This didn't make any sense at all. Why would the very first human want to meet Lincoln in the first place? Were they going to kill him just by associating with demons and befriending them? It was it something else?
It was so serious that Zeezi had to call Charlie and Lucifer about this situation.
There was the King and the Princess, in the pub version of Zeezi's own hangout, and she was having a private conversation with both of them about the angels wanting to meet the white-haired boy personally. "shit," said Lucifer. "This is not good. Not good at all. Though, maybe that's an understatement?"
"The biggest fucking understatement in centuries." Zeezi exclaimed.
"Come on, the law says they can't hurt or kill anyone down here if it isn't Extermination Day." Charlie pointed. "Maybe I should go with him."
"No." said Lucifer, stopping his daughter before telling Lincoln. "It's too dangerous. And I don't wanna lose you like I lost your mother."
"but she's not dead, dad." The princess said. "She's-"
"I know where she is!" Lucifer exclaimed in an exasperated tone of voice. He realized his mistake and let out a sad sigh and bowed his head. "I'm sorry. It's just been hard for me when it come to your mother, Charlie."
"it's ok, daddy. But.. maybe you should go with him."
"She has a point, your highness." Zeezi pointed. "You are the king of everything down here, and... you are a fallen angel."
Lucifer was silent after that remark. "True, but what if he threatens my wife?"
"That big shot douchebag has to listen to you, your highness. If he won't, then at least show him who's boss, and remind him of the treaty."
"Well... I guess I can help accompany him to meet those fucking crazy angels." Lucifer sighed. "And Loona can probably come with me since she is the one to be in charge of him while he is visiting from Earth."
Meanwhile, Lincoln was feeling very scared in himself since he has heard rather dreadful things about those hypocrites called "angels" from Lucifer and his daughter. His heart was pounding like a drum about everything, but Loona and Clyde, as well as his other friends around him were there to try and support him and tell him everything will be okay.
"Look, it's probably not a big deal." said Loona
"Not a big deal?" Said Moxxie. "This is the leader of the Exorcists we're fucking talking about!"
"Moxxie." Millie scolded her husband. "Not helping out. Lincoln's probably scared shitless enough as it is."
"I'm not scared." Lincoln said. "I mean, I'm not as scared as many people would normally be about this. Besides, Heaven is still supposed to be a place of eternal happiness, right?"
"Well... yeah." Said Vortex, looking a little uncomfortable. "Granted, Heaven can be paradise, but... it can also be too much paradise."
"Yeah, it can get really boring from what I've heard." Said Crystal. "It might have a lot of excitement or fucking awesomeness to go around. Just singing songs about praising God or Jesus."
"My family, well- most of my family- will be there, except for my sister Lola. She can be pretty evil and might end up down here when she dies."
"I might now know her so much," said Loona, "but it wouldn't surprise me. She's spoiled enough to be evil."
"The point is," said Serena, "you might not like Heaven when you die and you'll wanna end up down here instead and fuck everything up."
"And fucking everything up can be so much fun" said Blitzo. "No fucking way Heaven is better than Hell!" Then he made a gasp of horror. "Shit, shit, shit, what if they don't allow heavy metal up there?"
"Yeah, that's the biggest problem in Heaven. Lack of rock and metal." Said Moxxie sarcastically with his arms crossed.
"Moxxie, I'm in no mood." Blitzo snarled at his number one employee.
"But you love insulting me, sir." The white-haired imp pointed
"Oh yeah, I always love fucking with you, but now is not a good time."
"Never thought i would say this, Blitzo, but..." Verosika felt like throwing up in her mouth. "But you're... you're..." she couldn't even have the guts to say that her ex-boyfriend was right about the situation. "Shit. You're not wrong, ok."
"Ooh, finally." Blitzo has a smug look on his face, pulling out his phone. "Thanks for the new song, Verosika."
"You recorded what I said?!" Verosika shrieked.
Katie couldn't help but snicker at this kind of moment. "He tricked you again." She jeered at her sister.
"Give me that phone!" Verosika tried to take the phone from Blitzo so she can delight it, but the imp is a very slippery one, like a lizard caught in someone's hands.
"Too slow, bitch!" Blitzo sang as he was still having his phone out of Verosika's grasping hands.
"Ok, Ok! Knock it off!" Vortex exclaimed. "This is getting us nowhere! Can't y'all see that we're in some deep shit right now?"
"Tex is right." Said Loona. "This is very serious."
"Look, what if I just tell them now is not the best time?" Lincoln suggested, "and meeting Adam being postponed for the different day?"
"Because one should never argue or fight with an angel." said Octavia.
"yeah, and Adam is one that always gets his own way. Like a pampered baby constantly demanding attention from his parent." Said Loona. "All in all, you have to meet him, Lincoln. Whatever the first human says goes. And he just never shuts the fuck up about himself." she sounded rather bitter about the first male human now.
"A self-centered egomaniac is what he is." Stolas sneered. "He probably even fellates himself when no one is looking."
"Whoa whoa whoa! Not in front of the kids." said Moxxie, covering Lincoln's ears and Millie covering Clyde's ears.
"Sorry. Got it from Blitzy."
"Liar." Blito pointed with his arms crossed.
It was just then Lucifer, Charlie, and Zeezi came back with worried looks on their faces. "Ok, people." said Charlie with a nervous smile on his face. "Lincoln will meet those Exorcists, but do not worry, i will accompany him to make sure he does not get hurt."
"Wait a minute, your highness." said Loona. "His parents told me to keep an eye on him since he is down here."
"No, they might turn you into a pelt." said Charlie
"So be it." Loona narrowed her eyes
"Oh enough already!" said an electronic voice that sounded like it was on a walkie-talkie or a... radio. Suddenly, the Radio Demon himself appeared out of nowhere with his signature cane and unnerving permanent smile. "Look, I honestly think both of you should go with Lincoln."
"Alastor?" said everyone in unison.
"In the flesh." said the Radio Demon. "Look, it sounds like you are reaching an impasse, and I fucking hate impasses!" he calmed himself down. "My apologies for losing my temper like that." then he cleared his throat. "I am a gentleman after all."
"You, a gentleman?" said Lucifer with his right eyebrow raised. "Don't make me laugh."
"Oh what, you're one to talk, Shorty." said Alastor.
"Stop fighting already!" said Charlie. "Can't you guys just get along for once?"
"He started it!" both the king of Hell and the Radio Demon pointed at one another like a pair of fighting siblings.
Charlie just looked at them in annoyance. "I don't care who started it! We got more important things to worry about, like how the Exorcists will treat Lincoln or what they even want from him in the first place."
Then Lucifer and Alastor realized that the princess was right, and the king pointed. "Very well. Lincoln, Loona, you may come with me to the Exorcist Tower. But, try not to speak unless spoken directly to when you meet them."
"That sounds fine." Lincoln sighed.
There is was, the Heaven Embassy, obviously standing out from the other buildings down here, looking shiny and majestic and not dilapidated in any way. Lincoln's heart was still racing as he, Loona, and Lucifer were in front of the embassy. Nevertheless, Lincoln knows how powerful angels are, and he knew he had to do this to get this over with.
"Well, here we are." Said Lucifer. "Everything will be fine, Lincoln. Just take a deep breath."
After Lincoln did just that before walking into the embassy. The atmosphere smelled rather nice compared to many parts of Hell, and it was pleasant.
"Ah, there's the human boy." Said one of the Exorcist angels. This one looked female by the shape of her body. "We have been waiting for you." Then she gave Lucifer a look of disdain. "It's been a while, Lucifer."
"Yeah, nice to see you too, Lute." Said Lucifer in a sarcastic tone of voice.
Then the female angel looked at Loona also with disdain, probably with more disdain than the king. "And who is the... dog?"
Loona let out a small growl. "She's a friend of mine."
"You don't deserve to know my name." Loona narrowed her eyes.
"Tch, typical hellhound behavior." Said the female Angel.
"Look, Loona is just looking out for me."
"Hmm. A demon caring about a human?" Said the Angel. "But come." The three of them followed the Angel on the elevator and stopped at the largest floor, which is the clock tower. "Here we are. Though I would like you too to stay out here while me and Adam have a talk with the boy alone."
"Ok." Lincoln still looked a little uncomfortable. "Don't worry guys, I'll be fine."
"Try to get out of there alive. Ok, Lincoln?"
The white-haired boy nodded his head with a smile. As he and the angel were walking down, Lincoln said, "you've been expecting me?"
"Oh yes." Said the Angel, looking back at him. "Me and Adam knew you would come here."
"Well, my name is-"
"I know. Lincoln Loud. Word of mouth spreads rapidly down here in this literal hellhole." She cleared her throat with her hands behind her back in a professional manner. "I am Lute. Second-in-command of the Exorcists, and Adam's personal assistant." She opened the large doors and there was an angel with golden clothing and looked mare.
"Ah, there is our man of the hour." Said the male angel with an amused look on his face. "Come. Sit down."
Lute walked up near the male Angel was and stood next to him on his right side as Lincoln took a seat.
It was silent for a brief moment and Lincoln awaited for a response from the Angel. "So, you're Lincoln Loud, eh?"
"Yes." Lincoln replied flatly. "And... you're Adam? The Adam?"
"Damn right!" Adam sang in a boisterous voice. "The very first cock every created, baby. And... is your hair a natural color?"
"Oh here we go." Lincoln thought to himself, feeling annoyed about his haired being questioned once again.
"Perhaps it's some sort of aging disorder." said Lute observantly.
"No, it's just a natural color. Take a look at Edgar Winter. He has white hair."
"No one's judging you, kid." said Adam. "Just curious."
"So... why am I here?" asked Lincoln
"I wanted to know why a human boy like you is down here in Hell. A boy like you doesn't belong down here. A good boy like you deserves to be in a place like Heaven. A place of fucking eternal paradise and not be with these evil cunts that committed sins against God."
"Wait, wait... believe it or not, I actually... kinda like it down here. Against my better judgement." Lincoln sounded a little nervous. "I know it sounds crazy, but i do like it."
"What?" the angels looked at one another and then back to him. "Come on now," said Lute. "One cannot enjoy Hell. It's supposed to be a land of eternal damnation, the polar opposite of Heaven. How can one possibly enjoy it?"
"Sometimes, you need a little chaos and excitement in life." said Lincoln. "And... are those faces even real?"
"Oh no, these badass masks are just to show how scary we are to sinner demons during Extermination Day." they pulled off their masks, revealing their human-like faces.
"Here. These are the real us." said Lute
"Oh. Well, i know it sounds crazy, but i made a lot of friends down here."
"Friends with demons?" said Adam before he began guffawing in a goofy way. "That's fucking rich! Being friends with demons is one of the most revolting things in existence. Demons don't have any friends." he wiped a tear from his eye.
"Well, i do have demon friends. One of them is named Loona, and she cares about me."
"You mean that Hellhound i just saw?" said Lute. "Come on. Demons only care about themselves, booze and killing as much people as they can."
"Look Lincoln, you don't belong here, you need to be in a place like heaven with good people." said Adam. "So come with me to the Promised Land and i will show you the way... when you die of course." he pulled out his guitar and began a melodic and amazing solo on it.
"Whoa, I didn't know you play guitar."
"Oh fuck yeah, Lincoln! This baby is my pride and joy! Rock n Roooooollll!" he exclaimed. "But anyway, you are coming with me. One way or Another."
"No wait!" Lincoln said, sounding panicky. "I don't want to lose my friends!"
"So you would chose eternal damnation over eternal paradise?" said Lute, sounding a little angry. "And believe that these scummy lowlifes are your friends? Get serious!" she pounded her right hand on the desk.
"Look, uh..." an idea appeared in Lincoln's head. "Adam!" the first man gave him a look saying that he was ready to listen to what Lincoln had to say next. "I challenge you to a rock off!"
The Exorcist leader looked rather surprised to hear that. "You challenge me to a rock-off?" he paused and guffawed some more. "That's just rich!"
"I'm serious!" Lincoln looked mad now
"Look, you wouldn't stand a chance against me, kid. So just back out while you still have a chance."
"No!" Lincoln shouted. "I challenge you!"
Lute looked surprised and said: "You're... you're serious about this? But what about seeing all your loved ones in Heaven when your time comes?"
"Look, from what i've heard, you're all a bunch of snooty hypocrites that look down on everyone like... like politicians!"
"How dare you talk to us that way!" Adam looked mad now.
"Look, i don't want to lose Loona, Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, or any of my friends down here! I do challenge you, Adam!"
"Hmph." this time, the first man was not laughing. "Very well. I'll amuse you by taking part of this challenge." he and Lute walked up to him menacingly. "But know this, you will regret what you have done."
Lute walked beside Lincoln and gently put her hands on his shoulders. "Yes. We didn't really want to do this, but you have signed your own death warrant, Lincoln Loud." the boy gulped in fear, probably realizing that she was right. Nonetheless, he wouldn't let his demon friends be insulted like this, and also realized that Lucifer and Charlie were right about angels being hypocritical and bad in their own way.
Later
"What?!" Loona exclaimed in pure shock. "Are you fucking crazy, Lincoln?! Challenging Adam to a rock-off? That is the most stupid thing you have ever done!"
"I couldn't let him insult you guys, my own friends. And besides, you know I have a good singing voice."
"Yeah, do you play guitar like he does?" Asked Moxxie, looking unamused
Lincoln was silent and just let out a nervous chuckle.
"That's what I thought." Said Moxxie with his arms crossed.
"do you have any idea what you have got yourself into?" Said Blitzo. "This is some pretty serious shit, Lincoln!"
"I can do this!"
"You'll be toast!" Said Millie. "Adam will destroy you!"
"You guys have seen how good I am with my singing, I have to try. If I back down, I'll look like a wuss."
"Well, it's been nice knowing you, Lincoln." Said Clyde, sounding like he was about to cry. "I'll never forget the time we became friends the first time we met."
"No, no, no, Clyde, I'm not dying." Said Lincoln. "It's just a challenge."
"Lincoln, there is still time to back down." Said Lucifer.
"Look..." said Loona, kneeling down and gently placing her hands on Lincoln's shoulders like a mother consoling her child. "Please, I... I don't want to lose you. And... I don't want you to get hurt." She had a pleading look on her face.
"I'm not dying. I'm not going to die, everyone. It's just that if I lose then I have to go to heaven before i do. And if I win, then I can come and go here as I please without any protest from Angels."
"you... actually care about him, Loona?" Said Moxxie
"What? Fuck no! I don't care about Lincoln! It's just that... he's a kid and... a kid shouldn't have to go through with this."
"So you do care." Said Millie with a smug look on her face.
Loona got mad. "Normally I would try and slit your throat for this, but we got bigger problems."
