Hello everyone how's it going for you today?
in case you're wondering why this chapter is a bit late, well one of the fanfic sites I usually upload my chapters was down for a couple of weeks and now it's back up.
Now then it's time for Cat Noir to meet up with Max and Markov also I might throw in a bit of a love square fluff in this chapter or not so it depends.
But without further delay let's get this train a rolling.
Here we go.
I don't own any of this except the OC's.
Chapter 4: a meeting and forming a secret network.
The next day came and Adrien and Plagg got up and went about their day and Adrien packed some cheese for Plagg.
After breakfast, Natalie told Adrien that there's no photo shoot or Chinese lessons as Vincent the photographer and his tutor were out sick for the week, so he has fencing and that's it.
Adrien thanked her and then he was taken to school.
When he arrived he sat at his desk and kept wondering what's going to happen next.
Just then Marinette came in and took her seat.
Adrien couldn't help but let his heart beat a little faster when he saw Marinette, his cheeks turn slowly red as he imagine his Lady there sitting.
'I can't believe that's milady sitting in class with me.' He thought.
He decided to go say hello to her.
"Hey Marinette." He said.
"GAH!" she said. feeling surprised and nervous of being near her crush and she fell out of her chair.
"Are you ok?" he asked as he went over to help her up.
"I-I-I-I'm fine." She said.
As he helped her up, Marinette's heart was beating very fast and she looked into his green eyes and blushed.
"Well I'm glad you're ok Marinette." He said.
That made Marinette smiled a little.
Then he pulled her into a hug.
That surprised Marinette in her mind she was freaking out that Adrien was hugging her but in her heart she was very happy and she returned the gesture.
Both of their hearts were beating fast and in sync. Plagg and Tikki watch from their hiding spots.
Tikki was happy for them, but Plagg pretending not to care, but he was happy for them as well, not that he would admit it.
'OMG! OMG!' she said in her mind. 'Adrien's hugging me.'
Adrien felt happy and at peace with Marinette in his arms and didn't want it to end.
But he had to as they heard footsteps coming towards the door.
They let go at once and looked away as their faces were blushing and quickly went back to their seats.
'that was close.' They thought.
Soon everyone else came in and took their seats and class began.
After class came lunch and Adrien was still thinking about the hug he gave Marinette and his heart beat a little fast.
"Geez kid, why not just go and kiss her already?" Plagg whined.
"You know why I can't yet Plagg." Adrien hissed. "No matter how much I want to, I have to wait."
"When will you make the move?" Plagg complained.
"What's wrong Plagg? Eager to get back with Tikki?" Adrien teased.
Plagg's face went bright red. "S-s-s-s-shut up! I don't like Sugar cube like that." He sputtered.
"I think you do Plagg but you don't want to admit it." Adrien said with a smirk.
"Shut up or I'll cataclysm your house!" Plagg yelled.
"Ok, ok calm down Plagg, man you don't like being tease about you liking Tikki." Said Adrien.
"HMPH!" grunted Plagg.
After lunch and School, Adrien did his fencing practice and when he was done, he headed home.
When he looked at the time it was 3:00.
"I gotta go meet Max and give him the phone." He said.
Plagg just finished eating his cheese.
"Let's go buddy. Plagg claws out!" he said.
He then changed into Cat Noir and leaped out of the window and headed for the tower.
It took him a good 20 minutes to get to the Eiffel Tower and arrived and he waited.
Soon Max and Markov arrived.
"Greetings Cat Noir." Said Markov.
"We got your message, so what is going on?" asked Max.
Lucky for them the tower was empty.
"Ok Max I want you to listen carefully." Said Cat Noir.
Max nodded.
"You know one of your classmates Lila Rossi?" he began.
"Yes I do why?" Max asked.
"Well you know all those things she said she did and the people she met? Well she's a full blown grade A Liar." Said Cat Noir.
Max gave him a skeptical look.
"Why would you say that?" said Max. "Lila did a lot of good."
"Well then do you recall Lila saying that Ladybug saved her and there was a interview?" Cat Noir says.
"Yea I do." Replied Max.
"Well if it did happen check the Ladyblog." Said Cat Noir.
"Ok then Markov look for that video." Said Max.
"On it." Said Markov.
Markov access the website and looked for the video and was surprised when he was done.
"Whoa that's interesting." Said Markov.
"What is it?" asked Max.
"I looked for the video and it's not there." He said.
"That's because it didn't happened." Said Cat Noir. "If it did it would been uploaded to the site by Alya."
Max and Markov's eyes widen in shock.
"So it's true Ladybug didn't have that interview with Lila 2 years ago." Said Max.
Now he and Markov were feeling a bit of shame.
"Why did we fall for Lila's tall tales like that?" he said.
Cat Noir's expression soften.
"Max, Markov look sometimes when people do that, it's either to get attention or make them more interesting. But sometimes they do that with selfish intentions and dark desires." Said Cat Noir.
"God I've must've been a complete idiot." Max cursed.
"Don't worry Max we can stop her before she does any more damage. Will you and Markov help me?" Cat noir asked extending his hand.
Max accepted the hand shake.
"Yes I want to make it right with Marinette and stop Lila for good." He said.
"So do I." said Markov placing his robot hand on top of theirs.
"Welcome aboard you 2 and now I present you this." Said Cat Noir.
Cat Noir then gave Max the phone he got from Shades.
"That phone in untraceable so you can use it to contact me and vice versa and you can hook it up with Markov." He said.
"Excellent Cat Noir but I will need a code name and Pegasus is my hero name and that won't do good." Said Max.
"True. What about Matrix?" suggested Cat Noir.
"That's a good idea Cat Noir." Said Max.
"Very well Matrix." Said Cat Noir.
"But Cat I was wondering if you see Ladybug can you ask her to give you the horse Miraculous?" Max asked.
"Sure why?" he asked.
"Well if I need to see you at once and can't use the phone." He said.
"Good point I'll ask her next time. But I think we better go I'll contact you later." Said Cat Noir.
"Understood Cat Noir and I promise I'll won't let you down." Said Max.
"Neither will I." replied Markov.
"Thanks guys and remember not a word of this to anyone especially Ladybug." He said.
They nodded and left.
Cat Noir also left as well.
Later that evening…
Cat Noir did his patrol solo and was got done quickly.
"Well that's done now what?" he said.
He thought it over and decided to check on one person.
"Well I guess I'll go visit my Purrincess." He said.
He then went to go see Marinette.
Marinette was busy doing some designs for some clothing for some of her friends, Tikki and the other Kwami's helped out as well.
On the way to see her, Adrien thought of getting her two roses one from him and one from Cat Noir, so he got the red and blue roses and addressed them to Marinette.
He continued his way and soon he landed on the rooftop of her home.
Just then Tikki heard something and went to check the roof and phased half of her head to see Cat Noir and went back to Marinette.
"Uh Marinette. Cat Noir is here!" she said.
Marinette freaked out a bit and told the Kwami's to go hide as she got everything straighten out, before opening the sky hatch.
"Cat Noir what are you doing here?" she asked.
Cat Noir turned to see his favorite person.
"Hello there Princess." He said with a smirk.
Marinette chuckled and blush a little at the nickname Cat Noir gave her.
"Well I did a bit patrolling and well since I got done a bit early I thought I drop by and visit you." He said.
"Patrol what about Ladybug?" she asked.
"She didn't show tonight." He said with a sigh.
'oh man I forgot it was patrol tonight.' She thought.
"Oh I brought you these." He said bringing out the 2 roses.
"The red one is from Adrien and the blue one is from me." He said.
Marinette was surprised and blushed from the gifts, especially the rose from Adrien, she takes it as a sign that maybe he likes her.
'if she only knew.' He thought.
"Cat these are beautiful and Adrien got me one as well?" she said.
"Well he thought that you deserve something and well you didn't hear this from me but, you do have a place in his heart and he wishes he can talk you to more, but he thinks you are afraid of him." Said Cat Noir.
Adrien knew he was referring to himself but it was kind of true.
Marinette thought for a moment, it was true, every time Adrien tried to talk to her, she gets so nervous and timid and freaks out and Alya and Nino have to step in to help out.
"Well there's a reason why Cat, but if I told you, you promise not to tell anyone?" she said.
"Of course Princess." He said.
"Well it's because I'm in love with Adrien." She said.
That felt like an arrow shot through the heart as Cat Noir's cheeks turned bright red.
'So she's in love with me.' He thought.
His heart beat fast when she said that.
Then she went to hug Cat Noir who was surprised by that, but he returned the gesture.
"Please don't tell him." She said.
"I promise Princess." He said to her.
She then let him go.
"Well it's getting late, so I better go back in and you head home." She said.
"Ok princess, go get some sleep." Said Cat Noir.
"But before I go."
He then ran over and placed a kiss on her cheek.
"Sweet dreams princess." He said with a smile as he hopped away.
Marinette placed her hand on her cheek from Cat Noir's kiss and blushed.
"Silly Kitty." She said smiling as she went back in her room.
Soon Cat Noir came home and changed back to Adrien who felt very happy.
"Ugh." Groaned Plagg.
"Oh come on Plagg, you know I had to see my princess." Said Adrien.
"Ugh this lovey dovey stuff makes me sick." He complained.
"Oh come now Plagg I know how much you love Tikki." Adrien teased.
"You say one more word of that and I'll swear I'll cataclysm your room!" hissed Plagg.
"So you admit it Plagg?" said Adrien.
"YES, I LOVE SUGARCUBE OK?!" he shouted.
"Jeez calm down buddy." Said Adrien.
Plagg looked away with a grunt.
"Well I got some cheese." Said Adrien.
Plagg turned around and ate it.
"Ok I forgive you." He said while eating.
Soon they went to bed.
Meanwhile…
Shades was on one of the buildings thinking about something.
"So the first move has been played. Now for the 2nd move." He said.
He then spin into a twister and vanished into the night.

Sorry for the delay, but the stress of one's favorite fanfic sites going offline for a couple of days can make it hard to focus and write.
Now then for the next chapter will have some surprises.
But it will have a bit of LB and CN talking and also getting the horse Miraculous.
So yeah Max's new codename Matrix well I thought it would fit him since he has the whole sci-fi vibe and also the way he turns into Pegasus is cool.
Also there will be another person that will join the secret group but you have to guess who is next.
Also I hope you enjoy the teasing of Plagg's crush on Tikki.
Now around ch6 I will reveal maybe a clue to is guess who Shades is.
Once this chapter is uploaded I'm off to work on a new Miraculous story and heads up it will be very dark toned but it will be only on Ao3.
