Kaiju Fighters Ch. 18
"Here are your rooms," Lily tells them, referring to two doors that are side by side. "I hope you'll enjoy your stay. If you need anything just call."
Rodan takes one of the keys and says, "Well, let's go see our rooms," starts pushing Manda into one of the rooms. He then feels someone pulling him by the wings. He looks back with an awkward smile, seeing Gojira.
Kimiko walks up to them, "Not so fast, bird boy," and switches the keys. "Goji, do me a favor and don't let him out the door," she and Manda goes into one of the rooms while Gojira throws Rodan into the other one before going in as well.
Rodan can be heard saying, "Man! I was so close!" before the door closed.

Kimiko is in a bathrobe getting ready for a shower before Manda walks in.
"Oh, sorry. Guess I should've knocked," the sea dragon apologizes.
"It's alright."
"Hey. How long are you gonna be?" Manda seems a bit nervous. "I'm starting to dry up."
"I shouldn't be long. There is a pool here. You could swim in it until I'm done."
"Okay. I'll be back in a while," she then walks out.

After sitting in the room for half an hour, Rodan starts getting bored.
"Come on, Gojira," he pleads. "I can't stand being in a small place for very long."
"Kimiko, asked me to not let you out of the door so you're not getting out the door."
"Ugh!" Rodan turns around and groans before noticing the window. "She didn't say anything about windows, did she?"
"Well? No," Gojira thought it over for a moment. Rodan walks over to the window, opens it, and flies out. Gojira just watched as he did.
After a few moments Gojira walks up to the open window to watch the sunset. He then notices Lily walking towards the woods and not long after she went in he sees the ape going in after her.
"What are you up to, banana breath?" Asks himself.

Manda is enjoying her swim in the pool. Jumping out of the water and diving back in. The people who were there left not long after she got in. She rises out of the water and notices that it is getting late. Manda decides that she should only be there for a few more minutes. Relaxing a bit, she lays on her back and starts floating.
Goro yells at her from the edge of the pool "Manda! The pool is closed now!" he is holding some sort of net.
"Sorry! I was starting to dry up and I needed a swim," she starts swimming up to the edge.
"I understand," he crouches down as she gets close. "So, you some sort of monster hunter now?"
The water dragon shrugs "Only for the bad ones. If I may ask," a devious grin crept on her face. "What's with you and that Allie girl?"
"Allie?" Goro's face starts blushing. "We met after being on the island for a few days. She had just lost her boyfriend. I showed up and started to comfort her. The next thing I knew she was calling me her boyfriend."
"Let me guess. You just went with it?" Manda chuckles a bit as Goro gives a nod. "That's kind of sweet. Weird, but sweet."
"I liked to say that I grew fond of her after the first week," he admits. "In truth I started liking her after I first set my eyes on her red hair, her beautiful brown eyes, and her cute, freckled face," he stops after noticing Manda giggling.
"I never thought I'd see you talking about a girl like that," she thought for a moment. "But it's so adorable with the way you're acting right now. I wonder if acting so much like humans has anything to do with our new bodies?"
"How should I Know? I've never been interested in that magic stuff."
Manda looks behind Goro and says, "Oh! Hey, Allie!" He quickly gets up to turn around, only to slip and fall into the pool. When he came up to the surface; Goro could not help but notice Manda laughing at him and he soon joins in.
"I knew IT!" they both heard Allie yelling at them from the pool entrance. "The moment I saw her hugging you I had a suspicion, but this confirms it!" her face is turning red.
"Allie, what—" Goro starts to ask.
"Don't you Allie me!" she cuts him off. "Who is she your old girlfriend!?"
Manda tries to explain, "Allie, it's nothing like that."
"Don't! Just don't," Allie runs off with tears pouring out of her eyes.
Manda turns to her friend and tells him "Goro, I'm sorry," as he gets out of the pool.
"Don't worry," he grabs a nearby towel and starts drying himself off. "Allie has attachment issues. She just needs some time to calm down. Whenever Allie gets like this, she'll just head to her parents' house for the night. I'll try and explain everything tomorrow," they then hear a woman screaming.
Manda quickly jumps out of the pool, "That's Kimiko," and dashes for the Inn with Goro not far behind.

Gojira is still looking out the window. He sees Lily coming back inside with the human not even noticing Kong following behind.
The Kaiju King narrows his eyes, still trying to figure out what the ape is doing. His attention is quickly brought to the sound of a woman screaming out of terror. He recognizes it belonging to Kimiko and rushes out the door.

Kimiko has just walked out of the bathroom, once again in the bathrobe. She is still drying her hair. Walking over to her bed, noticing that Manda had yet to return. The agent then goes over to the window thinking We still have a few days. I guess we could use that time to go sightseeing since we already found our kaiju.
Kimiko turns around and immediately sees her worst fears. She jumps up on the nearest bed not even noticing that she is screaming. Gojira then bursts through the door nearly tearing it off its hinges.
"What is it!?" he asks seeing her standing on the bed pointing. The former kaiju then looks at the spot the woman is pointing at. Across the floor there is a small, hairy, eight-legged spider. Gojira raises an eyebrow and faces Kimiko. "Really?"
"Don't really me! Just kill it!" she orders. Gojira just walks up to it, lifts his boot up, and sets it down until he hears a squish.
"Happy now?" he looks back at Kimiko.
"As a matter of fact, I am," she tells him while she gets down from the bed. Just then Manda, Goro, Kong, and Lily came in.
Manda is the first to ask, "What happened?"
"A spider," Kimiko answers as the three said kaiju stares at her.
"You're kidding right?" Goro asks.
"No, I'm not kidding," the agent shivers. "I really don't like spiders."
"If you don't like spiders then you're going to hate Kumonga." Gojira tells her. Kimiko rose and eyebrow. "A spider that's kaiju size." he answers before the agent had the chance to ask. Her eyes grow wide eyed with the thought of a spider that big.
Manda tells the gojirasaur, "Okay! stop scaring the human."
"I don't see what there is to be afraid of." Kong says. "I mean most spiders here are so small. Kumonga was so big that he could spin a web over this entire island." After he finished he felt Lily smacking him on his chest. "What?" It did not hurt him or anything, but he had no idea what he was doing wrong. Lily just put her finger over his lips signaling him to shut up.
Lily sighs, "I guess I need to call the exterminator? Then turns to Kimiko. "Sorry for your troubles. To be honest I'm the same way with snakes. I don't know what it is about them but something about their long, scaley, slithering bodies just creep me out."
Hearing that, every present kaiju turns to Manda who shrinks under their gaze.
"Thank you," Kimiko bows. "I guess the only thing to do is to go to bed. Good night everyone."
"Goodnight," they all replied as everyone except Manda heads out the room.
"Hey, Goji!" Kimiko calls out just before he walked out. "Thanks."
"For what?"
"You killed that spider."
"It was nothing."
"Good night, Goji. Oh! And tell Rodan good night from me as well."
"I'll tell him when he gets back."
"Gets back," she and Manda jump back hearing this.
Manda asks, "Where did he go?"
"Don't know. He flew out the window."
"Goji, I thought I asked you not to let him out…" she pauses, realizing something. "…the door?"

Allie walks down the street still crying. She felt a pain in her heart. Her shattered heart. Allie could not believe she had lost another boyfriend.
Reaching into her pocket Allie pulls out a photo of her and Goro. Turning it around she looks at the writing on the back.
Allie + Goro
Together forever.
The photo reminded her that she should at least give him a chance to explain. Allie has never been a rational one. Always jumping to conclusions. Perhaps that is why no one believed her about Johnny.
Allie turns around to head back to the Inn. Then, she stops; hearing someone behind her. "H-hello, anyone there?" turning back around, she sees no one. Suddenly, she feels a quick sharp pain in the back of her neck. Allie then finds herself falling to the ground. Not being able to move her arms, legs, or anything. She wants to scream but she can't even do that.
"You have a familiar scent," a voice tells her. A long black and yellow bug-like leg steps into her view. Then she notices three more. Before Allie knew it, she was looking into four purple eyes. This thing leans in close and inhales. "Kong and Gorosaurus." This thing knows about Goro. His name was the only one going through her mind 'Goro'. She feels a single tear falling down her cheeks. Then, she notices she is being cocooned by this thing.
