Lincoln, Octavia, and Clyde were looking for the female Hellhound in the hospital, calling out Loona's name with no response after each call. Although, they were not Hellhounds, and didn't have a strong sense of smell like Hellhounds would have in them. "Don't worry, i have an idea." said Octavia. She used some kind of power with her eyes that helped her see through walls, and ultimately found her in a custodian's closet, sobbing and crying in the corner of the small room. "Found her. Follow me."
The white-haired boy was the one to knock on the door. "Loona? Are you in there?"
"Go away." Loona said, sounding like she was sobbing.
"Come on, just let us in." said Clyde
"I said go away!" Loona began to shout. "Leave me alone!" It was silent, and despite what the female hellhound said, the three went inside to find Loona in her crying position near a clean mop. She peaked her head up and showed the black tears from her makeup down her face, burying it in her legs again. "Oh why bother." she snivelled
Lincoln, and Octavia sat on one side of the female hellhound while Clyde sat on the other side, although he was a little afraid to see what Loona might do to him, given her bad temper. "Are you ok?" asked Lincoln.
"Oh what do you think, squirt?"
"No." Lincoln sighed
"Look, i get it, you made a mistake." said Octavia. "But honestly, your dad seems a little cool."
"Cool? Pfft, come on. He kills people but this is Hell, so it's kinda kill or be killed down here." Loona pointed.
"But Octavia told me that even demons have feelings." Clyde said. "And... I understand you're in pain right now."
"Oh what was your first clue." Loona sarcastically said.
"Sorry, I- I was just saying-"
"No, it's ok, Clyde. Of course I'm in pain."
Octavia looked at Lincoln and Clyde before back at her hellhound friend and said: "Loona, you would not believe how much my dad babies me a lot of times."
"He can't be worse than Blitzo, not saying he's my dad, but still. And honestly, I think your dad is cooler than Blitzo. At least he is from royalty and superpowers. All Blitzo has is a bunch of fucking guns, swords and flintlocks. He can't even afford a second bedroom for himself! And... I almost lost him back there."
"Look, he cares about you." Said Lincoln
"Oh yeah? Then whose fault is it that his pancreas fucking burst?" Loona looked mad now and bowed her head. "He's in here because of me."
"you're just mad and no family is perfect. I mean... you might not have twelve sisters like I do, but families can be chaotic."
"I never meant for this to happen."
"Well you didn't make Blitzo drink all that stuff." Clyde said
"Yeah but it's still my fault. I went to far so this is clearly my fault!"
"Loona, he still cares about you." Lincoln pointed. "Just give him some time."
"How can... how can I make it up to him at least?
"Lincoln's probably right." Said Octavia, "give him some time. Though you can try and give him the most thoughtful kind of gift you can think of."
"everything will be ok, Loona." said Lincoln. "I promise."
the female hellhound began to cry less tears and slowly stopped her sobbing. While she still felt guilty about everything, Loona realized that Blitzo will make a full recovery in the coming week or the week after.
Later
Clyde was about to go to Lincoln's house, and his Nana Gayle was visiting his grandson for a Dream Boat marathon on TV.
"Come on, mom." Said Harold, "I'll take you back to the nursing home."
"Thank you, Harold, you really are-" she suddenly paused and her right eye was twitching.
"Mom? You ok?" Harold noticed. There was no response from her. "Mom?"
What she responded with surprised everyone. She began making sounds like she was laughing maniacally and sputtering around and landing on the floor.
Clyde, and his two dads looked shocked to see what happened. Clyde checked her breathing next to his ear, but she wasn't breathing or moving.
"Oh my goodness!" Said Clyde. "Someone call nine-one-one!"
Howard was the one to call a paramedic on Nana Gayle and the ambulance arrived shortly. In the hospital. Poor Nana Gayle looked motionless. Clyde and his dads were right next to her. "What happened to her, Doctor?" Said Harold
"The autopsy shows that your mother has suffered a blood clot in the right side of her brain, causing an aneurysm in the process."
"Oh my god." Said Clyde. "Will she be ok?"
"Well there is no way of telling about a full recovery." The doctor told. "But we will do the best we can to help her out with what we can."
In Hell, Octavia was getting ready for her recital and was hasn't seen Clyde anywhere. With Blitzo temporarily out of action, he couldn't possibly get the Asmodean Crystal to work now. She put on her black unitard and waited patiently for Clyde, not knowing what just happened with him right now.
At home, Clyde was worried about his poor Nana in the hospital, and his dad's crying their eyes out, worrying for her as well. He felt like going to bed early and tried to move ok with the remainder of the day.
Eventually, Lincoln showed up almost an hour later and wondered why he hasn't shown up to his house yet. Howard explained to him the terrible thing that happened, shocking Lincoln.
Later on in the night, Clyde was fast asleep and it was two hours later that he had suddenly remembered what he was supposed to see earlier, jolting out of bed and quietly leaving the house to go get Lincoln.
Sneaking inside Lincoln's house, he moved his best friend to and fro on his bed to wake him up. "Lincoln!" He whispered. "I need your help!"
"What?" Lincoln sounded groggy.
"I was so caught up with Nana Gayle I forgot about Octavia and her play."
The white-haired boy gasped and jolted out of the covers. "Oh my gosh. I'll call Loona." He picked up his phone and did just that. "Loona, I know it's late, but... we got a problem. Please get. Us. Into. He'll. Now!"
"Alright alright just cool your jets, Lincoln." Luckily, she got Blitzo's crystal while he was in the hospital.
in the Goetia Manor
Clyde looked nervous and guilty about missing Octavia's performance. At last, Stolas came to the door, in his nightgown and said: "oh, what are you all doing here? It's-"
"Sorry to bother you, your majesty but I need to apologize to your daughter about me missing her play. Please! I'm sorry about this!" Without Stolas' approval, Clyde rushed inside the manor, up the stairs and saw Octavia, who was still in her unitard for some reason, probably because she was too sad to change clothes and she gave him a look of disdain.
"Hello, Clyde." She sternly said as she crossed her arms at him
"Octavia. I know I missed your play and I'm sorry, please, you gotta-"
"Sorry?" Octavia sounded angry. "I reserved you a special seat for you to watch me dance and you ignored it! You... you broke my heart, Clyde!"
