Obsessed

Olivia was attending Fin and Phoebe's wedding that ended up being more of a party as they had held off on the wedding for the time being. She had invited Hank but he was right in the middle of a case, so he wasn't sure he could make it. He had told her that if he got done with the investigation, he would be there. Lucy was staying with Noah. What Olivia didn't know was that Elliot had been invited. Ever since he had been back in her life, he had become obsessed with her. He would not leave her alone even though she had told him multiple times that she had someone in her life and for the first time in a long time, she was happy. He didn't care. He wanted her for himself.

Hank had finished the case and Jay had told him they would be fine. He had just arrived in New York. He had gone to Olivia's to change. Noah was so excited to see him. Elliot was watching Olivia's apartment. Lucy was planning to take Noah out for pizza. When Elliot saw Hank leave, he was pissed. Why would Olivia choose to be with that guy over him? No one could possibly love her more than he did. With Kathy out of the way, he had hoped that nothing would stop him from being with the woman he really wanted to be with. He thought about following Hank but he figured Olivia's precious son would be an easier target. He knew what he had to do. Once Hank was out of sight and he saw Lucy and Noah leave, he followed them to the Pizzeria. He watched them go in and then he waited by the back entrance near the restrooms. A little while later, he had seen Noah go into the restroom. Elliot put a ski mask on and waited in the other stall. Once Noah was done, Elliot put his hand over his mouth and put his gun to his head. He took him out the back entrance, gagged him and put him in his car. He drove to where the wedding was. He got Noah out of the car and dragged him in. He saw Hank kissing Olivia. His Olivia. He was pissed. He tightened his grip around Noah's arm. Noah tried fighting him by stomping on his foot. Lucy had frantically been trying to get a hold of Hank or Olivia since she had found out he hadn't returned but neither one was answering and neither was anyone from her squad. He had stayed out of sight until the right time. He grabbed Noah's shirt and then went in. They all saw Noah with the gun to his head. Elliot still had the mask on but Olivia knew those eyes anywhere.

"What the hell, Stabler!"

"I want you to choose between me and this asshole. You have 5 seconds to choose wisely or I'll kill your kid."

"Let my son go! Now!"

"Not until you dump him and run away with me. We can go to Italy."

"I get you're in pain because of losing Kathy."

"I don't give a shit about Kathy. I never did. Her being killed was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. Now, I want you and only you for the rest of my life."

"I'm sorry but I love Hank. I've been in love with him for 6½ years."

Elliot removed the safety from his gun.

"There is no way in hell that he loves you the way I do. No one can."

"You haven't been in the right frame of mind since you've been back. I never loved you romantically. Ever."

"Bullshit! When I told you I loved you when you were there with my kids that night, I meant it. My feelings for you are very real. I put my feelings out there in that letter. That was real."

"I told you that I was with someone. He's the one I love. I was involved with Ed Tucker for a year and if he was still here, I'd even choose him over you if I wasn't with Hank. Hell, I'd even choose Trevor Langan over you if I wasn't with Hank. My point is, I'm in love with and engaged to be married to Hank. Let me make one thing perfectly clear, I would not choose you if you were the only man on earth. I'm not even that happy that you're back in my life. My life was perfect until you came back into it."

"You don't mean that."

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I do. You haven't been in the right frame of mind lately. Not that you ever really were in the right frame of mind."

"Like you're just so perfect."

"I never said I was perfect. You just seem to think everything needs to revolve around you. I told you I'd be there for you as a friend but there was never going to be anything more between us because I'm happy. You're the one that can't seem to get over your obsession with me. I have even talked to your kids about your latest obsession with me and they said they have pretty much noticed since what happened to Kathy. Did you really expect that I was going to be available when it was convenient for you to come back into my life?"

"Actually, I did. We were meant to be together. That has never changed and never will. I will never stop loving you."

Olivia had dialed Kathleen's number and then she picked up. Hank had his hand on Olivia's back.

"Keep your hands off of her."

"You wanna take this outside. You do not want to piss me off."

"I could beat the shit out of you easily."

"Huh! I doubt that."

"Give it up, Stabler! Dumb ass!"

"Shut up, Fin."

"I'd beat the shit out of you too."

"Is this guy for real?"

"Unfortunately, he is."

Elliot let Noah go and pretty much shoved him at Hank. He then grabbed Olivia and now had the gun to her head.

"Let her go!"

"I will never let her go. She belongs with me. She just needs to see that."

Elliot smelled Olivia's hair.

"You smell so good."

"You're sick!"

He then moved his hand to her breast and started squeezing it.

"Stop it! Don't touch me like that."

"You are really turning me on right now. Do you feel me on your leg? That's what you have always done to me."

"You're making me sick. This is not the Elliot I know."

"I'm in love with you. Come away with me."

"The only place you are going is a jail cell some place, Stabler."

"Jail would be too good for him as far as I'm concerned."

Noah went over by Amanda and Hank was pissed. He put Elliot in a headlock and started squeezing his throat. Chief Garland called for Patrol.

"Let her go! Now!"

Elliot then elbowed Hank in the stomach.

"I will never let my Olivia go. She's mine! She wants me. Not you. Why would she want you when she could have someone as wonderful as me?"

"Don't flatter yourself. You're not all that wonderful except in your warped mind. I already told you I didn't want you. I want Hank. I love Hank. My life is with Hank."

"Don't say that. I know you love me as much as I love you. You were just with him until fate brought us back together. We could be so amazing together in bed and out of bed. Years ago, I could never act on my feelings for you because I was married. Now that Kathy is out of the picture, we can finally be together. You can be a real mother to my kids. Like I already told you, I'm glad she's finally out of the way. I never gave a shit about her."

Hank and Elliot then started fighting as the Patrol Officers arrived. Hank was able to get the gun loose from Elliot's hand. Patrol then took Elliot into custody. Olivia grabbed her phone.

"Kathleen, are you there?"

"We all are. Thank you for that."

"I'm sorry you had to find out about your dad that way."

"Don't be."

They heard a gunshot and then they all ran out to the street except for Amanda and Noah. A family member of someone Elliot had locked up had shot him in the head and one of the Patrol Officers had shot the suspect.

"Olivia, what's happening?"

"Someone just killed your dad. I think it was a relative of someone he had locked up. As soon as I leave here, I'll come to you."

"Ok."

Olivia ended the call as the ME arrived and took Elliot's body to the Morgue. Olivia then wrapped her arms around Hank.

"Hank, thank you."

"I'll do anything to protect you and Noah. You already know that."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Liv, you ok?"

"Yeah."

"I was actually looking forward to trying Stabler in court."

"That guy was actually in SVU?"

"Yeah. We were partners. He hasn't been in the right frame of mind for a while."

"Are you ok with what happened?"

"Honestly, yes."

"Liv, I just called Sergeant Bell."

"Ok. Thanks, Chief."

"You're ok?"

"Yeah."

"If you need a few days to spend with your son and fiancé, it's fine. I'm sure Sergeant Tutuola will be fine."

"Always."

"That sounds like a plan to me. I could use a few days."

Then Amanda came out with Noah just as Lucy showed up. Noah hugged both Hank and Olivia and then he went to hug Lucy. Lucy took Noah home and then Olivia and Hank went to see the Stabler kids. As soon as Kathleen opened the door, she grabbed Olivia for a hug. The other 4 did the same thing.

"This has not been a good year for us."

"It hasn't. Like I told you after you lost your mom, I will be here for you. I don't like how he has been acting lately but I'll support the 5 of you the best I can."

"Thank you. Does Sergeant Bell know?"

"She does. Chief Garland called her and let her know.

"Ok."

"This is my fiancé, Hank Voight. Hank, this is Maureen, Kathleen, Dickie, Elizabeth and Eli Stabler."

"Nice to meet you."

"You too."

Olivia told them everything that had happened before she had called Kathleen.

"He actually told you he was glad Mom was out of the way?"

"Yes, he did."

"Unbelievable. We're so sorry you got in the middle of this. Your son too."

"So, what's next?"

"I guess you need to make arrangements. I want the 5 of you to know that you will be a part of our family. If you want to spend holidays with us, we will be more than happy to have you. Won't we, Hank?"

"Absolutely."

"When is your wedding?"

"Mid-July. Hank is planning to retire at the end of June and move here. The wedding is a few weeks later."

"That's great. Where do you live now?"

"Chicago."

"Wow! Long distance must be hard."

"Sometimes it is but we have managed to make it work."

Everyone continued talking for a while and then Hank and Olivia left. They went back to Olivia's apartment and went upstairs.

"Lucy, thank you for all your help tonight. I'm sorry it took us so long to respond."

"I was starting to freak out when Noah was missing."

"I'm sure you were. Did he go to be without any problems?"

"He was a little wound up but he finally fell asleep."

"Good. If I can get Hank to stay a little longer than the weekend, I'm probably going to take a few days off. Even if he doesn't, I may anyway."

"Ok. If you need me for anything, call."

"We will. Thanks."

Lucy left and then Hank and Olivia locked up. They went into her bedroom to make love before going to sleep. Olivia spent the entire weekend with her boys. The next several days were going to be rough for the Stablers. They made the arrangements for Elliot's visitation and funeral. Like Olivia said, she would be there for them. After the funeral, she started spending more time with them and they had become part of the family. Hank and Noah didn't hold what Elliot had done to them against the rest of the family and the kids even started a relationship with them as well. They had also met Erin, Olive and Daniel and everyone seemed to hit it off.
