Two years later, on a tropical Ocean in the Pokémon universe, there was a ship that was swimming towards one of Aloha's Islands, where a Pokémon Tournament was in progress.
Luigi was sitting on one of the ship's benches and looked to the ocean, on the bench was a white ghostly dog sleeping next to him, its name was Polterpup and it found its owner Luigi through some shenanigans in Evershade Valley, right now Polterpup was sleeping now.
Luigi gave a warm smile to Polterpup and petted its white plasmic fur, as Luigi was a little boy he always wanted a doggy, even though that his doggy is a ghost he loves him, he is maybe the only ghost that Luigi is not afraid of it. He looked again on the ocean and thought about the next smash tournament, everyone is gonna be back who was in the previous in.
He would be lying if he wasn't excited to see some old faces back to the action again, while also some new fighters will jump into the ring as well...Okay, he admits some choices that have been taken into the next tournament were questionable, especially him.
Him...form all they could choose from, why him? urgh! He is getting shivers by just thinking about him!
" Hey, sweetie!" said a voice from the heavens out of loud, which makes Luigi jump a little, and somehow polterpup didn't wake up. " H-Hi Daisy!" he said with a shaking voice and looked into the eyes of the Princess of Sarasaland, Daisy graines de la vie, his Girlfriend. " So are you excited to see Ash again?" she asked him in a sunny voice while folding her hands behind her back.
Luigi started to scratch behind his head and began to speak, " I kinda am, I mean he missed the one tournament. but I must say his Charizard and Greninja are Good fighters." he said while continuing to pet Polterpup, his eyebrows make a concerned look,
" Luigi?" Daisy asked with worry in her voice while little waves could be heard touching gently the ship, "Is something wrong?"
" Yes...It's about the Master core." began Luigi in a serious tone " you only watched the event like anyone else through a broadcast, right?" he looked at her, while she started to remember
" Yes, I did, that...thing came out of nowhere!" she said while waving her hands slightly around,
" Yes, it was. Good thing Shulk defeated it. but..."
" But what?"
" Is this just being me or is behind this incident more than meets the eye?"
Daisy looked at her lover in bewilderment, " more than meets the eye? what are you talking about?"
" Well... it seems that was some sort of planned by someone or something... It can be for testing us out or trying to eliminate us. I should stop this conspiracy theory." he added a slightly awkward laugh and both notice that the ship has landed already and they entered the ground of Akala Island.
After some hours they lifted the Paradise resort, a bolned young man was outside and enjoyed the warm sunlight. " I bet that the water must feel great," he said in a British accent while having his hand leading at his side from his red-futuristic clothing, his name was Shulk burranic.
He looked around and saw two half-squid's and half kids, Orange and Blue, the name were, Orenji Konbu she was the squid-girl with Orange hair.
The squid-boy with the blue hair was Ao Kumo. these two were sometimes hyperactive kids with paintball guns, which lucky for everyone here they didn't have their paintball guns with them. thanks to Sonic for motivating them that nothing will happen.
"So? you are ready to see Ash?"
said Mario while waving to Shulk, Orenji, and Ao " by the Time we reach him, the Pokémon Tournament will be in the Finale round! if we hurry up we might catch a glance!" he said and the others began to hurry up. while Luigi had trouble keeping up.
While in the Arena in the Pokémon tournament, Ash gave command's to his friend Pikachu, to dodge the opponent's final Pokémon a Charizard, the opponent gave the command of Fire blitz, the Charizard roared and collected blue energy and catapult itself forward to Pikachu wich dodge in a short time. " Pikachu! Use thunderbolt!" he said to his friend, Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt on the Charizard and it was a critical hit! The Charizard began to roaring angered and its Trainer gives the command of using scratch.
but before the claw hit, the Charizard was outmatched by a volt tackle, it fells and stopped moving. " Charizard is defeated! He cannot continue fighting! The winner is Ash Ketchum!" yelled the announcer and the audience applaud loud, the trainer thanked his defeated Pokémon for fighting this long and hard. he walked to Ash and gave him his hand and both shake them in respect towards each other. He and his Pikachu were called to a pedestal where a golden trophy was waiting, the trophy was a Poké-ball with a crown on it.
"Now." began the announcer to speak, " you have come a long way, of Training and fighting, in the past, you have won many battles but also lost many, and yet you used the frustration in the lost matches to grow into a better trainer. you are nowhere, take this Trophy with pride for being the first Pokémon-master in this generation!" The announcer ended his speech and Ash with joy-full tears in his eyes grabbed the Trophy, and held it in the air with pride. The audience applauds even more and stronger, " I archived my dream...finally." he said in glee.
He walked out of the arena and saw a familiar plumber in red, the plumber holds his hand above him in greet. " hey, Mario you are here too?" he asked Mario
" yes, we are. you did a good fight, well even though we have missed the rest of it." he said while chuckling warmly, " How does it feel to achieve your dream?"
" Great! It feels like have grown much bigger!"
" well, that's good to hear, I bet you are wondering where the others are. well, Pit and Kirby were going to getting snacks. while the others were getting outside to a Meadow. come." he said and Ash followed him before they get to the meadow, Ash did put his Trophy in his house to make sure it didn't break it. he can show it to the other's later
Zelda Aisling egana was waiting on a meadow with Link and the other fighters, " well, it seems Kirby and Pit are eating the snacks probably on their way back, like usually." said Link with a cheeky tone in his voice.
" sure...like you are better." Zelda said while rolling her eyes, Link started to laugh at the princess's comment.
she sighed that is the hero of Hyrule who was put into one-hundred years of slumber, while she kept the calamity at bay for so long.
She looked around and saw the bounty hunter Samus Aran laying in the grass while looking at the clouds in the sky. she was one of few who didn't like the idea of not having their weapons with...and yet she did Not have her weapons with.
"what do you mean by that?" Link asked her in confusion
" Remember the time where you tried to bake some potato chips with a banana in strawberry jam?" she asked in a cold voice, which Link replied insulted
" that burning was not from me! Yoshi had stolen my stored apples, and run after him to get them back!...okay that burning was from me." his voice was a mixture of awkwardness and shyness. " well, at least I am willing to try to create new food with foods of other worlds!" he said in founded drive " I've heard there are tasty berries in this world!" while his mind was on cooking again, Zelda sighed again, he will better not change.
she looked around again and saw Rosalina bleu Nui, she was some sort of a princess in a bright blue dress, she had blonde hair and blue eyes. she was a mother to a star race known as Lumas.
these cute little things in a star shape form and are having little black dot's eyes. she saw also Palutena, a Goddess of light, she has green hair and eyes. her skin was pale and wore white clothing. She was talking to Pit Icarus counterpart, Dark pit, or called by the nickname Pitwo. " I am sure the Tournament will be exciting," she said in a slight smile to Dark pit, who was his arms crossed.
" And?" he said annoyed " It annoys me greatly to fight some boring fighters." Zelda looked at him slightly angered and dark pit didn't see it.
"Hey, guys!" a familiar high voice called, she turned around and saw Ash Ketchum who was waving his hand. She waved happily back, they began to talk about the Pokémon tournament that they just missed.
" so? am back in?" Ash asked in curiosity,
" yeah! you are!" said Mario nodding his head.
Ash jumped in joy " yes! I am ready for it!"
" Look's like he is happy," said Princess Peach happily and giggled aloud.
" So...uh...How was Charizard to all of you?" ask Ash the other Fighters, he let Master hand borrow his sometimes very rebellious Charizard.
" Pretty good!" said Luigi, " he was a real challenge! and your Grenija too!"
" Woah! thanks! I am wondering If Zygarde is gonna allow it. I think I told you all about right?"
" yes how you have," said Mario as he kneaded his nose. "are the other's ba-"
he was interrupted by a familiar voice " we are back!" said Pit aloud while having a small basket with some tropic fruits in them.
" Woah!" said Daisy surprised while holding on her face shocked " you both didn't eat anything at all for the first time, that's a new record!" while Link and Dark pit began to snickers at these words, Kirby looked determined and Pit was a bit offended.
" Hey take that back!"
" No! It's funny!" she said sassy while giving Sonic a fist bump. Pit was still offended " No, it's not!"
" Yes, it is."

" Oh, mama mia!" Mario began to speak in acted panic and raised his hand on his forehead " They have mutated to an Old couple!" Peach began to laugh quietly.
Luigi sighed in disbelief and began to look around, he saw that shulk was kinda smirking at them and Saumus had standoff the ground and shaking her head in disappointment.
Luigi looked up in the sky and notice a blue electricity in the air which was accompanied by cracks and was getting bigger and bigger. " Uh...Guys?" he tries to give attention to a possible threat, but they were all focused on the little strife, "Guys?" he tried lounder and crack were getting more, it started to annoy him greatly.
He took a deep breath and yelled "GUYS!", they turned around and saw Luigi pointing in an angered manner to the sky, which burst into a Portal, and a clawed black prismatic hand appeared, and hold it on the edge of the portal. Luigi shrieked and run's towards to them to hid behind his big bro.
" L-Light..." said a shattered voice coming from the portal and ahead began to appeared from the portal's white light, the head had a triangle-like shape and had spikes on it. the 'face' had colorful pieces that have similarities of shattered glass paintings. it clawed with its other hand the portal wider open, now it floated outside of the portal, the fighters were getting a ready position.
The legs of the prismatic creature were fragile and had three claws on each of them, and the head had a funnel behind it.
It floated there calmy...until it began in a loud trembling shriek " LIGHT!" and it shot itself forward to the fighter's and its claws was glowing in silver color.
the fighters dodge barely away, " Woah, what's wrong with this thing?" asked Pit worried and Mario catch the fruit basket and hide behind a rock.
" I don't know." said Mario while running back to them " but we can't let it go around!" as soon he finished his speech, he began to run towards the creature, and take a high jump, and preformed a high kick into it's back. The creature roared and one of its big hands crap Mario on his left leg, Mario saw for a short time the back of the funnel, it was transparent and a black star was been seen.
before he could produce a thought the creature threw him away. " MARIO!" yelled Peach and was stretching her hand to her Friend. Mario was about to hit a rock but a blue flashing light appeared and catch him barely.
" be careful of flying hours." said Sonic with a smirk and put Mario carefully down.
" Thank you." said Mario while looking at the creature that was now targeting Pit. " We have to be careful...we are not having the world of Trophies luxuries of being turned into a Trophy upon deadly wounds...which means if die here we are gone." need Mario and Sonic gave him a thumbs up. "But, you will hear for me, for convincing us to NOT bring our weapons with.'"thought Mario sternly in his head and run towards the creature.
It's shrikes uncontrolled the words" LighT!... Humans... suffer!" its 'face' began to glow and fired multiple colors beams, Ao and Orenji dodged while Ash began to command Pikachu to use Thunderbolt, it hit the creature in a full force but the horror of Pikachu, it absorbed the bolt and its body glowed in a short time yellow.
The prismatic hands clawed on the creature's body in a gleeful manner and it shouted " More...MORE! the hunger...!" and began to flying, almost throwing itself towards Pikachu wich was saved by Sonic. " It can absorb Light!" yelled Palutena telepathic in the minds of the fighters " do not use your Pikachu Ash!"
Ash nodded his head, " It can mostly focus on me, Zelda or the legendary Pokémon I've just called quickly!"
Luigi raised an Eyebrow and ask " What Legendary?"
" Lunala!" and a blue beam was shotted by the bat-like legendary of the night, Lunala.
The creature roared again, and its hands glow again in sliver and tried to hit Lunala but she dodges it with ease.
Pit, was flying in view of the creature, " Hey! do you want a Light-chicken wing?" said Pit and moved his blue glowing wings in a tempting manner, it looked confused
and it spoke,
" what...are you?...are you mocking me, young child?" and it began to grab but Sonic used a homing attack on its back and flew forcefully on the ground creating a crater in it, pebbles flew around and the creature laid there motionless. the fighters began to surround it and were looking at it. " so now what?" asked Sonic while doing stretches " that was kinda boring, I thought that would be a challenge!"
Mario was just shaking his head, always the cool guy. But he notices that Paultena was close to it and had a worrying look in her eyes. " Is something wrong Paultena?" he asked and she turned around to him
" I need to say something that I found about it...but I don't how I should saying it, hehe..." she said in concern and Mario tensed up
" what is it?" he asked and the fighters were looking at her expecting an answer of the creature. "Lunala told me about him...telepathic..." she said nervously and began to look at Pit, who had a confused look. " It's...It's... a being of Light."
" HUH?!" yelled Pit out of sudden, " No way! No way a lifeform of Light will be that evil!" he said in bewilderment, and Samus shook her head in annoyance,
" Never judge a creature based on their shape..." she thought in her head, through the years of experience of Bounty hunting had taught her that.
"Pit..." said Mario and Pit looked at him, " I know that's for you world shattering...but Light can't be always gentle," he said in an empty voice and Pit looked shocked at him
" and you accept that? you are always the Hero!" Pit was on the verge of yelling,
but Mario clenched a fist " Yeah, But I am still a Human! I am flawed, so sorry If I am not fitting your Hopes!", while the Mood started to tense up,
The claws of the creature began to itch slowly, " Come on!" said Ao trying to calm the situation down " It's not time to fight over it!" Pit glared at Ao and said,
" It is!"
" No, it isn't!" Mario tried to bring Pit to sense " Look, we don't even know if he Is evil."
" Of course it is! then why else did attack?"
" It might be just afraid, with Light not being always gentle, I mean by that it can be Violent!"
" Why are you so kind by this thing?"
" Thing? Listen he haves probably a Name." Mario started to turn to Palutena " What is his name?"
" His Name is Necrozma-" but before she could finish her words Necrozma's Hand grabbed her Face.
to the Horror of Pit, she let out a scream while from her was emitting a bright Light, Necrozma's body broke to pieces and a greenish light appeared
...the Light vanished and was Palutena were she stood, but she had a Prism-like helmet with glowing green eyes, looking at the fighters in a threatening manner, Necrozma's hands had attached themselves on her back like wings.
" LADY PALUTENA!" Pit screamed in despair, he plumed on his knees.
" Humans." Necrozma spoke through Palutena's body, " you all will burn in the burning Light of my wrath!" He lifted one of Palutena's arms, and in it began a ball of light to form, and it was fired.
" Watch out!" yelled Zelda, she cast quickly a fire spell and fired on the incoming Light ball, It exploded in a mixture of Light and fire particles.
" Cursed Human!" yelled Necrozma. to Luigi's surprise, he seemed in a way afraid and in shock? he shook his head, He can think about that later! t-there must be a way to defeat this raging body-snatcher!
Necrozma began to fire multiple small balls of light. some hit the pebbles of earlier and they turned to Ashes. " Woah!" said Sonic excited " That guy is definitely not for sunbathing!"
" SONIC! This is serious!" yelled Mario angered, it enrages him how Sonic is not taking this remotely seriously
. Before they could act Necrozma was looking at Lunala and screamed in a tone that was dripping violet poison "YOU! Servantess of Humans...you should give up your Laborhood now! or they will betray you, and using like a tool they would throw away if it's no longer fit their Labor." Necrozma talked while looking hatefully to the ground. " If you are not willing to give up your Labor...Then you will be next!" he said while using Palutena's finger to point at Lunala, which shirked angered to Necrozma.
" What should we do?" asked Peach worried, and looked at the fighting legendary's, Necrozma had just dogged a blue beam of Lunala and began to fly in the air. she hated the feeling she could not do anything useful, she heard a loud explosion near her.
She started to clench her fist...and she notices something as soon she thought it, she looked in the direction of Necrozma.
she was seeing a slight pink light from his chest, which he put one of his hands on. she wondered what that just was.
" was that just me?" she thought at herself but shook her head in denial. " No, it couldn't be me...I am sure that was just Palutena...I am useless."
she heard a yell from Mario, she saw Mario looking at Kirby " Kirby! copy me!" Kirby nodded and began to suck up Mario, and spotted him out again.
Kirby magically wore Mario's hat, " Good." said Mario, while getting up, and wiped away the spit.
Peach saw that Mario put something in his back pocket. " Kirby you will fly over to Necrozma, and attack him with a fireball. I got an idea."
Kirby nodded, and he took a deep breath and took fly! Kirby was getting closer, while Necrozma tossed Link away, who attempted to punch Necrozma. " pathetic!" said the prism thief aloud, boast in a mocking attempt to Link. Necrozma began to summon Paultena's rod. It was blue and golden and had a double swirl on both sides, on its tip was blue ball floating. " Now I may smite you!" roared Nerozma again, as he lifted the rod to fire blue balls to fire on Link, who has a determined face on him.
they heard a high voice that said " Take that!" and Kirby threw a fireball, it hit Necrozma who just turned around which resulted in him getting the fireball in the face, he yelped from the sudden burn of the fireball, but before he could scream a word he felt something hard, hitting his back he turned around and notice that stone hit him!
he couldn't finish he thought's then Mario had Puch Necrozma in Paultena's face and grab the rod, and started to pummel Necrozma with it, " Palutena!" Mario yelled to Necrozma " Fight back! you can get out!" before he could hit another spot on Necrozma one of his Black hands grabbed Mario and hold in a chokehold.
" Human! why are all of you so persistent?!" the prismatic thief asked in wrath but Mario notice in his voice was hurt and confusion.
"MARIO!" yelled a familiar voice and a man in a green threw themselves into Necrozma head-on,
" Luigi!" realized Mario surprised, and Luigi in full force which causes him to drop Mario, He landed on his feet perfectly
" don't you dare to hurt my bro!" yelled Luigi while having an accusing finger pointing on Necrozma. " I may be a coward but It will vanish as soon my big bro is getting hurt, you hear me?!"
"Luigi..." said Mario in a silent proudness, his little bro courage is showing again.
" you fool!" Necrozma roared angered and above him the same electricity in the sky earlier, Shulk realized that Necrozma would have to do something with it, but before he could warn them all...the sky broke and a Portal appeared wich a strong wind began to pull in, all fighters they were present and Including Necrozma himself were upward into the portal...
Above a destroyed highly futuristic city that had some smoke emerging from the buildings, that was located in a grey desolated wasteland the portal began to appear, some of the broken lamps in the town began to flicker strongly before some of them exploded.
The portal opened and the fighters fell toward the ground which luckily for them had multiple layers of Ashes, " my dress is dirty!"
" shhh!" make Mario with his finger in front of his mouth, " I don't see Necrozma or Lunala. They could anywhere right now...I am worried why there are so pile's of ashes." the fighters nodded with their heads, and silently walked around.
they walked past multiple buildings with broken windows, some pieces of the buildings were on the ground, then Luigi yelp in shock out of the blue. " Is something wrong?!" asked Mario his brother concerned, Luigi, pointed towards a pile of partly burned bones,
" Oh, starts!" shouted Peach in shock while Rosalina quickly hid the eyes of her Luma, " what, happened here?" she asked in concern
" was that Necrom-" began Pit but they heard a loud explosion and shriek. Ash's eyes widened in shock " Oh, No! Lunala!", they run after the sound and reached the front of a broken tower whose triangle-shaped lamps were flickering. but the attention of the fighters had Necrozma while he was pining down Lunala's head brutally.
"This what you get for serving humans," he spoke in spite before he looked towards the fighters," It seems the humans are just slothfully, they sent their heroes to pay their crimes." The fighters were glaring at in Determination, Necrozma let out a chuckle of malice, "so be it..." and then he exploded in a bright yellow light, the fighters gasped, they feel the burning and the blinding power of Necrozma touching their skin, it felt alive, divine and complete. after the light turned down.
They saw his 'New' body, His black prism body had to gold his claws became his feet, his legs became his arms, from his back were a golden tail and dragon-like wings completely made out of light. his torso was firm like armor, his true head had eyes like pure stained glass and had like a golden mask with sharp teeth that were smiling. on the side on his head were little four wings." NOW YOU BRUN IN MY WRATH!" He screamed in high anger and flew toward the fighters.

The fighters dodged Necrozma barely, and he soon followed up with a beam of Light wich almost hit Zelda, but she quickly warped away. Luigi fired a greenish fireball at Necrozma which was absorbed by Necrozma.
wich Necrozma began to chuckle aloud, Luigi's eyes widened in fear. "you fire attack became useless!" he mocked as he grabbed Luigi, he yelped in great fear, Necrozma bowed his face close to Luigi, Necrozma's eyes were analyzing him. " Hm, for a hero you are afraid of me...could this be." began Necrozma to speak quietly, then his teeth were getting grinded on each other in anger before he screamed disgusted, " They rather let a coward die than to come at their own?! ARGGHA! THIS WILL NOT SAVE THEM FROM ME!" he threw Luigi who was caught by Kirby who sucked him up and spitted out him somewhere safe.
" Thanks, Kirby!" said Luigi and hugged the puffball thankfully, Kirby smiled for a moment before he said in his quirky voice
" you can thank me later, but we have to put him down first. or he is gonna steal all the light!" and Kirby waddled away, while Sonic quickly realized that playtime was over,
" Woah! that guy became a living Sun studio!" Sonic said in a teasing tone, for that a big ball was flying towards him wich dodged with ease. " Haha! Missed!"
" SILENCE!" screamed Necrozma and fired multiple balls of Light wich vaporized some parts of the surrounding buildings. The squid-kids, the princesses run away and some of the weaponless fighters had to go with them to a safe place. "This is a god, we're fighting with!" said Zelda in the realization.
Peach gasped aloud, " Oh, No! I hope we can defeat him." she said worried
"I am the only one, who Is confused about why Necrozma is so angry with Humans?" said Ao confused.
wich Shulk replied with "Maybe because he sees them lesser beings." and he had a look of wisdom mixed with slight hate.
" are you sure?" asks Peach suddenly wich some of the fighters looked at her in surprise.
" Why did you think that?" asked Samus know, which took a deep breath, " It may sound stupid since, like Samus, I didn't fight a god. But my point is if Necrozma sees Human as lesser beings, then why was he so upset about thinking That Luigi being a coward that the Humans will rather let a person die like Luigi than coming at their own?" some fighters were surprised by the princess of the Mushroom kingdom statement, but she wasn't fished there "but especially he seemed to be more enraged by it. My heart tells something that something had happened between the Humans and himself. But that doesn't explain yet these huge piles of Ashes." as soon she said it they saw Necrozma floating above Kirby who fired again a Fireball which was already futile. Peach notices the pink glow from earlier and saw the Necrozma eyes looked for a moment in pain as one of his Arms touched the spot where the glow again. " what is that?" she wondered in thought, was it really Palutena? or was it something else? and the spot that was glowing, she doesn't his body structure but the spot is where the heart lies.
Mario jumped and kick in Necrozma's face with full force, Necrozma staggered backward, " you!" he screamed again and began slightly to cough, which unknownst to Necrozma some of his glowing body's particles were floating out and began to fire a beam of light to shot on the ground.
To the confusion of Ash who was standing, but before he could say anything a large line of Light creeps across the ground, Ash put his arm in front of his eyes and closed them. But before the light could swallow him, Sonic came yet again to the rescue. A large pillar of burning light had shot from the ground, Shulk looked at it in Horror, If Sonic didn't get Ash in time...he would have died right there.
Before he could yell, something suddenly appeared around the corners of his eyes were a blue glow and Time itself became slower, his mind started to get open to let a Vision of Future to enter. He saw the fighters sitting near a table, seemingly talking to each other. He saw Mario among them, Mario look to the side and seems to call someone before they could come in view the Vison changed into a different one. He saw a red and blue creature roaring above the clouds fighting white creatures with angelic wings. Shulk was getting confused, these Vison doesn't make sense, normally he has more useful visions, but he knows that these Visions somehow play a very important role in the future.
before he could complain, the vision changed to the destroyed tower from this town, on the tower was a hole which had an odd-looking Machine in it. The vision ended and Shulk looked in the direction of the Tower, " Ash!" he called to Ash who was running to Shulk in rapid breath's.
" w...what is it?" the trainer asked the seer.
" I had a vision from a hole of the tower which has a machine in it, maybe your Pikachu can make this hole and hopeful that the thing helps in this situation." Ash nodded and they soon reached the tower's wall. Shulk looked a the wall and notices that there was a metal door that defected, he looked to Ash which gave a command to his Pikachu. " Pikachu! Use Iron Tail!" Pikachu's tail began to glow in a bright white, and Pikachu hit the door and it breaks it open.
Behind the door was the Machine like the Vison had shown him, the Machine had four glass tubes wich three has been broken, on the Machine itself was multiple straight lines creeping on its surface. beside was some sort of a pipe and it had a pistol-shaped tip. " that must be the machine!" Shulk said in an Opimitict manner and pick up the 'gun', while Ash looked worried at the Machine. " Shulk, I don't have a good feeling about it." said Ash with a tone of sadness in his voice.
