Noah entered the Morningstar family mansion and slammed the door behind him, taking long strides to the parlor room. Then he stopped and narrowed his eyes at his father, who lounged on the sofa with a drink in hand. "All right," he said, not coming any closer. "You called and I'm here. Make it quick because I have things to do."

"Well, if it isn't my son, Noah?" Lucifer exclaimed, gulping down his drink, and then pouring himself another. "Aren't you being a bit dramatic? Can't a man just see his son from time to time?"

"Oh, you don't give a fuck about any of your children anymore!" Noah cried. "If you can throw Angelica out on her ass and lock the door behind her without so much as blinking, there's not really any love for the rest of us. Stop trying to tell me all the bullshit!" He put hands on his hips. "Just so you know, the two gorillas you sent after me didn't scare me in the least!"

"Well, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, dear boy," Lucifer shrugged. "But you weren't taking my calls, so what was I supposed to do? I don't have much time before I have to be at the Council and have them look at this stupid ankle monitor?"

"Why are you telling me this?" Noah wanted to know. "You have to realize that I don't care by now."

"Well, it's very easy to see which parent you've chosen to side with," Lucifer remarked. Then he winced and took a drink.

"Why wouldn't I side with Mom?" Noah asked. "You treated her like dirt. You held her hostage here. Did you want me to come over here and thank you?"

"Well, I think I deserve some respect," his father drawled.

"Sorry, I can't show you something I don't feel," Noah spat. "So for the five thousandth time, why the fuck am I here?"

A smile curved Lucifer's lips. "Direct and to the point. I've always liked that about you, Noah. Since you want it quick, I see no reason to ignore you. I've decided to leave the mansion."

"What do you mean?" Noah narrowed his eyes at his father suspiciously.

"Exactly what I'm saying," Lucifer replied. "I won't live here anymore." He shrugged and smirked. "I have no intention of giving it to your mother since she had an affair with another man. And in spite of that, you still side with her."

Noah heaved a big sigh. "The reasons why Mom cheated are between you and her and I won't throw her under the bus for not being able to endure you anymore. You've become despicable!"

"I heard your baby sister was born," Lucifer smoothly changed the subject, an evil grin on his lips as his eyebrows went into his hair.

Noah went pale but stayed silent.

"Not happy about your new half sister, are you?" Lucifer tilted his head and watched his son.

"Get to the point," Noah told him through his teeth. "Now."

Lucifer just laughed and pulled keys from his trousers. "These are all the keys for the mansion. They're yours now."

"What do you want me to do with them?" Noah asked. "I have my own set of keys if I want to sleep here. But you know I'm usually needed at my club anyway. That's why I have my own room there."

"Yes, I know that," Lucifer nodded. "But these are all the keys for the mansion."

"Where are you going?" Noah asked, his jaw dropping in shock.

"It's time to change my life, son," Lucifer replied. "I'm going to open my own night club in a few weeks, which is why I wont need this place. I'll have a penthouse over it, just like you do. But don't worry. I won't be any sort of competition for you. My club will have a fetish side to it." He gave Noah a chuckle and wink.

"I don't want the keys!" Noah tried to give them back, but his father refused to take them. "Give them to Angelica or someone else!"

"Nonsense," Lucifer shook his head. "Your sister has betrayed me and decided to leave and never come back. Why would she want them? It would be good for you to have a home when you start a family with your goddaughter, the beautiful Celine!"

Noah blushed. "I don't know what you're talking about," he mumbled as he avoided his father's eyes. "I would never…"

Lucifer chuckled. "You think I don't know desire when I see it, my boy? You're more like me than you'd care to admit, I know. All you children are." He grinned. "And soon you'll see that I was right. And I have an even better surprise for Angelica…one that doesn't come with a set of keys."

Noah winced and took the keys, realizing that his father wouldn't leave him alone until he did, putting them in his own trousers. "Goodbye! I hope one day you'll realize the hurt you caused your family." He then turned on his heel and made his way out the door he'd come in.

"Oh, I haven't even started causing trouble yet!" Lucifer called after him and then burst out laughing.

Angelica Morningstar turned away from the window in the rented house and began to pace back and forth in front of it.

"Mackenzie!" She cried, holding her phone to her right ear. "Are you sure you're able to handle the renovations for Mr. Gray's penthouse. I mean, I'm on maternity leave, but it wouldn't be any trouble for me to come into the office and handle it."

"Ms. Morningstar…" Mackenzie sighed and shut her eyes tight.

"Mackenzie, we're past any kind of formality," Angelica sighed and pinched her nose, just as frustrated. "We're from the same family, after all.

"Angelica, I've handled everything brilliantly so far! I've done the main corridor, and the powder room." She tried to assure Angelica of her good work.

"It's not that I don't think you can do the work, Mackenzie. Even though you're still at an early stage of your career, I let you do work for Mr. Gray after seeing your amazing sketches. Mr. Gray also approved of them. But…" Angelia paused and took another deep breath. "But you know the situation. You know about the relationship between your mother and Mr. Gray, and…" She closed her eyes and growled as she thought of it. "I'm thinking there'll be big trouble if Mr. Gray finds out who you really are."

"I promise that I haven't seen Mr. Gray for even a second since our first meeting," Mackenzie tried to reassure her. "He's been out of the country for work. I also want to emphasize that he wanted me to remodel his penthouse. He knows perfectly well that he's my first job. Furthermore, the relationship between my mom and Mr. Gray won't come up. Not ever. I can reassure you of that."

"You're not the one who worries me, Mackenzie. I trust you. Mr. Gray could be the one who's the problem. He's no fool. He could meet someone at any time who could reveal who you are." She sighed again. "He could sue me for lying to him, and he'll sue you for lying about your name!"

"It won't come to that!" Mackenzie swore. "I really need this to start my career and I won't wreck it!"

"I don't doubt that," Angelica replied. "But this is important enough that I would really rather handle it myself. I'll put you on another project and come back part-time to handle what Mr. Gray wants."

"Hey!" Angelica cried as her phone was suddenly snatched from her hands.

"Hello, my darling Mackenzie," Klaus greeted his niece. "It's your uncle Klaus here."

"What are you doing?" Angelica stomped her foot and pouted, narrowing her eyes and crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Saving you from yourself, Angel," he explained without shame. "And stopping you from making a huge mistake."

"Give me my phone!" Angie tried to snatch it away from him, but he kept her at a distance.

"Hello, Uncle Klaus?" Mackenzie called. "What a nice surprise!"

"Same here, darling niece," he replied with a grin as he walked around the room and to keep himself from Mad Angelica's reach. "Forget everything she just told you. You're doing a wonderful job on Gray's penthouse. That's what Angel means to say but she's a bit all over the place right now and I aim to fix it. So keep up the good work while your boss enjoys her time with her boyfriend and her new baby girl."

Thank you, Uncle Klaus," Mackenzie said nervously. "I'll do my best."

"As for him learning who you are, he probably will at some point, but by then, you'll be done, so who cares?" Klaus grinned.

"Are you crazy, Klaus Mikaelson?" Angie cried, pulling on his arm.

"I think I would prefer he didn't know who I was. I'll finish the job and never see him again," Mackenzie promised.

"Good," Klaus nodded. "Take care and don't call back!" Then he ended the call.

"Have you lost your fucking mind?" Angelica cried. "I'll rip out your heart and feed it to wolves!" Her eyes were red and her body was shaking with anger. "Who do you think you are, making decisions like that? My company is mine! All mine! And you…"

Not scared at all, Klaus pulled her into his arms, under her cry of protest. She spoe against his lips before closing his eyes, moaning, and returning his kisses.

"Feeling better?" He asked as he nibbled on her bottom lip.

"Maybe," she paused. "You know how nervous I am about Mackenzie and Mr. Gray's penthouse.

"Yes, I heard and I suppose it's understandable, but you need to enjoy this time away from work. I'm sure my niece can handle both the penthouse and Dorian Gray." He slid his hands down her back and over her ass.

"Oh, I love how firm this has become," he told her and licked his lips.

She blushed, grinning. "Where's Victoria?"

"She's taking a nap," Klaus grinned.

Then they turned their heads as the doorbell rang.

"Is that for you?" Klaus asked. "Are you expecting someone?"

"Milo," Angelica nodded. "He wants to meet his new niece."

Klaus rolled his eyes and heaved a loud sigh. "Fine. Ten minutes, but no more. I need to take a nap with my girlfriend after that."

Angelica bit her bottom lip. "You know it's too early for us to resume…activities like that."

"That's why I said 'nap'," Klaus reminded her, winking and heading to the door.

The doorbell rang several times as Klaus made his way to the door.

"Damn it, Milo, stop with the ringing! Give me time to answer!" He pulled the door open and found himself face to face not with Milo, but someone else. "You're not Milo Morningstar, are you?" He narrowed his eyes at the man, who wore torn jeans and a leather jacket.

"Klaus," Sammy greeted him tonelessly.

Angelica turned her head, suddenly alerted to danger of the voice that was a blast from the past. It certainly wasn't Milo, that was for sure! She narrowed her eyes and looked at the door toward the front door. What was he doing here? Then, it hit her: Damn her father! It couldn't have been anyone else who brought Sammy to their door to piss Klaus off and start all kinds of trouble.

"Is there something we can do for you?" Klaus kept the door open and leaned against the door frame, arms crossed.

"Nothing you can do," Sammy spat. "I heard that Angie is living here. I was wondering if I could have a word with her?" He thrust his chin forward and seemed very confrontational.

"Oh, it's not temporary," Klaus replied. "We're together and we'll stay that way." He growled. "The only thing temporary about us is the location of our home."

Then, both men startled hard when the door suddenly opened the rest of the way, Victoria held securely in her arms and eying the scene with interest. "Sammy, what in the world are you doing here?"

"Ange…" Sammy whispered, looking at her as if she were some sort of ethereal being as a shy smile curved his lips. "You look good. And who's that beautiful girl you've got there?" He gestured at the baby.

"This is Victoria," Angelica replied. "Klaus' and my daughter. Now, what do you want and why are you here?"

"Really? You had a child with him?" He looked away from her for a moment and stuck his hands in his pockets. "I hope you know what you're doing."

"Now what is that supposed to mean?" Klaus snapped.

"With all due respect and honesty, I don't think you're any good for her," Sammy spat. "I don't think you and she are a good match in any way."

"As opposed to the man who didn't listen to her feelings about marriage and can't tell her that he loves her?" Klaus snapped. "I have no doubt that she had a good reason for leaving you."

"Klaus!" Angelica snapped, her cheeks becoming pink. "Zip it, please!"

"Time will tell, won't it?" Sammy gave Klaus a look. "I mean, I accepted a long time ago that she and I aren't meant to be. I just want to talk to Angelica for a moment. You have nothing to do with it, so please go away."

"This is my home!" Klaus snapped. "I don't know what your business with Angelica is and I won't move a muscle until I know what you're planning."

Sammy burst out laughing. "Your soulmate? Is this some sort of joke?"

"Even if he wasn't the man my grandfather chose for me, I love him and I would choose him again and again in a heartbeat. I don't know why he chose me, but that's another matter that's none of your business," Angelica replied, unperturbed. "Now, how is it that you were able to find me?"

"I fell in love with you, Angel," Klaus explained, enjoying the look on Sammy's face. "That's why I chose you."

"You call her Angel? Wow, you really know how to wrap her around your finger, don't you?" Sammy said dryly.

"When you were lucky enough to have her in your life, it was your job to make a good life for her. You didn't do your part by making her feel loved and cherished, so she left." Klaus snapped.

"Whatever," Sammy rolled his eyes and turned back to Angie. "Your father called me and said it would do you a world of good for me to see you."

"I'm going to kill that bastard!" Klaus shouted, his hands balling into fists.

"Klaus, let it be," Angelica urged. "This is what he wants, to make you angry. "Don't give him satisfaction. Don't let him think that he won." Then she looked apologetically at Sammy. "I'm sorry my father made you come all the way here for nothing. Sorry to cause you trouble."

"Oh, not at all. I'm here for a visit anyway. I just wanted to be sure you weren't in any kind of distress." He heaved a big sigh.

"No, I promise that in spite of what my father told you, I'm perfectly safe," Angelica reassured her ex. "In fact, I was in more danger before I moved out. But now I'm with my boyfriend and my daughter and everything is fine, Sammy. I promise. The devil and I aren't even talking anymore. I don't know what he was trying to put you in the middle of, but I don't want any part of it, and I'm sorry that you had to be pulled in too."

"I see," Sammy nodded. "So that's all?"

"Yes," Angelica nodded. "I mean I guess I should apologize for how poorly I ended our relationship because I know it hurt you both and Shane will probably never speak to me again, but…I don't regret what I did. I think it's better for all of us."

"All right," Sammy sighed. "I wish you well."

"Thank you," Angelica nodded. "Have a safe trip."

"Thanks," Sammy replied. "I might stay in town after all," Sammy grinned. Then he turned on his heel and headed back to his parked car."

Klaus growled and took a step or two, trying to go after him, wanting to give him a piece of his mind, but Angelica stopped him.

"Please don't do this," she begged. "I love you. I don't love Sammy anymore. I will say it as many times as I need to so that you understand. My father is playing a stupid game. Don't encourage him."

Klaus sighed and turned away from the door to stare into her eyes, smiling shyly before kissing Victoria's head and giving Angelica a soft kiss on the lips. "All right. I love you both so much."

Mackenzie Mikaelson strode the length of the penthouse corridor to the large parlor where she would measure the windows so they could begin to be redone. Luckily for her, Mr. Dorian Gray was still out of town for business, so she could do her work in peace.

She set her leather bag on an armchair and pulled out a measuring tape, and a ladder that had been set out by her team to help her do her work, setting it down by the arch. Then it hit her that the room was very quiet. She started to hum a song that had been on the radio on her way over to the penthouse. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a pile of records.

Biting her lip, she made her way toward them and looked them over. It appeared that Mr. Dorian Gray liked old classics like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and others like that. She grabbed a large Nat King Cole record and gently set it on the player, thinking that Mr. Gray wouldn't mind her listening to the records if she didn't scratch them.

As the soft melody of 'Unforgettable' filled a room, a smile curved her cherry-colored lips. She began to hum the song and sing a few of the lyrics, then grabbed the table measure in hand, climbing the ladder.

With the music playing loudly, she couldn't have heard anything, much less the heels clacking on the hard penthouse floor as a man entered the room. Dorian Gray set his travel bag on the floor, a smirk curving his lips.

His gaze traveled over her long legs, feet clad in high heels and black pantyhose, as well as a black pencil skirt with a very pronounced split down her left leg.

"Unforgettable, that's what you are…" She sang as she measured the window panel.

He closed his eyes, his hands becoming fists. The woman had been the stare of many of his erotic dreams and filling his bloodstream like poison for the last several weeks.

He took a few steps toward the ladder and lifted his hand, sliding it up her calf to her thigh.

She started, letting out a gasp as the ladder began to sway, doing her best to keep the ladder upright, but slipped and fell backward into his arms instead.

"Mr. Gray!" Mackenzie cried out, hand going over her fast-beating heart as he looked down at her for what seemed like way too many seconds before he let her go, planting her feet on the floor. "What…what are you doing here?"

"I live here. This is my home." Dorian smirked. "Or have you forgotten that Ms. Robinson?"

"Of course, I didn't forget!" Mackenzie took a breath. "I…I just wasn't told you were coming back to your penthouse today."

"Well, do I need to inform you of my comings and goings?" He raised his eyebrows and smirked.

Her jaw dropped. "No, no! I just…I was measuring the window. And…and if I'd known you were coming, I would have gotten out of your hair. I would have let you be in peace."

"Oh, that's not necessary," Dorian shook his head. "I don't think like that. You do what you need to do? I see you found my stacks of old records? They say whistle while you work. Are the records helping?"

"Y-yes," Mackenzie nodded. "But I'm sorry I put one on. It was very presumptuous of me."

"Of course, I don't mind, as long as you don't scratch them," Dorian assured her. "They're around to be listened to. No sense in letting them get dusty in a box when I'm not around." He paused. Are you a fan?" He came closer to her, closing the space between them.

"A fan of what?" Mackenzie asked, backing away from him and her butt hit a bookshelf.

"Old music," Dorian elaborated. "Classic stuff." He got close to her and leaned forward, sniffing the scent of her neck.

She swallowed as heat filled her body. "Y-yes," she got out. "I like them all very much. Nat King Cole has such a lovely voice."

He pulled her close and nibbled on her earlobe. "Would you like to dance?" He asked, his hands going down her back, stopping just before he could cup her bottom, then moving them and holding one out to her.

"What? No, I couldn't!" Mackenzie protested. "I'm here to do a job! I have to be professional and that doesn't include having a dance with you, Mr. Gray. And don't you worry. I'll never touch your record player again."

He grinned. "So, you refuse me? Even though I'm the one who's asking, and I don't see it as the least bit unprofessional?"

"I…I don't think it's appropriate," Mackenzie said firmly, standing up straight and crossing her arms.

"If this is what you want but you're just denying yourself because of impropriety, let me assure you, I have very particular ideas about what's appropriate between us, Ms. Robinson."

She breathed heavily and let herself think. Because he was right, she thought. She did want to dance with him…but if word got out to Angelica…

She weighed the pros and cons for a little bit longer before finally putting her left hand in his.

"Good choice," Dorian told her, pulling her into a close embrace and nibbling on her earlobe as she rested her chin on his shoulder.

They danced closely for about a minute or so before he whispered in her right ear. "You smell lovely," he remarked, then twirled her and pulled her close again.

She bit her bottom lip as she relaxed in his embrace. They fit perfectly. Her heart skipped a beat as she ran her fingers through his hair with her free hand. She knew that she shouldn't be doing this. He was dangerous for her sanity.

"Oh, yes…I hope you're pleased with what I've done in the penthouse so far," she tried to put things on more professional ground, even as she remained in his arms.

"I'm very pleased," he assured her, his arms tightening around her, his right hand settling in the small of her back, then slid it down to cup the curve of her bottom. "But it's even more pleasing to me to hold you right now."

She gasped, her eyes wide with shock as he nibbled on her earlobe and even licked the inside of her ear just a little. "Mr. Gray, please, I…"

"Shush," he whispered, kissing down her neck. "Say my name, Julia…"

"I…I don't…" she stammered nervously and tilted her head back, throwing her arms around his neck. "Dorian…" She whispered breathlessly as he gently bit down on her neck.

Shaken by the sound of her voice as she whispered his name, he raised his eyes to hers. Then he grabbed her chin and kissed her soundly.

She opened her eyes, feeling shocked. This was her first kiss from a man, and it was shaking the ground she stood on. She closed her eyes and opened her mouth a little, letting his tongue in so he could taste her deeper.

Then he lifted her shaking body onto a desk, his hands pushing her skirt up and slide up the inside of her thighs to the hem of her panties, caressing her wet folds through the fabric. "You're extremely sexy, Julia. You've filled my thoughts night after night, day after day. The only thing I could think of locking us in my bedroom and fucking you for hours in my bed."

"Oh, my god!" She panted heavily and rubbed against his hand. "Mr. Gray, this is…"

"Dorian," he corrected and nibbled on her lips. "Dorian, baby."

She continued to breath heavily as he drove her insane with desire, even as she tried to deny it. "Dorian, please, we can't!" She grabbed him and gave him one last long hard kiss before finding the strength to keep him at a distance, jump off the desk, grab her tote bag, and run out of the room.

"Julia!" He ran after her, but she'd already reached the front door, opened it, then slammed it behind her.

"Fuck!" He swore under his breath and ran his fingers though his dark hair. What would he do now?
