Team JNPR Taking the First Win
"Okay guys, this is it!" Nora grinned as she stands on top of a bench.
"We've been preparing our whole lives for the biggest thing that ever happens every year for all of Remnant to see and the four Hunter schools have gathered together to find out which of us trainee is the strongest in the world!" Nora twirled her hammer like a baton.
"All the training and preparations that got us to feel our bones breaking and our blood running like crazy that we can't stop ourselves from fighting on!" Nora smirked.
"And now… the time has come for us to give this fight everything we have and show Remnant how mighty we are in strength and friendship!" Nora declared as she held her hammer high toward the ceiling.
"Now I ask you this question… Are. You. READY TO FIGHT FOR OUR LIVES!" Nora roared with the sound of thunder happening in the background.
"Nora, do you really have to do a speech like that?" Ren asked.
He with Jaune and Pyrrha are all geared up and the team are standing in the middle of the hallway that leads them to the outside where the fighting stage is and where their first team opponent is waiting for them.
"I'm just trying to make this sound more dramatic." Nora shrugged.
"I'm a bit concern about that "Fight for our lives" part." Jaune said with the air quote fingers.
"Because we are!" Nora pointed out.
"I knew we shouldn't have let her watch that tragic sport coach movie." Pyrrha regretted that decision days ago now.
"Come on, aren't you guys excited for this?" Nora asked.
"Of course, we are, but we also gotta be focus and strong when we face our opponents, and we also have to put our teamwork to the extreme if we wanna make it to the next round." Jaune stated as he walks forward.
"Now come on, I think we kept our opponents waiting long enough." Jaune smiled with confidence.
The rest of his team knows that he is right, and they quickly follow him toward the fighting stage as the crowd cheers for the two teams to arrive for the next match, among them are Jaune's wives and Arc family. Emerald is also with them.
"Give them Hell, son!" Johnny cheered.
"But try not to get beaten up too badly! Scars are cool, but I don't want to see too many on you." Ares shouted.
"Ares Arc!" Hera gasped.
"What? It's not like you weren't thinking about that." Ares said. Hera wanted to argue with her sporty-muscle daughter, but soon realize that she is right.
"I'm surprised you're letting our little Adrian watch the fight. Whatever happened not letting him get involve with too much violet?" Saphron asked with a teasing grin.
"Well, it's not like we can just go back to Beacon right now, and I figured Adrian would want to see how awesome his uncle does in a fight." Terra proclaimed as Adrian giggles with excitement.
"And he is going to be so proud of him." Cinder smiled at the little baby then back to Jaune.
"Team JNPR of Beacon versus Team BRNZ of Shade!" Port announced.
"Okay, so these are our opponents." Jaune looked at Team BRNZ, trying to get a read of what his team is up against.
The leader is Brawnz Ni, a young man with dark purple eyes and short black hair that graduates to gray with his hair slicks toward his left. He wears a sleeveless top that graduated from gray to purple, a purple scarf, black pants with bronze kneecaps and a bronze buckled black belt and a dark purple scarf that wrapped around his right leg and black boots with studded strap detailing. He also has three black straps, one studded, on his left arm.
The second member is Roy Stallion, he's a dark-skinned young man with green eyes and brown hair styled in cornrow dreadlocks tips in gold clasps. He wears a green vest buckled closed on his left shoulder, over a black T-shirt and loose white pants rolled up to his knees. He also wears a pair of fingerless gloves with white armor pieces that are the holsters for his weapon and olive canvas sneakers.
The third member, his name is Nolan Porfirio, is a teenage boy with messy dark red hair and pink eyes. He wears a deep sky-blue jacket with a black hood and rolled up black sleeves, open over a white shirt with long, rolled up sleeves. A pair of sunglasses with pink lenses hang from his collar. He also wears a pair of ripped burgundy jeans, black shoes and black finger-less gloves.
Last member is a female named May Zedong, she is young girl with light tan skin, dusky rose hair and gray-blue eyes. She wears a red and white hoodie with blue tracksuit pants and a distinctive black beanie that covered her left eye. She also wears a large black scarf and red canvas sneakers.
"They don't look tough." Nora said.
"Don't underestimate them, Nora. They could be stronger than they look." Pyrra advised with her eyes narrowed at their opponents.
"Do you think Jaune's team will do well?" Ruby asked.
"I'm sure they got this with Pyrrha down there." Yang believed.
"Let us not forget that Jaune has also showed some important with his fighting skills, and he's also good with coming up with battle plans too." Blake pointed out.
"Get ready, the battle is about to begin." Ren said, ready with his bladed guns.
The battle stage have also started doing some changes with team JNPR's side being a tall mountain with thunder clouds and lightning bolts at the top, and team BRNZ getting the forest side with some of the trees being so tall.
"Show them what you're made of, honey!" Salem cheered.
(Music: Cosmic Castaway, Electrasy)
"3... 2... 1..." Port started the countdown.
"Come on, guys." Jaune smirked.
"Show them no mercy!" Cinder shouted.
"What the fire sister said!" Yin and Yang cheered as well.
"BEGIN!" Port and Oobleck shouted together as the match started.
Both teams started charging toward each other to begin their clash, all except for May who ran into the forest side holding her rifle gun as she gets ready until she found a good position.
Brawnz charges at Pyrrha with a knee strike on the shield and she stops a clawed-gauntlet strike with her sword, she can tell this guy is strong as she pushes him away from her.
Nora goes in to attack Nolan with a mighty swing of her hammer and he ducks down to dodge it while Ren gets himself ready to jump in to help.
May found a nice tree as she jumps with the hook part of her gun flips herself onto the branch and starts aiming at her targets, then made two warning shots that almost hit Ren to tell them she is going to shoot them down.
Jaune manages to block a spinning lariat attack from Roy and his buzzsaw gauntlets then thrust his sword forward to force Roy to dodge and jump back, and Jaune saw a bullet fly past him.
Jaune looks over to the forest side trying to see where the shot came from until he sees a small shining light coming from one of the trees and spotted May clearly having the advantage.
"Damn it, retreat!" Jaune shouted.
Team JNPR quickly go over to their mountain side to find some cover behind some large rocks.
"What do we do?" Pyrrha asked.
Jaune looks over from the rocks seeing three of Team BRNZ charging at them while May using the distance to help cover for her teammates.
"Spread out, try to keep moving and don't stop moving even when you're fighting." Jaune ordered that should give them some more time until he comes up with a plan.
Jaune face off against Brawnz as he blocks a punch with the shield and threw a spin kick straight on the stomach to send him a few feet back, the Arc Knight quickly use that small window of opportunity to strike forcing his opponent to go on the defense.
May jumps over to another tree branch and aims her rifle gun at the guy with the green outfit where Nolan is facing him.
"Looks like Ren is gonna be at a disadvantage." Cinder feared.
May fired a shot which forces Ren to dodge giving Nolan the opening to come in and attack with a whack on the head, Ren tries to fight back with a roundhouse kick but Nolan ducks down and strike at his left leg and hit the stomach with his baton that let out electric shocks on the green ninja knocking him down.
"Ren!" Nora gasped and jumped at Nolan to get revenge for Ren.
The angry Nora charges in to strike only for Nolan to dodge and attack Nora to electrocute her down.
"Oh, big mistake there." Emerald chuckled.
"What do you mean by that?" Robin asked.
"Let just say lightning is a good diet for Nora." Emerald hinted.
Nola becomes surprised to see that Nora doesn't appear to be hurt from his electric baton and just grinning down at him.
"Oh-ho! Looks like one of my favorite students, Nora Valkyrie, is charging up to use her Semblance!" Port smirked.
"What?" Nolan asked, panicking a little.
"Yes, Ms. Valkyrie's Semblance lets her produce, as well as channel, electrical energy straight to her muscles! This allows her to jump explosively into the air, wield her mighty hammer, or in this case, absorb Nolan's attacks and send the young man flying!" Oobleck explained.
"What?!" Nolan freaked out now.
And freaking out was all Nolan could do as Nora flexes her muscles letting the pink electricity covering her body and she zooms closer to Nolan right at the lower part and hit him so hard that was went crashing through a large rock on the forest side and can feel his family jewels hurting so much.
"(Wait, lightning. That's it!)" Jaune thought hatched a plan as he looks over the mountain top with the thunderclouds.
"Nora! Get to the mountain!" Jaune ordered.
"You got it!" Nora excitedly and zooms on over to the mountain to start climbing.
"Ren! Try and distract the sniper! Use you agility to move and jump around to give her a hard time to aim." Jaune ordered to Ren.
"Sure, why not." Ren said almost sarcastically, but really thinks this plan will work before charging.
"Pyrrha, we're keeping those two busy while one of them is down!" Jaune called out.
"Of course!" Pyrrha nodded.
Roy throws his buzzsaws at Jaune who blocks them with his shield while still charging at the same time then tackles him away when the buzzsaws came back to him, Jaune started clashing his sword against the buzzsaw user and landed two slashes on Roy in a cross.
"Did you see that? He just did a cross slash, one of my favorite slashing moves!" Ares smiled.
"Jaune has certainly come a long way, hasn't he?" Hera asked her husband.
"Yeah, he sure has." Johnny nodded, now feeling proud for Jaune going off to Beacon.
Ren kept moving from left to right in a speedy wiggling movements confusing May as she tries to shoot him down, but she kept missing and Ren fires some of his bullets at May.
Nolan got back up and see Ren coming in closer to attack May, he comes in to intercept the guy who fires some shots and the two started clashing their weapons.
Ren holds up the baton and threw one kick on each side to make Nolan in pain enough to loosen his muscles and use the baton against him to hold Nolan in place as a hostage.
"If you can't overwhelm your opponent, use their companions as hostages to force them to back off." Cinder stated.
"Such is a cruel thing that some people would do in any dark and bad situations." Einey sighed.
May couldn't risk shooting Ren if she could accidentally hurt Nolan in that position, so she moved her aim and spotted Nora still climbing up the mountain.
"Nora!" Ren worried.
Jaune holds off Brawnz in a struggle of strength, he quickly turns around to see Nora is so close to the top though it won't be much if she gets shot down.
"Pyrrha, up!" Jaune called out.
Jaune quickly threw a strong headbutt on Brawnz's face then jump for a double kick on the face to force him down and an instant backflip to get in position to throw Pyrrha into the air.
"YEAH! Did you see that kicking flip? I taught him that!" Cinder cheered with a smirk as her eyes glow fiercely of her Maiden power.
"Dang, where was all that energy when we exercised together?" Ares asked, proud of her brother.
"I think Jaune might actually beat you in a sparring match." Saphron grinned.
Pyrrha jumps from Jaune's shield with a boost from her husband to intercept the shooting path of May's bullet.
Nora reached the top of the mountain and held up her hammer for the lightning bolts to zap down onto the carrot head girl, giving her tons of electric strength and power into her body and switched her weapon into the grenade launcher mode and six at May as they somehow form into a pink heart cloud of death.
A bit pink explosion erupts on the tree destroying it almost completely, May was able to jump out of the way in time though the smoke was too much for her as she jumps back to ground level.
But Nora isn't done, she jumps high from the mountain and holds her hammer high coming down like a pink comet of destruction and slams down her hammer that creates a strong shockwave blowing the three boys of Team BRNZ away and crashing close to May.
"This is it, guys! Let's finish 'em with team attacks! Ren! Nora! Flower Power!" Jaune commanded.
"Wait, what?" Nora confused.
(Music End)
Jaune is shocked to hear that Nora has no idea what he is talking about and turns around to also see that Ren is also confused while Pyrrha just whistles innocently.
"F-Flower Power. That's your team attack name!" Jaune said.
"Since when?" Ren asked.
"Guys, we've been over this! Flower Power is Ren and Nora! Ren brings the flower, Nora brings the power!" Jaune tried to explain the reason for the name while failing to realize that Team BRNZ just got back up and getting ready to attack them again.
"How do I bring a flower?" Ren puzzled while scratching the back of his head with one of his guns.
"No, silly, not a flower! Flour, like in baking!" Nora pointed out, completely missing the point of the conversation.
"Why would I bring that?" Ren asked, believing that makes no sense.
"I- Uh- No, it's your symbol!" Jaune said.
"Since we're talking about names, I must confess that I… didn't like the name Arkos when we first found out that we wed." Pyrrha confessed.
"What… Pyrrha!" Jaune gasped.
"I'm sorry! It just didn't seem to fit with the love life I had in mind with you at first, but then I started to like the name the more we're together and while it may not sound anything impressive and more like a child making up stupid words. I now find it divine for the both of us." Pyrrha explained and kissed him on the lips.
"Okay, I'm glad you see it that way, but did you have to say it's childish?" Jaune asked, feeling a little hurt.
"That was a comment from Emerald." Pyrrha revealed.
"Too bad her hair doesn't smell minty." Nora shrugged.
"Hey!" Brawnz shouted, getting Team JNPR's attention.
"What do you think you're doing!?" Brawnz asked.
"Trying to have a team meeting, thank you very little!" Jaune answered a little harshly.
"Yeah! Team ears only!" Nora said pointing at her ears which only seem to upset Team BRNZ a bit more.
"WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT!" Brawnz shouted.
"AND WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION! WHAT DON'T YOU GET ABOUT THAT!?" Jaune shouted in rage.
"Um, Jaune?" Pyrrha said.
"Yes, Pyrrha." Jaune responded.
"I think that he means that we're all in the middle of a fight." Pyrrha pointed out as the sound of the crowds cheering and shouting returns to Jaune's ears.
"Reminds me of you when we fought like that." Johnny chuckled.
"I was hoping Jaune wouldn't have to go through that too." Hera exclaimed.
"Sometimes even the unexpected things can happen in the middle of a battle." Salem commented.
"Nora, just... hit them with the hammer." Jaune sighed as he facepalmed on his sword.
"Got it." Nora grinned scary which scares Team BRNZ.
But Nora moved faster before they could react and swing her hammer so hard on all four that she sent them flying right out of the battle stage and crashes onto the forcefield causing a major ring out.
"And with that, it appears Team JNPR wins by knockout, literally! ...Can someone go make sure they're okay?" Port announced.
"Come on, let's head back. I can already hear Ares and the twins never going to let this down." Jaune said as they leave the stage.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
As you see, I skipped the Team RWBY battle as we know how that went and we're more focused on Jaune's team since this is his story with his wives. And he did a lot better in the fight than in the anime and came out swinging literally with Nora dealing the final blow on them.
