I am back with another new chapter; this one containing a Flashback that kinda/sorta delves in the past of our boy; so I hope you enjoy it.
Summary: Naruto was a skilled Shinobi, but he was brutally thrust from his homeland into the great unknown. In this new world; he had plenty of challenges, and lucky for him he was an adaptive guy, and where others might fail, he thrived. Previously: "The reason for this, is that it will be a good place with staring a bonding experience, and it will show you a bit of my magic and a little about who I am as a person, as the way somebody fights shows a lot about who they are! So, I will start by giving all the S-class mages here a chance to challenge me, before giving the rest of you the same chance, just to make it interesting!" Naruto spoke up, his grin widening as he saw how excited the crowd of Wizards was, he could even hear a busty brunette at the back start shouting out betting odds on who will challenge Naruto and how well they will do.
It was cute, they thought they had a chance.
"So with that said who is the first challenger!?"

"Drem Yol Lok. Greetings, wunduniik. I am Paarthurnax. Who are you, and what brings you to my strunmah... my mountain?"
If Naruto was surprised, he did little to actually show it, "I wasn't expecting to meet a dragon when I came up here from the village, I was told an elder resided here."
"And yet here I am, as my father Akatosh made me. As are you. Which village sent you here, if I may ask?"
Naruto conceded to that one, "The village at the basin. Apparently the people in the village see you as their chieftain or something, are you?" he asked as he pointed a thumb over his shoulder in the direction of the village.
The dragon bowed his head low, "They see me as such. Wuth Onik. Old and wise. It is true I am old..." the old dragon seemed to chortle, "Why is it you have come? Los hi het?"
Naruto shrugged, "I came here to learn. There is a war going on, and I want to protect those that I love. Where I was born-I would have naturally been fine; but upon arriving here I am all but powerless. My strength has failed me time and again despite my own capabilities, and I feel I am not strong enough to ensure the safety of those I care for most in this world. If there is anywhere you can send me to find the strength to ensure their survival; I would be forever grateful Wise One." Naruto answered the old dragon who continued to look at him in silent question.
"Ah. Vahzah. You speak true. Forgive me. It has been long since I held tinvaak... conversed with a stranger. I gave in to the temptation to prolong our speech." the old dragon answered respectfully.
Naruto nodded in understanding, "Aside from my request, may I ask why it is you live alone on a mountain if you love conversation?" he questioned.
"Evenaar bahlok. There are many hungers it is better to deny than to feed. Dreh ni nahkip. Discipline against the lesser aids in qahnaar... denial of the greater." the dragon responded calmly.
"I can understand that." Naruto nodded, "But is there anything you can tell me that could help me out with what I need?" he questioned.
"Drem. Patience. There are formalities which must be observed, at the first meeting of two of the Unslaad Sos... eternal blood. Tell me. Why do you come here, volaan? Why do you intrude on my meditation?" Paarthurnax questioned the blond calmly.
"I told you, I need to learn some form of power in order to protect my loved ones. A dragon and his brood are threatening to destroy everything I know and love. Can you tell me where to go or not?" Naruto asked him.
Again...
"Ah. Then I have expected you. Prodah. You would not come all this way for tinvaak with an old Dovah. No. You seek a weapon against Alduin." Paarthurnax said in observation, his wisdom shining through.
Naruto felt a brow raise up in surprise, "How did you know I came for help against that black bastard; to be honest I didn't know his name was Alduin. What is he to you?" he asked.
"It is understandable. Alduin... Zeymah. The elder brother. Gifted, grasping and troublesome, as is so often the case with firstborn. But why? Why must you stop Alduin? What else would you seek?" the dragon questioned him.
Well, that explained a lot.
"I keep telling you, I'm looking for a way to ensure my family's survival." Naruto groaned out, "But if you want a quick explanation, then fine; I like this world. I don't want it to end. Happy?" he asked sarcastically.
"Pruzah. As good a reason as any. There are many who feel as you do, although not all. Some would say that all things must end, so that the next can come to pass." Paarthurnax said swiftly.
"Yea, and while I understand that nothing lasts forever, I would like to ensure my family lives away from all the violence. Safe and happy where they don't have to worry about a dragon eating them every time they turn around." Naruto crossed his arms.
"While it is true, and that Alduin yah al... yearns for destruction, I do not know the power in which you seek. Krosis... unfortunately... That which you seek cannot be known to me. Your kind - joor - mortals - created a weapon to use against the dov… the dragons. Our hadrimme, our minds cannot truly… comprehend its concepts." the dragon answered apologetically.
"What are you talking about?" Naruto asked in confusion, lost in what the old dragon was trying to tell him.
"In the best way, I can only call it Lah; in your terms, Magic. However, such power is still not enough to harm the eldest of the Dovah. What you need, is something Zeim Mindoraan, beyond comprehension..." the dragon spoke softly.
Naruto looked at Paarthurnax uncertainly, "What are you thinking?" he questioned
"What you need, is the power... Sin Suleyk beyond which mortals can comprehend...Zeim Mindoraan, a weapon that can destroy which is indestructible... I offer to teach you the way of the Voice... the power of my Thu'um, in order to find success." he offered, "If you wish to stand against the eldest of the Dovah, you need the power to do so."
"Before I just blindly accept this, I just want to know what it is, this Thu'um you are talking about?" he questioned in confusion as his head tilted sideways.
"The power of Thu'um, what you call the Storm Voice or simply the Voice, is a form of magic which utilizes the Dragon Language to form Shouts of immense power. The word itself directly translates to the word "shout" in the Dovah tongue. Most shouts are made up of three words, and using more usually strengthens the effects of the shout in some manner. The dov are able to master and use their Thu'um-their magic-at will, as this sacred language is our natural tongue, inborn into our souls from the moment of creation. So, when the Dovah shout at each other with the Thu'um they are born with, they are actually having a deadly verbal debate."
"But how would this help me?" Naruto questioned, "You mention a weapon that could help before, then start debating philosophy." he said in confusion.
"Hahaha! You have much to learn of the ways of the dov, then. There is nothing else but philosophy to a Dovah. It is no accident that we do battle with our Thu'um, our Voices. There is no distinction between debate and combat to a dragon. Tinvaak los grah. For us it is one and the same." Paarthurnax admittedly honestly to the human.
"Ok, I get that, so, what are you trying to hint at; that I somehow learn to speak as a dragon or what not?" he questioned, "Cuz last I checked I can't speak dragon." he pointed out to the dragon.
"Drem. Patience. I am answering, in my way. By long tradition, the elder speaks first. Hear my Thu'um! Feel it in your bones. Match it, if you are of Unslaad Sos. The eternal blooded!" the dragon turned to the large wall of stone that made the mountain and inhaled deeply, "Yol...Toor...Shul!" an explosion of flame blasted out and struck the wall, and to Naruto's surprise, began carving strange cryptic cuts into the stone, and then upon completion turned to the blond, "A gift to you. Come to the wall. There you shall understand Fire as the Dovah do."
Naruto walked up to the wall in silent awe where upon reaching the markings, watched as streams of light engulfed the letters and began to seep into his skin, his bones and mind... and a voice demanded he hear it in his brain-to comprehend and listen to its voice. And just as suddenly as it started, it had stopped causing Naruto to turn and face Paarthurnax in amazement.
"Now, show me what you can do. Greet me not as mortal, but as Dovah!" the dragon commanded with authority in his voice.
Inhaling deeply, Naruto thought on the word that demanded him to roar at the world, "~YOR TOOR SHUL~" Naruto shouted, and much to his surprise, fire blasted from his mouth to slam into the dragon causing Paarthurnax to take a step back from the strike Naruto had landed.
"Aaah... yes! Sossedov los mul. The Unslaad Sos runs strong in you. It is long since I had the pleasure of speech with one of my own kind." Paarthurnax said happily, pleased to know that he could speak properly once more.
"What did you do to me?" Naruto asked in amazement. He raised his hands and looked at them, trying to see what had changed about him to be able to do something like what he had so easily; but saw no changes.
"I have bestowed upon you the knowledge of "Yol' as a way to begin your training in the way of my power. In your tongue, the word simply means fire. It is change given form, power at its most primal. That is the true meaning of Yol - suleyk, power. You have it, as do all who live and breath. But power is inert without action and choice. Think of this as the fire builds in your su'um, your breath. Su'um ahrk morah. What will you burn? What will you spare?" the dragon questioned him.
"I... I don't know, but...I don't want to hurt people who shouldn't be hurt...How am I able to use your power?" Naruto questioned the dragon, "I know I am human, I don't have any dragon blood in me; so how am I able to speak and use the power of a dragon?" he asked.
"You are not of the Dovah Sos; dragon blood, and the power you use is your own, though the energy itself is not Thu'um as you would believe to be, and is that of your own power made manifest. Your Thu'um and mine are still vastly different in every way. I have simply made it so that you mind can make it easier to understand to make reality. All Dovah can do this. It is in our blood." the dragon told him calmly as Naruto let the information sink into his mind.
"Thank you, for teaching me this. I will honor this power and ensure my family is safeguarded and understand that it is not a power used lightly." Naruto bowed at the waist in appreciation.
The laughter from Paarthurnax was something Naruto expected, but not what came next, "Ni Dreh Nu, we are not yet finished with your lessons Unslaad Sos. There is still much for you to learn in the ways of the Dovah, a path in which I shall help you see; Koorav Ol Zu'u, as I do." the old dragon told him.
Naruto was lost, "But, you taught me how to breath fire, I have achieved what I have come to do; acquire the power to protect my loved ones." he said to the dragon.
"There is much more for you to learn, to see. Wah Dreh Koorav. I cannot allow you to depart with so little to show. Ni Wah Ofan, not enough given for you to protect your clutch." Paarthurnax told him.
Naruto was close to tears, and yet he bowed his head once again, "Then I am under your tutelage, Master." he said honestly.
And from that moment on; history would change.
~XxX-Modern Era-XxX~
Looking over at the crowd of Guild Wizards surrounding him, Naruto couldn't help but smile as he took in the many looks of excitement and anticipation he could see on the faces of those present, with a number of them shouting of encouragement, challenges and bets. A couple of them even tried to convince their friends to step up and take Naruto on, whilst others looked to the only two S-Class mage's present. Curious about whether Erza Scarlet or Mirajane would be the first ones to start things off.
"Now then, I think it's about time we start this little competition of ours. Though first, remember I'll only be accepting three challenges, so you lot have three chances at me." Naruto said loudly, the smile on his face widening as he saw the eagerness of those around him, their excitement having become almost infectious. "So, who'll be my first challenger? Come on, step forward and have a go, I mean who knows, if you win you maybe the next Guild Master of Fairy Tail!"
A little bit of provocation and bait, that was what Naruto was aiming for. He wanted to spar with the best the Guild had to offer, and to do that he would need to entice them into challenging him. That being said he had no intention of allowing anyone to beat him, as if anyone came close he was more than prepared to go all out to deal with them.
"I, Erza Scarlet…." Erza shouted out challengingly, the first of the group to do so, as she stepped forward.
A firm and confident look on her face as she prepared to challenge the mysterious new Guild Master to a fight. As she did so the rest of the crowd quietened down, many of them murmuring excitedly amongst each other as they saw Erza glare fiercely at the smiling blonde. It seems one of their strongest would be the first to take up the challenge.
Unfortunately though, before she could say anything else, she was interrupted by Natsu. The rambunctious Dragon Slayer, now he was no longer being held back, taking the opportunity to charge forward, toward Naruto. His fists already on fire and an eager grin on his face, as he threw caution to the wind and charged his Guild Master.
"FIGHT ME! Come on I challenge you, you Laxus wannabe, I'll kick your punk ass! Come on FIGHT ME, UNLESS YOU'RE SCARED!" The pink haired Dragon Slayer roared as he broke through the crowd and into the center of the impromptu arena, streams of flame trailing out of his mouth as he ran towards Naruto shouting his challenge. Coming to a stop a couple of meters away, a confident and excited grin on his face.
Naruto cocked an eyebrow at that, his gaze now on his challenger. Noting as he did the open black waist coat he was wearing, as well as the white knee length shorts, the simple sandals and the white scale like scarf he had wrapped around his neck. Most of all though he noted the confidence in the boy's smile and the resolve in his gaze.
"Alright then kid, you might not be an S-Class, but who am I to deny such enthusiasm. Everyone give us some room, and pinky, prepare yourself!" Naruto said loudly, watching as everyone moved to the edges of the training ground. Walking to the middle of the opening, Naruto turned to Natsu, "There is only one rule to each fight; come at me with the intention of killing me; anything less, and I won't take you serious." he ordered, eyes of various members widened in surprise and shock at his words.
"W-Why would you say that?" Natsu asked with a surprised look.
Naruto snorted before he reached up, and slowly opened his shirt to reveal a shocking sight to many of the guild, "This, right here, is my reason." he stated as Natsu seemed to turn pale, "This scar along with the ones on my face." he stated factually before he removed it fully to show his chest before he finished turning around, "There are no more scars on my back as this is the only scar I have located there." he explained, "And the only reason for that is because a person I once knew ran me through with a blade of raw lightning." he told Natsu, "The scar had a twin located on my chest until recently."
"H-How are you still alive?" Natsu shuddered.
"I'm stubborn." Naruto answered, "But that isn't what you want to ask. What you really want to know is what caused the scar on my chest, correct?" he asked as several nodded, "Simple, I got this pretty little thing, and the ones on my face, while fighting." he said calmly, as if stating the obvious, "But the enemies I was facing weren't human; not to mention that Elexion was a uniquely powerful dragon and his lightning was able to burn through anything it touched." he stated causing people to look at him in shock.
"You're a dragon slayer?" Natsu asked, "Did you meet Igneel? Do k-" he began to question only for Naruto to stop him, "Shut up and let and let me talk. Show respect when your elders are speaking kid." Naruto said a bit harshly, "As for the claw marks on my face, well, Mercphobia was a dragon of the sea, and earned his moniker of Water Dragon God, seeing as the bastard dropped the entire ocean on my head twice; and I crashed onto the reefs beneath the waves, I got even with him though." he shrugged.
"You fought multiple dragons?" Natsu asked in surprise.
Naruto shrugged, "Plenty of dragon's actually. Odahviing. Durnehviir. Vulthuryol. Nahagliiv. Vuljotnaak. Zirconis. Scissor-runner. Dogramag. Levia. There was this one nasty bastard named Alduin a few years back, but I'd rather not speak of that one. But those are just the ones I can think of off the top my head." Naruto said as he clenched his fists.

Minato...
Narcissa...
Naka...
Zen...
"And you slew them?" Natsu asked, "What's your element, who taught you?" Natsu pleaded.
"I am not the kind of Dragon Slayer you think I am." Naruto said, "The only reason a Magic like Dragon Slayer Magic even exists is because it is a simple form of magic, far easier to use in combat against a dragon than that which you would typically need to use in order to fight or combat a dragon." Naruto shrugged, "Essentially, Dragon's are immortal, and cannot be killed through conventional means. They are as offensively powerful as they are defensively. Your magic is basically a cheat to their own capabilities and acts as a doorway to their destruction. However, there are those exceptional few wizards who have enough raw power to simply overpower their strength without needing Dragon Slayer Magic."
"After all, Dragon's are the very embodiment of the essence of Magic, and simply killing them won't keep them down forever, they'll just resurrect in time; hence why they are immortal. The only way to truly kill a dragon is for someone of the Dovah Sos-dragon tongue for the dragon blood-to kill them. Dragon Slayers are known as the Dovah Sos, but the meaning has simply changed over the years." he stated.
"But, you said dragon slayers are the cheats to killing dragons... what do you-" Natsu went to ask, "Look kid, I don't mind talking, but your dragging up old memories I would rather not discuss. Besides, Mercphobia was knocked out of the fight and slept for the remainder of my conflict with Elexion. After I slew Elexion, I came back and that was the end of it." Naruto told him, "And I kept Elexion from coming back by turning him mortal, effectively ending his life forever." he said causing some of the guild members to stiffen up.
How did he kill an immortal being?
It made no sense, and he had said that dragons were both the embodiment of Magic and Immortal as they would simply resurrect; so what had he done to fully kill Elexion?
"Now, with the little backstory said and done, do as I said; fight me as if you mean to kill me, otherwise I cannot and will not take you seriously." Naruto told him, shifting his feet and raising his fists as he watched Natsu.
Natsu grinned. His fists clenched and fire blossomed around his skin, "Alright, you want a hard fight, then get ready cuz here I come!" he declared boldly to the blond. A wide smile on Natsu's face showed just how excited pink haired man was, his apparent hot-headedness and overconfidence, very much reminding Naruto of himself when he was a kid, much younger than Natsu was today.
Around the two, the Guild watched in silence. Some were eager to see a fight; cuz the guild was pretty famous for constantly starting them. Others were curious to see what magic their new Guild Master used to fight. Many of them jostling around to get a better view, trying not to mis any detail from the fight. As this was happening, the voice of Cana Alberona could clearly be heard over the noise of the crowd, declaring the odds for the upcoming fight to be ten to one in Naruto's favor. After all Makarov wouldn't pick a person to be Guild Master, unless he was sure they were strong enough, and responsible enough to carry the title.
Plus Natsu was only a high B-Class to low A-Class Wizard, meaning he was not on the same level as Gildarts, Mystogan, Erza, Laxus or Mirajane, the Guild's current S-Class mages, and going off the terms of Naruto's little history lesson, it was likely he wouldn't measure up to the blonde either.
Naruto glanced around at the large circle that began to form around where he was facing off against the eager pinked haired kid, Natsu, nodding his head in approval as he did. Happy that there was enough space for the two of them to safely cut loose.
Taking his eyes off the other mages and looking over to his opponent, who was currently doing a few pre-match stretches, Naruto narrowed his eyes slightly. His hands stuffed into his pockets as he began to consider the upcoming match.
He could just use a Shout or two to show him the difference in their forms of magic.
He could go with Lightning Magic he learned over the years-as the Dreyar family was known for their canny ability to use the element.
Hmm, what to do-what to do?
Thinking as he did so about how hard he should be on Natsu, a part of him thought about crushing Natsu like a bug and showing the Guild his strength. That however wouldn't win him respect, instead it would be seen as Naruto bullying a weaker mage, and could backfire in terms of gaining the allegiance of the Guild. Plus it might also demoralize Natsu as a Wizard, which was the last thing Naruto wanted to do.
With that in mind, Naruto decided that he would need to scale his attacks down a little bit. Give the boy a fight, but not go all out from the start. After all the kid wasn't an S-Class mage, and you needed to be at least that to stand a chance against him.
See, the unique thing about those who dabbled in magic; there was a sort of rating one could be classed in to know where they stood.
There were the usual E-D-C-B-A Rank Wizards which were the primary forces of any guild.
Then there were of course the S-Class Mages and even the SS-Class Mages.
Above those stood what was known as Saint Class Wizards-one Jose Porla came to mind when using this level of power as they were above SS-Class but beneath the actual class that they should be.
That class just so happened to be the level that exceptional few could go beyond and get labeled as King Class Mage-of which he could count on both hands and have a couple fingers left.
Gildarts Clive was a level beyond King Class where he had actually attained the even rarer level of Transcendent Mage-of which he knew two-and one was a 80 year old man in Alverez while the other was Gildarts himself.
Above the level of Transcendent Rank you had the classification of Transcended Arch-mage of which Naruto knew only one singular person to attain this; and that redhead had been missing for years when he gave up looking for her after the war.
After that there was the even more rare acquisition of Divine Class-a rank in which Acnologia as a human attained in his descent into madness.
And finally you had the one in which a single person in history had attained-the Ascended Divine; of which he himself was the sole possessor of the rank.
He had worked for millennia to ensure his power was considered to be unmatched-fought countless wars and attained immense knowledge of various types of magic in order to maintain his illusionary lifestyle-hell at one point he had been worshipped as a deity with one eye who was known for his immense knowledge. That was what Naruto didn't want, but he rolled with it because it suited his needs at the time, and then the era in which he was considered a God faded away with time.
He was anything but a God.
"So I'm curious Natsu, curious about why are you so eager to fight me?" Naruto asked calmly as he shifted around once more. His right leg sliding slightly forward, and his left leg slightly back and to the side. His body square to Natsu as he kept an eye on the eager pink haired Dragon Slayer, careful in case the kid decided to jump the gun and attack him.
Hearing the question, Natsu paused in the middle of one of his stretches, a slightly surprised expression on his face as he heard the question he had just been asked. His expression turning slightly thoughtful as he pushed himself to his feet, his fists raised and ready for a fight.
"Because I reckon you're strong, and I want to fight you to test my strength. Also, also I want to fight you, so I can prove to Igneel that I'm strong, and so I can push myself to be even stronger, so that one day, one day I can find Igneel!" Natsu's replied, his voice rising as he continued talking, getting more and more passionate as he did so, "Besides, what if you're too weak to be Fairy Tail's Guild Master, I mean to be Guild Master you need to be strong like gramps?!"
If only he knew.
"That's fair enough, it sounds like you have a pretty reasonable reason to get stronger." Naruto replied with a nod of his head and another small smile. The buzz of conversation around them picking up in the crowd surrounding them, as everyone began to get excited for the upcoming fight. "Alright then I'll give you a fight so that you can prove to Igneel, and yourself, how strong you've become."
If it was the same Igneel he was thinking of, the color him surprise. He had actually managed to learn patience and understanding after so many fights.
"Get ready then, because I'm about to barbecue you! I'm gonna kick your ass!" Natsu shouted back as an aura of fire expanded around him. The pink haired Dragon Slayer trying to psych himself up as he saw the confident smile on Naruto's face, his words carrying no real malice to them.
"Are you ready Natsu?" Naruto replied interrupting Natsu's ranting, a grin on his face as he once again saw himself as a kid in Natsu.
Seeing this Natsu immediately adopted a serious expression on his face, his fist clenching as he prepared to attack. After a few moments though, the serious expression once again twisted into a fierce grin as Natsu prepared to lunge forward and start the fight.
Grinning slightly, Naruto raised his own fists, his eyes noting Natsu's extremely sloppy form. Assuming as he did so that the boy's attacks would be wild and unfocused, substituting skill for sheer power and ferocity.
The crowd began to murmur again as they saw this, causing Naruto's grin to grow larger, his heart beginning to beat faster in excitement for the conflict to come, it had been too long since he had done something like this. The surrounding mages, they all had absolutely no clue what his magic could be. The sheer diversity in the types of magic in the world made it almost impossible for them to guess, especially since Naruto showed no outward sign of what his magic might be like some Wizards did.
"Begin." Naruto said softly, his words still audible to the rest of the crowd.
In response, Natsu wasted no time in getting into a proper stance, as he instead threw caution to the wind, as with a mighty roar he charged at Naruto. The Dragon Slayer having no real plan in mind, other than to go in fast and hard with a barrage of flame powered punches.
Seeing this Naruto could tell that there was no real strategy in Natsu's charge, the boy instead likely going off of sheer instinct and natural fighting ability. It was certainly an interesting approach, if not a wise one. After all Naruto wasn't a run of the mill Wizard, one who could be overwhelmed so easily.
Standing his ground as the Fire Dragon Slayer charged, Naruto, much to the shock of those around him, didn't move. That is not until Natsu was almost on top of him, because just as Natsu's right fist was about to make contact with Naruto's head, he moved aside with a quick side step to the left.
The small action leading to Natsu's wild swing completely missing Naruto, even as, in the same motion the blonde brought up his fist, just as the now off balance Natsu went past him. His clenched fist glowed for the briefest of moments as a black hue surrounded his flesh for the briefest moment before it ended up slamming into the pink haired boy's gut, almost folding him in two as Naruto followed through with his punch. An action that brought Natsu crashing to the ground partially winded where he slid back a few feet and rolled once for good measure.
But the effect of his response was temporary though, as Natsu managed to use the momentum of his fall to roll back to his feet. With Natsu now standing a couple of meters from Naruto breathing heavily, his eyes narrowed, and now cautious as he kept his distance from blonde. The punch had stung him, but not taken him out of the fight, not by a long shot.
"Come on kid take this seriously like I told you. Remember what what I said when we were getting ready to begin, you'll have to come at me intent on killing me if you want to defeat me. Try thinking before acting, it may help you actually land a strike next time." Naruto called out, trying to be helpful, though he didn't even try to keep the smile off his face as the murmurs from the crowd started getting louder again.
Taking a quick glance around, Naruto saw that most people had expressions of pure shock on their faces, 'Oh come on, it was like they thought I'm some kind of a push over. There was a reason that I was named the Guild Master after all, cheeky little shits.' Naruto thought as he looked around at the other Wizards reactions
It was not too long before people to started shouting at Natsu to start fighting harder, likely it was the people who had placed bets on him winning the fight. Still they seemed to have the right effect, as the pink haired teen stopped for a moment, before fiercely pointing at Naruto and yelling. "Hey! What are you waiting for?! Take this seriously you won't get another lucky shot like that again!"
Naruto snorted in amusement at that statement, finding himself liking the overconfident kid. "I will start taking this seriously as soon as you actually start fighting me with the intent to kill. Is this all that little upstart Igneel taught you, how to do a lot of yelling? Come on boy I thought you wanted to prove how strong you are! So far all I'm seeing is a bunch of hot air, show me what it is that the King of Fire Dragon's has taught you, or are you really that pathetic?" Naruto growled out-faking his annoyance to see if it would get a rise out of the teen.
That taunt definitely succeeded in getting Natsu's attention, if the death glare he sent Naruto had anything to say about it, clearly there was a line you don't cross with Natsu and Naruto had definitely just crossed it, "I'll show you what being a Dragon Slayer is all about, COME ON I'M ALL FIRED UP NOW!" Natsu shouted as he slammed his fists together in front of him.
As he did so flames started to flicker and appear around Natsu enveloping him in what looked like a cloak of fire, the air around him getting heavier and hotter as he started releasing his magical power, the pink haired teen clearly building up to do something big and explosive.
"FIRE DRAGON'S: IRON FIST!" Natsu shouted before he leapt at Naruto, moving faster than before, as he crashed his flame enshrouded fist down upon the blonde. The area beneath Natsu exploded with flames, as Natsu's strike hit, smoke and barely controlled fire erupting from the point of contact. Natsu's grin widening as he saw it as evidence of landing a clean hit.
"AYE SIR! GO NATSU!" Happy, Natsu's companion, who also happened to be a small, flying blue cat, cheered in a squeaky voice. As he leapt into the air, his white wings spread as he shouted his support for the son of Igneel from within the crowd.
The small cat, expressing his happiness that his partner had started making progress, he wasn't the only one either, as the whole crowd started cheering as the fighting started up again. The loudest cheers coming from the gamblers who had placed their money on a surprise victory from Natsu.
"How do you like that!?" Natsu shouted as he landed back on the ground, his eyes fixed on the slowly dispersing cloud of smoke, a large grin on his face.
However, as the smoke cloud cleared Natsu's and the rest of the crowd's eyes widened slightly as they saw Naruto had disappeared. The only thing that was visible being the smoking crater caused by Natsu's attack.
"You're slow little Dragon Slayer." Naruto spoke up in amusement, before he appeared directly behind Natsu with a light chortle, "I will say that I am impressed. To think you have been imbued by Igneel's Flame of Emotion, it is rare to see the power of flame be imbued and used so readily, much less a Dovah Sos." Naruto stated calmly, he hadn't even needed to use any magic to get out of the way and simply jumped over him as his strike landed on the ground which made him think the attack had landed. A slight grin on his face as he kicked Natsu in the back, sending the surprised pink haired boy stumbling forwards and almost falling to the ground.
From there, Naruto inhaled deeply, he wanted Naruto to take him seriously; very well, he would take this as serious as Natsu would-meaning not at all. As his energy gathered he began to release it, "~Tiid Klo Ul~" Naruto intoned as a blast of energy was expelled from Naruto's mouth, slamming into the pink haired dragon slayer and slowing his movements down.
This included his five primary senses, his perception, and pretty much everything about the boy was caught within a time field controlled by Naruto-though temporarily.
He smirked as he simply grabbed Natsu's moving fist and aimed it at his cheek, putting it against his own face and stepped back just in time to watch Natsu strike himself and go flying with a cry of pain and panic.
He watched as Natsu rolled to a stop a few feet away where he sat up and looked at Naruto in shock.
He wasn't the only one as many of the guild seemed surprised at what his magic had done; they had never seen anything like it before.
And what were those words he had spoken-they sounded so foreign to them-though Laxus felt them to be familiar for some odd reason, not knowing that the Lacrima in his chest was resonating with the energy he had sensed from the scarred blond.
"I told you before, take me serious. You still lack the intent to kill." he crossed his arms at Natsu.
"~Wuld Na Kest~"
Disappearing from where he had previously been with a quick flash and a air-shaking declaration, Naruto appeared directly in front of the Fire Dragon Slayer, in another flash, and slammed his ebony covered fist down on Natsu's head, like a hammer.
With another crash of thunder the blow sent to the Natsu flying head first to the ground, a yell of surprise and pain leaving his mouth. Before he made impact though, Naruto grabbed Natsu by the back of his vest and threw him away from the ground, saving him from a painful landing. The throw instead sending him slamming into the ground a few meters away. Natsu releasing a cry of pain as he made contact with the ground before once again rolling with the strike and finding his feet once again, his pink hair now spikier than ever and several minor burns and scrapes now covering his body.
"Ha, wow you're...really strong. A lot stronger than I thought." Natsu's shouted once his head stopped spinning, his fists blazing with fire once more, "AWESOME! LETS GO AGAIN!?" The Dragon Slayer continued enthusiastically before inhaling deeply, preparing for his next attack.
In response Naruto only smirked as he watched Natsu. Once again making comparisons to himself back in his youth, it was scary just how similar the two of them acted. Though that time for Naruto had been many years ago, and since then he had realized that patience, self-control and restraint, were far more important in a fight than overconfidence and bravado.
Still the boy was young, and lacked the experience needed to hone the energy he had into what he truly was, where soon enough he would learn the same lessons that Naruto himself did.
"Come on show me the power of a Fire Dragon Slayer, boy! Show me your strength!" Naruto called out, a grin on his face as he saw Natsu rear his head back as fire began to stream from his mouth.
"FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!" Natsu suddenly bellowed, an intricate magical circle appearing in front of him as he brought his cupped right hand to his mouth, and then unleashed a blazing inferno from his jaws. The blazing tongue of flame speeding through the air towards Naruto, devouring the oxygen in the air and spreading out as the dense pillar of fire closed in on him.
In response though the Guild Master merely grinned in excitement as crimson lightning began to spark around his body for all but a moment as he physically took the hit head on. The fire engulfing the Naruto's form and temporarily hiding him from view.
Natsu grinned as he saw this, his breathing a bit more ragged after releasing the attack.
"Alright, I got him!" Natsu shouted a few moments later as he pumped his fist into the air in victory. This time though the crowd didn't celebrate with him, as they instead kept their eyes open. After all this had happened just a few minutes before, and they all knew what had transpired after that.
A few seconds later as the fire died down, Natsu's eyes widened when he saw Naruto standing in place without a care in the world, though now he was wreathed in a sparking embrace of crimson/black lightning, which covered him from head to toe, small bolts shooting off to hit the ground around him and disperse, "While you aren't bad, downside is you aren't that good in order to actually make me fight seriously. However, I noticed in our fight that you were getting better. Unfortunately though, I have other challenges to take on, so I think play time is over for now." he told Natsu honestly.
He would help him grow stronger; he just didn't know it.
Some in the crowd jeered at that proclamation by Naruto, apparently they wanted the fight to continue not wanting it to end so soon, not when they had just started to witness his magic. Others though grew cautious as they heard that, the more experienced Wizards having noted that Naruto's attacks had been simple, yet brutally efficient. Which told them that the Guild Master was holding back, and that Natsu was currently way out of his league.
As for Natsu, he didn't waste any time, as he ignored Naruto's comment and instead, immediately started charging Naruto's current position, his entire body enshrouded in fire as he completely ignored the still active lightning that was sparking around Naruto, and instead tried to get in close so he could take the fight to his Guild Master.
Natsu pulled his fist back again as he got closer, and Naruto noticed that he was easily moving twice as fast as before. His passion apparently lending him strength as he fought with everything he had.
Naruto narrowed his eyes as he saw this, the blonde having noticed that the Dragon Slayer seemed to be getting stronger and faster the longer the fight went on. The kid's emotions seeming to lend him more strength and power, the more powerful they became.
A loud crackling noise filled the area as Natsu brought his flame-coated fist into contact with the blond, with it appearing to many of the spectators that Natsu had gotten another clean hit in, and that the blonde's lightning had failed.
That was until with an explosion of lightning Natsu was blown away once again, this time crashing into the ground hard and rolling for a dozen meters before going still, his body twitching uncontrollably and his skin covered in dozens of blackened burns.
"Damn, maybe I was a bit rough on the kid." Naruto said into the silence that followed Natsu's failed attack, his hand raised up to his neck in embarrassment.
It seems his Crimson Conqueror, was still as strong as ever.
The technique had been his attempt at reverse engineering the Raikage's Lightning armor-failing the attempt, and discovering a far more powerful variation of lightning manipulation in the time he had been trying. Now the Lightning itself would expel immense amount of Yin energy that would mix with the lightning.
His Obsidian Destroyer was another form of his attempt at recreating Tsunade's own powerful strength-and partially succeeding, but rather than the strength she had, his was just overwhelming to the point it could crush entire mountains if he were to use it at full power.
Both techniques were actually not magic but his chakra manipulation techniques-his magic was something far superior than his Crimson Conqueror and Obsidian Destroyer could achieve. He hadn't used Magic in his attempt to remake the abilities of two of the strongest Kage in his history.
Now, don't get the wrong idea; he had eventually succeeded in remaking the Strength of Tsunade and the Lightning Armor-and various other forms of the Lightning Armor. With his various transformations in using his Lightning Armor he experienced various changes of power, but the base statistics of his muscles, reflexes and the synapses in his brain, would all increase drastically whilst also providing him with an offensive protection that would zap anyone who got too close.
"No Natsu; are you alive, why aren't you getting up!?" Happy the little blue cat wailed as he ran to Natsu's prone body in tears, almost hyperventilating as he began shaking Natsu's limp form, before he turned his tearful gaze to Naruto. "How could you, you monster? He was my best friend, how could you kill him?" the cat wailed in horror.
Naruto rolled his eyes in amusement, "Shush little kitten, your friend is still alive, he's only unconscious. I may have given my technique just a little bit too much when I used it on him. Don't worry though, he will be up and on his feet again in a few minutes, though he might be feeling a bit twitchy for a few hours." Naruto replied to Happy, his eyes crinkled in mirth at the little cat's reaction.
The little blue cat looked up at Naruto with teary eyes as he heard that, but happy that his friend was ok. After which he proceeded to sit down next to Natsu's head, and slowly began patting the pink haired teen's cheek.
Naruto grinned at the crowd, "Right then, onto the next challenger. Come now, who wants to face me next? Come on don't be shy, step forward!" Naruto said loudly, as he gave Natsu a slight glance, noting the boy's potential before he looked back to the rest of the crowd of mages. Allowing Macao and Wakaba to drag Natsu's unconscious body away as he did so.
~XxX-Within the crowd of Fairy Tail Wizards-XxX~
"Damn, the matchstick never stood a chance, what a loser!" Gray muttered, embarrassed at witnessing his friend and rival's one sided fight against the blonde Guild Master.
Mirajane, who was standing next to Gray as he said this, frowned slightly at the comment, "Well I am not really that surprised. Master wouldn't have picked Naruto as a replacement if he wasn't strong enough. And as strong as Natsu is, he isn't in the same league as Naruto who looks to be around S-class at the least." She replied trying to defend Natsu from the harsh criticism from his rival.
Still, she had seen three different forms of Magic used by the blond; meaning that just like Master Makarov, he was proficient in the use of various styles of combat rather than relying on a single ability. His Shout Magic-as he called it-was very unique in how he used it. She had never seen anything like it before.
And the other two Magic abilities were still unknown to her. She hadn't really gotten a look at them. She presumed the Red Lightning he used was a unique form of Lightning Magic he had picked up in his travels-having never met Naruto before her induction. The final technique was even more mysterious as she hadn't been able to fully look at what all it could do.
Gray blinked twice at that before conceding. "Well I suppose when you say it like that it is kind of justified. Still put me up against him, and I reckon I could take him, he is good with his magic yeah, but I've seen much more impressive stuff from Laxus!" he admitted. Though he would admit the Shout Magic he showcased was still impressive; even if he didn't use much of it.
"Ha! Does that mean you're challenging him next Gray, like a real man!?" Elfman shouted exuberantly causing several of the Wizards around him to slowly inch away.
Gray scowled at that, and made to retort, before he could however he was cut off by Erza.
"No he will not be challenging him next. For I will!" Erza spoke up a determined look in her eyes as she glared at the figure of the blonde wannabe Guild Master, who was nonchalantly standing in the open space sending anyone who met his gaze a kind, yet challenging smile.
As if daring them to try and fight him.
Erza's eyes flashing with irritation as she saw the irresponsible way he had thus far treated being Guild Master, such as these flashy and unnecessary challenges. She could not allow him to be Guild Master at least not until she had gotten a feel for him as a person, and from what she has seen so far she has been unimpressed, he was arrogant, rude, laid back and totally irresponsible.
With that in mind, Erza stepped forward into the arena like space and shouted her challenge out so all could hear, "I, Erza Scarlet, an S-Class wizard of Fairy Tail challenge you Naruto Dreyar to a contest of strength and skill! What say you?!"
"Two things Red, stop being overly dramatic and formal, this isn't a play; this is a fight. Second, don't act like you're my better just because you don't know me and think I'm someone that isn't always around to be seen. I fought, I clawed, and I bled my way to reach the level of power I achieved and have fought against opponents that would make anything that the lot of this guild combined would look like a kitten in comparison-not including dragon's. But anyway I accept your challenge girl, I had a feeling you would try it on with me!" Naruto responded his voice slightly annoyed by her attitude towards him as looked over to the armored redhead, a smile making its way on to his face, as he took in the slight flush on Erza's face at being mocked so blatantly, and her growing scowl as her shock and embarrassment turned to anger.
"Prepare yourself!" Erza commanded sternly a she stood opposite Naruto in the informal arena, her armor gleaming in the midmorning sun.
Naruto nodded as he heard that, his smile fading as he saw the determination on her face. His eyes narrowing as he saw she was about to make her first move.
"REQUIP: LIGHTNING EMPRESS ARMOUR!" Erza cried out suddenly, her body abruptly becoming covered in a golden glow.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at the sight before him. The girls previous silver armor having vanished in a flash of golden light, before it was replaced by a different set. With her new outfit consisting of golden and light bluish armor.
The breastplate of her new armor was decorated with golden trimmings, and it had thin plates going up to surround Erza's neck. Attached to the breastplate were spiked pauldrons, also a gold and light blue color. As well as that she was also wearing similarly colored armored gauntlets, greaves and knee guards. To finish off her assemble she had thigh-high boots with high heels and was also wielding a long spear, which had two spear heads that had a decorated circular wheel connecting the shaft with the spear heads.
All in all her appearance was now quite striking and fearsome, the armor accentuating her beauty and her curves far more than her previous armor had.
"Damn that was impressive. Though I have to say go for it Red, if you've got the goods you might as well flaunt it!" Naruto called out his gaze taking in her cleavage and lithe figure. Naruto appreciating a beautiful woman as much as the next man.
"This is my Lightning Empress Armor, whilst I am wearing this your 'Lightning Magic' is all but nullified, so unless you have another trick up your sleeve you are in trouble!" The fearsome redhead called out, ignoring Naruto's comment, seeing it as the distraction it was as she instead raised her weapon. Her long spear becoming wreathed in lightning as she pointed the tip at Naruto's chest.
"From seeing how quickly you performed your Requip, Erza Scarlet, the Titania of Fairy Tail, I have to admit that I'm impressed. Clearly the rumors I heard about you must bear at least some small measure of truth. But I'd be careful if I were you, over confidence can be your downfall, I wouldn't count me just yet." Naruto replied, as he met Erza's fierce gaze with a placid one of his own. His attention entirely focused on the battle as oppose to Erza's body, after all he wasn't some teenage child, Naruto had some semblance of restraint, "Remember; you want me to take you serious; come at me with the intent to kill." he said seriously.
"Bring it!" she smirked.
Then it began, Erza starting off as she leapt at Naruto and brought her spear down upon him, the blade being trailed by lightning as she struck hard and fast.
But instead of trying to block, Naruto simply took a step back and then used his 'Lightning Magic' to transform his body into pure lightning, before he shot off to the side in a flash of lightning. After that he then turned and raised his arms up, his hands making a two gun shapes as he drew on his magic, before unleashing a hail of bullets made of pure, and heavily condensed lightning at the redhead.
The action forcing Erza to jumped back from her previous position, her spear twirling in her hands as she started swiping and deflecting the lightning bullets away with her spear of lightning, charging it with electricity as she did so.
Deciding that he was not making progress that way, the blonde stopped his onslaught and leapt back, giving Erza a chance to be on the offensive again. The blonde Guild Master having done this to keep the fight moving and so he could see what else the Titania had. After all when it came to a battle between Wizards, information was almost as important as the spells you used. The more you knew about the person and their abilities, the quicker you could find a gap in their defences and defeat them.
In the end Naruto didn't have to wait long for Erza to once again go on the attack.
"LIGHTNING BEAM!" Erza shouted as she aimed her spear at the blond and fired a blue beam of lightning towards her opponent from the tip of her spear. Only for the blonde to cover his arm in lightning magic and bat the attack away almost nonchalantly.
"It seems we are at a bit of a stalemate here Red, your protected from my Lightning magic just as I am naturally strong against your attacks. So we are at an impasse!" Naruto called out to Erza hoping to provoke a response.
The response he received was Erza's spear disappearing and a new weapon being reequipped the new weapon was a sword which was quite intricately designed with a multicoloured purple and silver blade which was accompanied by two red diamond shaped gems, equally spread apart on the sword's blade. It was the sword which was usually wielded with her Black Wing Armour an armour that enhances a person's offensive capabilities.
Shooting forward again Erza leapt at Naruto once more bringing her new blade down upon him in a slashing motion. Naruto however instead of leaping away or blasting her with his lightning magic decided it was time to show the girl just where it was she stood in comparison to him.
As Erza struck at him he filled his lungs with magic before shouting out the three words that shook the world around him, "~FUS ROH DAH~" as the words left his mouth so too did a wave of swirl blue energy that struck the oncoming Titania like a brick wall, the force of the shout throwing her backward like a rag doll, the shout didn't just affect Erza however it also ripped a three foot deep, nine foot across and fourteen foot long gouge out of the earth in front of him, having a side effect also flattening some of the nearby trees and staggering the watching crowd.
Erza's body felt numb, and her head felt like it had been hit with a war hammer. Staggering to her feet her head ringing she tried to remember what had just happened, the last thing she could recall was charging at the smug blond. About to knock his ass into the ground before she heard a sound that reminded her of thunder itself, and then nothing.
As her head cleared up her vision returned affording her the sight of Naruto stood nonchalantly twenty five feet away just behind a large trench. As she stood she found that the feeling in her body returned, bringing with it a dull ache, looking down she could see she had lost her sword and her armour was badly scratched in places, probably from the blonde's last attack. Turning her head she took in the crowd of watching wizards who were just staring at the fight in shock, having seen-and felt-the strength of the blonds attack.
"You still awake over there red not to shaken up by the attack, I've heard it can be real nasty if you are caught unaware by my Unrelenting Force shout? Are you OK to continue or would you rather give up?" Naruto called out to Erza slightly concerned, she looked to be spacing out, hopefully she hadn't hit her head to hard to fully concuss her. He shouldn't have worried as instead of a response all he received was a glare and Erza reequipping into a new set of armor.
"REQUIP: ADAMANTINE ARMOUR!" Erza shouted as she was covered in golden light, only for her battered Lightning Empress Armor to be replaced by a very thick bulky looking armor made of numerous layers of thick studded dark colored armor covering her from head to toe with her face being the only part of her body open to the air. Attached to the elbows of her armor were two large white shields which gave the armor most of its defensive power.
Aw, how cute; she was going for an absolute defense.
Taking her new highly armored equipment as a challenge; Naruto decided to test out its durability, after all it was only polite to take up the challenge and test out whether it is as strong as it looks. "Very well if you're sure you want to continue I won't stop you, prepare yourself!" With that said Naruto took a deep breath and filled his lungs with even more magic before. "~YOL TOOR SHUL~"
Erza this time took his warning seriously and slammed her two arm shields together preparing to ride out his attack with her high defense so she can get a feel of his Shout magic, which would hopefully help her in making strategies to combat him and this versatile form magic. As she took a defensive position the attack struck taking the form of a massive wave of fast almost white hot fire, the attack struck and her shield started shaking from the force of the attack.
Even as she watched the wave of fire crash down on her defense as it split around her in two separate waves of flame that flashed around her armor to either side of her she could still see its effects on her Adamantine Armor. The metal shields were now glowing red hot and getting closer to white because of the heat and the air around her had becoming thick and suffocating, the air now tasting like Sulphur.
He was actually taking her more serious than he had done with Natsu-showing he was actually showing her how much more he saw her as a threat.
Within thirty seconds the attack stopped but the damage done was great, her armor was glowing from the heat and the ground all around her was scorched black, the dirt even turning to glass in some places. Deciding she had taken the defensive long enough Erza prepared to strike back at Naruto going on the offensive again before.
"~FO KRAH DIIN~" the blond sent another wave of shout magic at her this one was like a blizzard it was ice blue and formed of powerful and fast moving ice magic that struck her with all the strength of the last. This time however instead of Erza's Adamantine Armor weathering the storm, her shields cracking in various places; though it remained solid and intact.
However, if she thought that was all; she was sorely mistaken as a sound of crackling red electricity filled her ears just as a blackened fist crashed into her shield and shattered shattered the thick steel with Naruto's face behind the open hole of the shield as his fist slammed into her her head, carrying with it the metal shards of her own shield causing her to stumble back in surprise as she was sent rolling away.
"Tell me Red, did you know that when you rapidly cool super-hot metal that it cracks and weakens it to the point even a slight breeze eventually shatters it. What you just saw was that but on a larger scale, your attempt was admirable but you're not the first person I have met who has attempted to use heavy magical armor to try and weather my abilities. I have become quite accomplished at breaking various forms of defenses; it was admirable. Admirable, but foolish. Better luck next time." he said calmly.
Collapsing to the ground after the attack Erza barely heard the blonde's words, her armor was covered in scraps and frost from the blizzard and the shrapnel it carried, she had blood running down the side of her face from where a jagged piece of metal had hit her forehead. All in all she was a mess, she had been on the defensive ever since the blond revealed his new magic, not getting enough time to strategize or think, instead she was just constantly defending herself from his onslaught. Drawing in her rapidly dwindling reserves the redhead tiredly prepared to requip pushing away the agony her body was in and the throbbing pain in her forehead, she decided to go down fighting.
Or at least she tried, before she was able to requip the blond flashed forward in a bolt of lightning and delivered a brutal lightning infused sucker punch to her stomach, breaking her armor even more and forcing the air out of her, causing her in her already battered state to succumb to unconsciousness.
"Sorry Red, but if we were to continue; you would only get more hurt, better to call it a day here and now, you can give it another go later." Naruto muttered to Erza as he caught her unconscious body stopping it from crashing to the ground, before turning to the watching crowd who as he turned to them burst out into a cacophony of shouts, cheers and exclamations of shock and awe.
Alright, that is Chapter Four finally done.
Hope I gave a surprise with dear old Paarthurnax/Partysnax being mentioned in a Flashback. That was a most definite spur of the moment idea I came up with, and I am sticking to it cuz let us face it-the Old Boy is the homie, and in the original version (Not V2) the ideal of the Shout Magic was fucking fantastic. It never went into detail beyond him wanting a 'unique' form of Dragon Slayer magic that was not seen as Dragon Slayer Magic.
With Paarthurnax being brought in, well, it gives the sense of a backstory; which there will be one in time-where a growth can be seen. NOW, another note to mention is that Naruto's variation of 'SHOUT' magic and the power of Paarthurnax's Th'um ARE NOT one and the same. Paarthurnax imparted the knowledge of his own Thu'um to Naruto in a manner similar to that of the game where he does the same with the Dragonborn when they meet.
That doesn't mean that additional lore will not be brought up-cuz I am not sure what I wanna do now that i have done this.
The Shout's you have seen so far are: Slow Time, Whirlwind Sprint, Fire Breath, Frost Breath, Unrelenting Force *(For those wanting a translation without having to google them)*
In addition to this; we have yet to see the abilities from Chapter one be used again; cuz that is another 'variation' of Magic Naruto created himself.
That means in the chapters you have read so far-he has displayed 2 thus far; Shout Magic, Unknown Secondary Magic, with a Hidden 3rd Magic that will be revealed IN TIME *(Most likely Phantom Lord or slightly after)* and a hint to the wise; he shares it with another Guild Member; NOT SAYING WHO OR WHAT, but you'll know it when you see it MUAHAHAHA
Now; in addition to having 3 'Original' forms of Magic, Naruto could hold other forms of Magic that were seen/mentioned in the original creator's 2 versions; no spoils sadly so you need to keep reading to see what makes an appearance.
Now, before anyone gets pissed and goes "Crimson Conqueror is Conqueror Haki' and the 'Obsidian Destroyer is Armament Haki' no they aren't. The description I wrote in with them SPECIFIES that NEITHER ability uses any form of Magic as they were his failed attempts to remake the Lightning Armor and Strength of 100 used by the Raikage & Tsunade, where he made slight improvements in his own ways; but they aren't the full power of the Original Techniques he wanted as they too have their own weakness.
Yes, the two abilities are MODELED off of the two, but they aren't the same.
