Hello everyone how's it going today?
I know it's been a while since I last updated the story.
Well it's because I've been busy with my other stories.
So updates will be very slow.
Now this chapter will be a little different.
As did I say in the last chapter, I will reveal one thing about Shades at the end of the chapter.
Ok with that said and done let's get going.
Here we go.
Chapter 6: new member and tailing a sneaky fox
"Ok Cat Noir so what is this about?" asked Luka.
Cat Noir told Luka what was going on with Marinette and what has Lila done to her and her friends and it's been happening for 2 years and well that made Luka very angry, but he simmer down enough to not draw Akuma's to him, but he was still pissed.
Cat Noir continued explaining that he decided to do something about Lila and her lies and so he was going to gather evidence on her and then show everyone of what Lila really is.
He kept the parts of Shades to himself because he needs to ask him about Viperion and Pegasus meeting him.
"So Luka I need your help and Pegasus is on board, what do you say would you like to help me put an end to Lila's lies for good?" Cat Noir asked.
"Of course Cat Noir, anything to help you, Marinette, Adrien and Ladybug." He said.
Cat Noir is glad that Luka is on his side, so now it's time for the next part and brought out the box.
"Luka Couffaine here is the Miraculous of the snake which grants you the power of 2nd chance, you will use for the greater good of the mission." Cat Noir said handing the box to him.
Luka open the box and saw the bracelet and it glowed a light sea green and out came Sass.
"Greetings Luka." Said Sass.
"Hello there Sass good to see you again." Greeted Luka.
"Now you have to keep this on the DL, Luka but once the mission is done you will return the Miraculous back to me and I give it back to Ladybug." Said Cat Noir.
"I understand Cat Noir you can count on me." Said Luka.
"Thank you Luka, now I better get going, but we do need to meet up with Pegasus to come up with a plan. See you later." Said Cat Noir.
"Bye Cat Noir and be careful." Luka said.
Cat Noir then extend his baton and vaulted away and ran on the rooftops until he got back home and changed back.
"Ok we got Luka on board." Said Adrien.
Both Plagg and Fluff popped up and floated around Adrien.
"That's good kid, but what do we do next?" asked Plagg.
"Yeah what's our next move?" added Fluff.
"Well the next move is to tail Lila but I want to ask Shades though." He said.
"Ask and you'll shall receive."
Suddenly a vortex appeared and when it vanished Shades appeared.
"I take it you wanted to ask me something." Said Shades.
"Yes I do Shades I wanted to ask you about letting Viperion and Pegasus know about you?" he asked.
"Hmm, I take it you kept my name out the talks out of respect." Shades guessed.
Adrien nodded as his response.
"I understand Adrien, but if you want to, it's alright I am impressed that you wanted to ask me it was ok to let them know about me and that was a good move. So the next time you meet up with them, I'll join you." Said Shades.
"Ok then." Said Adrien.
"Now then I must be going then." He said.
"Wait Shades I was wondering how can I contact you if you're not around?" Adrien asked.
"Yeah I mean you can't always pop up at random all the time." Added Plagg.
"Fair point." Said Shades.
He pull out his phone and he and Adrien traded numbers and then Shades used his powers and transfer it to his cane and lightly tapped the ring.
"There now you can contact me while as Adrien or Cat Noir." He said.
"Ok then and to help out I'll tail Lila first tomorrow to see what she is doing and gather evidence on her." He offered.
"Ok then thanks Shades." Said Adrien.
"See you later." Shades said as he swirled into a vortex and vanished and Adrien. Plagg and Fluff went to sleep.
The next day Shades was in disguise and decided to tail Lila around the city.
He was being very careful to not being spotted and also not to stand out too much.
Lila was walking around the city doing her thing, now knowing she had a tail on her, but she can be crafty.
Shades was wise to be careful with dealing with people like her.
He kept his distance but still followed her, he saw her going into some stories buying some things and then headed to a café to stop and rest for a bit, he got to a seat and order some tea as he sat behind her but brought a newspaper to blend in a bit more.
He watched Lila using her phone to send text messages to someone and then she placed it on the table as she went to the bathroom for a few minutes and Shades took his chance after his drink arrived.
After he picked up her phone, he then decided to use a bit of his powers to freeze time for about 15 minutes.
He looked around to see everything was frozen still and no one was moving.
'Ok time to work quickly.' He thought.
He quickly took apart Lila's phone and then placed a tracker into it and then put it back together as if nothing ever happened to it.
"Ok that is done, now to resume time as soon I get back to my seat." He said.
Once he sat back down he snapped his fingers and time resumed.
'Ok that went well, but still need to be careful when doing that.' He thought to himself.
Just then Lila came back out and she paid for her meal, got her phone and left and Shades resume tailing her.
Shades kept on her until she went back home and he decided to return his hideout.
'She's up to something I know it.' He thought.
Luckily now that her phone is bugged and has a tracker they can keep tabs on her.
He then contacted Adrien later that night.
"Well Adrien I managed to put a tracker in Lila's phone." Shades told him.
"That's good now we can monitor her movements and we follow where she goes." Said Adrien.
"Yes but I have a sneaky feeling that she's up to something and it might involved the girl you love." Shades told him.
"Marinette." Whispered Adrien.
"Yes I'm afraid she's got something really bad planned for Marinette and we need to put a stop to her and soon." Shades added.
"But how as good as a liar Lila is, she's got most of my friends on her side." Adrien said.
"True, but we got Max, Markov and Luka along with Kaalki, Sass, Fluff and Plagg and I." said Shades.
Adrien chuckled a little. "Yeah we do so who's the next one to tail Lila?"
"Well good question, maybe Viperion, he can do that and well Lila hasn't seen him much and that can be helpful and with second chance he can manage well." Shades said.
"Good idea and when he's done I'll go next but at night, since cats are more active at night." Adrien offered.
"Ok then Adrien but remember you can't let Ladybug know what's going on or Hawkmoth will get wise about it and warn Lila." Shades warned.
"I know and that will suck big time." Groaned Adrien.
"Yes it would and as much I don't like mushy stuff I do want my holder to be happy." Said Plagg.
"Aww you care Plagg, I bet Tikki would be happy to know that." Fluff teased.
Plagg then blushed "S-s-s-s-s-shut up!" he stammered.
Adrien chuckled and so did Shades, it was nice to see Plagg care something other than cheese.
"Ok that's enough teasing the Kwami of destruction I bet Tikki does that already." Shades laughed.
"HEY!" shouted Plagg in annoyance.
"Alright well we better get some rest, talk to you later Shades." Said Adrien.
"Same to you good night." Shades said and hung up.
As he put his phone and plugged it to the charger, he snapped his fingers and his cloak and things vanished was in his regular clothes but he was still in the shadows the only things that were visible were his hair was long just between the shoulder blades and it was dark red with some blue and green mixed in at the ends.
"I know this." He sighed as he sat down in a chair. "Lila is up to something bad and we need to stop her and soon otherwise there will be more chaos than the heroes can handle."
Meanwhile…
Lila was going over some plans she has been cooking up in order to ruin Marinette's life and have Adrien to herself as usual and was getting ready to set it in motion.
"Soon you'll regret not joining me when you had the chance to Marinette and Adrien will be all mine." She said with an evil smirk.
As Lila began to put her next plan in motion, sooner or later she'll get what's to coming to her.
'soon Lila will be exposed to all the lies she had made one way or another.'

Ok that ends this chapter.
Sorry about the wait.
So this chapter is done.
So Shades was able to put a tracker in Lila's phone and he used a time stopping power to do it, but he can't use too much as it puts a strain on him, if he does it in small amounts like 5 to 10 minutes, he'll be ok, but if he does in large amounts for 15 minutes or more it puts a strain on him and needs time to rest and recharge before he can do that again especially for freezing time for an hour or more. But if he ends it a bit early then the strain won't be much of a issue.
There are other powers that Shades has and will be explored and explained as the story series continues.
Now in the next chapter it's Viperion' turn to tail Lila and I do know that Snakes can be sneaky when on the move or hunting.
Then in ch8 it will be Cat Noir's turn to tail Lila but it will be at night, since cats tend to be more active at night.
Then in ch9 it's Pegasus' turn and Markov will help as well.
Then in ch10 it will be Shades' turn again and then he'll meet Viperion and Pegasus.
And then in ch12 they will begin to plan to expose Lila and her lies in front of everyone and it will be quite a show.
Now I am going to say this, if I am really honest this story will have about maybe, give or take 16 chapters.
I'm not making any assumptions that it will have that many chapters but that is a guess.
Now vol 2 of this series will be in the works soon and I will say this things will get a bit tougher and also a bit more dark toned.
Now before I end this chapter, I got one question I want to ask.
If someone did a Miraculous/ NCIS crossover story, some stories with the Miraculous and some stories without them which team would you put Marinette and Adrien and their friends in, D.C, LA, New Orleans, Hawaii or Sydney?
Just a question and you don't have to answer if you don't want to.
Now then since this chapter is done I need to get back to the one I am currently working on.
But before I end this chapter I do have one question if Ladybug did combine with Trixx what would her combo name be? Lady Rogue, lady Fox or something else.
Ok that is it for now I am off to get some rest and then work on the other chapter.
