- This takes place now.

- Hank and Olivia have been married since right after the Yates' trial. Besides 12-year old Noah, they have an 8-year old biological son Benjamin (Ben) Hank heads OCCB and is a Captain. He was promoted the same time as Olivia both times.

- Justin is still alive. He, Olive and their 4 kids, almost 9-year old Daniel (Danny), almost 7-year old Lauren, almost 5-year old Vanessa and almost 3-year old Chloe live in New York. Justin works for the NYPD in TARU.

- Erin and Jay are married and are also in New York with their kids, 8-year old Henry (little Hank) and 6-year old Rebecca (Becca). Erin is Hank's biological daughter and is with SVU. Jay is with OCCB.

- Ed Tucker is still alive and heading HNT.

- Antonio Dawson is around and heading Intelligence.

- Alvin Olinsky is still alive.

- The Intelligence Unit consists of Sergeant Antonio Dawson, Detective Alvin Olinsky, Detective Hailey Upton, Officer Adam Ruzek, Officer Kevin Atwater, Officer Kim Burgess and Officer Dante Torres.

- Amanda Rollins and Kat Tamin are both still with SVU.

- Chief Garland is still around.

- SVU consists of Captain Olivia Benson, Sergeant Fin Tutuola, Detective Erin Lindsay, Detective Amanda Rollins, Detective Katriona Tamin, Detective Joe Velasco and Detective Terry Bruno.

- OCCB consists of Captain Hank Voight, Sergeant Ayanna Bell, Detective Jay Halstead, Detective Jet Slootmaekers and others.

- Elliot Stabler never came back.

To the Rescue

SVU had been in the middle of working on a difficult case but Olivia and Erin had gone missing. The last time either of them had been seen was in the parking lot of the Precinct. None of the rest of the squad had seen them leave but Olivia had said there was a possible lead. Neither Olivia nor Erin were answering their phone and both had gone straight to voice mail. They tried pinging their location but their phones were shut off. Fin hated to be the one to have to tell Hank but he was worried about both of them. He went over to OCCB and went up. Ed was in Hank's office when he got there. Everyone else was at their desks.

"Sergeant."

"Hey."

"What's going on at SVU?"

"I don't think you really want to know the answer to that, which is why I'm here. Halstead, this concerns you too."

"Captain Tucker is in Hank's office but I don't think it's about anything important."

Jay got up and then he and Fin headed to Hank's office. Fin knocked on the doorframe.

"Come on in."

Fin and Jay went into the office.

"Hey, Fin. What's goin' on?"

"Have either of you heard from Liv or Erin in the last several hours?"

"Olivia texted me to let me know that they were following a potential lead on a case."

"Same with Erin. Why?"

"The rest of us were gone when they left but they never came back to the Precinct and their phones go straight to voice mail. We tried pinging them and get nothing. That is unlike both of them."

"Yeah, it is."

Hank got his phone out and tried calling Olivia but it went straight to voice mail, while Jay did the same with Erin but got the same result.

"Voice mail."

"Same."

Hank called Justin and had him try to locate Olivia and Erin even though their phone were off. He had Jet checking the traffic cameras in the area of the 1-6 to see if they could find anything that might lead them to Olivia and Erin. Someone had come in with something for Hank. Once they left, Hank opened the package and since it was a thumb drive, he gave it to Jet. It turned out to be a video from Jack Davis, who was connected to Ralph Stevens, someone OCCB had investigated and locked up, and was targeting Hank's family. If Stevens wasn't released by the end of the day, his wife and daughter would be brutally raped and murdered

"GET PATROL UNITS AT THE KIDS' SCHOOLS AND AT JUSTIN AND OLIVE'S. NOW!"

"ON IT."

Ayanna made a call and had Patrol Units posted at all of the kids' schools and at Justin and Olive's. Hank contacted Justin again and told him what was going on. He told him to get to the Precinct. Justin headed to Hank's Precinct, Ed contacted the rest of HNT and Jay contacted Intelligence in Chicago to get their help.

"Dawson said they will a flight out as quickly as they can."

"Good. All this bastard wants is Stevens to be released."

"But we know he's guilty."

"Yeah, I know. All I'm concerned about right now is gettin' my family back."

"I can have some of the SVU helpin' but we got that case we're workin' on too."

"I just want someone from SVU involved, since I don't know what this bastard is doin' to them."

"I get it. They're family to me too."

"Get me whoever you can."

Fin called Amanda and asked her if she and Kat could come to OCCB and told her what was going on. She said they would be there as soon as they could. The rest of HNT and Justin arrived first.

"Dad, what happened?"

"This is connected to the Stevens' case that we did not that long ago. One of his people said if he isn't released by the end of the day today, he is going to brutally rape and murder Olivia and Erin. If either of them are harmed, there will be hell to pay. That's all I have to say. Ayanna called and had Patrol Units put at the kids' schools and your house. We need to see if we can get a location."

"Let's have a look."

Justin took the thumb drive and logged into the TARU system to see if he could get a location of where the video was made. By then Amanda and Kat had arrived and then Fin headed back to SVU. Jet was still looking at the traffic cameras.

"Captain, I think I have something."

Everyone stood behind Jet as she showed them what she found.

"This vehicle shows up at the 1-6 here and then it shows it going into a warehouse near the abandoned shipyard. So far, it never left."

"What's to say he didn't switch vehicles and then move out from there?"

"We don't but nothing has gone in or out since then. It has to be where they are."

"It looks like the video was done somewhere in that vicinity."

"We gotta find them. Olivia and I got into an argument before I left this morning and I don't want that to be the last conversation between us."

"No matter what happens, she knows you love her and she loves you. Is Olive gonna be able to get Vanessa from Preschool?"

"If we have to send a Patrol unit with her, we will."

"I better let her know what's goin' on."

"Ok."

Justin called Olive and let her know what was going on. Once he was done talking to her, they all got ready and just as they were getting ready to leave, Carisi came in.

"What's goin' on, Carisi?"

"Ralph Stevens was killed in prison."

"Jack Davis, who is connected to him kidnapped, Olivia and Erin. He said if Stevens wasn't released by the end of the day, he was goin' to brutally rape and murder both of them. This news is probably gonna piss him off even more."

"Did he call you?"

"He sent me a thumb drive with a video on it. We got a location to a warehouse near the abandoned shipyard."

"You'll get them back."

"I hope so. These aren't just any cops that are in this predicament. They're two women that I happen to love very much."

"I know. I'd feel the same way you do if it was Amanda."

"Aw, thanks, Babe."

"You're welcome. I'm gonna head back to my office. Let me know if you need anything else from me and keep me posted."

"We will."

Carisi kissed Amanda.

"Love you and be safe."

"I love you too and I will."

Carisi left just as Lieutenant Dixon and her squad came in. Phoebe had come in as well

"Fin called and let me know what was going on."

"Ayanna called us. My squad wants to help find Olivia and Erin."

"We can use all the help we can get. My former squad from Chicago is supposed to be comin' in once they get a flight."

Hank got a message. It showed a picture of both Olivia and Erin. He had beaten both of them and Hank was about ready to lose it.

"Jay."

"Yeah."

"He just sent me this."

Hank showed Jay the picture.

"Shit! How do we know he's not already raping them?"

"We don't."

Hank told them about the picture he was just sent and then they all headed out. By the time they got to the warehouse, Jet had said the vehicle had left but that didn't mean they were gone. They split up and searched the entire warehouse. Justin had stayed in Hank's SUV looking to see where the guy had gone. Hank and Jay had gone off together looking for their wives.

"OLIVIA? ERIN?"

They continued searching and then they found a door that was chained shut. Hank radioed to the group asking if anyone had something to cut a chain. Ed radioed him back and said there appeared to be a bomb that still had about 30 minutes before it went off, so he contacted the Bomb Squad. Someone from Kate's squad had gone to get something to cut the chain and took it to Hank. Hank cut the chain and got the door open. He saw his wife and daughter sitting back to back tied up. Their feet were also tied up and they were gagged. Hank and Jay went over and carefully untied them. They were both in pain as they were whacked in their knees several times with a crowbar. Hank picked up Olivia and Jay picked up Erin. Hank radioed for two ambulances and told the rest of the group that he had Olivia and Erin. The Bomb Squad arrived and everyone headed outside. They were able to get the bomb disabled.

"Babe, you ok?"

"I am now."

"Did he rape you?"

"No."

"I love you and I am so sorry about what happened earlier."

"I know you are and I love you too."

Hank kissed Olivia.

"Erin Baby, are you ok?"

"Same as what Mom said."

Jay kissed Erin just as the ambulances arrived. Hank set Olivia down on one of the gurneys, while Jay set Erin down on the other one. They had their cuts cleaned up and then they left for the hospital with their husbands. Justin stuck around and tried to find a location on Jack Davis, the guy that put his mother and sister in the condition they were in. They found a possible location at a residence and went there. It turned out that it was his girlfriend's place. When they arrived, they pounded on the door and when no one answered, they rammed the door and went in. They found Jack and his girlfriend in the bedroom.

"You can't just come in here. We're busy."

"That's not our problem. You're under arrest."

"For what?"

"What do you mean for what? You kidnapped two of our own and demanded that Ralph Stevens be released by the end of the day or you would brutally rape and kill Captain Benson and Detective Lindsay. You also set a bomb to explode."

"I figured that would be the easiest way to get rid of those two bitches and there would be no evidence of their existence."

"You claim you weren't gonna hurt them unless Stevens wasn't released by the end of the day."

"Yeah, well, I lied. My source told me he's dead anyway, so why shouldn't they be? It's all Hank Voight's fault."

"Voight had nothing to do with what happened to Stevens in prison."

"He's the that had Ralphie locked up."

"Because of his illegal activity."

"Let's go."

They arrested Jack and had someone take him to the Precinct. Ayanna stopped at Hank's SUV, where Justin was.

"Can you get into footage of the doorbell camera at your parents'? Some of the stuff Davis was saying made me wonder if he put a bomb in or around their house?"

"I was just lookin' at their camera. He's been spotted near the house, so honestly, you could be on to somethin'. Can the Bomb Squad go check things out?"

"Sure."

Ayanna contacted the Bomb Squad and inquired if they could check the Voight's home for one. They said they would be there in about 10-15 minutes. She gave them the address and then Justin headed over there. He got there about the same time they did. They looked around both inside and outside but didn't see anything.

"Everything is clean."

"Ok. Thanks."

"No problem."

"I don't think this guy isn't as smart as he wants to think he is."

"No, he's not. The bomb at the warehouse probably would have only damaged the area where it was and not the entire building."

"That's good to know."

Everyone left and then Justin headed to the hospital. He let his boss know what was going on and he told him to take as much time as he needed. He then let Olive know what was going on. When he arrived at the hospital, he parked by the ER and went in. He asked where he could find Olivia. They let him in and he went to where they told her she was. Erin was in the room next to Olivia.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"How are you feelin', Mom?"

"I'm in a lot of pain. They think my kneecap is badly fractured and will probably require surgery."

"Your sister is in the room next to Olivia."

Jay poked his head in.

"They think her kneecap is fractured too."

"That sucks."

"Did they get that son of a bitch."

"They did. I checked your doorbell camera footage and the vehicle had been seen in the vicinity of your house, so the Bomb Squad checked it out. They didn't find anything."

"That's good."

"The Bomb Squad said the bomb at the warehouse most likely would have only damaged the area where it was and not the entire place. That idiot isn't as smart as he wants to think he is."

"Apparently not. I'm takin' time off to take care of Olivia once she goes home. I'll probably do the Family Medical Leave. Ayanna will be fine runnin' things."

"I'd like to take off if Erin needs surgery."

"I'm fine with that. Maybe they can stay in one house and recover together."

"Olive said she'll do whatever she can to help out and so will I."

"Ok."

"I'm fine with that."

"I'm sure Erin would be too and I'll take time off too."

"I've actually been thinkin' about puttin' my papers in. This may get me to do it sooner."

"Maybe I should be the one to retire. It could be several months before things get back to normal and let's face it, I'm not as young as Erin. Although Fin would complain if he has to be in charge for too long."

"We will talk about that another time."

The doctor came in and told Olivia that she did need surgery and they would do it in the morning. Erin's kneecap was fractured but it wasn't as bad as Olivia's but they wanted to keep her overnight for observation and would still be off of work for a few days. They admitted both of them. Justin stayed with Olivia and Jay stayed with Erin, while Hank went back to the Precinct after he kissed Olivia.

"How are Olivia and Erin?"

"They have the same injury but Olivia's requires surgery. They'll be doin' that in the mornin'. I'm probably gonna take some time off. Jay is plannin' to take some time with Erin."

"We'll be fine."

"I was thinkin' about doin' the Family Medical Leave but I do have some time to take off and Justin said Olive would help out. He said he would too and so did Jay."

"Take as much time as you need."

Then the group from Chicago, including Trudy, came in.

"Is everything ok?"

"Olivia has a badly fractured kneecap, which she will be having surgery on tomorrow mornin'. Erin has a fractured kneecap but hers wasn't as bad. They wanted to keep Erin overnight for observation though."

"They get the person that did this?"

"Yeah. The guy he wanted released was killed in prison."

"We're here for whatever you need us for. Who's with her now?"

"Justin and of course Jay is with Erin. I still need to talk to Fin to let him know what's goin' on."

Hank told them what happened.

"Unfortunately, that happens in the line of work we're in."

"I know but you have no idea what was goin' through my head when I found out they were missin'. I'm not ready to bury another wife or my daughter. I was thinkin' about doin' the Family Medical Leave but Olive said she'd help out and so did Justin. Jay even said he would. She knows her recovery could be several months. They told her it could be as long as 6 months."

"Meredith sends her love."

"Tell her thanks."

"She's stayin' with Makayla while Burgess and Ruzek are here."

"She helps us out anyway."

"Randy and everyone from 51 also send their love."

"We appreciate that."

"Hank, let us know how things go tomorrow."

"I will. Can someone take Erin's SUV to the hospital?"

"I'll do that."

"Ok, thanks, Adam. I need to take Justin's work vehicle back and get his, so Al, can you drive mine?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Did Olivia drive this morning?"

"No. Erin usually picks her up. I do need to stop at SVU though and I need to get the boys from school. Noah has dance class this afternoon too.

Hank told everyone which hospital Olivia and Erin were at and their room numbers. Everyone left and then Hank went to take Justin's vehicle back to TARU. Al took Adam to get Erin's SUV at the 1-6 to take it to the hospital. Olive called Hank and asked if he wanted her to get Noah and Ben from school. He thanked her for offering but he needed to be the one to tell them what had happened to Olivia. He said he'd get Hank and Becca too, since they needed to know what happened to Erin. Once he had gotten Justin's vehicle, he went to pick the kids from their respective schools. He picked Ben, Hank and Becca up first. When they saw the vehicle, they got in.

"Why do you have Justin's vehicle?"

"I went to pick it up at his work and take it back to him."

"Is he ok?"

"He's ok but he's at the hospital with Mom."

"Uh oh ! What happened to Mommy?"

"She got hurt at work today and so did Erin.

"Are they ok?"

"Mom will be having surgery on her knee tomorrow but Erin can probably go home tomorrow."

"That sucks."

"I know it does."

Hank drove to Noah's school. When he saw them pull up, he walked over and got in.

"I thought you were Justin."

"I just have his SUV. Your mom and sister got hurt at work today, so they're both in the hospital. Mom will be having surgery on her knee tomorrow. I need to stop at Mom's work and talk to them."

"That sucks. Can we go see them?"

"Yeah, you can. I just need to stop at SVU first."

"Ok."

Hank drove to SVU and then they went up. Everyone was at their desks but they had seen Hank and the kids come in.

"How are they?"

"They both have fractured kneecaps. Erin's isn't as bad as Olivia's, so Olivia will be having surgery tomorrow. They kept Erin overnight for observation."

"How long will Liv be off?"

"They haven't said for sure yet but they said the recovery could be 3-6 months. I would think she'd be off for several weeks to a couple months. Erin should be off maybe a week but she'll probably be on desk duty for a while."

"Tell Liv not to worry about us. We got this."

"I'm sure she'll appreciate that."

Hank gave them their room numbers and then he and the boys left to head to the hospital. When they arrived at the hospital, they went in and got their visitor's badges. They then went up to Olivia's room. Justin, Al and Trudy were in with Olivia and mostly everyone else was in with Erin.

"There are my boys."

"Hey, Mom."

"Hi Mommy. I'm sorry you got hurt."

"Me too."

"Thank you."

Both Noah and Ben kissed Olivia and then Hank kissed her. Little Hank and Becca kissed her too. Hank handed Justin his keys.

"Thanks."

"Yep. Fin said to tell you not to worry about them. They got this."

"I'm glad he's taking his job as my number two so seriously. He usually hates being left in charge. Did you four say hi to Uncle Al and Aunt Trudy?"

"Hi Uncle Al. Hi Aunt Trudy."

"Hey, you four."

"Hey, guys and Miss Becca."

The four of them gave Al and Trudy a hug and then they hugged Justin.

"How was school?"

"Good. Why didn't we go home with Olive?"

"Because I needed to be the one to tell you the 4 of you."

"Oh."

"She called me and asked if I wanted her to get you two from school and I told her I would get Hank and Becca too."

Then Jay came in and wrapped his arms around Becca. He also ruffled little Hank's hair.

"Daddy!"

"Hey, you two! How was school?"

"Good. How's Mommy? Papa told us she got hurt."

"She'll be a lot better when she sees both of you."

"Did you call Uncle Will and Auntie Nat?"

"I did. Owen is on Spring Break at the same time you are, so they are planning to come see us."

"Awesome! Are you taking time off?"

"Probably the rest of this week and then Mom wants to stay at Grandma and Papa's while I'm at work. I'll take time off when Uncle Will, Aunt Nat and Owen are here, so then maybe Papa can work that week."

"Will Grandma be home by then?"

"I hope so. How long is Erin planning to be off? Not that it matters because she does have time."

"I think she's planning to go back once the kids are back in school after Spring Break."

"I guess it's a good thing we didn't have any trips planned for Spring Break. We did do the Disney thing for Christmas anyway."

"Which is why we didn't have any trips planned now. We usually go away for our anniversary."

"Yeah, I know and we probably won't be, since I'll be doing Physical Therapy for a while I'm sure."

"So, we don't go away this year. It won't be the end of the world."

"I'm hoping to be back to work in 4-6 weeks after the surgery."

"I guess we'll see how things go after tomorrow. I would prefer someone is with you though, so you don't fall on the stairs."

"I get that."

"I can help when I'm off of school."

"You're growing up way too fast."

"You want me to take Noah to dance class?"

"Do you mind?"

"Not at all. What are big brothers for? I need to go check on Olive and our brood too. Jay, do you want me to take them?"

"That's fine. Let me take them to say hi to Erin first."

"We'll go too."

Jay took Becca and the boys and went to see Erin.

"Thank you."

"No problem. They can all stay with us."

"That'll help."

After the kids talked with Erin for a few minutes, they came back to Olivia's room. Justin went to say goodbye to Erin and then he came back to say goodbye to his parents.

"Hopefully I'll be here before they take you in."

"If not, that's ok."

"I'll keep you updated."

"Ok. Love you, Mom."

"I love you too."

"Bye Mom. Love you."

"I love you too. I want you to help Olive and Justin out with the younger kids."

"I will."

"Bye, Mommy. I love you."

"I love you too, Sweetie."

"We love you, Grandma."

"I love you both too."

The kids gave Olivia and Hank hugs and kisses and then Justin kissed Olivia and hugged Hank before they all left. Hank sat down next to Olivia.

Some of the others had come into see Olivia and Al and Trudy went to see Erin. They all left to have dinner. Hank had gone with them, so the nurse put Erin in a wheelchair and Jay brought her in to see Olivia. While they were gone, Olivia's squad, Carisi and Ed came in.

"How are you two doin'?"

"Ok. I'm a little anxious about the surgery tomorrow. What if I'm not the same after my surgery?"

"Just take it one day at a time. Anything is better that bein' in pain. We got this, Liv. I made some calls and let people know what was goin' on. I called Warner, Cragen, Amaro, Barba, Casey, Alex and Munch. I talked to everyone but Munch."

"After I heard from Amanda, I ran into Trevor Langan at the Courthouse, so I told him."

"Thanks, Carisi."

"No problem. My mom said she'll bring food over for the 4 of you."

"We will appreciate that."

"Where's Voight?"

"He went out for dinner with the group from Chicago. He doesn't need to be here all the time."

"Patty said if you need anything to let her know. She deals with stuff like this all the time."

"I will. Thanks."

"Who has the boys?"

"They're staying with Justin and Olive. They're keeping Henry and Becca tonight as well. Justin was taking Noah to dance class."

"You're goin' home tomorrow?"

"That's the plan. I'm planning on being off the rest of this week, next week and the following week. The kids are off for Spring Break anyway and Jay's brother and sister-in-law are coming in then since Owen is off as well."

"Works for me."

They stayed for a while and then they all headed home. Once Hank came back, Jay took Erin back to her room, so she could eat. Olive came in with the 4 boys.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"How are you feeling, Grandma."

"A little anxious about the surgery."

"I'm sorry you and Auntie Erin got hurt today."

"Thank you."

"Are you two back?"

"Yep."

"Did you finish your homework?"

"Yes."

"How was dance class?"

"Good."

"No girls?"

"All 4 of them were being feisty, so I left Justin in charge of them."

"I'm glad Noah, Ben and Hank are around, so then I don't feel so outnumbered."

"I'm always outnumbered."

"Justin wants another son or two but I told him I was done after Chloe. I told him he has Danny, he has his brothers and he his has his nephew besides his dad and brother-in-law. That's enough. When you put all of us together, there is the same amount of each."

"True and you know I love you and Jay as much as I love Erin and the boys."

"And I appreciate that. I had such a crappy relationship with my parents anyway."

"Jay never had the best relationship with Pat either. My relationship with Justin got better after you and Olivia came into the picture."

"Was your squad here?"

"They were all here and so was Ed. He said if I needed anything to let Patty know, since she deals with all this anyway."

"Jay said he is planning to be off not next week but the following week, since Will, Natalie and Owen are coming in. He said he's hoping Hank will go in then, so I guess that means he will be spending time at the house. I'm sure Erin will be at the house quite a bit while she's off."

"I don't doubt that."

"I'll probably be the one with you the most besides Hank."

"Justin said he'd take time off too."

"I'll believe that when I see it."

Jay and Erin came back in.

"Auntie Erin!"

"Hey, Danny!"

Daniel gave Erin a hug and Henry gave her a kiss before he gave Jay one.

"What are the girls up to?"

"All 4 of them are being feisty, so I left Justin in charge."

"Rebecca feisty?"

"Deny it all you want. She gets it from you. They both have your personality and look mostly like you."

"They have your eye color though."

"Benjamin obviously looks like me but he has Hank's stubbornness."

Both Hank and Ben gave Olivia the same look.

"I rest my case."

"I think it's safe to say that all the grandkids take after Hank. So do all his kids except Noah."

"Jay, I completely agree. My 4 definitely do."

"I can't disagree with that either. However, it's the same personality I fell in love with and I wouldn't change my life with you for anything. You also got me pregnant, which is something I never thought would happen."

"I wouldn't change my life with Justin for anything."

"And I wouldn't change my life with Erin either."

Olivia kissed Hank and Jay kissed Erin.

"We seem to go through a lot together. We were pregnant with our sons together and we went through this ordeal today together."

"We have been through a lot together. I'm glad you're my daughter."

"And I'm glad you're my mom. You actually wanted to be a mom to me and not someone to get drunk and high with like Bunny. I kept her as far away from my kids as I could. I was getting pulled in two directions after Nadia died. Bunny wanted to party and Hank wanted me to stay focused on the positive. Even though I needed time to deal with what had happened, I'm glad I didn't go towards Bunny. Not too long after that was when Henry was conceived."

"Benjamin was conceived after the trial."

"Ew! That's just gross!"

Everyone laughed at the kids' reaction.

"Babe, you seem like you're in better spirits."

"I'm still pretty nervous. What if I'm not the same after the surgery?"

"And it won't change how I feel about you, so don't worry about that, ok? I take my marriage vows seriously. I did with Camille when she was dying of cancer and I do with you. Your recovery is not gonna happen overnight. You will get through this and I will be right there with you. You have my word on that."

"You always know the right thing to say to make me feel better."

"It worked, didn't it?"

"Yes. I love you."

"I love you too. I just feel like what happened to both of you was my fault."

"I don't blame you."

"Neither do I."

"Even though this was because of someone your unit arrested, we could have had someone associated with a person we arrested come after us too. It's not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last."

"We should probably get home."

"Ok."

Olive hugged Olivia and then the boys did. Everyone hugged Erin and then they left. Erin and Jay said goodnight to Hank and Olivia and went back to Erin's room. The nurse came in to help Erin in the bathroom and get into bed. Olivia needed to use the bathroom, so one of the nurses came in and helped her as well. She did what she had to do and then they got her back into bed. Hank kissed her goodnight and he tried to get comfortable in the chair next to her. The events of the day started going through both Erin and Olivia's minds as they tried falling asleep. Jack Davis had been killed in custody.

The next morning, they got Olivia ready to go into surgery as everyone else was getting ready for their day. Justin took off from work to stay with Hank, so he got there just before they moved Olivia. Hank stayed with her until they took her in. The group from Chicago had joined Hank, Justin, Erin and Jay at the hospital.

A few hours later, the surgery was over and Hank was told things had gone well. She would probably be in the hospital a few days but they would work with her to be able to do stairs before she went home. Erin was released that afternoon and Hank contacted both squads and Ed to let them know things had gone well. Ayanna had told Hank about Jack Davis but he was not too upset by that. He contacted Jay and told him but he wasn't too upset by it either. Olivia pretty much slept the rest of the day.

During the next few days, they got Olivia up and had her walking around. Olive came over with the girls and stayed with Erin. Olivia was able to go home by the weekend when the group from Chicago was heading home. Serafina had brought food over for them. Hank had stayed with her the next week and Jay had brought Erin over to stay with Hank and Olivia while he was at work.

Hank had gone back to work the following week but Olive stayed with Olivia and Jay was off as well. Noah was doing what he could to help too and Olive brought the kids over. Natalie, Will and Owen had come in and spent time with everyone. Everyone came to see her whenever they had time. Nick called her from California and they had talked for a while.

The following week, Erin was going back to work, so Jay took her. She was working shorter days, since she was going to Physical Therapy. The kids had also gone back to school, Justin took off to spend with Olivia even though Olive was pretty much always there.

Olivia was improving everyday and would be able to go back to work soon. She would only be working short days for a while, especially while she was doing Physical Therapy. She knew her recovery would take a while but she was grateful that she had such an amazing support system.
