Set not long after the Vytal festival, the events will intertwine with the chaos leading to Beacon's downfall, with a significant undisclosed plot twist awaiting revelation. ON THE STREETS OF VALE
In the city of Vale, a man in his early twenties, standing approximately six feet tall, was observed. He possessed striking features, with black hair and silver earrings adorning his ears. His attire consisted of a dark blue long sleeve shirt paired with an unbuttoned brown sleeveless jacket, complemented by dark blue fingerless gloves, brown pants, and dark blue boots. As he strolled past illuminated shops on the night lit streets, a peculiar phenomenon unfolded. Each billboard or signboard he passed experienced a temporary malfunction of their neon lights, only to resume normal operation once he had moved beyond them. This occurrence, though unusual, did not deter the man from his path, continuing his journey with an air of mystery surrounding him.
The unidentified individual confidently proceeded into the building and purposefully made his way to the basement level. "It is truly remarkable how you stay one step ahead of the law", another unidentified man made a statement before the man, and Felix responded promptly."Staying in the dark is my specialty," Felix answered confidently. " I hope you didn't attract any unwanted suspicion?" , the unknown man asked. . "Stop panicking. Every search for me has gone cold. Plus I thought you were dead ?", "Let's say staying alive is my specialty", the unknown man said making Felix to scoff.
So where is what I came here for ?",Felix asked. " It's right here, you can use it to hack into any thing. Even to the Communications Tower or even Amity Colosseum". The unknown man handed him a small black metal device, claiming it could be used for hacking into secure locations like the Communications Tower or Amity Colosseum. "You really have outdone yourself with this revenge plan of yours" , Felix said before collecting it but as he was about to leave the unknown man said "It's only just the beginning. There are many more to come.". " It's the dawn of darkness and he wouldn't see it coming ", Felix's departure from the area was preceded by his statement, which left a lingering impact.
IN A WAREHOUSE
Alice and Davi engaged in combat with White Fang members who were attempting to steal dust from a warehouse. In the heat of the confrontation, Davi utilized his weapon, Imperial, to confront the assailants. With precision and agility, he swiftly closed the distance towards one of the intruders, executing a series of slashes with Imperial before delivering a forceful kick to the individual's abdomen. The impact of the blow propelled the White Fang member across the room, rendering them unconscious upon collision with a nearby wall.
Davi engaged in combat with four White Fang members, executing a series of kicks that proved ineffective. Subsequently, he resorted to employing his Imperial weapon, successfully incapacitating all adversaries.
Notably, Davi delivered a decisive blow to one individual, rendering him unconscious. Following this encounter, Davi prominently displayed Imperial around his neck, showcasing his prowess and dominance in the confrontation. "Ready to give up, cuz I don't think you stand a chance". "Why don't you consider giving up pipsqueak", one of the white fang members said. "Cuz I know I have a chance", Davi said making the white fang member to groan angrily. "That's just the way it is", Davi swiftly executed a series of precise slashes, effortlessly neutralizing all adversaries upon adopting his combat stance.
With remarkable efficiency, he disarmed and subdued each opponent, culminating in the removal of the Imperial insignia from behind his neck. This display of skill and speed exemplifies the pinnacle of combat prowess and strategic mastery.
Alice effectively utilized Accel to engage in combat against White Fang members. She initiated the confrontation by shooting a White Fang member in the chest, resulting in a significant impact that propelled him several feet away. Subsequently, she skillfully transitioned to Accel's pistol mode, employing it to swiftly incapacitate additional White Fang members. To conclude the altercation, Alice decisively administered multiple forceful kicks to the head of the final adversary, effectively neutralizing the threat.
"Seems that was the last one" Alice said before they both fist bumped. "Should we tell General Ironwood, about this" Alice asked. "Nah I'm pretty sure we can handle the White Fang" Davi answered. "I can't help but agree" Alice said before they both left.
In the darkness in an alley close to the warehouse Felix was watching Davi and Alice fight the White Fang. "Ironwood id taking the Vytal Festival seriously. I'll have to bring my a game".
JUNIOR'S BAR
Felix, previously spotted in an alley, has now been sighted at Junior's Bar. As he reminisced about past experiences, a group of Junior's henchmen entered the establishment, easily recognizable by their distinctive black tuxedos and red ties.
Junior Xiong, the proprietor of the establishment, stood at the helm of his henchmen as they swiftly carried out his commands. The unmistakable insignia of the bar, bearing his name, left no doubt as to his authority. "Don't delay any longer, gentlemen, proceed with the attack immediately!" he commanded with unwavering determination. In response, the entire cohort of henchmen swiftly advanced towards Felix, demonstrating a synchronized and forceful assault that showcased their loyalty under Junior Xiong's expert leadership.
Felix effectively activated Magmus, a substantial gatling gun, which he skillfully utilized to neutralize one henchman, resulting in the inadvertent destruction of numerous alcohol bottles within the vicinity. Despite the chaos unfolding, the Malachite twins remained unfazed, merely rolling their eyes in response to the ongoing commotion. The henchmen, propelled by the force of the gun, were propelled across the bar, showcasing the sheer power and impact of Felix's weapon. Felix effectively utilized Magmus to eliminate the remaining henchmen, causing them to be propelled through the air, resulting in the breakage of additional bottles and windows.
Felix, having decisively emerged victorious in the battle against the henchmen, proceeded deliberately towards Junior, his weapon resting casually on his shoulder as he walked towards Junior who was terrified as he saw him easily win his henchmen."Do you think your, henchmen will save you", Felix asked. "They are stupid and weak", Junior answered . "Then why do you hide behind them like a rat hiding from a cat".
Felix then walked closer towards Junior. "It seems he wasn't wrong about your incompetence." Felix said, "The Xiong family name has fallen all because of you. Even a teenager can walk in here and make a mess of the Xiong family name", Felix finished. "Lies!!! Nobody did that" Junior said defending himself. "Why try to hide your failure", Felix said as he sprayed pictures of a teenage girl with blonde hair.
"Just say your'e jealous not as if you could do any better", Junior said mocking him. Felix, in a fit of anger, forcefully pushed Magmus aside to engage in a fair physical confrontation with Junior. Despite Junior's attempts to strike Felix, he skillfully evaded the blows and retaliated with his own punches. Junior adeptly defended against Felix's attacks, showcasing impressive defensive prowess. Undeterred, Felix let out a fierce cry and intensified his assault on Junior, launching a relentless series of punches and kicks in a determined manner.
Junior initiated another attack on Felix by delivering multiple kicks, which were initially blocked. Subsequently, Junior landed a forceful punch to Felix's torso, resulting in a visible flicker in his aura. However, Felix, displaying remarkable resilience, retaliated by delivering two powerful kicks to Junior's head, causing his aura to flicker twice in response.
Felix and Junior engaged in a physical altercation, with Felix executing back kicks to Junior's face repeatedly. However, Junior managed to identify a gap in Felix's defense and retaliated by delivering a forceful kick to Felix's chest. The confrontation escalated as both parties persisted in close combat. Subsequently, Felix landed a kick to Junior's midsection followed by a powerful blow to his face, causing Junior's aura to momentarily flicker before dissipating entirely, rendering him unconscious.
Junior slowly opened his eyes, blinking a few times before focusing on his surroundings. As he regained consciousness, he took a deep breath and tried to sit up, looking slightly disoriented but gradually becoming more alert. "You know Hei, father never trusted your ability to carry the Xiong family name and all that fear has come to light, seems he was right and you're too weak to prove us wrong" Felix said. "Father is dead it's my turn to...", Junior retorted. "To do what??" Felix questioned angrily.
IN A FOREST
Davi and Alice embarked on a routine huntsman mission aimed at eradicating grimm to enhance the safety of the environment. Their expertise in combat techniques and strategic planning significantly contributed to the possibility success of their endeavor. By eliminating grimm threats, they effectively minimized potential dangers for the inhabitants in the surrounding areas, fostering a sense of security and well-being. Their commitment to this noble cause exemplifies the dedication and valor expected of huntsmen and huntresses. " I gotta tell you, I absolutely love taking down those grimms, it's my thing." Davi said. "Yeah!! Let's put that theory to test, cuz I have my doubts." Alice said. " How do you suppose we do that "Davi asked, " Let's see who can kill.the most grimm" Alice suggested. "Ohhhhh!! Really a challenge, I love the sound of that. BRING IT ON!!", Davi said as he activated The Imperial Blade.
Davi skillfully utilized Imperial's sheath to glide across the terrain, showcasing exceptional control and finesse. After effortlessly transitioning the sheath to his back, he swiftly dispatched a pair of beowolves by precisely slicing through their bone skulls, resulting in their prompt demise and subsequent dissipation. But not long after he was faced by an Alpha beowolf. Davi used Imperial to block a couple of strikes and an attempted bite of the Alpha beowolf. Davi took advantage of the opportunity and kicked the beowolf's head with both his legs sending the beowolf flying backwards and breaking a tree trunk leaving it dazed.
Davi expertly seized the opportunity presented by the beowolf's disoriented state, swiftly and effortlessly cleaving the creature in two with his sword. Davi encountered King Taijitsu, the grimm snake, who he bravely engaged in combat. With precision, Davi cut the tail of the snake, provoking it further. In response, King Taijitsu lunged towards Davi, who skillfully dodged the attack and swiftly struck the sword into the face of the serpent, ultimately defeating the opponent.
Davi skillfully evaded the initial attack from one of the two ursa majors he faced, swiftly retaliating by delivering a powerful kick to the bone skull of the creature. However, his triumph was short-lived as the second ursa immediately launched its assault. Subsequently, both ursas launched a coordinated and aggressive attack against Davi. Davi dodged all the attacks from the two ursas and stabbed one of them in it's lower area before smashing it's head against the ground with his feet. Davi who just killed one grimm had no problem killing the othe ursa major as he sliced it's head clean.
Alice swiftly activated Accel's dual pistol mode to engage in combat, showcasing her exceptional marksmanship skills. However, her prowess was challenged when two King Taijitsu creatures confronted her. Despite the unexpected double threat, Alice adeptly evaded an incoming strike from one of the Taijitsu, demonstrating her agility and quick reflexes. In a daring move, she leaped onto the back of one Taijitsu, smoothly sliding along its spine. Yet, the second King Taijitsu wasted no time in launching an aggressive assault on Alice. Alice skillfully evaded the second Taijitsu's attack, leading it to inadvertently bite the first Taijitsu, rendering it immobile on the ground. This strategic maneuver showcases. Alice scoffed and said "Clumsy" before Alice switched Accel to its dual katana mode and activated her semblance, creating two clones enhanced with fire dust.
Alice and her two clones successfully engaged the final Taijitsu. The clones executed precise slashes, targeting one of the Taijitsu's eyes, and delivered crucial strikes before dissipating. The Taijitsu was left burnt from the encounter. Alice successfully defeated the Taijitsu heads by stabbing one and delivering a final blow to the other, ultimately killing both creatures before walking towards Davi.
"Let's finish what we've started" Davi said. "You can count me in" Alice replied. Davi and Alice effectively engaged a Death Stalker threat by targeting specific vulnerable points on the creature. Davi focused on disabling the stinger of the Death Stalker, while Alice skillfully aimed her attacks at the scorpion grimm's claws. Davi skillfully evaded the strikes of the Death Stalker's stinger, effectively countering with precise strikes from the Imperial blade.
Unknown to Davi, Alice was significantly more successful as she collaborated with three of her clones, all enhanced with ice dust. The subject, along with her duplicates, adeptly and accurately trimmed the claws of the deathstalker. However, following the completion of the task, the duplicates dissipated, showcasing the temporary nature of their existence because of the limits of her semblance. Davi skillfully infused his energy into Imperial, causing the blade to emit a brilliant blue glow. With a swift jump, he cleaved the Death Stalker in half using the empowered sword. The deathstalker scorpion vanished into thin air, leaving Davi to descend and touch ground mere inches from Alice's position. "Hi" Davi said as his tone was seductive as he interacted with Alice, who responded by pushing him away due to her annoyance. " Learn to respect personal boundaries" Alice said rudely. " There's no need to say it in the rudest way possible" Davi said making Alice scoff.
OUTSIDE JUNIOR'S BAR
Davi had his hands hung behind his head and said, " I come here often y'know". " What's your semblance" Alice asked. "You'll know, soon enough" Davi said. " We are partner these things shouldn't be a secret" Alice said. "You haven't told me yours ?" Davi asked. "It's overactive imagination. It's more like cloning and a lil bit of hallucination" Alice answered. " You don't say ?" Davi said inquisitively. "I answered your question answer mine" Alice said angrily.
As Davi was about to snub her again he saw a bunch of henchmen lying outside the bar and Davi thought it was Roman's henchmen. "What are Roman's henchmen doing here" Davi asked not really expecting an answer. " What are you doing here is also a valid question that needs answers" Alice said. " Hey!! I come here to chill and watch hot girls beat the owner of the bar" Davi answered making Alice roll her eyes.
Upon entering the room, Felix was observed engaging in conversation with Junior, who appeared to be seated on the floor in a visibly bruised and battered state. The scene depicted a significant interaction between the two individuals, with Felix taking a dominant position in the dialogue.
The encounter between Felix and Junior inside the room was marked by a clear display of physical distress on Junior's part, evident from the visible bruises and injuries he bore. Felix's presence and engagement with Junior indicated a level of authority and control over the situation, as he appeared to be the focal point of the interaction.
"It seems we have visitors, and I don't feel very welcoming today" Felix said. "We don't wish to be welcomed" Alice said as he activated Accel.
In a dramatic turn of events, Davi and Alice found themselves facing off against Felix, who unleashed the powerful Magmus. The trio engaged in a fierce battle, with Davi and Alice strategically coordinating their attacks. Despite Felix's defense with Magmus, Alice managed to exploit a moment of weakness, causing his aura to falter.
Davi and Alice attempted to launch another attack, only to witness the adversary seemingly vanish before their eyes. Despite the apparent disappearance, Davi remained steadfast in the knowledge that the threat persisted in their vicinity. The situation demanded heightened vigilance and strategic planning to effectively counter the elusive opponent.
" I hate that semblance of his" Junior said making Davi and Alice who were still on guard to tell "shut up" at him. In a surprising turn of events, Felix, who had mysteriously become invisible, attempted to launch an attack on Davi. Despite the element of surprise, Davi skillfully countered Felix's assault with a barrage of punches and expertly executed blocks, showcasing remarkable agility and combat prowess. The intense exchange of blows filled the air, creating a whirlwind of action as both fighters engaged in a fierce battle of skill and strategy.
As the confrontation unfolded, Felix suddenly reappeared, his invisibility fading away as he struggled to regain his composure. Gasping for breath, Felix's aura flickered erratically, indicating the immense physical and mental strain he was under.
As Davi and Alice attempted to confront the newly revealed adversary, the lighting within the dilapidated bar dimmed, allowing Felix to slip away unnoticed. "He's vanished," Davi announced to his companion. However, before they could process the unfolding situation, law enforcement personnel promptly arrived at the location.
The sudden appearance of the police interrupted any further actions by Davi and Alice, signaling a shift in the circumstances.
A/N: Alright that's the end of this chapter. It didn't end quite intensely but it sets the scene for the next chapter. I made Junior more useful by making him good at hand combat and he is the brother of Felix who is quite jealous of him. Since I intend to make Felix a recurring villain it makes Junior more useful in future sagas unlike the original rwby series. As for Felix his semblance and true intentions will be uncovered in the the next chapters. Davi is Gannon keep his identity a secret for a long while but SPOILER ALERT: Alice will be the first person to know.
