Kaiju Fighters Ch. 17

"ALOHA!" Kimiko shouts while walking out of the airport. She is accompanying Gojira, Rodan, and Manda on a mission to Hawaii. They were told that there has been an increasing amount of kaiju activity lately. "I can't believe we're in Hawaii!" the agent is acting more like a little girl on the first day of summer. "I've always wanted to come here."

Rodan stretches his arms, legs, and wings, "I'm just glad we're off the plane." Gojira and Manda were doing the same minus the wings. Each of them pulling or carrying a bag with them.

Kimiko glances at the trio, "What? You guys don't like to travel?"

"It's not that," Gojira tells her. "It's mostly being seated down for so long with nothing to do."

"I guess you guys just need time to adjust to traveling," Kimiko then looks towards Manda and notices that she is pale. "Hey, Manda are you all right?"

"My stomach just feels weir—" the former sea dragon suddenly gets a panic look on her face, covers her mouth with her hands, and runs to a nearby trash can. When she places her head into the opening one can hear her gagging.

"What's wrong?" Gojira asks.

"I guess she gets air sick," Kimiko answers.

Rodan scratches his head. "How can someone get sick from air?"

"For some people who don't usually fly their body can't really stand traveling by plane," Kimiko explains as Manda got back.

"I'm never flying again," she tells them while wiping something off her mouth. "I didn't know one's lunch can come back out from where it entered. And it doesn't taste too good."

Kimiko wears a look of disgust after hearing Manda's comment.

"Makes sense," Gojira thinks for a moment. "Manda was a water dragon back in our world."

"Oh, yeah! I forget about that," the agent realizes. "Look, we better hurry to our hotel."

Rodan asks "What's a hotel again?"

"It's a place that would let people stay for a while when you're on business trips or vacation. They would often have food, a spa, even a pool,"

"I could go for a swim," Manda said. "Maybe I'll feel better."

.oOo.

Later after visiting the hotel, they were supposed to be staying.

"I can't believe they gave our room away!" Kimiko hollers. "We were only three minutes late,"

"What do we do now?" Rodan asks. "Camp out in the woods,"

The agent sighs, "We might have to."

"That may not be necessary," their attention is brought to a woman wearing a green shirt, a blue skirt with green flowers, a pair of sandals, and a flower in her blond hair. "Aloha! I'm Lily and I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. I know of a recently opened hotel that has plenty of room."

"Really! Where is it?" Kimiko asked.

"It's actually not far. I'm on my way there. You can come with me if you want."

"Thank you."

.oOo.

Allie sits at the front desk, reading a magazine, waiting to greet any guest who walks in. She is wearing her usual red shirt with a name tag and jeans. Her red hair was put into a ponytail that went off to the side over her left shoulder. She then hears the door opening.

"Aloha!" Allie puts the magazine down. "Welcome! Here at the Lotus Inn, we treat you like ohana."

"Aloha! Allie, I'm here with some guests," Lily is standing there with four people following her. Three of which look out of place. "This is Kimiko, Gojira, Manda, and Rodan."

"Welcome back, Lily," Allie says to her boss/friend. "Two rooms I'm guessing," she turns to search through the keys on the rack behind her.

"Oh, yes please," Kimiko says in relief.

"Will any of you be sharing a bed?"

"No!" the agent nearly shouts. "I mean, we will each be sleeping in our own bed," she feels her face starting to blush as she glances over at Gojira.

"Here you go," Allie places two sets of keys on the counter.

The agent takes them. "Thank you."

The red head then shouts towards the door near the desk. "Hey, Goro! We have some guests."

"Coming, Allie!" the voice from the other side replies. Out from the door is a man wearing dark blue shorts and unbutton shirt, with a yellow t-shirt, with a name tag on the unbutton shirt. "Aloha! May I take your ba..?" he stops immediately when he sees the unusual trio.

Gojira speaks, "Gorosaurus?"

"Wow!" he runs up to them. "Gojira, Rodan, Manda. I can't believe you guys are here?"

"Nice to see you too, Gorosaurus," Manda gives him a quick hug. Allie's face turns red seeing that these two are friendly with each other.

"It's just Goro now. Saurus doesn't really fit for a human name," he tells her they pull away from their hug. "So, what are you guys doing here?"

Kimiko walks up to him, "Excuse Me. Agent Kimiko," and pulls out her badge "We came here to investigate some kaiju activity in the area. And it seems like we found it unless there's anything else you know,"

"No, not really. The only ones here are me and…" Goro stops in mid-sentence. "Oh, no!" he looks over at Gojira and points at him. "We need to get you out of here before—" then, the door opens again.

A large bulky man walks in barefoot, wearing an unbuttoned orange shirt, and a pair of shorts. "Alright, I just put the supplies back in the shed," he stops and glares at Gojira. "You!"

Gojira growls, "Kong!" as a memory of one of his predecessors getting a tree shoved down his throat flashes before his eyes.

Goro whimpers "Too late," as he pulls Allie behind the counter for protection. Before Kong and Gojira could charge at each other, Lily gets between them and stares Kong down.

"Kong! What have I told you about starting fights especially at the inn?" she asks. "Even if it involves someone from your past,"

"Not to start it," he relaxes a bit. "And to forgive and forget the past," Kong then glares at Gojira. "For the record he did burn me,"

Kimiko looks over at the gojirasaur, "Huh! Goji?"

"Says the guy who electrocuted me, bashed me, and not to mention shoved a tree down my throat," Gojira replies.

"Kong?" Lily was back to staring at him.

"He started it!"

"What did I say?"

"Forgive and forget the past," he growls before turning to them. "Aloha!" then he leaves the room.

"Perhaps I should show you to your rooms?" Lily tells the group. "Oh! And Goro, Kale called in. So, I would like you to clean the pool after it closes."
