A/N: I am in the process of updating Townhouse Incident – The Crossover but it has actually been a while since I wrote anything for this one. I came up with this idea while watching last night's (1-27-21) episode of PD. It actually has nothing to do with the episode, so it doesn't matter if you saw it or not. This is a bit short though. I don't own any of the characters.

Playful

Chicago could be a lot colder than New York but Olivia had no regrets about marrying Hank and moving to Chicago. She had come home from a late night case and she was freezing. It had been snowing as well. When she arrived at the house, she went in, locked up and started taking all her layers off. She shut off the lights and headed upstairs to look in on Noah, who was sound asleep. She went over to his bed, ran her fingers through his curls and kissed his forehead. She then went into her and Hank's bedroom. He was asleep as well, which meant he had had a long day. She grabbed her pajamas and went into the bathroom to get ready for bed before getting into bed with Hank. She kissed his cheek and snuggled up against him. Compared to her in her flannel pajamas and socks, Hank slept in sleep pants and a short sleeve T-shirt and Noah had started doing the same ever since she and Hank got together but she at least got Noah to wear long sleeve shirts when it was cold. They kept the house fairly comfortable but she was having a hard time warming up. Feeling playful, Olivia put her freezing cold hands under Hank's shirt on his bare chest and stomach. That woke him up.

"Hello to you too."

"I am so cold. I need your body heat to warm me up."

Hank wrapped his arms around Olivia to warm her up.

"This is nice. I remember there was a time when I would come home to my freezing cold apartment and have no one to snuggle with on cold nights like this. Sometimes the heat would be out when it was so cold. When I moved into the last apartment, at least I had Noah to snuggle with."

"You got me for that now. None of the other men in your life liked to snuggle?"

"You're joking, right?"

"Actually, I wasn't. I was just curious."

"No, they did not. I never really had an emotional connection to any of them like I do with you. You know when I need to be held without me having to say anything. None of them ever did. The only time Ed did was after Dodds died. Were you always like this?"

"Yeah. I loved holding Camille and after she got sick, she was so cold all the time. Being able to do this was one thing I missed."

"I don't know why I can't warm up tonight. I warmed up my SUV before I left the District but I don't think I warmed up the entire way home. Why are you always so warm?"

"I just am. I do get cold when I'm out there too. I know how to warm you up."

Hank unbuttoned Olivia's pajama top and put one of his warm hands on her chest and stomach.

"You like that, don't you?"

"Oh definitely! Someone is frisky tonight."

"It's been a while."

"Yes, it has."

They undressed each other, started kissing and made love. Afterwards they were wrapped in the blankets in each other's arms and they were both out of breath.

"You feel better?"

"Oh yeah! We haven't had a "workout" like that in a while."

Hank started smirking and then they kissed again.

"Hank, have I told you how much I love you lately?"

"You probably have but I always like hearing it."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

"You have made me so happy in the time we have been together. I'm just sorry it took me so long to realize that you were the one I really wanted to be with. I love the life we created together."

"I do too. So, what do we want to do on our day off tomorrow?"

"I think we should just stay in bed for most of the day."

"That sounds like a plan to me."

"Maybe sometime we should see if Noah could stay with Trudy and Mouch and then we can get away for a few days."

"I love that idea more than you will ever know."

"Good."

They started kissing and made love again before they fell asleep in each other's arms. Both of them were looking forward to spending a quiet and not so productive day alone while Noah was in school.
