Probably been moved on from every place
Kagome fell asleep and Kaede came back. Sesshomaru watched the flames, his eyes glancing at Kagome ever so often.
"What will ya do young Lord?"
Could he even be called a Lord anymore? He wasn't sure what his next move was. Everything was different in this human state.
"Might I make a suggestion?"
He glanced at the old woman,
"Perhaps find this woman who did this and-
"Kill her?"
"No," She snapped, "And beg-
"I do not beg woman,"
She sighed, that wasn't the right word and she knew even as a human he was not a begging man, "And ask,"
Ask?
"You should probably take Kagome with you,"
"Why would I do that?"
"It would probably help for her to see that you do have a friend,"
Sesshomaru looked at Kagome again. Was she his friend?
Kaede looked at her. Kagome looked tired and she was. "She has been locked away from her home,"
The fire cracked, "She won't admit but she does not want to be here,"
"Why not go with the Monk and Slayer,"
"She had done that as well, they wish to start a family," She looked at him "Just as you are confused about what is next so is she, she needs to find a place," As did he. "It will be good for her,"
"Is she no longer my brother's love?"
Kaede snorted "She was never your brother's lover,"
Sesshomaru sniffed, forgetting he could no longer do what.
"What else do you have to lose?" She asked,
Him, nothing but just because he was human did not mean he couldn't kill something.
Yet he knew deep down he would never kill her and though he would not admit it, he would need her help.
"Hn," He agreed, but would she?
