A/N: This is a sequel to "Traumatized". I don't own any of the characters.

Valentine's Getaway

It was the day before Valentine's Day and Olivia had had it with her job. She was still recovering from her attack but she had a great support system. She was sitting at her desk doing paperwork, which she hated, while everyone else was at a call. Hank had come in.

"Hey."

"Hey. Is everything ok?"

"Yeah. I came to pick you up."

"For what?"

"I made arrangements for us to go away for a week."

"Are you serious?"

"I'm very serious."

"What about Noah?"

"Lucy is gonna stay with him after school and get him to dance class the days he goes. Erin will pick him up later."

"Ok, good. So, where are we going?"

"Hawaii. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and you did have a birthday a week ago, so I figured we could use some time alone."

"Have I mentioned how much I love you lately?"

"I don't think you have."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

"Does Fin know about this?"

"He does. Your squad knows how you've been lately."

"When does our flight leave?"

"In a few hours."

Olivia got up and kissed Hank. He helped her with her coat and then they went out to their SUV. Hank then drove home, so they could lock their guns up and grab their stuff. He then drove to the airport and then they got checked in before they went through security. They grabbed a bite eat before they went to the gate. Sometime later, they boarded the plane and waited for it to take off.

After flying for what seemed forever, they landed in Honolulu about dinner time. They went to get their luggage and then they went to get the shuttle to their hotel. Hank had booked a suite. They got checked in and went up to their suite. They decided to order dinner from Room Service instead of going out. They decided what they wanted and then they ordered their food. While they were waiting for their food, Hank helped Olivia take her boots off. They both changed their clothes as well.

"As much as I love having you help me get dressed and undressed, I can't wait until I don't have to wear this anymore."

"I know it's a pain in the ass."

"It'll be nice wearing flip flops instead of boots for a few days."

"I wanted to take you some place warm but just to spend a few days relaxin' on a beach and Hawaii has always been a special place for us."

"It definitely has. It also seems like it has been so long since we last made love, which I know was the morning of my attack."

"I just wanted to give you time to heal."

"My ribs are definitely better."

They started kissing and then there was a knock at the door, so Hank went to open it. It was Room Service bringing their food. Hank told them to put it out on the terrace, so they took it out there and left. Hank and Olivia then enjoyed eating their dinner overlooking the beach and the ocean.

"This is perfect. Thank you so much for doing this."

"You're welcome. I know when you need a break."

"I really did. I'm just glad everything that happened is behind us."

"Me too."

After they finished dinner, they decided to go for a walk along the beach hand in hand. They had both taken their shoes off. Olivia loved feeling the sand under her feet. They had even walked in the water and saw the sunset. When they got back to their suite, they cleaned the sand off their feet and got ready for bed. They got into bed and made love before they fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning, Hank was awake before Olivia was.

"Morning."

"Morning, yourself."

They started kissing and then they made love. Afterwards Hank had his arms around her and she had her head on his chest.

"Happy Valentine's Day, my love!"

"Happy Valentine's Day to you too!"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Olivia got out of bed first and went to the bathroom. While she was brushing her teeth, Hank went in. After he brushed his teeth, they took a shower and got dressed before going down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast, they put their swimsuits on and went to the beach. They found some chairs and put their stuff down. Hank put sunscreen on her and she put some on him with one hand. They got on their chairs and relaxed.

"This is much better than cold New York and working."

"It sure is."

"I do miss Noah though."

"Maybe by the time we go back up to our suite, we can video chat with him."

"That sounds like a plan. I really don't want to know what my squad is up to. Fin is quite capable of handling things whether he wants to or not."

"So is Stabler."

"I wasn't sure what to think when he came back but I'm grateful to him for the part he played in getting the BX9 guys."

"I am too. He offered to take Noah if Erin couldn't stay with him."

"We would still have to worry about him after school though."

"That's just it. Noah asked why he can't stay by himself for the few hours and I told him he isn't old enough and he also needed to get to dance class."

"In a few years, we can do that but I don't know that I'm ready for that. I really don't want him walking the streets of New York by himself. They're not even safe for me and I'm a cop."

"Yeah, I know. It seems like he's growin' up too fast."

"He is."

They decided to go into the water and then they went back to the chairs. A few hours later, they went back up to their suite and contacted Noah on video chat. Hank gave Olivia her Valentine's present. They went to have lunch and then they fell asleep for a little while. Hank had made reservations at a seafood restaurant that had eaten at before. They changed for dinner and went to the restaurant.

"You didn't?"

"I did."

"I love this place so much."

"I know you do. That's why I did it."

"Even after over 5 years of marriage, you never cease to amaze me."

"You never cease to amaze me either."

Hank kissed Olivia and then they went in. They were seated and then they looked at the menu. They had their drink order taken and then the server came back with their drinks before taking their order. The server came back with their soup and salad.

"Thanks you so much for my earrings."

"Your welcome."

"They were easy for me to get in too."

"I'm glad. Noah helped me pick them out."

"He's a good kid."

"Yeah, he is. I'm really proud of him."

"I am too."

They ate their soup or salad and then their main course came out. Olivia had taken a bite of hers and then shared some with Hank. He did the same with his. They finished their meal and shared something for dessert. Hank paid for dinner and then they went back to the hotel hand in hand once again enjoying the sunset. When they got back to the hotel, they made love.

During the rest of their time in Hawaii, they saw some of the sights and did some shopping. They also spent more time at the beach or pool. They left Sunday night, so they would arrive back in New York on Monday morning. When they arrived in cold New York, they got their luggage and headed home. They did the laundry and spent time in bed. While neither of them wanted to go back to work, they had missed their kids. Hank had gone to get Noah at school and he was excited his parents were home. Erin was coming over for dinner, so they got to spend time with both of their kids before they went back to work.

Hank had taken Olivia to the Precinct the next morning and then she went up.

"Welcome back."

"All I have to say is, I didn't miss it at all. I really needed this though."

"Did you miss us?"

"No, not really."

"Thanks a lot, Liv!"

"I'm kidding. Of course I did. I got everyone gifts, including the girls."

Olivia gave everyone their gifts.

"The girls will be excited. I would love to go to Hawaii. All I get from Sonny is an 'I'll think about it'. If it's the cost that he's worried about, we already took them to Disney."

"That's expensive enough. You're a family of 4 and we're a family of 6 but Hank loves spoiling the boys. Then again, he loves to spoil me too."

"I can understand that. I'm still tryin' to get used to this marriage thing."

"I love every minute of it. Hank and I are closer than ever. We needed this after these last few weeks."

"You look happy and relaxed."

"Oh, I am. Let's see how long that lasts. Probably until Chief McGrath comes to check on us."

"He wasn't too bad when you were gone."

"That's good to know."

Olivia went into her office and got caught up on the paperwork that had been on her desk for the last week. Throughout the day, she would occasionally get texts from Hank. She was ready to go back.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
