Chapter 57 Elysium

In the woods Yuya was walking forward together and he was holding Soul Calibur in his hands.

He stares at his blade and could tell theres more to it than what he even knows.

"I wonder what it can do more?" He said.

Yuya stares at the blade before he senses someone coming. "What?"

Apollyon came down and Yuya avoided his axe again.

"You again!" Yuya said.

"That's right, i'll be cutting your head." He said.

Yuya takes out his lockseed and driver. "Henshin!"

ORANGE!

He inserts it.

LOCK ON! SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS! HANAMICHI ON STAGE!

He changes into Gaim and gets ready with both daidaimaru and Soul Calibur. The inves rider gets ready and he chuckles.

The two clashed together as they traded blows but the evil rider hits Gaim away making him grunt.

Gaim then kicks him and uses Soul Calibur to freeze him, Apollyon saw him take out Kachidoki but he breaks free punching Gaim and hitting the lockseed away.

"No way! Your not using that!" He said.

"Of course you would do that trick." Gaim said.

"I won't let you get what you want, since I will break you!" He charges at him.

Apollyon swings at Gaim making him block with the swords but he got overpowered sending him through many trees.

The dark rider then saw Gaim fly up as he had Mastema on with the wings spread out.

"So trying to fly away!" He charges his axe and swings energy slashes at him.

Gaim had to dodge as he moves around avoiding the attacks. Then the dark rider slashes twice.

GRAPEFRUIT AU LAIT!

He swings his axe around sending many energy slices hitting Gaim as he grunted failing down to the ground.

Gaim gets up slowly as Apollyon loams over him. "Without your father's powers, you stand no shot!"

The dark rider raises his axe to attack but the Soul Calibur glowed.

"What?" He looks at it.

It made ice come out stopping him before a light brings it and Gaim up, Apollyon got freed and looks up.

"What's going on?!"

Gaim changed as his wings grew even bigger with blue parts, his armor was like a dimanoid blue with the body suit white, he has two angel wings for the crest on the helmet as he stares down at the rider.

"What are you?!" Apollyon said.

Gaim looks at him. "Gaim."

He appears in front of the dark rider and slashes at him making the dark rider grunt, they clashed many times with Gaim having the advantage before slashing him with both swords.

"How is this possible?!" He said.

Gaim charges at him and kicks Apollyon making him grunt, Gaim slashes at him many times making the overlord grunt.

Then he appears behind him and kicks the enemy away as he fell down to the ground.

"How can this be?!" He got up. "That's not a lockseed's power! Could it be from that sword?!"

"Most likely." Gaim said.

Apollyon slashes his lockseed.

GRAPEFRUIT SPARKING!

He powers up his axe and slashes at him as Gaim slashes once.

SOIYA! ORANGE SQUASH!

He slashes against him as they clashed but he got sent flying away making him explode, Apollyon sees his form glitching. "No!" He makes a portal to leave inside of it.

Gaim changes back and he sees his sword.

"This sword really helped me." He said.

He saw a light come out and it made a angel like being with blonde hair.

"Who are you?" Yuya said.

"I am Elysium, the spirit of the sword."

"The spirit? So your the one that gave me that power." He said.

"Yes, to destroy the great evil you must purge it from the world." She said.

He frowns at the wording of what she said.

"You want me to kill everything you see as darkness?" He said.

"It's the only way." She said.

He shakes his head surprising her. "You can't have the light without the dark, it's part of us all. Even you."

"No! I don't have any evil!" She denied it.

"Really? Because killing a innocent without question is evil." He said making her flinch.

"I know you want the evil to vanish, but we can't judge others for having a bit of darkness. I know people that just tried to do what they think it's best. Misguided yes, but evil no." Yuya said.

"Then I shall see your ways, i'll be watching." She goes inside of the sword.

Yuya stares at it and looks up to see the sun. "I will show there is a better way. We don't need to go to the extreme of one side."

He won't become a tyrant of either evil or those that abuse the light. Theres a balance that is better than simply use these ways.

He won't accept Claudette's old plan and he won't follow Elysium's ideals since that would hurt others too.

"I will be the King they deserve but not a tyrant. Just wait and see Elysium. You shall see." He puts the sword away and flies with Mastema.

He gets his lockseed back and puts it away before going to the sky.

Yuya knows with Soul Calibur he got a new form he just hopes he can grow even stronger without her messing with him.

He was now up in the sky watching down his kingdom and he smiles seeing them smile.

"Hey Yuya." he saw Nanael come towards him.

"Nanael?" he said.

"I came for a visit, so wanna hang out with me?" she goes up to him.

Yuya sighs. "Maybe."

She smiles and drags him away. "Yes!"

He blinks since he never expected her to like him after they're first meeting.

'She's really one strange girl.'

He spent time with her since Nanael is not the worse girl he could spend time with, that's more Elina since she's such a brat.

Note: Gaim new form comes from Soul Calibur powering him up and he met the spirit inside as she couldn't change his views.
