AN: Hi! :3 So, I hope you like these so far. This is the next one. There will be some bl00d in this. It's just Naruto getting hurt during a mission, and then Sasuke helps him. Their boyfriend's in this still. I might make one where it's them finding out their love for eachother and confessing, but I still need to think for that one. Right now though, just enjoy this one! This mission had been going well, they were just escorting some people to their village, it was supposed to be an easy C rank mission, but that's when it all turned around. They were about a mile out from the village border when Kakashi noticed they were being followed. Of course, he had told them, and then made Sasuke and Sakura keep going to the village with the escorts, as him and Naruto stayed behind to fight off the ninja's who were following them. (I kinda got inspired by a scene in Naruto Shippuden of Minato's team, one of Obito and Kakashi's flashbacks, if you know what I'm talking about)

It was going well, Naruto and Kakashi were holding them off and Sasuke and Sakura had gotten the four men to their village. But then more ninja's started to appear out of nowhere and Kakashi and Naruto started having a hard time with them. It got so bad that Kakashi even had to move his headband and use his Sharingan to fight against them. Naruto was struggling more with them, his headband had gotten knocked off in the fight and he was already dirty and bruised up, but he didn't care and just kept fighting. But then he had gotten hit hard, and couldn't get back up.

It had happened right as they were finishing off the fight and almost all of the ninja's had been knocked out or killed. Sasuke and Sakura had just gotten there after dropping off the escorts, and then Naruto had seen and got distracted for a second, which had been a mistake, because as soon as he looked over at Sasuke multiple kunai were thrown at him. Kakashi saw this and tried to stop the kunai, grabbing three of them, but he missed the other three. And by the time Naruto noticed them, one had already hit his shoulder, and the other two were a second away from exploding right infront of him. He had turned his face so it wouldn't burn him there, but it exploded right on his chest and stomach, burning through his clothes and flesh and sending him flying back into a tree.

"Naruto!" Sasuke shouted when he saw, his Sharingan activating as he ran over to Naruto as fast as could,.no longer caring about anything else.

Naruto shook on the ground, opening his eyes a bit after a few momemts, just seeing a blurry figure running to him as he tried sitting up but couldn't, his stomach and chest burned badly with chunks of flesh almost falling off, his body covered in blood.

"Naruto!" Sasuke kneeled down next to him, touching his cheek lightly, shaking, rubbing away the tears Naruto hadn't noticed he had cried as he tried to stay calm, but he couldn't.

"You're okay, you'll be okay." Sasuke said, panicking a little, and then he felt wetness on his hand and pulled it back to see the blood, just panicking more. "K-Kakashi sensei!"

Kakashi did fireball jutsu, getting rid of the rest of the enemy, and then he looked over at them, his eyes widening when he saw Naruto, and then he quickly got over to them.

"K-Kakashi sensei, N-Naruto, h-he-"

"Calm down Sasuke, we need to get him back to the village." Kakashi said, carefully removing scraps of Naruto's shirt that was sticking to his wounds from the blood.

Sasuke swallowed, trying to calm himself down, and then nodded, and then as soon as Kakashi stepped back from him Sasuke picked Naruto up on his back as blood dropped onto him.

"Kakashi sensei." Sakura said, running over to them, seeing Naruto. "What, what happened?" She said, worried.

"He got hit with an explosive kunai. We need to get him to the village." Kakashi explained

"S...Sasu.." Naruto started to say, his vision blurry still, his body hurting everywhere and numb in some places, and then everyone looked at him.

"Don't talk Naruto..It's okay.. You'll be okay.." Sasuke said, kissing Naruto's head lightly again as Naruto whimpered a bit.

"E-everything hurts.." Naruto said and Sasuke held him closer.

"I-I know..y-you'll be okay though, we're going back to village..Y-you'll get help..j-just rest.."

Naruto nodded a bit and closed his eyes, immediately fainting and then Kakashi put his hand on Sasuke's shoulders, making him looking at him. "We need to go Sasuke."

Sasuke nodded and then they started going back to the village as fast as they could, Sasuke infront of them as they jumped from tree branches.

"Kakashi sensei, will Naruto be okay." Sakura asked, staying close to him, looking at Sasuke infront of them with Naruto, who looked horrible.

"I'm not sure..But as soon as we get to the village, I'm sure he'll be fine. Don't worry." Kakashi said, and Sakura nodded a bit, still worried for him though.

After what felt like forever to Sasuke they got back to the leaf, and as soon as he got through the gates he ran straight to the hospital, hoping someone was there that could help.

"Please help!" Sasuke yelled at he ran into the hospital, a few people looking at him as he ran to the nearest nurse who was organizing some medicine. "Please! He got hurt on a mission and we don't have a medical ninja!"

The nurse looked down at Naruto, assessing his injuries, and then looked up at Sasuke again, a serious look on her face. "Come this way." She said, and then Sasuke followed her quickly to another room where she had him lay Naruto down, and then she called for more nurses and a few other people came in and surrounded Naruto, pushing Sasuke back.

"Naruto!" Sasuke said trying to push the nurses away from him, but was pulled back by Kakashi. "Sasuke ,calm down, they're trying to help him."

"No! Th-they'll hurt him! Let me go!" Sasuke said, trying to break out of Kakashi's grip on him.

"They aren't hurting him Sasuke, they're helping him, they're treating his wounds." Kakashi said, and Sasuke tried calming down, but then it got worse again when Naruto woke up and started screaming as the medical ninja's cleaned the third degree and worse burns.

"Naruto!" Sasuke shouted, and then pushed Kakashi off of him hard, and then pushed through the nurses to get to Naruto.

"These burns are horrible." "Get anesthesia." "We need more bandages." "Help me hold him down." "He's struggling too much, he's going to hurt himself." Sasuke heard all of the nurses talking, but he didn't care, just needed to get to Naruto. He pushed through all of them and then grabbed onto Naruto's hand that was shaking.

"It's okay baby, it's okay, I'm here, I'm here.." Sasuke said softly, kissing Naruto's hand moving a little to avoid getting hit because of how much Naruto was moving around and yelling.

"I-it h-hurts! S-stop!" Naruto yelled, crying and shaking as the bloodied flesh on his stomach ripped more from him moving so much, making him yell and scream in pain again.

"Naruto, please, you're hurting yourself, please, stop." Sasuke said, and slowly grabbed both of Naruto's hands pinning them against the bed, just making him yell and cry more, which made him feel bad, but he didn't want Naruto to hurt himself more.

"L-let me go! P-please! I-I didn't d-do a-a-anything! P-please! I-it h-hurts! S-Sasuke! S-S-Sasuke!"

"Naruto, open your eyes, please, I'm right here, Naruto."

Naruto kept squirming in his grip as the medical ninja's tried holding him down too, but it didn't work, so then after a few moments Sasuke squeezed Naruto's wrists hard and then lightly kissed his head, hoping that was enough to make him realize where he was.

Naruto cried more from the pain in his stomach and then felt some pain in his wrists and felt Sasuke's lips on forehead, that making him slowly come back to his senses and open his eyes a little, still shaking a lot, but not fighting back anymore, just crying more, his body starting to feel numb again as he partially went into shock. "..S..S-Sasuke." He finally said, just seeing a blurry figure above him, because of how much tears was still in his eyes.

"Shh.. It's okay..Calm down.. I'm here Naruto.." Sasuke said, glad Naruto had calmed down, and then he kissed his head lightly again, but still didn't let go of him, in case he freaked out again.

"..S-Sasuke.." Naruto said, whimpering a little when he felt a needle go into his arm from the nurses finally being able to give him anesthesia.

"Go to sleep Naru.. It's okay.." Sasuke spoke softly, rubbing Naruto's hands lightly and kissing his head again, and then Naruto slowly closed his eyes again as the medicine took affect, and then he fell asleep.

"Thank you for holding him down. Now please, we need you to move so we can deal with his injuries." One of the medical ninja's told him, and then Sasuke looked at Naruto, but didn't move or let go of his hand.

After a moment Kakashi put his hand on Sasuke's shoulders, making him look up. "Sasuke, they need you to move." He said, and then Sasuke nodded a bit and let go of Naruto and got out of the way, the nurses immediately surrounding him again and talking to eachother as a few of them did medical ninjutsu to treat his wounds and the others got supplies to help stitch and bandage him.

"Are you alright Sasuke?" Sakura asked after a couple minutes as the nurses continued to heal Naruto.

"Yeah, I'm fine.." Sasuke said, and then after a while the medical staff were finished and were just wrapping up Naruto's stomach and chest and shoulder in bandages.

"He will be fine." One of the women who healed Naruto said to them before Sasuke could ask. "We weren't sure at first, because the wounds were really bad, and he lost a lot of blood, but thankfully, he's healing already. The burns were severe and he had a lot of flesh burned off, but it'll heal. He'll be fine. He just needs rest. Lots of it."

Sasuke nodded and looked over at Naruto and then he went over to him once all of the nurses had moved, lightly grabbing his hand as most of the medical ninja left, a few staying to make sure Naruto's vital signs were okay.

"Do you want us to stay Sasuke.." Kakashi said after a few minutes once the last nurse in the room excused herself and then left after making sure Naruto was stable.

"You can leave if you want.." Sasuke replied, not looking away from Naruto or letting go of his hand at all.

"Alright..Tell the nurses to get us if you need us." Kakashi said, and then him and Sakura left, leaving Sasuke alone in the room with Naruto.

"I..I'm so sorry Naruto, I..I didn't mean for you to get hurt.." Sasuke started saying quietly as he softly squeezed Naruto's hands a bit, his eyes tearing up a little. "I..I should've watched you, I should've been there I..I'm sorry...Please..be okay..Please..."

Sasuke stayed next to Naruto's hospital bed for the next few hours, not letting go of his hand and just staying quiet as nurses came into the room every once in a while to check on him. By night Sasuke was tired, and the nurse had just left, but he couldn't fall asleep, he needed to stay awake for Naruto. He wanted to be awake when he woke up, to make sure he was okay, and to say he was sorry. He didn't say sorry, ever, but he felt horrible for Naruto getting hurt, he loved him, and was really worried, even though the nurses told him Naruto would be fine.

"Please wake up Naru.." Sasuke said, laying his head down on the bed again as he closed his eyes just to rest for a moment, trying to stay calm, knowing that Naruto was okay and he was just sleeping because of the sedative the nurses gave him, but he was still worried.

It had been a couple hours later when Naruto had finally woken up, the sedative had worn off a while ago, he just needed the sleep though. Naruto moved a bit in the bed, slowly opening his eyes a little and groaning a bit, Kurama had healed most of him, but he still had some burns and stitches and it still hurts a lot.

Sasuke noticed Naruto woke up almost strait away. He had his eyes closed when he felt him move a little and then his eyes immediately opened as his head shot up and he looked at Naruto.

Naruto just groaned a bit as he slowly opened his eyes and they adjusted to the light. Then he tried to sit up but then hissed a bit in pain from his stomach and just decided to stay laying down. "Mm.."

"Naruto.." Sasuke said softly after a moment, squeezing Naruto's hand a bit, and then Naruto turned and saw him and then smiled

"Oh, he..hey Sasuke." Naruto replied, and then Sasuke hugged him, crying a little, making sure to be careful with Naruto's wounds though.

Naruto slowly hugged him back a little as he woke up more, and then felt Sasuke shaking a bit. "Sasuke..What's wrong..Are you okay?" He said, and then after another moment Sasuke pulled away a little, looking at him.

"Am..am I okay?..Naruto, you're the one who..who got himself hurt and..a-and almost died!" Sasuke said, trying not to cry as he feared up more.

"Well, I'm fine Sasuke, aren't I?" Naruto said, lightly squeezing Sasuke's hand and smiling still.

"Naruto, you scared me..I..I thought I lost you..." Sasuke said, looking dow n, and then Narut o frowned a bit.

"Hey.." Naruto said after a moment, forcing himself to sit up, wincing a little from the pain, but then Sasuke stood up and tried to make him lay back down. "Naruto, you'll hurt yourself."

"Wait Sasuke, just let me say this alright.." Naruto said, lightly grabbing Sasuke's hands in his, wincing a bit from the pain in his stomach but he just ignored it, and then Sasuke just looked at him, a worried look on his face. "I won't ever leave you..You won't lose me..I won't die..I promise.."

"Naruto.." Sasuke started to say, but Naruto stopped him.

"No Sasuke, I do, I promise, I'm not going to die, I have you, I can't die yet, I won't, I promise."

"Naruto..You can't decide that..What..what if you get seriously injured on a mission again and..and I'm not there and.." Sasuke said, looking down.

Naruto lightly kissed Sasuke's hands and smiled big again. "I promise you I won't die Sasuke..Besides, I have the nine tails, he'll heal me."

Sasuke looked back up at Naruto again and then sighed a bit and slowly sat down on the bed next to him, wrapping his arm around Naruto a little. "I know.. I'm sorry, I'm just.."

"I get it Sasuke.. It's alright..You don't have to apologize." Naruto said and Sasuke smiled a bit and then kissed Naruto's forehead.

"Okay...Just..promise me you won't die.."

"I already did Sasuke." Naruto said, smiling a bit.

"Promise me again.." Sasuke said, knowing it didn't really mean anything, but it did mean something to him, he couldn't lose Naruto, he was the only thing he had left.

"I promise..I won't die Sasuke.." Naruto said, kissing Sasuke's hand again, and then Sasuke pulled him into a hug.

"I love you.." He said, making Naruto smile and hug him back, putting his face in Sasuke's chest. "I love you too.."
