Kaiju Fighters Ch. 41 New Year's Special Part 3
Gojira and Kimiko make their way to the security room to find only a single guard. "Agent Miyagi here! We need your help finding the hotel's owner. We have several confirmations that he is here, we just don't know where."
The alpha kaiju turns his head as there is something about this guy that he doesn't like.
The security guard carefully reaches under the desk to press a button. "Sorry, but I'll need to confirm that you are who you say you are."
Gojira turns to the agent who only response, "What?"
"Isn't this when you usually use that badge of yours?"
"I didn't think I needed a badge tonight. Also, does it look like I have pockets on this thing?" she gestures to the dress.
"Well, no. So, you have nothing?"
"Actually," Kimiko reaches under her dress to reveal a holster strapped to her leg and draws her Maser. "I have this but I'm not going to threaten him with it."
"You won't have to," the voice of the soldier from earlier walks in. "Mine should be good enough," he pulls out a Badge with the engraving of K.A.N.E. "We need every footage of the hotel owner. If you refuse, then you'll be arrested under suspicion to conspire of terrorism," with that, the security guy works to bring up several replays featuring the hotel owner. The trio watches every movement of his.
The security guard slowly makes his way from them. As soon as he reaches the door, he is grabbed from behind. Gojira raises him off the ground.
Kimiko gasps, "Goji?"
Jetson draws his own Maser and aims at the kaiju and orders "Put the civilian down!"
Gojira does not listen as he eyes the pin on this guy's shirt. He saw several people throughout the party wearing one's like it. The pin is that of a silver gorilla with a blue light in its mouth. "I knew there was something about you I didn't like," and the kaiju removes the pin. The man's face flickers away to show one that belongs to that of a gorilla's.
The soldier lowers his gun. "He's a monkey?"
The gorilla man growls. "I'm an ape!" and manages to kick himself off the kaiju only to be quickly shot at by Kimiko's Maser Pistol.
After a couple of moments, slow clapping can be heard from the corner. A tall man in a blue pinstripe suit with a brown coat over it is standing there."
"You're the owner," Kimiko realizes as she and the soldier turn their guns on him.
The Owner points a small metal tube at them and pushes a button that releases a buzz sound. Jetson pulls the trigger only to find that the Maser is not working. The same with Kimiko's.
The owner smiles as turns to Gojira. "I'm Zeus, High General of the Simeon army. Let's have a chat. Face to face," he reaches up to his own pin and presses it. Just like the security guard, his face flickers as it reveals the gorilla face.
Gojira stares for a moment before removing his glasses. "What about?"
"I've heard how these primitives treat your kind," he gestures to the two present humans. "They are a cruel bunch. Our planet is currently in danger of being consumed by a black hole. We Simeons sent a couple of scout ships, hoping to ask for sanctuary. We were even prepared to offer our knowledge in return. Instead, they were shot down before landing. One of them had my brother on it."
Gojira growls, "So, you're going to blow this place up with everyone in it, including yourselves?"
"It's a genetically locked bomb. Keyed to human DNA. The plan is to kill everyone here and replace them with one of us so we can start running things on this planet. The bomb will not harm my kind, neither will it yours. Do you really think these primitives deserve kindness?"
The kaiju looks over at the humans. Jetson narrowed his eyes and Kimiko worriedly looking at him. "Honestly, I know of humans who deserved what they got in the end. That's how pathetic they can be with their greed, petty jealousy, and even their anger. Many of the worst could be in this building right now. Gaining trust of someone who could be a great friend just for the sake of betraying them," then he glares at the ape man. "But I've seen their kindness. Willing to lend a hand to a lost stranger, giving a home to those without it, standing up for those who either can't or won't stand for themselves. I can tell you of two humans who definitely deserves kindness in return. One of them is right over there," he gestures to Kimiko. "Another would be my friend's mate. As for those who don't deserve it, Mosura always believed that even bad people need a chance to be good. And as much as I don't like soldiers, there are a few that I would respect. So, I'm not going to let the New Year's Ball drop."
The Owner shakes his head. "I'll just have to have it set off manually."
"And how do you plan on doing that from here?"
He just raises the tube and presses the button. "That just sent out signal to my comrades, telling them to set the bomb off."
"I'm guessing all of them are wearing pins like this?" the kaiju holds up the said item. "A silver gorilla with a blue light in its mouth."
"Yes? Why are you going over something you already know?"
Instead of answering, Gojira looks back at the humans, "Did you get that?"
Kimiko smirks, "Every word."
Jetson presses a couple keys and Gojira's voice sounds throughout the entire room. "Silver gorilla, silver gorilla, silver gorilla."
The soldier turns to the ape, "The conversation was broadcasted throughout the entire building."

Manda and Rodan rush into the main room.
The flyer sees two people; a man and woman dressed nicely running towards the tower. "There!" he shouts before taking off. Rodan grabs them, flies up, and hangs them up on the chandelier. "I'll take these," he snatches the pins to reveal that they too are Simeons.
Manda spots a few waiters running together with pins. The sea dragon raises her hands and gathers several liquids from the glasses throughout the room to create a wave and throws it at them. The liquid disperses, taking the pins with it.
The Prime Minister's arm is grabbed by a member of his security detail. He notices the cufflink.
"Prime Minister. We need to get you out of here," the security tells him.
"I already told you. I'll be the last out that door," the politician snatches a gun from one of his other guards and points it at the one with a hold of his arm. The guard lets go of him and the Prime Minister then grabs the cufflink to tear it off. One of his own men had been replaced.
From one of the higher floors, Varan spots a custodian nearing the tower. He is quick to ditch the coat and shirt as he jumps over the safety railing, glides to the custodian, and manages to kick him as he reaches the tower.
Varan had no time to celebrate his victory as the machine started humming. Turning around he sees that there is a waitress holding her hands one the tower. He tackles her and easily spots the pin to remove to show her real face.
The New Year's Ball quickly drops from the top of the tower and people scream in horror as it reaches the bottom. However, it stopped mere inches from the bottom. Anguirus manages to lift it over his head before tearing it off the tower and tossing it away.
The spiked kaiju grunts as he lets out a roar at the ball. He then calms down as the humans start applauding him. He smiles as he waves to them, and the others soon join him.

Zeus looks upon the screens and snarls. He raises the tube, but before is able to use it, a blue beam hits him, knocking the Simeon out.
Gojira stands over him with smoke emitting from his hand. "They're not too bad for primitives."
Jetson picks up the tube the ape dropped and puts it in his pockets. "You did a great deal of service, Gojira," the soldier turns to the kaiju and salutes only to receive a growl from him.
"Don't salute."
Kimiko puts a hand on his arm. "Goji, play nice with the soldier."
He glares at Jetson before leaving the security room.
