A/N: This is the third part to 'Sisters in Blue' and 'Surprising Olivia'. There will be a time jump in this one. I don't own any of the characters.

Hank arrived in New York in just a couple of days. When he arrived, he went straight to the Precinct, so he could see Olivia. When he arrived, he parked and went in. When he got up to SVU, Olivia was the only one there and Ayanna and Kate were there as well.

"Hey."

"Hey, Honey."

Olivia got up and went to kiss Hank.

"Congratulations!"

"Thanks."

"Did you just get here?"

"I did. That was a hell of a trip by myself."

"I told you I would have stayed."

"I know you did but you didn't need to leave Noah any longer than you already had."

"He is looking forward to you being here all the time but he said he would have understood if I had stayed longer. He's ok with me being gone now that he's older. He and I had a long talk about Ellie and Johnny D."

"How'd that go?"

"Actually, it went pretty well. He said he understands why I wanted until he was older to tell him. He then asked me if Sheila was in jail and I told him she was. He said he kind of figured."

"Did he tell Connor?"

"He hasn't yet. He asked about it and I told him that Connor's parents had asked about him but then they decided they didn't want to know. I may tell his parents that Noah knows and if they or Connor want to know as well, then I can tell them. They called the other day and asked if Noah could go camping with them Memorial Day weekend. I said I would talk to you and let them know."

"If he wants to go, he can go."

"They also extended the invitation to us too but I said I more than likely had to work

"Campin' isn't really my thing."

"Mine either. I found a few places online and have appointments to see them tomorrow."

"Is Noah comin' with us?"

"He said he wanted to."

"Ok. There's no sense in me tryin' to unpack. If I have to, I can leave stuff at Erin's."

"She's out of town until sometime next week, so she left her key with me."

"That works. What's been goin' on here?"

"Elliot was killed undercover."

"How do you feel about that?"

"Even though he's been an ass since he's been back, I still cared about him."

"I know that, which is why I asked."

"I kind of have mixed feelings about it."

"Actually, I do too."

"Did his cover get blown?"

"We think that's what happened but we're still trying to figure out what exactly happened though. I took full blame for it when I told his family. I guess I have to being the Commanding Officer of the unit."

"Been there, done that."

"Me too."

"Same here."

"I should get back."

"If you need anything, give me a call."

"I will. Thanks."

Ayanna hugged both Olivia and Kate and then she left to head back to Organized Crime. Kate stayed a little while longer and then she left as well.

"How are you really doing?"

"It's kind of a shock but at the same time, it's not. If that makes sense."

"It does."

Hank wrapped his arms around Olivia and then the squad came back. Fin came into Olivia's office.

"Hey, man! Congrats!"

"Thanks."

"How you doin', Liv?"

"Like I told Hank, it's kind of a shock but at the same time, it's not."

"Yeah, I get that. Have you talked to the kids?"

"No, I have not. If they want to talk, they know where to find me. What's going on with the case?"

"Nothin' I can't handle."

"I appreciate you taking some of the workload from me lately."

"I wouldn't do it for just anyone. I'll always have your back, Liv. You know that."

"And I'll always have yours. You know more about me than Elliot ever did."

"I always thought you could have done better than him. I'm glad you ended up with Voight."

"Me too."

Then Trevor came in and headed to Olivia's office.

"Hey, Langan."

"Sergeant."

"How was the wedding?"

"It was great."

Fin left and went to work on the case.

"I have the papers to be signed."

"Ok, great."

Trevor pulled the papers out of his briefcase and they were signed.

"Are you changing your last name?"

"I am but I'm still going to continue to go by Benson professionally. I decided to wait until the adoption was finalized, so I can change both names at the same time. I also need to add Hank to my insurance even though he get his until the end of the year. Besides my paperwork here, I need other stuff redone, like my will."

"I need to redo my will too."

"I will file these as soon as I leave here and then hopefully we can get it done quickly."

"Thanks, Trevor."

"No problem."

Trevor left and headed to the courthouse to file the papers. Olivia decided to leave early, so she said goodbye to her squad and then she and Hank headed home. When they got upstairs, they headed straight for the bedroom and made love. Afterwards Hank had his arms wrapped around her and she had her head on his chest.

"I know it's been less than a week but I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

They kissed and then Olivia set the alarm on her phone. They fell asleep for a little while. Once they woke up, they got dressed, made the bed and then they went to pick up Noah at school. He came out of the building and saw his mom's SUV. He walked over to it and got in.

"Hi Sweetie."

"Hi Mom, hi Dad."

"Hey, kiddo."

As soon as Noah had his seatbelt on, they headed home. When they got home, they took some of Hank's things in with them.

"I need to take some of this stuff over to Erin's."

"I can get help."

"Ok."

Olivia called Fin and asked if any of them could help take Hank's stuff over to Erin's apartment. He said he'd get help and would let them know when they'd be there. When Olivia was done, she hung up.

"He'll get help and let us know when they'll be there."

"Ok, good."

"Are we gonna go look at places this weekend?"

"Yes."

Hank's phone rang, so he answered it. When he was done talking, he hung up.

"I've had an offer on my house already."

"That was fast. Did you accept it?"

"Yeah, I did."

"Are you going to have to go back?"

"The Realtor said maybe for the closing papers but mostly everything can be done online."

"I assume we want to buy something, right?"

"Yeah. Whatever I get for my house will help with whatever we're gettin' here."

"I'm thinking we should get dinner for everyone who helps us."

"That works."

Olivia texted Fin and said they would treat everyone helping to dinner. Fin replied with a thumbs up. Noah worked on his homework and then Fin called and said they were leaving the Precinct. Everyone met at Olivia's and then they headed over to Erin's to empty out Hank's SUV. Once they were done, they went somewhere for dinner.

"Thanks for your help, everyone."

"You're welcome, Captain."

"Once we find a place, we'll need to move it again. Hank just didn't see the point of moving everything in and unpacking it just to repack it again."

"Good point."

They went in and got a table. They looked at the menu and then they had their order taken.

"Lindsay didn't mind you leavin' your stuff at her place?"

"No. It was her idea. She has the spare bedroom and said I could use it until we decide what we're doin'."

"We're starting to look tomorrow. I found a few places that are pretty much in the same general area that I am now."

"That makes sense."

They talked for a while and then they got their food. After they ate, they headed home. Noah finished his homework, while Hank got settled the best he could. Everyone watched a movie and then they all went to bed.

The next morning they got up and got ready. They went out for breakfast before they met the Realtor. They looked at each of the places and they liked all of them.

"What do we think, guys?"

"I like them all."

"Me too."

"I know. I do too. Which one do we like the best? Which one do you see us calling home?"

"I think like this one the best. There's a lot of space."

"I tend to agree."

"I like it here too."

They told the Realtor they liked that place the best and made an offer. They filled out the paperwork and wrote a check before they went home. Hank and Olivia then worked on getting things together for the mortgage, while Noah watched a movie. Later that day, they got a call saying their offer had been accepted.

Within the next few weeks, they had Elliot's funeral and Olivia still had mixed feelings about what had happened. The adoption was final and Olivia had her and Noah's last name changed. Olivia had changed her insurance and they both had their wills changed. Erin was planning a party for them to celebrate their marriage and the group from Chicago was planning to come as well. That was planned to happen after all the kids were out of school and right after Hank and Olivia closed on their new place. The closing on Hank's house was around the same time but Hank had gone to Chicago a few weeks before to sign the closing papers. They were spending quite a bit of time packing. Noah had gone camping Memorial Day weekend with the McCanns.

On the day of the closing, they met at the specified location and went through the paperwork. Once they were done, they went home. That night was the party. Erin had called to invite them to dinner. Olive had come in with Daniel and they had gone to a hotel. They were actually around for a week, so Hank and Olivia knew they were coming in. They didn't know everyone else was. Everyone else had come in and checked into the hotel as well. Fin had gotten a hold of people Olivia had worked with, like Don, George and Nick and they planning to be there as well. They were meeting Erin, Olive and Daniel at the restaurant. They hugged Olive and Daniel when they saw them.

"Papa!"

"Hey, kiddo."

"Grandma!"

"Hey, Sweetie!"

"Congratulations, homeowners!"

"Thanks. We can move in whenever."

"That's great. Not that I'm in a hurry for you to get your stuff out of my apartment."

They all went in and Erin told them they were there for the party, so they were taken to a private room.

"What did you do?"

"We wanted to celebrate your marriage, since you two chose to elope."

"I'm glad we did."

"Me too."

"Hey, Liv!"

"Nick!"

Olivia went over and gave Nick a big hug.

"It is so good to see you."

"Yeah, you too. Congratulations!"

"Thanks. We have a lot to celebrate. Hank and I just closed on a place today."

"Oh, wow! Congratulations on that too!"

"Thanks."

Hank saw the group from Chicago and then they all came over to them.

"Hey, Boss!"

"Hey. You guys behavin' yourselves?"

"Yeah."

"They've been pretty good."

"How are things goin', Upton?"

"Good. Platt has been helping out. I recently took the Sergeant's exam, so I'm waiting to hear about that. Jay sends his congratulations."

"Have you heard from him?"

"Recently, no. I made the decision to move on and I took my ring off. The next step might be divorce papers. It was basically over when he did what he did."

"I'm not much better because of how I just basically up and left. I know he had wanted to propose before I left. I think he's an idiot for doing what he did. You two are married and he should have discussed his plans with you before he made any decisions."

"He should have and I would have supported him. I know he blamed Voight for you leaving for the longest time."

"I know he did and I told him when we finally talked that I didn't want him blaming Hank for it. I basically told him that because he lied about Abby, I didn't think things were ever going to be the way they once were between us. He's the reason his relationships fail."

"Sometimes I wonder if I'm the problem my relationships never last."

"I wondered the same thing. At one point, I wanted to get married and maybe have a kid but I haven't been in any serious relationships since moving here and I'm fine with that. I travel so much anyway but I get to spend a lot of time with Noah when I am home and I try to see Daniel as much as I can too."

Olivia saw some of the Stabler kids, so she went over to them.

"You're here."

"Yeah, we are."

"How are you?"

"It's been weird but we're managing."

"I still have mixed feelings about it all. We hadn't spoken in a while because he wasn't happy when I told him I was in a relationship and happy."

"We even told him to let it go."

"Like I told you at the funeral, I still want to be a part of your lives."

"We want that too."

"How's your grandma?"

"She's doing ok. She's adjusting to living in Memory Care and we spend as much time as we can with her."

"That's good. Have you met my family?"

"No, we haven't."

Olivia took Kathleen, Dickie and Eli over to where Hank, Erin, Olive and the boys were.

"Honey, these are some of the Stabler kids. This is Kathleen, Dickie and Eli. This is my husband Hank, our son Noah, our daughter-in-law Olive, our grandson Daniel and our daughter Erin."

"Nice to meet you."

"You too."

"Erin, thank you so much for this."

"You're welcome. I love you both so much."

"We love you too."

Erin hugged both of them and then Meredith came over to them.

"Hey, Hank."

"Meredith. Thanks for comin'."

"You're welcome."

"I get you're still pissed at me for what happened with Al."

"Erin and I talked the last time she was in Chicago and she told me everything. I know he would have done anything to protect you."

"I tried talkin' him out of it. He was one of the few people besides Erin and Trudy that knew how I really felt about Olivia. Justin knew too. After Al's death, my heart really wasn't in my job anymore. I probably should have retired a lot sooner than I did but the unit kept changin'. I first had to deal with Antonio leavin' and then I had trust Halstead enough to leave him in charge of the unit. Once he left to go to Bolivia, I had to give Upton enough time to get her head on straight, so she could take over, since she's the only one currently a Detective."

"That definitely would not have been something Alvin would have wanted to do."

"Yeah, I know that."

"I could have seen him wanting to retire at the same time you did and he probably would have followed you here.

"No doubt. I probably would have had you two come to Vegas with us."

"What made you decide to elope?"

"We just wanted to get it over with and we didn't want to make a big fuss about it. I suggested it and Olivia was fine with it. She's the one that chose Vegas. If I had ever gotten married again, I would have hoped I would have had either Justin or Al by my side but that didn't happen."

"We really appreciated that Trevor was there for his nephew's bachelor party that weekend, since he was our witness."

"Daniel was actually at a sleepover then, so you could have called me."

"How's the dating situation?"

"Really not much going on there. I had one date and he turned out to be a real jerk. He left me with the bill."

"He didn't?"

"Oh, he did. He went to the washroom and never came back. That was before the food even arrived. A friend of mine tried setting us up and it wasn't her fault that it didn't work out. I wasn't really comfortable with him and there was just something about him I didn't trust. Thankfully I met him at the restaurant. The conversation was mostly about him and he had an extremely high opinion of himself. I'd mention Daniel at all and he'd change the conversation. I don't need that. It's not healthy to talk about yourself so much. I want to find someone who has been through what I've been through or someone who can accept that I'm a single parent. We come as a package deal."

"I can't believe he was like that."

"It is what it is."

All Hank could do was shake his head. He and Olivia went to talk to more people and then the food was served. They told people they could see their new place if they wanted to, which they decided to do tomorrow. After the party was over, everyone went home.

The next day, everyone who was meeting to see the new place, met at Olivia's apartment and they went over in as few cars as possible. Hank unlocked the door and they went in. They looked around on the main floor.

"This is amazing!"

"We really loved it. We have plenty of space for the 3 of us."

"When are you moving in?"

"We can move in whenever. We called and had all the utilities put on and the cable company is comin' today to hook up the TV and internet service. I wanna have one of those doorbell cameras put in too as an added safety feature."

"That's a good idea."

They went upstairs and looked around up there as well.

"Oh, wow! These bedrooms are huge."

"More to keep clean but Noah has gotten better about picking his stuff up now that he's older."

"Which room will be yours, Noah?"

"The one upstairs of the master bedroom. Other than the master bedroom, Mom and Dad said I could have whichever one I wanted."

"That one is probably the biggest of the smaller bedrooms and he pretty much gets his own space. We still have space for Olive and Daniel if they want to stay with us when they're here."

"Maybe next time. We are here for the week anyway. We're leaving a week from tomorrow, so if you want help with stuff, we're here."

"Ok, great. Thank you so much."

"You're welcome."

"Have you gotten the doorbell camera yet?"

"No, not yet. Are we ok with movin' in sooner?"

"Since everyone is here, why not? We still have some minor packing to do though but if they can get all the big stuff moved at least, then we can bring the smaller stuff over. Our new furniture gets delivered today as well."

Olivia got a call that the furniture would be there soon.

"The furniture will be here soon. Can we rent a truck or something?"

"Let me see if I can get one at such short notice. Kev, you wanna pick out the doorbell camera and install it?"

"Yeah, sure. No problem."

Hank looked to see if he could get a truck and he could. Everyone except Olivia headed to the apartment. The furniture was delivered and then the cable company showed up to install their TV and internet service. Hank went with Kevin to look at doorbell cameras and then they went to pick up the truck. Olivia called to tell Hank that the furniture had been delivered and the cable company had been there. Kevin had taken Hank's SUV and went to the new place to install the doorbell camera, while Hank went to the apartment. Thanks to everyone pitching in, their move went quickly and they only had minor things left to move. Once they were done, Hank and Olivia treated everyone to dinner.

"Thank you all so much for your help."

"You're welcome."

Everyone talked and then everyone called it a day. Hank, Olivia and Noah decided to spend the night at the new place but they had to put sheets on the beds and all that first. They went back to the old place and packed the rest before taking it over. Everyone from Chicago was leaving on Sunday but Olive and Daniel were planning to be there for the next week. Olivia ended up taking time off to get their stuff unpacked and so she and Olive could clean the apartment. The landlord met Olivia at the apartment, so she could turn in her keys in. The rest of the time was spent getting the new place organized.

Erin had left to head out of town, so she wasn't around when Olive and Daniel left. Olive and Daniel had had a late afternoon flight, so they had been at Hank and Olivia's prior to leaving.

"Thank for all your help this week."

"No problem. Our offer still stands for him to stay here with us. I would love to hang out with my boys."

"I appreciate the offer but maybe next summer. We may come out again before school starts, since I know you won't come out to see us until it cools off."

"Is he off all week for Thanksgiving?"

"I think so."

"Noah is too. I'm in the process of makin' arrangements to go to Disneyland then."

"Awesome! Thanks, Papa."

"No problem. Can you get off then?"

"I should be able to. If not, you can take him. Is Erin planning to go?"

"She said she wants to."

"It's probably less busy then than it would be at Christmas."

"That's true. Ok, Buddy, we need to go."

"Ok. Bye, Papa. I love you."

"I love you too."

"Love you, Grandma."

"I love you too, Sweetie."

"Love you, Noah."

"Love you too."

Daniel hugged all of them and then Olive did the same.

"We love you."

"I love all of you too."

Olive and Daniel left and headed to the airport, while Hank, Olivia and Noah went back inside.

"Well, we had a pretty productive week. I'm not looking forward to going back to work though."

"I can't say that I blame you. I love when we spend time together as a family."

"I do too. Have I mentioned how much I love you lately?"

"I'm sure you have but you can always say it again."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"I love you too, Noah."

"I love you both so much and I'm glad you're my parents."

"We're glad you're our son."

They decided what they wanted to do for dinner and in the meantime, Olive and Daniel's flight left for Phoenix. Hank, Olivia and Noah had dinner and then they watched a movie together. Noah went to bed, while Hank and Olivia made love before they fell asleep in each other's arms. Olive had texted Hank when they got home to let him know they had gotten there safely. Tomorrow was a new week and back to work for Olivia.

Ayanna had had confirmed what she had suspected that Elliot's cover had been blown while he was undercover. The kids weren't planning on filing any charges against the NYPD, since Elliot had always agreed to go undercover. They were still able to maintain their friendship with Olivia and they had become close to Hank as well.

During the next few months, Olive and Daniel came back before school started and Hank had made the arrangements for them to all go to Disneyland. The boys both went back to school. As soon as Noah was out of school for Thanksgiving, they left for Phoenix because Olive wanted to cook Thanksgiving dinner for all of them before they left for LA. They left for LA the Sunday before Thanksgiving and had an entire week there. Olive and Daniel were once again planning to go to New York for Christmas.

Reviews are appreciated.
