At last, the week was over, and Blitzo was recognized as ready to leave the hospital. The imp could hardly wait to get back home and relax, though he was still feeling angry to Loona over what happened. Before leaving however, the doctor strictly told him NOT to drink any more alcoholic beverages for a while as a reminder since he got discharged. Seeing how serious the doctor was, the imp gulped and promised to not drink any more alcohol (mostly). Blitzo was not really one to keep his promises so easily, being how sneaky he can be. As soon as he got out of the hospital, he was greeted by his cohorts, Loona, Lincoln, his sisters, Stolas and Octavia coming to greet him.
Loona looked rather happy to see him, and the imp felt himself being hugged tightly by Stolas, much to the discomfort of Blitzo. But alas, he was pretty much used to Stolas fawning over him. "Blitzy, I am so glad you are alright!"
"Dad." Octavia groaned. "You're embarrassing me again."
"Come on, Stolas." Blitzo grunted with an awkward smile. "I know this isn't the first fucking time you hugged me like a fucking cobra before, but come on! give my lungs some air."
"Oops! Sorry, Blitzy." Stolas chuckled nervously as he put his first friend down. "I'm just so happy you are alright."
"We all are, sir." Millie smiled.
"Yeah, and i see you're recovering fast, Blitzo." Moxxie smiled
"And I see you still need a better diet, you little sumo wrestler." Blitzo ruffled his friend's head.
Moxxie made a growl and exclaimed: "Why does everyone keep thinking i'm fat!? I have fucking told you people countless-" he took a breath before closing his eyes. "You know what? Why bother? I keep convincing Loona and you and a lot of people that I am as thin as a rake, but, i guess you can't convince a few people that the moon is not an oversized ice cube. Crumbs."
"Don't let it get to you, Mox." said Millie
"Yeah, there's no shame in being fat." Loona smirked
Moxxie rolled his eyes in annoyance at Loona's usual bullying.
"Are you feeling ok, Blitzo?" asked Leni
"Well, my chest still feels a little... tender, but i'll live. I've suffered worse pain, like the time i got pegged with-"
The sisters, Lincoln, and Clyde all made exclamations of disgust. "Stop! Stop!" Lori said. "Literally too descriptive."
"Yeah, you're gonna make us throw up if you describe more." Lynn said, "And i ate an extra hot cheese burrito this morning. Don't wanna throw it all up."
"Keep those thoughts to yourself." Luna pointed. "just thinking out it is enough to make me sick to my stomach."
"Sorry." Blitzo said before looking at Loona. The imp gave the female hellhound a disapproving look in a way. Loona gave him a sad frown after trying to look happy for her adopted father. "Loona," he flatly said to his adopted daughter.
"Hey, Blitzo." Loona sounded more awkward. "Do you... need a ride home or something?"
"Sure. Sounds good." Blitzo replied, still in a flat voice.
"Need a smoothie or an ice cream?"
"Nah, just need a ride home."
"Cool cool."
"Here, let me get you kids home." said Loona, pulling out the portal from the book to transport Lincoln, his sisters, and Clyde back to earth. Moxxie and Millie went back to their on apartment, and Loona was left alone with Blitzo... and Vortex as well since he is a good friend of Loona
"Uhhh, Stolas," said Loona, "Can i talk to you for a second?"
"Of course my dear, Loona. In private?"
"Please, and don't call me dear." she sounded rather bitter at the last part she said. Escorting Stolas away from his daughter, she pulled him behind a dumpster in an alley next door to the hospital, and Tex decided to go with her to see what was going on.
"Hey, Loo, is everything alright?" said the male hellhound.
"I'm fine, Tex." Loona replied. She then looked at the owl demon and said: "Ok, i can clearly see that Blitzo is still pissed at me." she whispered to him.
Stolas frowned at her. "Well, you did really hurt him internally."
"I know! I know." Loona facepalmed herself. "Should i just give him some space?"
"That would probably be best, Loona. Just leave him alone for a little while."
"And if you wanna give him an apology present, then give it a lot of thought. Think of something he loves so much." said Tex
"Got it, Tex. And Stolas... i'm sorry about everything. It's all my fault Blitzo get in there in the first place."
"Do not be so hard on yourself, Loona. If he wants a little distance, then just give him distance. And just be more nicer to him, alright? I know you two will patch things up some time. And... believe it or not, you are similar to Via."
Loona was silent and replied: "i... guess i am. Ok, maybe i can think of some gift for him."
"That is a good idea." They both got out from behind the dumpster and Loona said: "Ok Blitzo, ready when you are."
"Right." She drove off in the van with Blitzo riding in the backseat this time instead of shotgun.
It was a really windy day today in Royal Woods and Lincoln was going to give back Stella (his kind human friend), back the mini console he borrowed from her the other day after completing. Since it was windier than usual today, he decided to take his leather jacket that Loona gifted him before. Walking down a few blocks, he had passed a nearby ice cream parlor and felt something violent grab him and pull him behind an alleyway. It was a scary-looking man with a fur coat and an eye-patch over his right eye. "Can i help you?"
"That's a nice jacket you got there, kiddo?"
"Thanks? What about it?"
"Well, i want it, simple as that." said the scary man, holding his gun in front of the boy.
"I see where this is going." Lincoln gulped as he took off his leather jacket as he was forced to give it up to this mugger."
Smiling, the man walked away with it and said: "Thank you, pleasure doing business with you. And don't even think about following me."
