Today was the day of the Mushroom Kingdom Olympics, and everyone was getting ready for the event. "I can't believe we get to compete in the Mushroom Kingdom Olympics!", Lynn Jr said, as she is doing her sit-ups.

Lincoln, who was struggling while doing pushups said, "Yeah?", Lincoln said, "I'm already tired right now!". "Don't stop, boy!", Toad said, who was coaching the kids, "We need to look your fittest for the Olympics!". "But I'm tired, Toad!", Lincoln said.

"Well!", Bowser said, who was with Bowser Jr and Lola, "These two are doing chin-ups, and not complaining!". "Water, Dad!", Bowser Jr said with exhaustion, "Please!". "Yeah, please Bowser!", Lola said, "My arms are so tired!".

"Okay...", Bowser said with empathy, "You two can have a water break.". "Besides.", Mario said, who was with Lynn Jr, "I've handled sports before, so this would be a great competition". "Yeah,", Lynn Jr said, "And the winner gets a gold trophy!".

"Yeah,", Lola said, as she and Bowser Jr got done with their water break. "Besides.", Lola said, "Who's our challenger?". "Oh, nothing.", Mario said, "Just a friendly rival.". "Friendly?", Lucy said with disapproval, "I think you might have a grudge for this rival.".

"Nope.", Mario interrupted, "It's Sonic the Hedgehog. He's from the Green Hills, and is the fastest hedgehog of all time.". "Wait.", Lincoln asked, "Did you say the fastest of all time?". "Yeah,", Mario said, "But we are good sports.".

"Oh yeah,", Kamek interrupted, "I almost forgot... Sonic's team would also feature another supposed crossover, because we have Louds on our side.". "You didn't tell us that!", Bowser said, "And pray tell... who is these other athletes?".

"Oh, just a certain sponge.", Kamek said. "You don't mean...", Bowser Jr said, and Kamek told everyone the news. "So what you're telling me is that SpongeBob is going to be on Sonic's team?", everyone asked.

Soon, Sonic and his team appeared. "Hey, if it isn't Mario.", Sonic said, in a competitive tone. "Yep.", Mario said, "And me and my super crew will rise up the competition.". "Well, also meet my guest stars.", Sonic said, as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Sandy appeared.

"Well, I mean, you guys are from the same network.", Sonic said, addressing the Louds. "Yeah, to bring honor and glory to Green Hills, will be the best thing after the Krusty Krab!", SpongeBob said. "Okay, this might be an interesting Olympic event.", Luigi said with shock.

Now, the entire gang is in the stadium. "Welcome everyone, to another sporting event in the Mushroom Kingdom.", Toad said through an intercom, with Lisa beside him. "That's right, my fungal co-host.", she said, "We are here to witness sportsmanship in all sizes, and our teams are geared up and ready for the first event: The Disc Throw.".

"Participating for the Mario team...", Toad said, "Is Luan and Iggy!". "Oh, we get to throw these things!", Iggy said, and Luan added, "Yeah! I know.".

"And for the Sonic side...", Toad continues, "Tails and Sandy!". "Let the throwing commence!", Lisa announced. Sandy threw the discus, and it went 50 yards. "Okay,", Iggy said, "Watch out, because here comes a doozy.". Unfortunately, the disc went 23 yards.

"Okay, let's see if their partners can get the advantage!", Lisa announced. Luan threw the disc far, past the 40 yard line. bringing her score to 63. But Sonic's side won the event, with a score of 87, thanks to Tails scoring 37 extra points.

"Well, at least we have four more events.", Toad shouted, "It's anybody's game.". "The next event: The High-Dive!", Lisa announced. "Oh, I remember this!", Patrick said, as he goes to the diving board.

As he climbs up the ladder, Lincoln who was also participating said, "I can't believe I'm doing this.". Patrick did his dive, and it awed the crowd. "Yeah!", Patrick said with glee, noticing the judges scores, "I might win!".

Lincoln, who was nervous, only slipped on the diving board, however, he landed in the water with grace. "Oh well.", Patrick said, "Maybe next time.", as it was Mario's team that won.

"Next event!", Toad announced, "Is the 500-yard hurdle relay dash, on top of Yoshis!". Luigi was on a Yoshi with Lana waiting on the other side. Silver the Hedgehog was on a Yoshi as well, with Bubble Buddy waiting on the other side.

"On your marks! Get set! Go!", Lisa shouted, and the two are running through the race course and jumping hurdles. Luigi tripped, causing Silver to get in the lead, but Luigi soon sped up that he can reach Lana first, and she jumped on.

Soon, Bubble Buddy got on after Silver reached him, and the two Yoshis are heading towards the finish line. However, Lana's Yoshi is getting tired, causing Silver to win. "Well, looks like this will be a huge competition.", Toad said, as Lisa checked the scoreboard.

A montage soon played showing the contestants of each side competing in various events. As this happens, Lisa and Toad keep track of the score, until it was tied.

Soon, it was time for the final event, a tag team wrestling event between the two teams. Bowser Jr and Lola are on one side, while Patrick and Sonic are on the other side.

"Alright, the score is tied!", Toad said, with Lisa saying that this will be the crucial event that'll win the trophy. "Okay, son.", Bowser said, "This is your time to shine.". "Yeah,", Lola said, saying that she's only watching from the sidelines.

"Okay.", Junior said, as he is doing his punches. Soon the matched started and Sonic and Bowser Jr are rough toughing it out, as Lola watched while eating popcorn.

Junior and Sonic are duking it out now, as the little Koopa did an uppercut. However, Sonic dodges it. "Come on, Junior!", Lola cheered, "You can do it.".

Soon, Junior accidentally got knocked out. Everyone soon gasped in shock, and Lola panicked, as Patrick stepped in to bodyslam him. But then, Lola noticed Junior's Koopa clown car, and decides to fill in. "Whoa!", Toad said, "It looks like Lola is going to fight in a different angle.".

Lola is now piloting it, trying to make it balance. "I've never driven this before.", Lola said to herself, but she is determined to win. "Let's do this.", she said, as she and Patrick, who is in a muscular form, are arm wrestling. "It's pink vs pink!", Peach said, cheering for Lola.

Everyone soon watched the fight, as the two warriors in pink fight. There were only 3 minutes left on the clock, and the tension is building up. Lola was using the Clown Car to attack, but Patrick is shown to be so strong. "It looks like there might be a tie here.", Lincoln said, watching the match.

"Looks like time is almost up!", Lisa said, "5... 4... 3... 2... 1...", she counted, but then, Lola pressed a button, which causes the cannon to come out of the Clown Car, and blast Patrick into the wall.

"Lola wins the match!", Toad cheered, as she is now showing cheering. Later, Lola is with Bowser Jr, admiring the new trophy. "I can't believe I won this!", Lola said, saying that she wasn't really a natural. "I know, you used my Clown Car, and you seem to be good at using it.", Junior said.

"Yeah, I hope next year...", Lola said, "I hope we win again.", as she is carrying the trophy to the castle with pride.
