should no longer be able to even stand."

Eve Tearm himself stood alone while the other members of Black Unicorn surrounded him.

"What's with this guy?"

"He's got such a cute face~!"

"Let's play with him!"

"Hm?" Eve smirked at the dark mages. "Trying to make me angry?"

When they all tried to leap at him just like they had with his guildmate, they were immediately engulfed with sudden swathes of snow slamming into them. "[Snow Magic: Whiteout]! I'll steal your visibility and freeze your bodies!"

By the time he was satisfied with his handiwork, all of Eve's enemies had become mostly buried from the localized blizzard. "Still want to play?"

"S-S-S-S-S-Strong..."

"P-P-Please excuse us..."

Group B, Worth Woodsea, Fiore - X784

"Damn you, Lamia Scale..."

"We'll show you a thing or two..."

"What's this?" Lyon Vastia muttered at how in sync the Red Hood dark mages were in their drawing movements. "What are they trying to do?"

"Pict Magic?" Jura Neekis realized. However, it was too late.

"""""""[Unison Pict]!"""""""

Performing a {Unison Raid}, all of them summoned... many pink furred squirrel-like creatures with axes.

"G-Goblins?" Lyon balked.

(KingVessel: Seriously, Mashima? 'Goblins'?)

"Ooh, they're so cute!" Sherry Blendy squealed.

"Don't let your guard down!" Jura warned. "They are..."

Before he could finish, they were all forced to guard their faces when the 'goblins' rolled up and launched themselves at the mages, bouncing and hitting hard enough to bruise them.

"Kick their butts, Sherry!" Lyon blasted his assailants away with a wave of cold wind.

"[Wood Doll]!" Sherry's possessed tree smacked away the goblins attacking her, the woman wincing at the pitiful sounds of pain they made. "I feel kind of bad now..."

"Yes, that's perfect..."

"While they're distracted by our cute little goblins..."

"""""""[Unison Pict]!"""""""

Once more with their Pict {Unison Raid}, the Lamia Scale were now faced with a Pict wyvern as their next foe.

"This is quite annoying!" Jura exclaimed as he and his guildmates evaded the wyvern's charge. "[Iron Rock Spikes]!"

Summoning multiple spikes of stone to bind the wyvern in place, Jura called for his guildmates to finish it off. "Lyon! Sherry!"

"[Ice-Make: Snow Tiger]!"

"[Doll Attack: Rock Doll]!"

While their attacks were powerful enough to launch the wyvern up into the sky, it had ultimately failed to kill it.

"As expected of a construct born from a {Unison Raid}, it's incredibly sturdy." Jura commented as the wyvern regained it's bearings and sought to divebomb them. "[Invocation: Iron Rock Powder Explosion]!"

Several immensely dense spikes of stone erupted to greet the wyvern's descent, easily tearing through the body and forcing the construct's destruction. Recoiling in shock and terror, the dark mages were too shaken to even keep their goblins present.

"So much for our wyvern!"

"Does it even matter what we do next?!"

"Pray that you're sturdy enough to withstand my next attack, you callous fiends." Jura glared up at the callous dark mages. "[Iron Rock Gauntlet]!"

A mountain-sized plume of earth erupted from the impact of his spell.

Bell watched stoically as powerful shockwaves blew past him, making sure not to let Happy get blown away. 'Erigor's gotten quite a bit stronger. As for Natsu...'

"[Fire Dragon's Iron Fist]!"

"Bring it!"

Natsu's flaming fist smashed into Erigor's aeromantic shield, the two elements tearing across the sky.

'Normally, wind is a very advantageous matchup against fire right below water or ice. But it looks like Natsu's actually overpowering Erigor.' Bell noted. 'The moment Natsu breaks away from that clash...'

Natsu broke away and spun about midair, kicking up viciously as flames trailed after his heels. "[Fire Dragon's Talons]!"

"Urgh!" 'This magical power... Compared to before, it's on a whole other level!' Erigor observed as the dragon slayer touched down. "Brat! You've improved quite a lot!"

"Sorry 'bout this, Erigor..." Flames blazed Natsu's entire body now, his expression serious. "I can't properly enjoy this fight while those bastards still have Wendy. I'll have to roast you real quick."

"Stop talkin' like that'll be so easy, you damn fly!" Erigor roared. "Be shredded apart! [Emera Baram]!"

Bell frowned at the incoming spell and immediately put up a protective shield of supercompressed water. "[Sea Dragon's Shield]."

It slightly shook when {Emera Baram} slammed down, the powerful winds tearing apart the landscape in one vicious swoop.

"How do you like that destructive power?" Erigor cackled from above. "I haven't been playing around either. I've been training to get revenge ever since!"

"That's so stupid." The dust cleared away to reveal the still ablaze Natsu. "Revenge, again? Just like last time, you're so obsessed over stuff like that, Erigor..."

"What?!"

"C'mon... There's gotta be some other reason that's got you fired up..." Natsu grinned. "The reason an 'assassin' like you didn't sneak a shot in while we were dealing with those monkey guys."

Erigor's jaw dropped slightly before huffing in agreement. "Yeah, you said it. Thinking about it, Eisenwald and Oración Seis don't really matter that much to me right now... As a mage, I JUST CAN'T STAND THE THOUGHT OF BEING WEAKER THAN YOU!"

"THERE'S THE SPIRIT!" Natsu roared, his flames surging even wilder. "NOW, BRING IT ON!"

Wind spiraled around Erigor's fists as he dived towards Natsu, roaring determinedly himself as the Fairy Tail mage copied his moves with his fire.

"[Magic Wind Palm]!"

Once again, the earth erupted from powerful wind shockwaves slamming into it with Natsu as the target. However, Natsu had already leapt up and towards the assassin, tearing through the dustcloud.

"[Blazing Fire Dragon Fist]!"

Natsu's fists rained into Erigor's body with the force and speed of bullets, leaving him unable to defend from the onslaught. 'I... I'm no... match...'

With a victorious grin, Natsu dropped down hard enough to crack the rocky ground.

"Your fighting style is just as upfront as I remember it to be." Bell commented. "Although, you are a lot stronger now."

"'course I am!" Natsu roared before suddenly grabbing the unconscious Erigor by his collar and shaking him. "Hey, you! You're important to those bastards, right?! Tell us where they are!"

Group C, Worth Woodsea, Fiore - X784

"How do you think the others are faring?" Lucy Heartfilia fretted.

"They're probably fine." Gray Fullbuster grunted as he pulled a vine out of his way. "That Bell's probably able to reel Natsu in better than we can."

"Plus, they're our best trackers, along with being dragon slayers." Erza Scarlet noted. "There's little need to worry, Lucy."

"There they are!"

All three Fairy Tail members turned forward to regard the many dark mages rushing towards them.

"Well, time for a warmup before the rematch with those bastards." Gray cracked his knuckles.

Erza Requipped into one of her combat armors while Lucy sighed as she fished out a Golden Gate Key.

"[Ice-Make: Saucer]!"

"[Black Wing Armor]!"

"[Open up, Gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus]!"

While Taurus appeared and eagerly leapt into battle with Gray and Erza, Lucy wondered at how used she was becoming to screams of pain and terror caused by her friends.

Wendy Marvel sighed as she finally finished healing Jellal Fernandes, only to keel over against the wall. While healing Angel hadn't exhausted much, the same couldn't have been said for Jellal. Now, she couldn't even recover properly as she struggled to stand and soon fainted. "I'm so sorry, Bell-nii... Carla..."

"Wendy! Carla!"

"Finally! Wendy, Bell's nearby!" Carla perked up before shouting back. "BEEELLLL!"

Soon enough, the other two dragon slayers entered into the cave's entrance along with Happy, Natsu halting at the sight of Jellal while Bell gave a blank stare at the unconscious Wendy.

"Why are you here...?" Natsu growled hatefully at the blue-haired man. When he received no reply, Natsu charged at him with his fist ablaze. "Jellal!"

Unfortunately, Jellal gave no hesitation in blasting Natsu away with a burst of golden light. However, Bell blitzed past Natsu to slam his own fist into Jellal's side, smashing him deep into the wall.

Immediately looking away, Bell targeted Brain next and punched at him. "[Sea Dragon's Maelstrom Vortex]!"

Brain choked as a massive tornado of water slammed into him and tore the surrounding walls apart, flushing him deeper into the cave's systems while Midnight slept on nearby, the water parting around him.

"I'll be back for you after I've gotten my sister and Carla to safety." Bell huffed as he turned to regard Jellal, only to see him already gone without having bothered anybody. "What the...? Nevermind, Wendy and Natsu take precedence. Carla, Happy, carry your dragon slayers."

"Aye, sir!" Happy and Carla immediately complied, carrying them away while Bell followed after on foot.

He put on the black coat, now rid of his unsalvageable former clothing after taking the unconscious silver-haired man's clothes. His mind was a jumble of unsettled thoughts and glitching images...

But at least, he had a somewhat clear idea of what to do regarding Nirvana that Brain had usually been talking about.

Still... "Erza..."

Oración Seis HQ, Worth Woodsea, Fiore - X784

Brain coughed as he crawled out of the muddy water. "What a mess. While Wendy fulfilled her part in healing Angel and Jellal, that damned Leviathan's gone and messed things up! And since he's shown no signs of returning here... Cobra, can you hear me?! Follow after Jellal! Nirvana should be where he is heading!"

Random area of the Worth Woodsea, - X784

"Okay, I hear you." Cobra stood up from the tree he'd been resting against, Cubellios sliding down from it to coil along his shoulders. "And I've already heard Jellal's footsteps."

Oración Seis HQ, Worth Woodsea, Fiore - X784

Brain hissed after he was now completely dry before eyeing the general still sleeping on his flying carpet. "I never thought I would have to wake him up like this... Midnight!"

At his call, Midnight's body jerked before sitting up and awakening.

"Awake?" At Midnight's confirming hum as the young man got off the carpet, Brain's smirk returned fully assured. "There are enemies interrupting our work. Get rid of every last one of them."

"Yes... Father."

"I know you are here." Jura spoke up, glad that he had sent his guildmates ahead. He need not hold back his strength, nor worry for them. "Show yourself."

Jura was proven correct when the earth beneath him immediately softened, many tendrils rising to bury him within.

"As expected from a Wizard Saint... yes!"

From the earthen cocoon, many stone cylinders burst it apart as they were launched towards Hoteye, only to halt and soften away when slamming against his magical barrier.

"My magic softens the earth, and your magic hardens the earth, yes!" Hoteye spread his arms out passionately. "So then, which one is stronger, yes?"

Jura went into a stance. "Naturally, it is not the superior magic that counts, but the one with greater ideals!"

"That is not the case." Hoteye replied with a smile. "The winner, since time immemorial, is the one with the money, yes!"

Jellal kept at his pace, now within a pit with a massive tree seeped in dark miasma.

Some distance behind, Cobra kept at his stealthy trailing. 'Hmm... I can't hear this guy's thoughts. If only I could do so, I wouldn't have to follow him like this.'

Jellal finally came to a stop before the tree, noting the chains binding it to the surrounding fixtures. Now that he could do so, Cobra gaped at how he hadn't noticed the change in terrains as he'd been focusing on not being noticed by his target. "Where the hell is this? Are we still in the Woodsea?"

Even as he got no answers, Cobra couldn't help but gaze upon the magical tree that he could now feel was the cause for all of the 'infected' flora in the Woodsea. "Could this be like Brain said? Is this where Nirvana..."

Stepping forward to place his hand against the tree, Jellal pushed forth his magical power and caused the surrounding chains to shatter apart.

There was a sudden swell of energy before a pillar of black energy shot up to the heavens, visible to all within the Worth Woodsea.

'Finally, we've found it!' Cobra was in awe at the sight of it. 'Our future!'

"I'm so glad you're okay, Wendy!" Lucy sighed in relief as her group rejoined with the dragon slayers and the winged cats.

"How is the current state of Oración Seis?" Erza questioned Bell.

"I attacked Brain, along with a man identified as Jellal." Bell reported, raising a brow at their shocked looks. "I only dished out single attacks with the purpose of getting them all away. As such, they're definitely still active in the Woodsea."

"Jellal?!" Erza grabbed Bell's shoulders hastily. "Are you sure about that?!"

"Yeah, I saw that bastard!" Natsu growled from where he'd been arguing with Gray. "Those Oración bastards made Wendy heal him up from his injuries."

"I'm sorry..." Wendy wilted, even as Bell placed a reassuring hand on her head.

"Knock it off." Bell tilted her head so that they were looking at each other. "It's not your fault. Carla herself admitted to be used as a hostage. Add in your exhaustion from using a Secret Art, and there's no way anybody can blame you."

"Indeed." Carla huffed as she flew up to sit on Wendy's shoulder. "So stop being foolish in blaming yourself."

"Yeah, it's their fault." Bell's voice deepening to a low growl, the sound of crashing waves echoing off the bluish aura he was starting to give off. "It's a good thing that we were already given permission to kill them all."

While the others except Wendy, Carla and Natsu tried to comprehend the sheer killing intent he was giving off, Bell continued with his quiet death threats. "It won't be simple drowning. Maybe I'll just send a Roar down their throats while holding them in place. Or maybe, I'll just flood this entire fucking forest and turn it into an actual sea. I've certainly got the magical power for it."

"Aniki, we'd all die from that." Natsu calmly pointed out. "Only Happy and Carla can fly."

"Oi, Natsu." Gray hesitantly called out. "Aren't you rather calm with how weird Bell's acting?"

"What are you talking about?" Natsu clenched his fist tightly, the temperature around him spiking uncomfortably high. "Those bastards held my sister and her cat hostage and made her resurrect Jellal of all people. You think I'm calm? Trust me, Gray, I am very well aware of how destructive my rage can be, especially in a flammable forest that still has my friends in it and are still too close to me."

By now, all of Natsu's guildmates were staring at him in shock. Being used to his usual fiery rage, nobody knew how to handle a Natsu with a calm fury.

Taking a deep breath, Natsu exhaled deeply before the temperature lowered down to safe levels. "So, we've gotten back Wendy and Carla. Erza, what's the plan and how soon can I get to kicking asses?"

Just then, they all saw the pillar of darkness pierce the heavens. All around them, the infected trees bent and creaked towards the pillar as the miasma was ripped out of them to satellite the pillar in massive tendrils.

"A pillar of black light..." Wendy gasped.

"Is this... what they wanted Jellal for...?" Carla muttered. "Is that Nirvana?"

Right at ground zero, Jellal quietly observed the releasing energy, especially when towers and buildings began to rise out from the earth.

Cobra wasn't as composed. 'We've got it! We've got it! It's... It's ours!'

"What the hell's that light?" Lyon braced himself against the powerful winds nearly blowing him and Sherry of their feet.

"Could that be Nirvana?" Sherry gasped in worry.

Pausing in their battle, both Jura and Hoteye stared in shock at the pillar.

As did Ren and Eve.

As well as Hibiki and Ichiya from beside Christina's wreckage.

And Angel from the location she was, before a gleeful smirk crossed her lips.

Oración Seis HQ, Worth Woodsea, Fiore - X784

"Father..." Midnight smiled at the sight of the pillar. "Is that...?"

"Th-There's is no mistaking it..." Brain answered, feeling the sheer potency of the magic despite the distance. "Jellal has indeed unsealed Nirvana...!"

"Congratulations." Midnight gave a cruel smirk. "All of those guild mages will be wiped out... before midnight."

Midnight turned back to face Nirvana. "Father, you head for that pillar."

"Is that Nirvana?" Gray asked.

"So it was awakened by Oración Seis first?" Lucy guessed.

"...so basically, there's at least one member of Oración Seis over there." Before the others could stop him, Bell disappeared from their sides, rushing towards the pillar.

"Bell-nii!" Wendy shouted, only to yelp when Erza rushed after him. "Erza-san?!"

"What in the world is that?" Jura clenched his shaking fists. 'This magic... I feel like my very soul is trembling...!'

"Nirvana, yes!" Hoteye answered. "Please, do not worry. The main part has not yet begun. What we are witnessing is merely it's seal being released. However, this is definitely worth a lot of money, yes!"

'Th-This is just the seal being released?!' Jura grimaced as Hoteye's pleased laughter filled the air. 'There is no time to fight this man, but... The whole point of this joint mission is to destroy Oración Seis...'

"Money! Money!" Hoteye spread out his arms in joy. "Now, we will truly become rich and eat till we're full, my broth-!"

Hoteye suddenly choked on his words, his eyes widening before a distraught scream escaped him. Stunned beyond words, Jura could do nothing but stare as his opponent started to mentally break down.

"It switches light for darkness?" Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki asked. "That is what Master told you?"

"Yes, Commander." Hibiki Lates replied as he checked over Christina's systems. "It's basically the final stage. When the seal is released, the 'pillar' of black light rises up."

Ichiya turned about to regard the pillar once more. "Meeen..."

"First, there's the black light... The people in between the light and the darkness switch to the opposite element."

"If a light-aligned person happens to be feeling a powerful negative emotion right at this moment..."

Bell breathed heavily through his teeth as he headed for Nirvana, aware of Erza being close on his heels. Normally, he'd be far more interested in how the cheetah-like attire she'd donned fitted her very attractive body.

"...they fall into darkness underneath the black light."

But now, there was plenty of rage blocking his libido, with the current miasma wildly clinging to him now. His ears and nose twitched before noticing a group of armed people in his way, all dressed in racing outfits.

"Is that the bastard who killed Racer-sama?!"

"We'll show you the power of Racer's personal guild, Harpyia!"

'Ah?' Bell's eyes turned murderously cold. 'That ingrate had personal minions?' "[Sea Dragon-]"

Bell's spell halted when Erza's boot slammed into the back of his head and smashed him face down into the earth. By the time he'd recovered from the disorientation three seconds later, she stood before him with a cross expression while Harpyia laid around them defeated already. "They were mine!"

"To kill or to subdue?" Erza shot back.

"Why do you care?" Bell snarled. "They work for the bastards who kidnapped my sister and forced her to resurrect a murderous criminal!"

"I am aware of that, Bell." Erza gently replied, her hard expression softening. "But just because deaths aren't prohibited in this mission, it doesn't mean that they are permitted."

The two S-class mages stared each other down with Nirvana being the only sound around them until Bell calmed down with a huff. "Fine, fine. I'll... calm down."

"Good." Erza's shoulder's sagged with visible relief. "I did not fancy my chances against a dragon slayer of your caliber. Natsu himself is already so troublesome to fight. I do not imagine that you'll be possessing similar weaknesses."

"Other than motion sickness, no." Bell said as he walked up to her and gave her a blatant lookover. "What does this do other than making you even sexier than normal in the jungle girl sense?"

"It mainly enhances my speed." If Erza had any problems with his words, she didn't show it.

"Huh. In that case..." Bell walked past her and patted her shoulder. "Better keep up, then."

Then the air burst from how fast he'd blitzed towards Nirvana. A second later, Erza had easily replicated the effect.

"In other words, when Nirvana's seal is lifted, the ones currently overwhelmed by feelings of resentment or realization will flip into an alignment that makes those thoughts normal to have?"

"That's why Master implied I was to keep silent about the type of magic it was, Ichiya-sama." Hibiki said. "Imagine a priest getting murderous or hedonistic tendencies, a constantly depressed person essentially being choked with happiness they didn't feel minutes ago, a kind person reacting with violence to every gesture. A callous murderer suddenly getting a huge distaste for conflict of any kind."

Hibiki sighed as he connected a few of the spare lacrima into their appropriate slots. "When people become focused on things unlike them, like an old forgotten memory or a startling unacceptable change, Nirvana amplifies the resulting emotions too high for comprehension. "If it wasn't for them...", "How did this happen?", "What have I been doing?", Nirvana judges and upheaves them all."

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

Jura helplessly watched as Hoteye scratched at his face. "Uh..."

"Money?! No, I need money! We've always needed money!" Hoteye ranted to himself or an invisible person. "How else was I supposed to feed you?! What do I have if not money?! What are you saying is more important than money?!"

"Wh-What are you saying?!" Jura called out. "Answer me, Hoteye!"

"...money?" Hoteye suddenly calmed down, an enlightened smile on his face. "I need no such thing, indeed."

Jura's jaw dropped from the sudden change in character.

"I have been all frantic about my long-lost brother!" Hoteye started to sob heavily. "I thought... If only I had money, I could feed him! If only I had money, I could find him... indeed! But now I realize that I took it too far... indeed!"

"What."

"So, I have decided to no longer fight such an upstanding man like you!" Hoteye declared. "For money is inferior to love, indeed! Brotherly love, indeed! Familial love, indeed! I shall fill the world with love, indeed! Oh, how it just overflows with sweetness and compassion, indeed!"

Before he could react, Jura suddenly found himself being hugged tightly by Hoteye, the large man's tears pouring onto his bald head.

"Now, let us stop the violent acts of my former allies!"

"Um..."

Eve panted as he rushed away via the tree branches, being pursued by an Oración Seis member he hadn't anticipated in the slightest.

"[White Fury]!" Blasting out a wave of snow to bliend his pursuer's view, Eve roughly landed onto the ground before immediately moving away after another snow magic attack.

*CRACK!*

But still, it was no use as something impacted his back hard enough to crack a few ribs, sending Eve careening across the ground.

Landing beside him, Midnight eyed him dispassionately. "One down, fourteen to go."

"Wh-What the hell are you?" Eve tried to get up and crawl away. "My magic keeps bending away from him..."

"Oh? Still alive?" Midnight commented before raising a boot above Eve's back. "That's no good. I have to be thorough in my work if I want to enjoy my sleep."

Midnight's boot came down, and with it, Eve's screams of pain rose up.

KingVessel: Just so you're wondering, yeah, Bell was affected by Nirvana. Good thing Erza followed after him, even if she just wants to go after Jellal.
