Kaiju Fighters Ch. 16
In the R Gojira is sitting next to Rodan on the couch in the TV area. Anguirus in his personal chair (that is torn from his spikes). They are watching some show about humans in weird outfits, different color for each person, fighting monsters.
Anguirus laughs, "I can't believe humans actually watch this stuff?"
"You're the one who picked this," Gojira tells him, resting his head on his knuckle. He stopped paying attention a long time ago.
"I was curious. What you think, Rodan?"
"I think it's kinda cool," the pterosaur admits. "The only thing that could ruin this is if they fight giants using robots," after saying that; the monster grew into a giant and the humans summoned a robot to help them fight it. "Nope! Still good."
Manda, Baragon, and Lora are talking in the kitchen area of the R&R.
"I can't believe they're watching kids show?" Bagan tells the others.
"Actually, I think Rodan is the only one watching," Lora told them. "Anguirus is complaining and Gojira doesn't looks like he cares."
"The show isn't that bad," Manda says. "I've seen it a couple of times on my own," her eyes widen as the water dragon turns to them. "Just don't tell Rodan. If he finds out that we have anything in common, he'll never shut up about it."
Lora holds a hand over her mouth to hide her laugh as Baragon grins.
Mosura enters the room, "Hello, my friends!" Following behind her are Moll and Kimiko.
"What can we do for you today, Mosura?" Baragon asks.
"It's more like what you can do for Japan," Kimiko says as she raises a suitcase and sat it on the table. When she opened it up the human started passing out a sheet of paper to everyone.
"What's this?" Rodan raises a brow.
"These forms are the start of your integration into our culture," the agent answers. "The agency wants you to become full citizens."
Gojira asks, "And what's the point?"
"It will make the humans feel better being around them if we accept their citizenship," Moll and Lora tell him as they hand Kimiko their already signed papers.
"Look, Goji," Kimiko Explains. "All you have to do is pick a surname and sign it on the paper, so I can take it to the agency, and then you are a proud citizen."
"Surname?" the kaiju king raises an eyebrow.
"It's a name for a family, my student," Caesar tells him when he walks in. "And I'm sure that you already have one in mind," he picks up a pen and held it up, waiting for his pupil to take it.
Gojira looks at it for a moment, then at everyone else who are currently filling out these forms before taking it out of his teacher's hands. "Thank you, sensei." he had only one other name in his mind. The name of someone he figures he'll never see again.
The former kaiju signed his new name.
Gojira Gojo.
Mosura sees the name and a knowing smile appears on her face.
He then hands the paper back to Kimiko as everyone else was doing the same.
"Thank you," she places the papers back in the case. "Now, I'll return to the agency, and you should have your new identity next week," Kimiko closes the case and picks it up. "If we're lucky," as the agent is heading out she notices the kids show on the TV. "Who's watching Soldier Sentai?" After she asks everyone points at Rodan and he shrugs while giving the agent a nervous smile. "Why am I not surprised?" then she leaves.
Rodan then rushes back to the couch to catch the rest of the show. "Still a good show."
