In the Special Forces homebase, Raiden had paid a visit there as promised to help heal the wounded soldiers from the invasion located in the base's medbay using his healing powers. Raiden was nearly finished with completely healing the wounded soldiers' already well tended to injuries thanks to the great medical team, were now fully healed and ready to get back to their usual lives. Finally, Raiden approached Jax who was still in one of the medical beds as a result of Erron Black shooting him in the leg and practically crippling him.
"Thank goodness you're here, Raiden," Jax commented as Raiden readied the healing process. "Where would we be without you?"
"The praise is appreciated, Jackson Briggs," Raiden responded as he placed his charged hands onto Jax's leg as the healing process began. "I only hope that Earthrealm is safe for sometime now."
"There's been no invasion like that in history," Jax pointed out. "The chances of another invasion from another realm is slim to none."
"I hope you are right," Raiden said still with some surprising worry and uncertainty in his voice. "How do you feel now?"
Jax began moving his leg freely and then tried standing up on it. Raiden's technique had worked perfectly. Jax felt good as new and ready to get back to his duty as the Special Forces Major.
"I feel great!" Jax answered. "Thanks again, Raiden."
"Your support to these soldiers is much appreciated, Thunder God." Spoke a medic who had been tending to Jax throughout his recovery. "Was not expecting to be speaking to a God… let alone thanking them."
"I know the feeling," Jax related. "This whole sequence of events has been chaotic. Good thing the public don't seem to remember a damn thing about the invasion."
"Something that I need to discover why." Raiden commented.
"Well, seems like I can finally have a break," the medic remarked. "Bye, Jax and Mr. Raiden."
"Wait, Vera!" Jax called for her back before she left. "Thanks for looking after me."
"It's no trouble, Jax," Vera replied with a smile. "Just doing my job."
"I appreciate it." Jax told her.
"Don't forget that you owe me dinner." Vera joked.
"Don't worry, I'll call you later and we'll arrange our date." Jax decided reassuringly.
"Good," Vera said with a smile. "Glad you still want to… I thought I was just being silly by asking you out."
"Of course I want to, Vera," Jax smiled back. "You're great."
"So are you," Vera complimented back while beginning to blush at Jax's kind words. "I'll see you around."
"Have a good day." Jax waved one of his metal arms farewell as Vera headed out the medbay.
"Ah... love," Raiden commented. "Such a beautiful emotion."
"And a good one too." Jax replied. "Have you got a gal I should know about? Or a boy, not judging."
"The only love I have is from the family-like bonds I have created over the many years," Raiden informed him. "A more intimate relationship would distract me from my duties in truth. Nonetheless, I wish you all the best with her."
"Thanks, Raiden."
"I may have restored you to your full health but the effort it took doing so hardly matches the acts of these medics." Raiden analysed.
"I know," Jax spoke while giving a slight nod. "Thanks for coming either way."
"My pleasure," Raiden stated. "I suppose I shall return to my Sky Temple now, to properly rejuvenate my powers."
"Before you do…"
"Yes, Jackson Briggs?"
"I think Sonya wanted to speak with you when you got the chance." Jax informed him.
"Where would I find her?"
"In the interrogation room down the corridor to the left of here." Jax gave the instructions which Raiden memorised with ease as a result of Gods always having photographic memories in their divine genetics.
"Thank you, friend." Raiden gave a gesture of respect before also walking out the medbay and following Jax's directions to Sonya.
Entering the interrogation room, Raiden had interrupted the middle of Sonya making attempts to get the true answer towards the location of the Black Dragon's main hideout, the last location they had received was merely a minor gathering and was certainly not their primary base. No Face had informed Hsu Hao of the location of the treacherous White Dragon clan as an attempted diversion, though the Red Dragon were more than happy to deal with them considering the members amongst the clan still made things personal and such a clan was still a rival to them. Hsu Hao meanwhile had told the Special Forces a different hideout location which he had been informed of by the Red Dragon in a method to deal with two hideouts at once. With No Face not speaking the truth, Sonya now had to test her luck with Kano, much to her dismay.
"I'm tellin ya fuckall!" Kano yelled in a lack of cooperation.
"Ah, Raiden," Sonya turned to see the Thunder God as he entered the room, it was unusual for Sonya to see the Thunder God use the door rather than blasting into the room which created a more than incredible entrance. This was due to not wishing to waste any more energy after healing many soldiers. "I expected to see you at some point. Are the patients alright?"
"They have all been healed, Sonya Blade," Raiden informed her. "I came having heard that you wish to discuss a matter with me… Is this perhaps not an optimal time?"
Sonya glanced at Kano who was staring back with a smug grin on his face. "No, right now is fine," Sonya replied. "Don't you dare interrupt us, jackass."
"Aye aye," Kano responded in what appeared to be compliance. "Even then ya won't do shit either way."
"Be grateful for my leniency, scumbag," Sonya advised him. "I can use more extreme methods if you continue to resist."
"Oh really?" Kano was surprised. "Thought your ethical morals or whatever the fuck ya call it prevented ya from doin somert."
"Torture is a poor technique that yields unreliable results," Sonya educated the mercenary. "In your case however, you may just be an exception."
"Try it, bitch." Kano challenged as he spat right in Sonya's face.
Sonya was becoming more impatient with this behaviour and turned to Raiden after wiping the spit from her face. "Can you give me a hand, Raiden?"
"Of course." Raiden agreed to do so and took matters into his own hands by sending a relatively gentle (for Raiden) blast of lightning which struck the chair bound Kano and sent him toppling backwards.
"Thanks," Sonya was grateful for Raiden shutting Kano up. "Just wanted to let you know that Johnny wished to speak to you."
"Is it urgent?"
"Sounded like it," Sonya assumed so. "He didn't specify any details over the phone but if he wants to speak with you then I'm sure it's important… even if it is Johnny."
"I will visit him now," Raiden informed her. "Though it appears you could still use more support regarding your prisoner."
"Most likely," Sonya admitted. "Willing to tell me an answer Kano? The real answer?"
"Seriously think that the equivalent of an angry power cable is gonna make me talk?" Kano chuckled at Sonya's annoyance and at his own lack of compliance. "You're even worse a torturer than you are an interrogator!"
"Show some respect." Raiden demanded as his hands began charging with lightning once more.
"I've got none for you and certainly nothing for her," Kano was clearly not phased by Raiden and his power. "No respect. No info."
"Do it." Sonya signalled for Raiden to work his lightning once again which the Thunder God gladly complied by sending an even stronger bolt of lightning hurling chest first into Kano which sprung him farther back in the room so far that he crashed into the dull and plain grey wall and even left a crack where his chair bound body met with as he splat against the hard wall and fell with a cry of agony.
"Just you wait…" Kano uttered as he lay on the floor, still somehow bound to the chair that had been thrown around along with him. "Wait til the rest of my boys come back… your bloody security is a pile of shit anyways."
"Other Black Dragon members?" Raiden correctly guessed.
"They've attacked this HQ twice now," Sonya admitted. "But what interests me is that they made no effort to rescue you, Kano."
"Whadiya talkin about?" Kano didn't understand.
"They got No Face and left," Sonya informed him. "They didn't even try getting you."
"They what?!"
"Did I stutter?"
"You're lying!" Kano accused, refusing to believe that he had been abandoned by those he considered his partners in crime once again.
"You're still here, aren't you?" Sonya pointed out rhetorically. "If our security is as bad as you claim then surely they'd have gotten you out in their latest attempt."
"Ever heard of exaggeration, love?"
"That's kind of you," Sonya stated which made Kano raise his lone eyebrow. "Means deep down in your gross heart you have at least some appreciation for our defenses."
"Oi!" Kano yelled. "Don't you mock me!"
"Why not? You've been trying to mock me this entire session." Sonya recalled.
"Exactly!" Kano agreed and took this accusation with sick pride. "That's my thing!"
"Enough now!" Sonya shouted to try to proceed with the interrogation, not wishing to communicate with Kano any longer than she needed to. "I'm here for info, not to banter with a rat."
"Cheers for that." Kano commented in response to Sonya's insult.
"Tell me the location of your main headquarters!" Sonya demanded, becoming more hostile now. "Or I can have Raiden toast you again!"
Kano began laughing as something had crossed his mind. He wasn't afraid of Raiden striking him down once more but figured he should give her an answer before suffering a third blast.
"What's so funny?!"
"Alright, love," Kano sounded as if he was now finally willing to comply with her rules. "Pick me chair up off this fuckin floor and tell the God of Useless to piss off and I'll speak."
"Fine then," Sonya agreed. "Thanks for your help, Raiden. You should probably visit Johnny now."
"I shall, Sonya Blade." Raiden responded as he readied his hand to summon a teleportation bolt of lightning to surround him.
"Tell Johnny I said hi!" Sonya requested as Raiden began being transported to the mansion of Johnny Cage. "Now, Kano, you better tell me some answers."
"Alright!" Kano finally complied and moments later Sonya Blade was exiting the interrogation room ready to act upon this new location she had been informed of.
"Hsu," Sonya found her ally heading down the corridor. "Kano finally spoke. He said the base is in this forest down in Newington."
"N-Newington?" Hsu repeated, stuttering a bit which was very unlike him. This was of course because this was the location No Face had shared with him and he knew the Red Dragon were making their attack very soon so making contact with them at the last minute could prove to be impossible. "I'll come with you."
"Great," Sonya replied. "I'll get us some more heads and we'll go down there."
"I'll leave now," Hsu offered as if he had a head start he would be able to get to Mavado in time, if he was unavailable to be called right now which Hsu assumed he would be. "Scout the area out for you."
"Sounds like a plan." Sonya approved of the idea, she very much appreciated Hsu's strategic intelligence… even if she only knew part of his genius.
Raiden once more found himself knocking on the door at Johnny Cage's mansion in Venice. The actor quickly opened the well furnished door, despite only being dressed in his sky blue bathrobes after having his morning shower.
"Raiden!" Johnny was clearly glad to see the God of Thunder. "Come on in, thunder dude."
"What's the matter, Johnny Cage?" Raiden asked as he accepted Cage's offer to step inside the decorative home.
"Somethings the matter," Cage informed him rather cryptically. "But I'm unsure what."
"What happened?" Raiden asked. "Detail the events that have caused this concern of yours."
"Okay, so me and a buddy were going home from a restaurant and I spotted these two women," Cage began detailing at a rather rapid pace, clearly nervous of what his experience could mean for the future of Earthrealm. "They had a similar mark that Quan Chi has on their costumes, so I followed them…"
"The Brotherhood of Shadow." Raiden quickly figured.
"Sorry?"
"A cult from the Netherrealm that worships their realms ruler." Raiden shared a brief description of the group that he was all too familiar with its history.
"Then shouldn't they be staying in Hell?" Cage queried. "Oh God…"
"Something wrong, Johnny Cage?"
"Just that… that Hell is… well, real!" Cage cried out. "Like what happens when I die now?! Am I just gonna forever be trapped there?! No say in it?!"
"Fear not, Johnny Cage," Raiden tried to ease his worries. "The Netherrealm is only reserved for those truly deserving of an afterlife of torment and suffering. For someone like yourself you will spend a grand afterlife in the Heavens, your placement is especially assured after aiding us in defending Earthrealm."
"If you say so," Cage always believed in Raiden's word because of him being a God after all. "Sorry for that reaction. It's just hard to process these things… poor Mo's going to be shook."
"Mo?"
"Oh, right," Cage realized that he hadn't finished his story yet. "So I was with my friend who we nicknamed Mokap, cuz he's a motion capture guy… he has powers. Telekinesis I think? Saved my life with it. Guess it triggered because of a dire situation, like my glow."
"Seems likely," Raiden agreed. "So by dire position you mean that you confronted the two women?"
Cage nodded. "Well, eavesdropped on them first," he detailed. "Didn't stop them but they were carrying lots of these."
Johnny Cage then presented the small cube shaped device branded with the logo of a red dragon which Raiden took from his hands and observed it carefully. He was unsure what to make of the cube but like how Johnny Cage recognized the mark of the Brotherhood of Shadow, Raiden recognized the dragon symbol on the cube.
"Strange," Raiden commented and sounded rather puzzled. "This is property of the Red Dragon clan. Rivals to the Black Dragon which I'm sure you're familiar with."
"Kano and his chumps," Cage correctly recalled. "Got it."
"But why would a group residing in the Netherrealm have Earthrealm technology belonging to an Earthrealm faction?" Raiden asked himself as he began considering the possibilities "It's possible that they may have stolen these."
"Could it also be possible that there's an alliance?" Cage asked what was surprisingly a well thought out question. It was clear that Cage was no longer one to mess around after realizing the seriousness of these recent events.
"Possible but unlikely," Raiden believed. "A partnership between a cult from the Netherrealm and a crime syndicate on Earthrealm would certainly be quite strange."
"I don't know much about Hell… and I don't really want to know more than the obvious stuff… but surely they don't have technology as good as our world?" Cage guessed though was unsure due to the mystique of the Netherrealm that still frightened the actor.
"Earthrealm is by far the most advanced realm in terms of technology," Raiden confirmed. "Was one of the reasons why it appealed so much to Shao Kahn."
"So what if this ruler of the Netherrealm also sees the same appeal?"
"Valid point," Raiden complimented. "Not even I had considered that."
"Guess I'm not dead weight after all." Cage noted, sounding as if he actually had doubt in himself before which starkly contrasted the actor's usual behaviour.
"You're not," Raiden assured him. "You're a crucial part of our group of defenders. Even more so now that you've brought this to my attention."
"I just don't want another invasion."
"I know," Raiden replied in understanding. "I know."
"Mokap's head must be spinning right now," Cage thought aloud. "I don't wanna trouble you anymore than I already have, Raiden, but could you give him the talk about all this… stuff? Like how you did it for me?"
"I can," Raiden confirmed. "I'll do it now. Where would he be? I need to know where I shall teleport."
"Oh, right," Cage realized. "He lives at-"
As Johnny Cage went to share his friend's address with the Thunder God, Raiden let out a groan of pain as he attempted to prepare his teleporting ability. His energy had been taken up at last, he would need to return to a chamber in his temple in order to rejuvenate his divine powers.
"You alright?" Cage was concerned as he could never recall seeing Raiden express pain.
"I am fine, Johnny Cage," Raiden said reassuringly. "It's just my powers are drained."
"Well what can I do?"
"It's no matter," Raiden informed him. "I have a temple that will restore me, I can always return to it no matter what little energy I have left as a magic lightning rod of mine conducts it."
"Well… that's good," Cage commented, not even surprised by learning of more magic. "You should probably go there then."
"I am perfectly healthy, just my magic is drained," Raiden clarified. "I can still visit your friend."
"If you say so," Cage replied. "Let me drive you there."
"Thank you for the offer." Raiden said gratefully.
"I just need to put something on," Cage realized, only processing his poor attire in the presence of Raiden now. "Have a seat if you want to."
"Thank you but standing is my preference." Raiden informed him, he was never a fan of being idle so sitting down didn't come across as a luxury for him. Luxuries weren't a thing that Gods like Raiden needed to indulge in anyway.
"Oookay." Was Cage's response as he headed to his bedroom where his neatly organized wardrobe of expensive garms lived. Once ready he and Raiden quickly made their way to Cage's car where Johnny drove the two to Mokap's home only a few miles away from Johnny's own opulent mansion.
After about a fifteen minute car journey, Cage and Raiden had finally arrived at Mokap's home with Cage parking his car in front of the welcoming home belonging to Mokap. The front garden was sizable and well kept, practically in perfect condition thanks to Mokap's consistent fostering of the beautiful sight of nature.
"Was that your first time in a car?" Cage felt inclined to ask, finding it both unusual and humorous to see the Thunder God stepping out of the car so casually. "I assume someone like you doesn't need transportation like this too often."
"You'd be correct in that assumption," Raiden confirmed as he gently shut the car door and joined Johnny around the other side of the Mercedes. "Indeed it was my first time. My powers of course usually mean I do not need to rely on such manmade methods of transportation. Today is an exception, however."
"Well c'mon," Cage gestured for Raiden to follow him down to the front door to Mokap's home. "Mo will be very kind to you. It's just a matter of making him understand all of… this."
"There are things in this universe that not even I can explain," Raiden informed Johnny which surprised him considering who the words were coming from. "The truth about magic and its many variants and forms has slipped past the awareness of Earthrealmers. Perhaps it is fate in order to balance this realm's knowledge of technology which is unmatched to the other realms."
"It is one big mind-fuck," Cage admitted. "Do you understand our technology?"
Raiden smirked. "Honestly, not really."
"I'll show you how a computer works someday, gramps." Cage joked as the two walked down the stone pathway around Mokap's garden that led to his porch where a homely and inviting welcome mat rested.
"I'd appreciate your teachings, Johnny Cage, but understanding the functions of what to me are useless devices is unnecessary."
"Got it," Cage was rather amused again by Raiden's serious personality, giving a very modest and genuine reply to what was more of just a joking offer. "Offers still on the table though."
Cage rang the doorbell to Mokap's home, nudging Raiden to show him pressing it to inform the God what the button did. Johnny's own home did indeed also have a doorbell but Raiden either didn't see it or he had no clue what a doorbell was. The latter being the likely explanation, hence Cage's demonstration. At least Raiden understood civilization far more than the Elder Gods who struggled to even understand how mortals behaved, let alone what a doorbell is.
The door was soon opened by a tired looking Mokap who was carrying a mug half full with coffee. "Why are you here at this time in the morning?" Mokap asked before taking a sip from his drink, soon stopping as he realized that Cage wasn't alone. Raiden in truth stood at an impressive seven feet so that paired with his attire certainly made the Thunder God stand out.
"Look, Mo…" Cage went to explain but was interrupted by a sigh from Mokap.
"Is he one of your actor buddies and what is it you're shooting now?" Mokap asked, immediately assuming that Cage was already in the works of another movie. "We just finished shooting the latest Ninja Mime no less than three months ago!"
"There's nothing in the works... yet," Cage informed him. "This is Raiden, he's the Protector God of Earth."
"You're just messing with me now." Mokap believed at first.
"Seriously?" Cage was expecting Mokap to believe him now that he was also aware that magic was real. "After everything we went through the other day you don't buy this?"
"Magic energy is one thing. Gods are another." Mokap explained his mindset. "Look, Cage, I'd rather just move on from whatever that whole thing was and just move on with my life. Just stop messing with me will ya?"
"I'm not!" Cage argued. "Raiden, show him your magic."
"My lightning isn't charged." Raiden reminded him.
"Oh."
"So find him a charger." Mokap joked, no longer convinced that this was true due to Raiden's excuse.
"I wouldn't mess with you after what you saw," Cage assured him. "I promise."
"I…" Mokap's response was suddenly interrupted by a glowing flash of light that appeared from behind Raiden and Cage in the doorway.
Johnny spun his head around to see what was happening before having to look away and cover his eyes from the light right by him that was blindingly bright.
"Is that your doing?" Cage pointed to the light that was forming behind Mokap.
"N-no," Mokap sounded unsure. "I don't think so…"
"It is not the doing of this mortal here." Clarified a voice that came from the light.
"Um…" Cage didn't know how to respond. "Hello?"
Mokap couldn't even muster any words to this sight, his jaw dropping as did his mug out of his hands and onto the carpet where coffee spilled out and stained the carpet. The stain was the least of Mokap's concerns currently though.
"Fear not," the voice reassured them. "It is I. The Elder God Zeus!"
"I suspected so," Raiden remarked as the light faded and a hologram-like projection of the Elder Gods' appearance could now be seen. "What calls for your presence, father?"
"Wait what?!" Cage was not expecting this. "You have a dad?"
"To some extent," Raiden partially confirmed. "Though perhaps the term 'creator' is more suitable for Elder Gods do not share the same reproduction process as others do, they simply create a God and deem them their son or daughter. Also, I don't believe that we are close enough to be using such terminology."
"Oh, c'mon now," Zeus disagreed. "You are my son. Not some mere creation."
"You say that but none of you Elders are capable of acting humane." Raiden argued.
"Why so bitter, my son?" Zeus asked. "Is it still over our reaction to the Earthrealm invasion?"
"You had no reaction." Raiden stated with emphasis on the 'no' part.
"Now that's not true!" Zeus denied such claims. "Have you not realized how the damage caused by the invasion was reversed?"
"Feel free to enlighten me." Raiden permitted.
"I'd be delighted to do so!" Zeus enthusiastically accepted the offer. "So, as the Soulnado was being diminished after your splendid work with handling that violent creation, we were able to take its energy and alter its properties in order to revert the events that had occurred over the time period covering the invasion so that all the damage caused by Shao Kahn would be resolved."
"And you needed to wait for this energy, why?" Raiden was still bitter with the Elder Gods despite this explanation.
"If we casted our own powers upon your realm then our energy could disturb the slumber of that wretched One Being," Zeus detailed, his voice quieting as he spoke the beings name. "The Soulnado covered your entire planet called Earth so by altering its properties as it was sent back to the cemetery it had been summoned from, we were able to act on the fact that the energy coated the entire planet and thus all of Shao Kahn's damages to it."
"I don't require a lecture on the ways of a Soulnado," Raiden remarked before giving his own description of how it works to prove such. "A sorcerer will cast a spell in preferably the location of a cemetery for they can callback the souls of the deceased to the remnants of their corpses and use it to begin the Soulnado, it then grows with the more souls it is fed."
"That is correct," Zeus confirmed. "But in addition to our involvement, we altered the minds of all who didn't need to know of this whole invasion thing. Certain exceptions we made sure to remove memory of the Soulnado after considering that 'trauma' thing you mortals apparently suffer from which could be caused from the event, though they would still remember the invasion itself. Others, mainly non protectors, perceive the days the invasion carried over as their normal routine and none will question a thing. Your friend here is proof of this."
"Th-this is a lot to take in…" Mokap finally spoke up, stuttering as he did, not entirely sure how to react.
"It's overwhelming even for me, Mo," Cage said in an attempt to relate to his clearly baffled and shocked friend. "Don't worry though, you'll get used to it."
"I don't wanna get used to this!" Mokap yelled anxiously.
"Calm yourself, man," Cage instructed. "It's gonna be fine once you understand everything."
"The Gods in Greek mythology are real!" Mokap was doing the opposite of what Cage had instructed. "How can I just calm down from learning this?!"
"Greek mythology?" Zeus repeated. "Oh Heavens no, boy, us Elder Gods are nothing alike to those stupidious myths. They did come up with a God with an alarmingly striking resemblance of me, however. But no, I am not the Zeus you're thinking of nor are the other myths true… all but one."
"What?"
"Do not fret, boy," Zeus tried to calm down the clearly overwhelmed and frightened Mokap. "These matters should not be of concern to yourself. But so long as you won't tell anybody about us then you can know since you're present at this time."
"Wh-what happens if I do?" Mokap asked bravely.
"Your fate if you spread word of my existence will be one of such great pain and suffering that not even I, a God, can properly articulate the torture you would undergo." Zeus' voice now sounded threatening as he heeded this warning which only frightened Mokap more who shrieked after hearing this.
"Stop scaring him!" Raiden ordered.
"You do not tell me what I can or cannot do!" Zeus responded, feeling disrespected by the order.
"Why are you here anyway?" Raiden asked in an attempt to move past a brewing argument, to which Zeus who pointed at Johnny Cage.
"To reward this young warrior here!" He replied enthusiastically, in full support of Cage. "For protecting Earthrealm and helping keep the balance."
"Reward?" Johnny was not anticipating something such as this.
"For you!" Zeus confirmed as he summoned an ancient scroll into the hands of the actor.
"This is… about my powers?" Cage surmised after a brief glance over the scrolls content.
"Written long ago by the earliest of Earthrealmers to discover the existence of Gods," Zeus educated the actor on the unknown history of this power. "We had blessed them with the power we had given the honour of being known as the Green Armour of the Gods as thanks for their prayers and worship."
"And over all these generations I've somehow inherited it from one of them?" Cage concluded.
"Indeed," Zeus confirmed. "After some research I discovered that you inherited it from your father's side of the family. The ancestor that we had gifted the Green Armour to had passed this down from generation to generation but none were able to unlock its power… until now."
"Well that's fucking awesome!" Cage yelled as he made his fists glow the Green Armour. "So, what's the scroll actually for?"
"Information on how to master your abilities," Zeus informed him. "You're welcome."
"Thank you." Cage said as he carefully folded up the old scroll and put it safely into his jacket's pocket.
"Is that all you came for, father?" Raiden questioned.
"Quite," he confirmed, his hologram-like reflection already starting to fade. "Oh! And fret not, Mr. Cage, your spot in the Heavens is assured! Farewell!"
Johnny was the only one to wave the Elder God farewell, Mokap was too stunned to do so and Raiden was still bitter about the Elder Gods and their lack of involvement in aiding the realms though he was pleased to know that at least some small effort was being done.
"S-so, um…" Mokap was still wrapping his head around that entire interaction, his heart racing even after Zeus had left. "You had some things you wanted to explain to me?"
"Yes, we did," Cage nodded. "Can we come inside?"
"Y-yeah, sure," Mokap stepped aside to allow them entry. "Let's get this over with…"
