A/N: This is part 2 of the previous chapter, "No Memory of You" and there will probably be another one. I don't own any of the characters.

Not Giving Up

During the next few weeks, Olivia had worked hard with her physical therapy and was released from the hospital. Elliot kept insisting that she could stay at "their" place but she ended up staying with Alex. Alex knew from Hank what had happened with Elliot. Olivia still felt nothing for Elliot. She still kept thinking about the man and the boy. Alex had plenty of room in her condo. Casey and Melinda came over a lot as well.

"How are you feeling, Liv?"

"Some days are better than others. I just wish I could remember. I'm surprised Elliot isn't over here every chance he gets. Why don't I remember our relationship or living with him before the accident?"

"What's the last thing you remember prior to the accident?"

"I remember investigating a case and I was on my way back to the Precinct, so I could head home for the day."

Olivia got up and went to get something from the other room before she rejoined Alex, Casey and Melinda.

"I found this in my stuff. Am I engaged? I want someone to give me a straight answer."

"Yes, you are engaged and it's not to Elliot."

"Maybe that explains why I don't feel anything for him. Is he the guy that was with me when I woke up?"

"Yes."

"He might be the guy I keep thinking about. Does he have a son with curly brown hair and blue eyes?"

"He does."

"I wonder if I could go visit where I was living before just to see it."

"I'll make a call."

Alex called Hank and said Olivia was remembering more. She wanted to go to their brownstone. He said it was fine, so the 4 of them got into Alex's car. She drove over to Hank and Olivia's brownstone.

"I live here?"

"Yes, you do."

"What does my fiancé do?"

"Hank works for the NYPD in Hostage Negotiation. He's a Lieutenant."

"I'm engaged to a Lieutenant? How'd that happen?"

"Let's see if you remember anything."

They got out and Alex unlocked the door, so they could go inside. There were pictures placed all over the place, so Olivia looked at them. She saw one taken at Disney World.

"I remember when this one was taken."

"You do?"

"Yes. We went for Spring Break a couple years ago."

Olivia walked around and then she headed upstairs. She opened the door to Noah's room before she went into the master bedroom. She went in and looked around. She then sat down on the bed. On one of the bedside tables, there was a picture of the two of them in their uniforms.

"I'm a Captain?"

Then Melinda, Alex and Casey came upstairs and into the master bedroom.

"I'm a Captain?"

"You are."

"Then what is Elliot?"

"He's still a Detective."

"How did that happen?"

"Sweetie, he left the NYPD 10 years ago. He just recently returned."

"So, he lied to me?"

"He did."

"He's been lying to me about everything, hasn't he?"

"Yes, he has. He claims this was his chance to make things up to you for the last 10 years."

"I remember delivering his and Kathy's baby and a shooting in the Squadroom."

"He left right after the shooting. Apparently he's been in Rome as an NYPD liaison. Not too long after your accident, he and Kathy had just gotten back to town. She got into their rental and it exploded. She died from her injuries."

"So, that justifies him lying to me? Unbelievable. Am I in charge?"

"You are."

"Are either of you the ADA?"

"No. Dominick Carisi is."

"He was a cop."

"Yes, he was. He took the ADA position around the same time you were promoted to Captain."

"Melinda, you're still with the ME's Office, right?"

"I sure am. I'm the Chief Medical Examiner now."

"Fin still works with me, right?"

"He does. Cragen and Munch are both retired."

"Am I Elliot's boss?"

"No. He's now with Organized Crime. Does this room trigger any memories?"

"I think it does. I feel like I'm safe and loved here."

"You said you remembered when the Disney World picture was taken?"

"I do."

Olivia continued to walk around taking it all in and then she wanted to go to SVU, so they got into Alex's car and she drove there. Hank, Ed and Al happened to be there, since the two units had worked on a case together. When the girls got there, they went upstairs.

"Hey, Liv."

"Hey."

Olivia walked around, while Alex talked to Hank.

"How's it go?"

"She's starting to remember. She remembers when the Disney World picture was taken and she remembers feeling safe and loved in your bedroom. We did tell her that Elliot has been lying to her."

"Does she know about Kathy yet?"

"She does."

Hank went into Olivia's office and she was sitting at her desk.

"Did I yell at you in here?"

Hank couldn't help but smile.

"You did. You didn't like how I was in the Interrogation Room and you actually threatened to arrest me."

"How long have we been together?"

"We've known each other for 6½ years and we've been together for 3 of those years. We got engaged for Valentine's Day a year ago. Do you remember any of that?"

"We were in Hawaii when you proposed, right?"

"That's right. We were gonna take the whole family but I really wanted it to be just the two of us when I proposed. I tried to make it as special as I could."

"I think I remember it. We had a romantic dinner and then we went for a walk along the beach. You proposed on the beach."

"That's right."

"Olivia had tears running down her cheeks."

"Why are you crying?"

"Because I finally feel like I'm making sense of my life. I don't feel like you're lying to me. I'm sorry it took me so long to remember you. I found my engagement ring in with my things and I started wondering if I was with someone who wasn't Elliot. I think he was trying to force me into marriage because he wanted to make up for the last 10 years. I felt nothing for him when he told me we were together. Whenever I would close my eyes, I would see a boy with curly brown hair and blue eyes and a brown-eyed man. I'm pretty sure the man was you. How old is your son?"

"Actually, he's our son and he's 7. His name is Noah."

"Who is the other little boy in the Disney picture?"

"That is Daniel, my grandson. He's 5. His mother is Olive and the other one in the picture is my daughter, Erin. You're basically Mom to her too. My son, Justin, who is Daniel's father, died 4 years ago."

"I think I do remember that."

"If you don't, it's ok."

"What happened to your hand?"

"I punched a window in my SUV after someone pissed me off."

"Elliot?"

"Yeah, it was him."

"He tried telling me someone hit him but he didn't do anything."

Hank told her what had happened.

"It sounds like he deserved it to me.

"He also tried filing charges against me with Internal Affairs but it was dropped because I had several people backing up my story."

"Is Tucker your boss or is someone in trouble?"

"He's my boss. The two of you were in a relationship before we got together."

"Why did it end?"

"You had wanted to focus on Noah but you two remained friends. He had transferred out of Internal Affairs while you were together."

"His cousin went to jail."

"That's right. We got together after you ended things with him but we were long distance until a year ago."

"Chicago?"

"Yeah."

Everyone in the Squadroom was watching their interaction.

"Would it be ok if I came home? Maybe it would help me."

"Of course. If you want to be there by yourself, I can take Noah and stay with Erin."

"You can stay. If my life is obviously with you and Noah, then I need the two of you there with me."

"Whatever you want."

"Thank you. Would it be asking too much for you to hold me?"

"Of course not."

They sat down on the sofa and then Hank wrapped his arms around her. Olivia relaxed in Hank's arms and felt that was where she belonged. It felt right. Whenever Elliot had tried to hold her, she tensed up and it didn't feel right. Now she knew why. It had been unfortunate for both SVU and Hostage Negotiation that Organized Crime was also involved with the case. Elliot had brought their files over.

"Not him."

"Sergeant Bell didn't have anyone else that she could have sent over? You can't be here."

"Why? Oh, wait, the Psycho Lieutenant is probably here. Since when do you back someone like that?"

"He's a better cop than you are and we have learned how to get along considering we both had feelings for Liv at the same time. When he told her he would transfer here, I asked if he would be interested in joining Hostage Negotiation. We became friends before he even moved here. You've always been the problem. You're the one that instigated the entire thing and got what you deserved. If I was still with Internal Affairs, there is no way in hell you would have been allowed to get your job back."

"You can always retire. If Alex is here, that must mean Liv is here."

"So what if she is. I believe she asked you to leave her alone."

"I'm still not givin' up on us bein' together. Is she in her office?"

Elliot headed towards Olivia's office but she had heard him, so she got up. Hank was right behind her.

"I thought I told you to stay away from Liv!"

"Elliot, I know you've been lying to me."

"Why did you tell her?"

"I didn't."

"I told her. I thought she had the right to know."

"Cabot, it wasn't your place."

"Then when did you plan to tell her?"

"After we were married by then it would have been too late for anyone to do anything about it. We have always belonged together."

"I don't think we did. What about your family?"

"What about them?"

"I know about Kathy."

"It is what it is. I should have left her a long time ago."

"Stabler, you walked out on your partnership with Liv and your job with SVU 10 years ago, which to me was no big loss but yet now you're actin' like you were the one that was by her side waitin' for her to regain consciousness the entire time. You said you didn't care about what Liv has been through or who she belongs with. I don't give a shit about your feelings and I never did. I feel bad for your kids because they lost their mom the way they did and because now you're their only parent. You don't give a shit about any of them. You don't give a shit about anyone but your own damn self. It would have been fine with me if you had been the one to die in that explosion and not Kathy. The best thing you can do for Liv is to stay the hell away from her."

Elliot was balling up his fist and he wanted to punch someone. He really wanted that someone to be Hank but Fin was making him the bad guy when that should have been Hank. Although Alex was the one that told Olivia the truth, which was unforgivable. He took a swing at Fin but Fin had ducked out of the way and he ended up getting Olivia instead.

"What the hell, Stabler!"

Hank once again punched Elliot. Melinda looked at Olivia's eye, while Casey went to get Olivia some ice.

"Elliot, I'm not going to tell you again, stay the hell away from me!"

"I never lied to you. He did."

"You lied when you told me we were together. I didn't know who he was until today."

Then Casey came back.

"Here, Sweetie."

"Thanks."

Olivia put the ice on her eye.

"Hank, take me home."

"You got it."

Hank put a protective arm around Olivia, glared at Elliot and then they left.

"Now I suppose you're gonna go to IAB and try to cause trouble for Hank."

"He punched me."

"He had every right to. You punched Liv."

"Maybe since IAB won't deal this, I'll deal with it myself. The sooner he's out of the picture, the happier I'll be and then Liv and I can get married."

"She doesn't want you. What part of that do you not get?"

"We were fine until she left the hospital and wouldn't go home with me."

"Lyin' to someone who doesn't remember is the worst thing you could have done."

"I wasn't lyin' when I said I wanted to marry her."

"She didn't remember the two of you ever bein' together and she felt nothin' for you. Go back to Organized Crime and stop harassin' Liv and Hank."

Elliot glared at Alex before he stormed out.

"Carisi, can you get an emergency Restraining Order?"

"Yeah, sure, Captain Tucker. Both Precincts, their house and Noah's school?"

"Yep. Get one for Cabot too."

"Got it."

Carisi left.

"Ed, you didn't have to do that."

"I don't like the way he looked at you when he left. It's better to be safe than sorry."

"Ok."

Ed made a call to IAB and told them what had happened. After he was done talking to IAB, he hung up and had Patrol sit in front of their house. He told them what Stabler had said about handling things himself if IAB wasn't going to handle it.

"Damn, Tucker! Even though you're no longer with IAB, you still got it."

"Like I told him, if I was still with Internal Affairs, he never would have gotten his badge back. He's just bein' selfish."

"He always has been as far as I'm concerned."

"Yeah, he has. He and Amaro were why I was always so hard on everyone. Amaro and I have worked out our differences but apparently Stabler never will. It's good that Liv is startin' to remember events in her and Hank's relationship, like how he proposed."

"That is a good thing. It's also a good thing that she never remembered bein' in a "relationship" with Stabler."

"It is. I couldn't just sit by and let her live a lie like that. She deserves better than that. We want her to get her memories of her life with Hank and Noah back as much as she does. Elliot just wanted her to remember what he was telling her to make himself look good."

"Maybe I'll go check on her later."

"I will too. Patty has to work tonight anyway."

"I'll go too, since I have to take her stuff anyway."

"Me too."

"Me too."

"Meredith and I will head over there too."

"Ok, let's finish up with this case so we can head over there."

Everyone worked on the case. It was time for Noah to come home from school. Hank had called Lucy to tell her what was going on and he needed her to pick up Noah. He said he knew there were Patrol officers outside the house. Lucy had gone to get Noah and then there was a knock at the door. Hank looked to see who it was before he answered it. It was Carisi.

"Hey, Carisi."

"Hey, Lieutenant. How's Liv?"

"She's asleep right now. Come on in."

"Thanks. I can't stay for long."

Carisi came inside.

"Captain Tucker wanted me to get an emergency Restraining Order against Stabler, so as of right now, it's in effect. He can't come to either Precinct, your residence or even Noah's school. He also can't come within so many feet of any of you outside of those places. Here's your copy."

"Thanks."

"No problem. I hate that Liv has to go through all this. I know she doesn't know who I am right now though."

"She's been askin' a lot of questions. They're mostly about you, Rollins, Kat, Al and Chief Garland. She remembers some parts of her relationship with Ed. She remembered his cousin was arrested."

"It seems like she's rememberin' bits and pieces though."

"She is."

"I gotta get back."

"Ok. Thanks for doin' this."

"No problem."

Carisi left and went to deliver Alex's copy of the Restraining Order to her and had Elliot's copies of both delivered to him. A little while later, Lucy and Noah arrived. They opened the door and came in.

"DAD?"

"IN HERE."

Noah went into the kitchen.

"Lucy said Mom was home."

"She is but there is still a lot she doesn't remember. If she asks you a lot of questions, just be patient with her. If she doesn't remember, tell her it's ok. She's upstairs asleep right now."

"Ok. What's for dinner?"

"The lasagna I made last night."

"Yum! So, why is there a cop sitting outside?"

"Because the guy that kept sayin' he and your mom were together is threatenin' us. Your Uncle Ed decided to send someone over to watch the house."

"Ok."

The doorbell rang, so Lucy went to answer it. It was Alex, Casey, Don and John.

"Hey, Lucy."

"Hey. Come on in."

"Thanks."

"Sure."

Everyone walked in and then they went into the kitchen.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"How is she?"

"She's takin' a nap right now."

"We heard you punched Elliot again."

"Yep. He just doesn't know when to quit. I'm guessin' he must have threatened us because we have Patrol cars outside and Ed had Carisi file an emergency Restaining Order. He can't come to either Precinct, here or Noah's school. He also can't come within so many feet of us outside those places."

"I have one too. Ed didn't like how Elliot looked at me as he left the Precinct. You might want to give the school a copy of that too, just so they have it on file and make sure they know what is going on. Who knows what he may try to do."

"Ok."

"Now that I've gotten to know Tucker, I can see why he was the way he was."

"Yeah, me too."

"He made the call to Internal Affairs himself after you and Liv left and after Stabler had already left. He told Ed that if IAB wasn't going to take care of things, he would take care of it himself. Ed took that seriously and had Carisi get the Restraining Order."

"After me and Stabler got into it before and Stabler wanted to file charges against me, Ed knew they wouldn't stick."

"He would. I'm guessing Stabler's IAB file is pretty thick."

"I can only imagine."

Hank's phone rang. He noticed it was Dr. Lindstrom, so he answered it. When he was done talking, he hung up.

"That was her therapist. He's comin' over a little later, so they can talk. I wouldn't be too upset if she didn't remember what that Lewis guy did to her."

"She could eventually."

"Yeah, I know. I know everything could just hit her at once. I'm not givin' up on her."

"None of us are. Fin asked when she was still in the hospital what would have happened if you and Liv were married in this situation. I told him that was a good question."

"That is a good question. I'm not sure I can answer that either. It was hard seein' my first wife die from cancer but this is just as hard. She is tryin' so hard to remember our life together."

"She will."

"I really hope so. We have the wedding comin' up at the end of the year and I want nothin' more than to be married to her."

"We all want that."

Just as Hank was putting the lasagna in the oven, Olivia started screaming. Hank went up to the bedroom.

"Hey, it's ok. I'm here."

He then wrapped his arms around her.

"I got you."

"Was I ever sexually assaulted?"

"Yeah, you were. A couple of times. One of those times, the guy kept you for 4 days and he beat and burned you. You have scars from him on your chest, stomach and arms."

"I saw a man with a scar near his eye smiling at me and then he shot himself in the head."

Hank got his phone and looked up William Lewis. He then showed Olivia.

"Is this him?"

"Yes. Please hold me."

Hank put his arms around her again and held her for a while. She then got up and went into the bathroom, while Hank waited for her in the bedroom. While she was in the bathroom, she undid her top and looked at herself in the mirror. As she looked at her scars, she remembered what he had done to her. She started to break down again, so Hank opened the door and held her. Hank helped Olivia button her top and then they went downstairs. Noah was in the family room doing his homework but he came into the kitchen.

"Hi. I'm Noah."

"Hey, Noah."

Noah gave his mother a hug.

"I remember this case I worked on when I found a little boy sleeping in a dresser drawer. I ended up going to court every time there was a hearing and not too long after that, the Judge in Family Court asked me if I wanted to foster the little boy. I wanted to be a mother more than anything, so I said yes. A year later, I was your mom."

"Wow! That's so cool!"

Noah hugged Olivia again and then they went to sit in the family room. Everyone else looked at each other.

"She remembered William Lewis."

"I guess she needs to remember both the good and the bad."

"She asked if she had been sexually assaulted. I told her she had. She then looked at her scars in the bathroom."

"You had to tell her the truth. She was already lied to by Elliot. She doesn't need that."

"I know she doesn't. She remembers how and where I proposed, she remembered yelling at me in her office when we first met, she remembers finding and adopting Noah, she remembers some of her relationship with Ed, like his cousin being arrested and she remembers William Lewis. She's made progress and that's just today."

"Definitely."

Olivia came back into the kitchen.

"So, Hank when is the wedding?"

"We had planned to get married on New Year's Eve. I don't wanna rush you if you don't wanna get married. All I want is for you to focus on gettin' better."

"You are the exact opposite of Elliot. All he wanted to do was get married. Every time he tried to kiss me, I'd move my head and he would get my cheek. You just go for my cheek or forehead."

"I don't wanna frighten you."

"I want you to kiss me."

Olivia went over to Hank, so he could kiss her.

"We may have to do more of that later. Of course there's something else I may want to do too."

"We'll talk about that later."

The doorbell rang again, so Hank went to answer it. It was Ed, Al and Meredith.

"Hey."

"Hey. How are things goin'?"

"She's rememberin' more."

Hank told them everything Olivia was remembering.

"That's good, right?"

"Yeah, it is. Dr. Lindstrom called and he is comin' by later, so they can talk."

"That's good."

"Thanks for getting' the Restraining Order."

"No problem."

Everyone went into the kitchen and Hank checked the lasagna before he put the garlic bread in.

"Tutuola said he and Phoebe would probably be comin' too. Rollins wasn't sure. If she could get her mom to watch the girls, she'd come. You plannin' to take off again?"

"I probably should. Somethin' tells me Stabler won't care about the Restraining Order. I need to protect her."

"We can keep Patrol at the house as long as it takes. They know who is and isn't allowed near her or you. I wanna put in for some time off. Patty wants to take the boys to Washington, DC when they get out of school."

"Take your time off. I'm good. I'm sure I can get someone to stay with her."

"Thanks. After you and Liv left, I called and had a talk with Sergeant Bell for sendin' Stabler with the files. She said she specifically told him she did not want him to be the one to bring them but he insisted. I told her what happened with Liv and she said she does not blame you for bein' upset."

"I can't deal with him right now."

"I get it. He's been a pain in my ass for a long time. He can go to IAB and complain about you all he wants but I still know people."

"I'll be the first to admit that I'm not perfect but I'm tryin' to be better for Olivia."

"I get it. Stabler isn't perfect either but he never thinks he's the problem. I did my homework before I brought you and Al into the unit. You're good at what you do and you get the job done. It's my job to protect the people in this unit."

"I used to say that about my former unit."

"I also still care about Olivia."

"I know you do. I think we surprised her as to how well we got along."

"We sure did."

Olivia came over to them.

"What are you two talking about?"

"You."

"Oh."

"How are you feelin' after what happened before?"

"I'm ok."

"Good. You probably have these somewhere yourself but you can look at these."

"Thanks."

Olivia looked at the pictures, while Hank went to check on dinner. He then went to get some of the pictures from their trips, so she could look at those later. Trevor, Melinda, Erin, Fin, Phoebe, Amanda, Carisi and Kat all arrived and then they all had dinner. Everyone told stories hoping to trigger Olivia's memory. Olivia had remembered the trip to Paris after looking at Ed's pictures. After dinner, everyone relaxed, while Olivia looked through the pictures Hank had given her and Erin and Meredith cleaned up the kitchen. Noah had gone upstairs to finish his homework. A little while later, the doorbell rang, so Hank went to answer it. It was Dr. Lindstrom.

"Hey, Doc."

"Hank."

"Come on in."

"Thanks."

Dr. Lindstrom came inside.

"How is everything with you?"

"I'm hangin' in there but it's been a lot to deal with. She has started to remember some things."

Hank told him what she was remembering.

"That's good. She needs to remember both the good and the bad but it'll take time."

"I know. It's been hard on Noah. This is really the first he has seen her since before the accident. I told him that she may ask a lot of questions and to just be patient with her. We have a bunch of her friends and current and former co-workers here. Everyone was telling stories trying to trigger her memory."

"That's a good thing. I will work with her the best I can too."

"I appreciate that. I've been trying to take things slowly with her because I don't want to frighten her, so whenever I have kissed her, it's been on her forehead or cheek. She asked me to kiss her on the lips, so I did. She said we would have to do more of that and maybe something else as well. I told her we would talk about it later. How do I handle this?"

"To be honest, being intimate with her could help her. How long before the accident had that happened?"

"Just hours before."

"If it's what she wants, then go along with it."

"So let her initiate it?"

"Right."

"Ok."

The doorbell rang again, so Hank answered it. It was the group from Intelligence, Trudy, Mouch, Dan, Rafael, Nick and George.

"Hey, everyone!"

"Hey! You surprised to see us?"

"Always. Come on in."

Everyone came in and Hank introduced them to Dr. Lindstrom. Noah had come out of his room and saw who was there. He came down to say hi.

"Hi."

"Hey, kiddo. How's it goin'?"

"I'm ok."

"So, Voight, how's Liv?"

"She's been rememberin' more, so it has been a busy day for her."

"There's a cop sittin' outside."

"I know."

Hank told them what had happened with Elliot.

"When I had talked to Don recently, he had told me what Elliot was doing. That was the worst thing he could have done."

"I was talking to Trudy at Molly's and she had mentioned what Olivia was going through. It's hard enough when someone can't remember their past but yeah, lying to them does make it worse. Natalie Manning went through the same thing a few years back. She couldn't remember much and then that Philip guy was just making things worse for her. He faked their engagement and was becoming possessive of her."

"I remember that. That's what happened with Olivia. Olivia just never felt anything for him. She was tellin' her friends that when she closed her eyes, she saw a little boy with brown curly hair and blue eyes and a brown-eyed man. She just didn't know who we were."

"You said she has been remembering more?"

"Yeah."

Hank told them what she had been remembering.

"That's encouraging. When Trudy said they were planning to come out here, I decided to come with. I figured I might be able to help out in some way but I see she's got someone she can talk to."

"I'm probably one of those people she won't know but I'm still here to help her. I've been working with her since what happened with William Lewis. I know she worked with Dr. Huang years ago."

"Yes and if I can help her, I will."

Everyone headed into the kitchen and family room, while Noah had gone back upstairs. Olivia recognized George right away but Hank re-introduced everyone else to her. Everyone talked and tried to help trigger Olivia's memory. Dr. Lindstrom then told her he wanted to talk to her in the other room. She agreed and he had also asked George and Dan to accompany them. The 4 of them went into the living room, while everyone else stayed in the family room.

"Are you back to work?"

"I went back to work a few weeks ago but I'm probably gonna take some time off again. Ed wants to take time off when his wife's sons get out of school, so they can go to DC. I'll have to be back at work by then. Right now, I need to protect her. It probably would be easier if we were married because I could take a family leave. She's still gettin' paid because the accident happened while she was on the job."

"What do they know about the person who hit her?"

"Lucky for him, he's dead."

"I agree with Voight."

"He had drugs in his system. Different things but the largest amount was heroin."

"So, was this idiot out partyin' the night before and then got behind the wheel of a car?"

"It's quite possible."

"I wish this had happened to someone other than Liv. No one that's here though. I hate that she's goin' through all this shit."

"Stabler maybe?"

"Works for me."

"Me too."

"Is that her former partner?"

"Yeah and because she remembered him, he took it upon himself to lie to her about the extent of their relationship. He was gone for 10 years but he acted like he was the one that was by her side waitin' for her to wake up."

"All he seems to be doin' is tryin' to get Hank into trouble by goin' to IAB. Everything Hank has done to him, he has deserved. The comment he made that if IAB isn't gonna take care of things, then he'll do it himself pissed me off, which is what prompted me to have the emergency Restraining Order done on both Hank and Olivia. IAB informed me that they tried to stop him from comin' back but the decision had already been made. He hasn't changed at all in the decade he was gone."

"You got that right."

"Hank, I know you have Lucy but if you need me to, I can stay with her while you're at work."

"Casey and I can too."

"I appreciate that. I'm hopin' she keeps rememberin' stuff. I'm glad Dan came with you and is workin' with her."

"How are you coping with all this?"

"It hasn't been easy but I've been talkin' to Dr. Lindstrom when I need to. I need to be there for Noah."

"He seems to be handling things pretty well."

"When the accident first happened, I talked to the school about it and they told me they would have the School Psychologist available if he needed it."

"Has he talked to anyone?"

"Not really."

"I've been with him quite a bit since the accident and while he's upset about everything, I think his dancing is a good release for him."

"How are you?"

"It's been hard. Seeing Liv like this has been harder for me than Bunny's death was. Maybe it's because I have a better relationship with her than I ever did with Bunny."

"The two of you have been close pretty much since you met."

"Exactly."

"I think it's good that she's remembering bits and pieces of things. It may take a while though."

"We'll all do what we can to help."

"I appreciate that."

They all kept talking. About an hour later, Hank went upstairs to check on Noah, who had fallen asleep. He covered him with his blanket and then kissed the top of his head. He shut his light off and closed the door behind him before heading back downstairs. Olivia, Dr. Lindstrom, George and Dan were coming out of the living room.

"Is Noah ok?"

"He fell asleep."

"Can we talk to you for a few minutes?"

"Of course."

Hank went into the living room with them, while Olivia headed upstairs.

"What's goin' on?"

"She did pretty well during our conversation. She wants to remember and she told us everything she knew. I would like to see her on a more regular basis."

"I'm good with that."

"I told Dr. Lindstrom that I am just a phone call away. I am for you too. If you need me to come out here just to talk, I can do that."

"Thanks, Dan. I appreciate that."

"I told Olivia that if she wants to talk to me, she can call me day or night."

"Ok."

Dr. Lindstrom left and then everyone else went into the kitchen.

"Where's Olivia?"

"We haven't seen her."

Hank went upstairs and saw her sitting on Noah's bed running her fingers through his curly hair.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. I'm just tired."

"Why don't you go to bed? I'll be up as soon as everyone leaves unless you want me to sleep in the guest room."

"I want things to be like they were before the accident."

"Ok."

Olivia went into the bedroom to get ready for bed, while Hank went back downstairs.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah. She was in with Noah and now she was gonna go to bed."

"Maybe that is our cue to go. We'll see you in the morning sometime."

"Ok."

"Thanks for dinner."

"You're welcome."

Erin hugged Hank and then everyone left. Hank locked up and then he went upstairs. Olivia was in their bed.

"Are you sure you want me in here with you? I don't want to rush you or scare you."

"I think I'll be ok."

Hank went into the bathroom to get ready for bed. He was nervous about this but he would never admit that to anyone. He wanted to make love to her more than anything because it had been so long since they had last been together but he wanted her to be sure that was really what she wanted. A part of him was too afraid to even touch her even though Dr. Lindstrom had told him it could help her. Once he was ready for bed, he went back into the bedroom. Olivia looked to be asleep, so he decided to go downstairs for a while. He went to the family room and put the TV on. Olivia hadn't really been asleep all that long. She got out of bed and went to find Hank. She hobbled down the stairs and found him in the family room.

"I thought you were coming to bed."

"I'm not really that tired."

"It's me, isn't it?"

"As much as I wanna make love to you, I'm afraid to. I don't wanna hurt you."

"I just wanna be close to you. It really doesn't matter to me if we make love. Come to bed with me."

"Ok."

Hank turned the TV off, took Olivia's had and then they went back upstairs. They got into bed, Olivia got into his arms and they kissed for a little while before they both fell asleep.

During the night, Olivia had a lot going through her head. One of the things going through her head was what had happened at Sealview several years ago. She remembered what Lowell Harris had done to her as if it had just happened. She woke up and looked to see where she was. She was safe in Hank's arms. She felt his arms tighten around her as she relaxed and fell back to sleep.

The next morning, she had talked to Hank about what she had remembered during the night. She had also mentioned it to Dan and George when they came over and they both said that was a good sign. They assured her that she would remember everything eventually.

The remainder of the time everyone was there went quickly. Olivia was seeing Dr. Lindstrom every other day and it was helping. She was remembering more and more every day. She was starting to remember everyone from Chicago, along with Nick, Amanda and even Kat and Chief Garland. The more time she spent with the Olinskys, the more she was remembering them and she remembered Erin and Lucy as well. She and Hank did seem to be getting closer even though he was hesitant about being intimate with her like this. It was only a matter of time before he had the woman he loved back and Noah had his mother back. Hank still hoped they would still be able to get married when they had originally planned but he wasn't going to rush her.
