Sonic X (my version)
Hi, this mastershadow300 this is my version of sonic X, I don't own sonic.
my version involves more characters than the ones from the series, I hope you like it.

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra saga,

"Shadow, Terios, and Umbra Knows".

Helicopter is flying overhead.

"Attention Control. We are currently heading south. Suspect is in custody," the pilot said."

"This is Control speaking. We've verified your position. Handle suspect carefully. He's a slippery little guy," control said."

Back of helicopter, Sonic is seated in handcuffs with soldiers.

"You're awful quiet," Soldier A said."

"So what?" Sonic asked."

"Well, from what I heard, you and your associates caused quite a ruckus over at Prison Island the other night. Now we can't get two words out of you," Soldier A replied."

"Clearly, your hearings off! I've never heard or where prison island is! even if I did, how could I have gotten there and back to station square where you found me even at my top speed?" Sonic asked."

"You better watch that smart mouth, hedgehog, or you'll be running laps in a 10x9 cell," Soldier B replied."

"Look, I was with Sal, helping Station Square recover, then you police officers showed up and arrest me for something I didn't do!" Sonic said."

"We got reports of three Mobian hedgehogs on prison island!" Soldier A said." And you're going to tell us where the other two are!"

(Shocked) "Excuse me?!" Sonic asked."

(Realizing what he said) "Oh. oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean-," Soldier A said."

"Oh, I see! "A Mobian hedgehog caused problems on prison island, so, it must be Sonic, or his brother, sister, or cousin, who's been putting their lives on the line whenever they can to save people," right?! you are by far the most racist human I've ever met!" Sonic said."

"Sorry about him. he tends to put his foot in his mouth. besides we didn't see Manic, Sonia, or Nicky only you on prison island," Soldier B said."

Soldier A sweat drops. in the cargo bay, Sally is stowing away behind some containers.

(Internally) "Hang on Sonic," Sally said."

"You know, with what Sonic said, I don't think anyone would blame us if he managed to escape," Soldier A said."

Sally reveals herself.

"Sal!" Sonic said."

Using her ring blades Sally free Sonic from his handcuffs.

"Try not to choke on your dang foot," Soldier B said."

The soldiers are heard grunting and shoving around in the helicopter as they are unable to apprehend Sonic and Sally.

"What's going on up there?!" Control asked."

Sally slides the door open and she and Sonic jump onto the wing.

"Thanks babe," Sonic said."

"Come on, Sonic! we're getting out of here!" Sally said pulling out a scrap of metal from the wing shape like a board."

Sonic secures his feet to the board and Sally holds on to his shoulders as she stands on the board behind him.

"Hold on tight. this'll get rough," Sonic said."

"I'm not letting go," Sally said."

jumps off on a scrap of metal.

"WHOO-HOO!" Sonic said."

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?! Come back!" the soldier said."

skateboard park scene, some kids see Sonic and Sally coming and are in awe.

"Sorry, dudes!" Sonic said." And don't try this at home kids!"

(Theme song) Government computer tracking room.

"Suspect located," the government intel said."

"Deploy robots immediately!" Captain Westwood said."

"But sir, he's in a still recovering Station Square!" Intel said."

"Did I ask for some deployed robots or some dang lip, maggot?!" Westwood asked."

He whimpers and deploys the robots. Meanwhile, Sonic and Sally stop in Station Square.

"Uh oh!" Sally said."

A swarm of Gun beetles reach them.

"Let's get out of here!" Sonic said."

Sonic and Sally run away from the Gun beetles, which begin firing and causing damage to the city.

"I'm starting to get the impression that G.U.N's full of hypocrites," Sonic said."

"No kidding! the city's already damaged and this isn't helping!" Sally said."

The two dodge the blasts.

"And on top of that, they mean business!" Sonic said."

Sonic and Sally run into an alleyway and go into the sewers as the Gun beetles zoom past the alleyway entrance, unaware that the two Mobians have detoured.

(After they enter the sewer) "This just isn't my day. I get arrested for a crime I didn't commit. After the times I saved those humans, it feels like a slap in the face!" Sonic said."

"My day isn't that great either! first, G.U.N, takes you away from me without a warrant and, if that wasn't bad enough, they send robots to capture you that are just as destructive as badniks!" Sally said."

"Could we possibly sink any lower?" Sonic asked."

"I swear, Sonic, I'll clear your name and expose the true culprits!" Sally replied."

"Sonic?" a voice asked."

Sonic and Sally stop when they hear a voice and sees Omochao.

"A robot Chao?" Sally asked."

"Hi. I'm Omochao. your friend Hope created me to help you out," Omochao replied."

"Oh hi, how'd you get down here, little guy?" Sonic asked."

"I was among the G.U.N. robots deployed. don't worry, though. I'm not here to capture you guys. not that I could, I'm not build for combat," Omochao replied."

"Considering Hope made you, I'm not surprised," Sonic said."

"Hope knows you're innocent, Sonic," Omochao said." So does Junior and Von Schlemmer."

"Thank Aurora! So, who's behind all this?" Sally asked."

"Well, this is what was shown in the footage," Omochao replied."

His eyes project a silhouette of three Mobian hedgehogs on prison island especially one that looks exactly like Sonic.

"Who are they?" Sonic asked."

"Unfortunately, there's insufficient data on that. however, looking at the silhouette proves that it's not you. the culprit's shoes are black, wears a scarf, has muscles, round circles on his wrist with what looks like they could form a chain and a scar over his right eye. its associate is another male hedgehog with jagged edges on his shoes his head quills are pointed upwards and has fur on his chest and rings on his wrist and ancles. lastly the other hedgehog is a dark blue female one wearing a black shirt, a leather jacket, dark blue jeans, red gloves and shoes with yellow big rings on her wrist and ancles," Omochao replied."

"Right. whoever these hedgehogs are, we'll stop them before Sonic is caught," Sally said."

"Unfortunately, most humans lack the intelligence to notice these details. Since G.U.N. has predominantly human members, this complicates things a bit," Omochao said."

"What can we do?" Sonic asked."

Cut to Chris walking to school while chatting with a classmate.

"Hey, Chris, I hear you come from Station Square," a classmate said."

"Uh… yeah," Chris said."

"Have you ever seen Sonic the Hedgehog up close?" the classmate asked."

"Uh… Sonic? Well, sorta," Chris replied."

"What's he like? Is he really that fast?" the classmate asked."

"You bet he's fast! He's faster than anybody and he's nicer than anybody too," Chris replied."

"Wish I could meet him. Who knows? Maybe if we're lucky we'll both get to meet him someday. Well, I gotta get to class. Later!" the classmate said."

"See ya!" Chris said."

Chris stops for a bit while having a serious expression on his face.

(President's limo)

"Mr. President, it appears our undercover operative, has settled into his new mission and will have all of the resources necessary," Christina said."

"Good work. And what about the flood?" the president asked."

"Well, sir, I've read the full report over the last few days. There was some damage, but from what I could gather, none of the citizens were harmed in any way," Christina replied."

"And what about Sonic? Is there any new information?" the president asked."

"I'm afraid it doesn't look good. And with a crime of this magnitude, sir, I'm not sure the government should get involved," Christina replied."

"I don't know… This just doesn't sound like him," the president said."

"I agree with you, sir," Sam said."

"Huh?" the president asked."

"Sonic's no crook. his brother Manic maybe, because he was raised by thieves, but even he wouldn't try pulling a heist like that. besides, G.U.N.'s already hunting him down and their supreme commander tower takes orders from the president, so, like it or not, the governments already involved," Sam replied."

"Just drive," the president said."

"We've been trying to contact Commander Tower since last night, but he hasn't responded back. Furthermore, he promised that the G.U.N. robots would only be used against Eggman, yet they're currently being used to exacerbate the already severally damaged Station Square just to capture Sonic. This is already reflecting poorly on G.U.N." Christina said."

"Right. I've known Abe to be an honest and careful man during my time in office. This cybernetic manhunt just doesn't seem within his nature. I wouldn't put something like this past card passer or captain Westwood, but Abe has the power to stop them," the president said."

"If you ask me, it sounds like something happened to Tower and someone got it in their head that they can commit these crimes in his name and get away with it," Sam said."

"Logic dictates that we investigate further and protect Sonic. it won't be easy, but we have to try," Christina said."

That night at the museum, Shadow, Terios, and Umbra steals the green Chaos Emerald and defeats Gun Beetle sentries before making their getaway, cut to the President's office.

"Mr. President, I have some bad news," Commander Tower said."

"What is it?" the president asked."

"I don't want to sound racist, but we saw three Mobian hedgehogs with one looking like Sonic at the National Museum of Art attempting to steal the Chaos Emerald!" Tower replied."

(Towards the same soldier from the plane name James Crowe) "Be honest James, did that sound any less racist in your head?" Christina asked."

"Honestly, it did not," James replied."

"It can't be!" the president said."

"Regardless, my men are awaiting your instruction, sir," James said."

"Find him and place him under arrest," the president said."

"Sir, are you sure?" James asked."

"Don't worry James I have a plan. This is a trap for the real culprit and its associates. if someone commits crimes in Sonic's name after he's locked up, we'll have irrefutable evidence that Sonic's innocent and is released with a heartfelt apology from G.U.N. and country as a whole," the president replied."

"Ah I see, sir!" James said."

"In the meantime, what are the whereabouts of Supreme Commander Tower?" Christina asked."

"According to captain Westwood, he's taken a leave of absence and left him in charge until returns," James replied."

"I see," the president said."

Back at computer room.

Captain Westwood is waiting for James, who soon returns.

"Captain, I've received orders from the president that we're to capture Sonic. should crimes be committed in his name after his arrest, he's to be released with a heartfelt apology on behalf of G.U.N. and the country as a whole," James said."

"Understood. we'll be curtained to explain the plan to Sonic and anyone he's around. (Internally) 'the heck I will. I've been upstaged by Mobians for far too long now and with Tower out of the way, I can run things as I see fit.' (Aloud) James, alert your division commanders," Westwood said."

"Yes sir!" James said."

Meanwhile, Hope and Junior were quietly searching headquarters for Abraham. They find him unconscious, bound and gagged in a broom closet and gasp in horror. Junior quietly removes the gag, and Hope uses smelling salt to wake him up.

(Stirs) "oh my head," Abraham said."

"Commander Tower, what happened?" Hope asked."

"Yeah dude," Junior said."

"I'm not certain. one moment, I was getting things ready with repurposing Eggman's machinery. next thing I knew, I was out cold.

"While you were repurposing my uncle's tech, did you hear the news of three Mobian hedgehogs on prison island?" Hope asked."

"Yes, I remember that. I told captain Westwood to perform a thorough investigation before I was knocked out," Abraham replied."

Hope and Junior carefully helps Abraham to his feet.

"Westwood's running G.U.N. now. he's sent G.U.N. robots to hunt down Sonic!" Junior said."

"Those robots were meant to be used against Eggman's forces! we have to stop him!" Abraham said."

"What's worse, my dad's gotten hold of a file for something called project: Shadow, Terios, Umbra," Junior said."

"Project: Shadow, Terios, Umbra?! This is even more unfortunate news!" Abraham said."

"You know about it?" Hope asked."

"Yes, I was 10 years old during the project's development," Abraham replied."

"By Aurora!" Hope said."

"Dang," Junior said."

"I can only hope that Shadow, Terios, and Umbra still remembers their promise to Maria," Abraham said."

"Maria? there's a lot I need to understand about this, but you can explain more as we carry on with what needs to be done," Hope said."

'Maria, I know I've heard that name before,' Junior thought.'

Meanwhile at the place Chris and the others are staying, they are watching the news.

"And now a breaking news story. I'm standing in the main pavilion of the National Museum of Art, where earlier tonight, three thieves broke through security and stole a priceless Chaos Emerald. Authorities found these images on tapes confiscated from the museum's security cameras," the reporter said."

A tape plays showing an obviously black and red hedgehog, a dark purple hedgehog, and a dark blue hedgehog stealing the Chaos Emerald.

"Was that Sonic?" Chris asked." and who are the other two?"

"It can't be Sonic. that hedgehog may look like him, but it's not him," Charles replied." Also, the other two are a mystery."

"Right. that guy has muscles and a scar over his eye," Bunnie said."

"Not only that, but his eyes are also different one being red and the other being white," Rotor said."

"He's not even wearing Sonic's shoes and gloves!" Jules said."

(Pausing the report when the footage has the three hedgehogs mostly Terios up close to the camera) "And look at around his neck, he has a scarf! the other one has a tuft of white fur on his chest! and the last one looks female, thus that hedgehog isn't Sonic!" Charles said."

"Yeah, right. That was Sonic on those security tapes," Chuck said."

"It can't be!" Tania said."

"My son would never steal, Manic maybe but that was before Tiara," Bernedette said."

"He was framed!" Ella and Mr. Tanaka said."

"I'm surprised you're so quick to believe that's Sonic after all the times you've seen him! (Pulls out a picture of Sonic) look at this picture and compare it to the hedgehog on the screen! Surly a human of your intelligence can see the differences," Paulie said."

"Yeah! even I'm able to. (realizing what he said) wait," Chris said."

Chuck looks carefully at the picture of Sonic and the hedgehog on the screen.

"Now that you mention it, I do see the subtle differences," Chuck said."

"SUBTLE! Zhey are as plain as Zhe nose on your face!" Antonie said."

(Entering the room) "What's going on?" Aleena asked."

"Someone framing Sonic," Tania replied."

Aleena sees the three hedgehogs on screen and gasps at Terios as if she saw a ghost.

"Is something wrong, miss Aleena?" Tanaka asked."

"That hedgehog! he looks like-but it can't be!" Aleena replied."

"Who? who is it?" Renee asked."

"Yeah grandma, who is he?" Tania asked."

"That hedgehog in the middle looks like my grandfather, Terios, but it's impossible because he died years ago. I know because I was there," Aleena replied."

"Terios?" Chris asked."

"He was the king of Christmas Island before my father. he accomplished something that was long believed to be impossible," Aleena replied."

"What would that be," Ella asked."

"I'm curious myself," Morain said."

"He induced chaos control with a single chaos emerald," Aleena replied."

Everyone gasps in amazement.

"Me and my father, try as we might, simply couldn't accomplish it," Aleena said."

"But, if the hedgehog we saw in the footage looks like the late Terios, then who is he along with his partners?" Chris asked."

"I don't care who he is. I'm NOT gonna let him tarnish my son's good name," Jules replied."

"Yeah, nobody frames my brother!" Tania said."

"Right. whoever he is, we have to stop him and his partners before they get Sonic into trouble," Chris said."

"Surprisingly enough, authorities have determined from this footage that the thief is none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. According to reports, Sonic and his associates has destroyed numerous government tanks and fled to an unknown location," the reporter said."

"If they're property of G.U.N., I can understand why he did it! I've read about G.U.N. sending robots to hunt Sonic! Station Square's still recovering from the flood and those G.U.N. robots aren't helping!" Charles replied."

The wristers make static noises.

(Answering) "Hello? Hope, is everything alright?" Chris asked."

(Via the wristers) "attention all freedom fighters! G.U.N. is currently being usurped by corrupt captain Westwood! Sonic is being framed for a crime he didn't commit. Don't believe what the media says and help prove Sonic's innocence. this is Hope Kintobor signing out," Hope replied."

"Looks like she heard about it, too," Chris said."

"That's Hope for you. never misses a beat, that girl," Charles said."

"Well, you heard her. we have to help prove Sonic's innocence," Chris said."

"Yeah!" Tania said."

The Gun Beetle break open into the sewers. Meanwhile Jerome Wise is in the sewers camping with other homeless men.

"Eh, what are you? Crazy or something? Sonic ain't no thief," the homeless man said." His brother was."

"I wouldn't make this up! I saw it on a TV in a repair shop window. Would I lie to you?" Jerome asked."

"Wouldn't surprise me none, considering you was a politician once! anyone with half a brain knows you blame Sonic for ruining your life even though it was your own fault!" the homeless man said."

"No. I tell you! they saw him steal the thing, Jerome said."

"Give us a reason to believe you when you didn't learn crap from making deals with Eggman by making a deal with him a second time even though that's what cost you your job as the president's lapdog in the first place!" the homeless man said."

"I'm telling you the truth! and not only that, but they also caught him breaking into Prison Island just last night. Red Handed! Probably trying to steal government secrets," Jerome said."

"I ain't no steven hawking or nothing, but how do you explain Sonic getting to prison island and back to Station Square where they found him even at his top speed," the homeless man said."

"He could even at his top speed," Jerome said."

"You're full of crap, Wise!" the homeless man said."

"Oh, yeah? you may worship Sonic, but one day, you'll see how foolish you were to do so!" Jerome said."

Sonic and Sally rush by with Omochao in tow.

"There he goes!" Jerome said."

Gun Beetles follow.

"Whoa! those things are chasing them!" the homeless man said."

"They look like they belong to G.U.N.," Jerome said."

"They also blew up my dumpster home this morning! Station Square's broken enough as it is!" the homeless man said."

"We better get out of here!" the other homeless man said."

Cut to Prison Island where Mr. Stewart is driving Scarlet Garcia, Isabelle and Monica through security.

"How did you manage to get me permission to visit Prison Island?" Scarlet asked."

"Yeah," Isabelle said."

"Well, let's just say I have connections in high places," Stewart replied."

"Who are you, exactly?" Scarlet asked."

"Just a fellow newshound, that's all," Stewart replied."

"Mystery," Monica said."

They are then talking to the Prison Island boss in his office.

"Have you ever heard of a government operation called "Projects Shadow, Terios, Umbra"?" Scarlet said."

"I'm afraid that's top secret. However, after last night, I'm not sure how long it will stay secret. Take a look," the warden said."

turns on the TV that plays security camera footage of Dr. Eggman's break in.

"This is security cam video from last night. As you can see, Eggman and three hedgehogs have broken into the system and they're trying to steal the Projects Shadow, Terios, and Umbra file," the warden said."

"Wait just a minute here. I've seen Sonic up close a few times and that's not him!" Stewart said."

"Yeah, that doesn't look like our cousin," Monica said."

"He didn't say it was Sonic," Scarlet said."

"Well, after looking at the footage and comparing the hedgehog in them to a picture of Sonic, we noticed a few subtle differences," the warden said."

"SUBTLE?! they're plain as day!" Isabelle said."

"So, who are these hedgehogs?" Scarlet asked."

"Not sure. but we're baiting a trap for those hedgehogs. if they try framing Sonic while he's behind bars, we'll have proof that Sonic's innocent," the warden replied."

"Excellent, sir," Stewart said."

(Looks at Terios) 'He looks like that picture from our castle portraits,' Monica thought.

Sonic and Sally break out of the sewer and defeats the Gun Beetles pursuing them.

"That was easy!" Sonic said."

Manic, Sonia, and Nicky meets up with them not happy.

"Sonic, Sally," Nicky said."

"Nicky, Sonia, Manic," Sonic said."

"I can't believe people would believe Sonic would commit these crimes," Sonia said."

"Especially when the one framing Sonic kind of looks like him! (holds up a newspaper with a picture of the three Mobian hedgehogs) I mean, look at this! this guy has muscles, a scar, and two different eye colors," Manic said."

"Right. We know our brother and he would never do this," Sonia said."

"Yeah, Manic we understand, but Sonic no way," Nicky said."

"True," Manic said." And it's a good thing Hope sent us all that message."

"That's true," Sally said." and we can't outrun G.U.N. forever."

"Whoa?" Sonic said."

Suddenly, Big Foot flies down to fight the Mobians.

"Can't hang around, big guy. Sorry! we'll give you a ring sometime. Whattaya say?" Sonic asked."

Sonic, Manic, Sonia, Nicky, and Sally use their Spin Attack but misses.

"Now that's what I call a tight squeeze!" Manic said."

Big Foot fires missiles at Sonic while Sonic runs up along a skyscraper then jumps off to lure the missiles into destroying Big Foot itself.

"That guy's gotta work on his aim a little bit," Sonic said."

"Yeah," Nicky said."

Suddenly the robots remain light up, and Shadow, Terios, and Umbra emerges.

Sonic: "Huh? Whoa… Huh? What the?!" Sonic said."

"It's them!" Sally replied."

"So, you're Sonic, are you? these humans are foolish enough to believe you look like my brother? what a joke!" Shadow said."

"Yeah, the only thing similar to us is that we're hedgehogs," Terios said." how uncanny."

(One hand on her hip) "Along with the fact he lacks muscles," Umbra said." aside being kind of cute looking."

"Right! Sonic is good and you three are wicked!" Sonia said."

"Wait a minute! So, it's you that's been getting me in all this hot water lately. Imposter!" Sonic said."

Jumps over to the three hedgehogs, but they disappear instantaneously leaving Sonic, his siblings, cousin, and Sally confused.

"What?!" Manic said."

"(From on top of a building) "Imposter, am I? No. You're not good enough to be my fake!" Terios said."

Sally runs up the building while Manic uses his wind powers to head up the building to capture the hedgehogs, who only smirks before Shadow and Umbra used a sneak attack them and slams them to the ground. Sonic runs up the building.

"How dare you hurt my girlfriend and brother!" Sonic said."

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra vanishes before Sonic can land a hit. Sonic growls in frustration. But he calms down as he helps Sally and Manic to their feet.

"These guys are brutal!" Manic said."

"They're going to more difficult to take down than we realized," Sally said."

(From another building rooftop) "You thought you could defeat us? you're even bigger fools than we thought. I wanted to see why Sonic has such a reputation. From what we've seen, I already feel disappointed. All the same, I sense something vaguely familiar about the five of you," Terios said."

"How? We've never met before," Sally said."

"Can't say, though, the familiarity intrigues me," Terios replied."

"What doesn't?" Umbra asked."

"I agree," Shadow said."

Cut to the place Chris and the Mobians is staying, Chuck is on the phone.

"You're kidding! Unbelievable. Well, be sure to call us right away if anything else happens. That was your father. Apparently Sonic, his siblings, his cousin, and Sally been spotted battling a government robot on Downhill Street," Chuck said." and they're being seen battling three other Mobian hedgehogs that seems to be overpowering them.

"What?! they found the imposter and his associates" Chris asked."

"Come on, we're going to downhill street!" Jeles said."

"I'll drive you there! Chris, you stay here," Chuck said."

"Yes, you've only been a freedom fighter for a while, and you don't have enough experience yet," Bernedette said."

"She's right," Aleena said."

"I understand. it's too dangerous," Chris said."

Back at the battle.

"We need a plan," Sally said."

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra rushes towards them and Sonic takes the brunt charge before they toss him to the ground. Chuck, Aleena, Jules, Bernedette, Paulie, and Brenda arrive on the scene.

"My god!" Chuck said."

Umbra then does the same thing to Sally as Shadow did the same with Manic, Sonia, and Nicky.

"Ugh!" Sally, Sonia, Manic, and Nicky said."

Eggman's flying camera robot flies overhead and offers the doctor a view of the battle.

"Sonic, his siblings, his cousin, and Sally are a bit overwhelmed, aren't they? I certainly can't blame them. I felt rather confused myself when I encountered Shadow, Terios, and Umbra for the first time," Eggman said."

Flashback to when Eggman, Snively, and Eggette released Shadow, Terios, and Umbra from stasis.

"Mobian hedgehogs?!" Eggman said."

"What trick is this?" Eggette asked." Even Sonic's here."

"Wait, that one looks like Sonic, but he's different from him," Snively said."

(Kneeling) "My name is Shadow, and this is my older brother Terios and my older sister Umbra. You've awakened us from a state of suspended animation, and we're very grateful. To show our gratitude, we are at your command," Shadow said."

(Cracking his neck) "It feels good to be out of stasis," Terios said."

(Stretching yoga style) "I agree, feels good to stretch my legs," Umbra said."

"Eh?" Eggman asked."

Eggman notices Hot Shot approaching them.

"Bad timing as usual!" Eggman said."

"Looks like G.U.N.'s stepped up their tech," Umbra said."

"Seems so," Terios said."

"Wait. we'll will show you our power, Doctor," Shadow said."

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra lunges at Hot Shot and the flashback ends.

"You've met your match, Sonic! Compared to Shadow's fancy footwork, you're as slow as a mound of molasses!" Eggman said."

"And now that you fools have gotten a bit better acquainted, you're sure to see that for yourselves!" Eggette said as she laughs evilly."

Back at the fight, Shadow reveals his Chaos Emerald.

"He's got a Chaos Emerald!" Chuck said."

"Where'd you get that Chaos Emerald, you phony freak? Hand it over!" Sonic said."

Sonic runs over to attack Shadow, but Shadow and his siblings' teleports.

"You can do better than that, Sonic. If you don't light a fire under those feet, you'll never get this Emerald back," Shadow said."

Sonic jumps back and try to attack again, but to no avail.

"He really is faster than I am!" Sonic said."

"But that's not speed. He and his siblings are disappearing!" Chuck said."

(On top of a lamppost as Terios and Umbra lean on the bottom) "That's not all. we're full of surprises. (lifts the chaos emerald) Chaos Control, now!" Shadow said."

The chaos emerald starts to glisten with a green glow. to everyone's surprise, Shadow, Terios, and Umbra teleports successfully.

"He and his siblings can cause Chaos Control with just one Chaos Emerald?! Who is they and where did they come from?" Sonic asked."

They reappear right next to him. Sonic tries to kick them, but they dodge, and Umbra kisses his cheek surprising him as Shadow and Terios knocks Sonic down.

"Stop! (She teleports between the hedgehogs and Sonic then looks at Terios) if you're truly my grandfather, I implore you to spare my grandson!" Alenna said."

"Grandfather?" Sonic asked."

"Terios, you had a child?" Shadow asked."

"And you didn't tell us?" Umbra asked."

"Don't be stupid, I don't have grandchildren. and I've never been married to have a child!" Terios replied."

"Makes sense, since you have the face to scare away girls," Umbra said."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Terios asked."

Umbra playfully shrugs.

(Defiantly) "I knew it was too good to be true! you truly ARE an imposter!" Aleena said."

"And they fight dirty!" Sonic said."

"You dare call me an imposter?!" Terios asked."

"She needs her eye checked," Shadow said."

"All my life, I've known only ONE being capable of inducing chaos control with a single chaos emerald and that was my grandfather, King Terios Hedgehog!" Aleena said."

"Your grandfather was named after me?" Terios asked."

"More like you were named after him," Umbra replied."

"For a fleeting moment, we thought you were him, but I truly do know better! you're not him because Terios is dead!" Bernedette said."

"All you're doing is framing my nephew and disrespecting our great grandfathers name," Brenda said."

"That's why Terios said we seemed familiar to him earlier," Sally said."

Terios looked confused as much as Shadow and Umbra.

"So, he's a clone?" Sonia asked."

"Then what about the other two?" Manic asked."

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra clutches their heads, screaming in agony.

"What?!" Aleena asked."

"Professor Gerald! Don't do this! think of-," Shadow said."

They grunt in pain.

"Professor Gerald?" Nicky asked."

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra's expressions hardens.

(Helping Sonic to his feet) "What's going on?" Sally asked."

(With a pulsing red aura) "We will avenge the Robotnik family!" Shadow said."

"Say what?!" Sonic asked."

(Punching Sonia) "This is for Jennifer!" Umbra said."

"Ah!" Sonia said."

(Tossing Manic and Nicky into a lamppost) "This is for Geraldo!" Terios said."

"Whoa! Ugh!" Manic and Nicky said."

(Body slamming sally) "This is for Meredith!" Umbra said."

Sally groans in pain.

(Grabbing Sonic by the neck) "And this is for Mari-," Shadow said."

Shadow suddenly stops himself and looks hesitant as Sonic struggles to breathe.

(Releasing him before he and his siblings clutches their heads and emitting a blue aura) "No. she wouldn't want this. She wouldn't want any of this!" Shadow said."

"This is not her wish!" Umbra said."

"This isn't our promise to her!" Terios said."

Sonic looks at Shadow Terios and Umbra while rubbing his own neck when the police sirens are heard.

"The police! They ought to see the truth now!" Manic said."

(Holding the chaos emerald over his head as Terios and Umbra get close) "Chaos control," Shadow, Terios, and Umbra said."

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra teleports away as the police arrive.

"Should've kept my mouth shut," Manic said."

"Sonic, we've got you surrounded! You're under arrest! Put your hands up," the chief said."

"He didn't do anything!" Jules said."

"We have orders from the president to bait a trap for the real culprits," the chief said."

"Huh? a trap?" Sonic asked."

"Yeah. the boys have been reviewing the footage and realized there's subtle differences between you and the hedgehog committing the crimes," the chief replied."

"Subtle?! the differences between them are the muscles, scar, gloves, and shoes! the only thing similar to them are there quills!" Sally said."

"Anyways, a plan has been made that will prove your innocence, Sonic," the chief said."

(Realizing the plan) "Ah! okay, officer. I'll play ball," Sonic said."

"And you promise that he'll be safe?" sally asked."

"If crimes are committed in his name after he was locked up, he'll be released from prison island with a heartfelt apology from the country as a whole or my last name isn't Albright," the chief replied."

"Alright I'll hold you to that," sally said."

The chief cuffs Sonic.

"If all goes well, I shouldn't stay long," Sonic said."

Meanwhile, on angel island, Rouge and Nails are placing the master emerald on its altar, much to the confusion of Knuckles, Julie-su, Alucion, Tikal, Mighty, Matilda, Payback, and Ray.

"Alright, what the heck are you two playing at?" Knuckles asked."

"We thought you were going to steal the master emerald," Mighty said."

"I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered doing it. but we're not going to let innocent people die to save our mother," Rouge said as Nails nods in agreement."

"You still expect us to believe that?" Knuckles asked."

"What if they're telling the truth?" Ray asked."

"Ray has a good point," Alucion said."

"Don't believe them!" Knuckles said."

"Knuckles, I'm actually thinking their telling the truth," Julie-su said."

"I was fooled one, not going through that again," Knuckles said."

"Whether or not you believe us, we're putting the master emerald back and that's final," Nails said."

"Let's not be brash Knuckles," Tikal said."

"Tikal, Rouge and Nails tricked me before," Knuckles said."

"I'll be the judge of that," Tikal said."

She puts her hands on Rouge and Nails' head.

"What's she doing?" Matilda asked."

"She's using her powers to see if they're telling the truth," Alucion replied."

Tikal enters their heads, she sees a room full of mirrors and pictures of Rouge and Nails herself.

(Seeing pictures of Rouge and Nails) "Hmm. the room of this Mobian's soul is full of mirrors, meaning they're rather confident in themselves. (sees a picture of a young Rouge and Nails sitting on the lap of an older woman; the face of said woman is clawed out) this image shows a young and happier Rouge and Nails seated on the lap of an older woman who somewhat resembles them. I can only assume that the woman is their mother. Seeing that this picture is bigger than the other photos suggest that they treasure their bond with their mother. These tears indicate that their mother is indeed in danger," Tikal said."

Outside their heads, their own eyes start to water before Tikal. After they set the master emerald down on its proper place, they try to wipe the tears from their eyes as Tikal lets go of their heads.

"They are telling the truth," Tikal said."

(Internally) "I still have my suspicions, but since Tikal vouches for you, I'll let it go. But that doesn't mean I'm forgetting about my prior experience with them," Knuckles said."

"As long as you're willing to try," Tikal said."

"Where do we go from here?" Knuckles asked."

"Since we put the emerald back, Nails, Topaz, Payback and I will leave," Rouge said."

"Hold on. maybe there's a way we can help," Julie-su said."

"How?" Nails asked."

"Follow us," Julie-su replied."

They do so. Julie-su leads them to a vault that contains a slight smaller version of the master emerald.

"What's that?" Payback asked."

"It's an artificial master emerald. it can't landmasses float, but it still has the power to neutralize or enhance the chaos emeralds," Julie-su replied."

"We planned on using it to fool thieves trying to steal it," Alucion said."

"You think it'll help?" Topaz asked."

"Worth a try," Tikal replied."

"What do you think Rouge?" Nails asked."

"Well, the master emerald is the rarest thing on Mobius. very few have seen it. okay we'll take it," Rouge replied."

Cut to Eggman's base where a victory party is taking place.

"YIPPEE! We did it! We did it! That hedgehog's in the hoosegow thanks to you, Shadow, Terios, and Umbra!" Eggman said."

"He is practically busting his buttons," Decoe said."

"That jacket always was tight around the tummy," Bocoe said."

"Uh, what if Sonic escapes?" Scratch asked."

"Even if he does, these humans are too stupid to tell the difference between Sonic and Terios!" Eggman replied."

"That's great, boss! how do you want to celebrate?" Grounder asked."

"Remember, Doctor. You must still obtain five more Chaos Emeralds in order to use the Eclipse Cannon. But when you do, it will give you ultimate power and make you master of the universe," Shadow said."

"Sounds good to me! And now to hash out the rest of our dastardly strategy. Let's see…," Eggman said."

Bokkun comes in.

"Doctor, I have a message for you this time!" Bokkun said."

Bokkun tosses Eggman a Television Bomb containing a video recording from Rouge and Nails.

"Hiya, Doc. Long time, no see. my sister and I was wondering if we could get together to discuss a little business transaction," Rouge said."

"A business transaction?" Decoe said."

"I may not be the sharpest knife in the crayon box-," Grounder said."

(Interrupting) "The fact you said that proves it," Snively said."

"Aren't they working for G.U.N.?" Scratch asked."

"Probably," Eggette replied."

"I would not trust her, Doctor," Bocoe said."

"Who asked you, bolt-brain? Fetch them right away!" Eggman said."

"Yeah, they're already here," Bokkun said."

A beeping noise is heard emanating from the monitor.

"Uh-oh!" Decoe said."

"Here we go!" Bocoe said."

The monitor explodes and Bokkun laughs maniacally.

"That's not funny!" Eggman said."

"It's kind of funny," Snively snickered."

"Don't blame me! Lots of stuff on Television Bombs! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Bokkun said."

Rouge and Nails arrives with a bouquet of roses.

"I just hope this little scam of ours works," Rouge said."

"Me too," Nails said."

"EAUGH! I didn't expect you two so soon!" Eggman said."

"Good evening, Doctor. we have a little something we'd like to show you," Nails said."

Rouge pulls the blue Emerald out of the bouquet.

"A Chaos Emerald," Eggman said."

"It's all yours, Eggy, if you agree to our conditions. All you have to do is be a good boy and play nice and we'll tell you where the others are. What do you say, Doc, do we have a deal?" Rouge asked."

"That depends…," Eggman replied." What do you want?"

Shadow, Terios, and Umbra envisions Maria.

"Pleasure before business. Who's the charming friends of yours? I'm Rouge the Bat and this is my sister Nails. What are your names?" Rouge asked."

"It's Shadow. Shadow the Hedgehog," Shadow replied." This is my brother Terios and my sister Umbra."

"Oh!" Rouge said."

"Nice to meet you," Nails said."

(Looking at Rouge and Nails) 'I don't trust these two,' Umbra thought.'

At a dock, Chris, Aleena, Jules, Bernadette, Paulie, Brenda, Sally, Sonia, Manic, Nicky, and Tanaka board a ship.

"This matter is more serious than we realized." Aleena said."

"Um, I've been thinking, if this is a trap for the real culprit, won't our involvement be considered meddling?" Chris asked."

"Hope told us that Rouge and Nails notified Westwood that a trap's being set for Eggman and we're going to prison island to spring it," Aleena replied."

"Ok, but why am I going?" Chris asked."

"Because you need experience," Jules replied."

"Ok, I'll try my best," Chris said."

Meanwhile, Dulcy is flying near the X tornado with Rotor, Antonie, Bunnie, and Morain on her back. Tails, Renee, Tiara, and Amy are flying in the X Tornado.

"Keep going Tails!" Amy said."

"Calm down, Amy, we'll get there," Tails said."

"I know, but we still want to do our best to help," Amy said."

Sonic is in an underwater prison cell at Prison Island.

"What a day. Who'da thought I'd be thrown in jail for something I didn't do? I better think fast… Use my time wisely… And figure out who Shadow, Terios, and Umbra, are… And what they want.
