School Idol Ground Assault

After some good days during the last sortie, Trigger, Nozomi, Mia and Shizuku are on a karaoke bar at the Sansaoban Air Base.
Trigger just finished her singing training, with the help of Mia and Shizuku, now they test Alexandra's music voice on a karaoke spot inside the base.
Trigger: Oh, I hope that I get a good score on that song of yours, Mia!
Mia: It won't be a problem!
Karaoke score: 87!
Alexandra: 87 points! Not bad!
Mia: Great job, Alexa!
Alexandra: Although, it have to be a bit better if I keep up that music note.
Shizuku: It would be not always perfect, Alexandra.
Nozomi: We have been training all this time on school.
Alexandra: Are you sure? I have to be at my level if I gonna be a School Idol Ace.
Mia: Indeed.
Then the announcer radio calls up.
Announcer: Attention, Attention, Will Lily White, Shizuku, Ayumu and Mia report to the briefing room? We have a sortie today.
Alexandra: Guess we have a sortie girls, suit up and report to the briefing room, we have an new mission.
Nozomi, Shizuku and Mia, Roger that!
A few minutes later, after suiting up the pilot suits...
Trigger: All right, what will be our next mission today?
Clown: This will be important, Trigger. So you and the girls will have to listen up.

Satsuma Briefing Officer: Well, then prepare along with Lily White, Ayumu, Shizuka and Mia for a major air strike on the ground. The Spare Squadron will get some expected losses, but we are not going to lose our friends from attacks. Hit the base hard so that they will never recover. Good luck out there.
After the briefing...
Trigger: Okay, Roca Roja will be our next assault. This is gonna be a good one!
Mia: You sounded pretty excited, Alexa!
Trigger: I am. And it's a large one.
Mia: I agree.
Trigger: Oh, and Mia?
Mia: Yes?
Trigger: If there are drones coming at us, pull out. I'll cover the fall back on the planes with ground missiles.
Umi: Do not worry, Trigger. We are in this one together.
After taking off from Sansaoban Base, Trigger, Lily White, Auymu, Shizuku and Mia, are heading now towards Roca Roja, Spare Squadron is also on the way, and they are not happy what Bandog will bite them.

After arriving in Roca Roja, AWACS Hachinodate is pretty optimistic how the mission will progress.
Hachinodate: It's gonna be a nice evening today. Don't you think so?
Mia: This is good place to watch the sun goes down.
Umi: Hachinodate, we are in visual on the enemy base, the Spare Squadron is here too.
Hachinodate: Good, I'll contact Bandog.
After the radio frequencies are connecting the 2 AWACS aircraft...
Hachinodate: Bandog, are you there?
Bandog picks it up.
Bandog: Some welcome we have. Who's calling this?
Hachinodate: This is AWACS Hachinodate of the Satsuma Air Force, Let's launch a joint attack on the bases.
Bandog: Wait, I know you! You're the one who led the Spare Squadron while I was busy to reconnect the comms from our commander!
Hachinodate: Indeed.
Bandog: And I see that you have some fighter planes along with you. One of them is a Osean pilot who was acquitted for the murder, am I not?
Trigger: You got that right!
Bandog: So you girls on that air division has taken her before we got her.
Hachinodate: That's right.
Bandog: But wait, you are the ones who als took an airbase close to us?
Hachinodate: It's was abandoned and we reactivated it, and refurbished.
Bandog: Oh, that.
But with you around, isn't the country at war though?
Hachinodate: Technically not. We are fighting an secret war with Erusea.
Bandog: Oh. That. I will not inform you on your involvement.
Hachinodate: It's however, notified. Our Intelligence Agencies haved asked us to take part a year ago.
Bandog: Wait. The SBI and the OIA? So that's how you girls went to operate in secret while we are taking the main course! And now you have Trigger on your side, we might have a chance.
Hachinodate: Correct. We are approaching the area now. Begin operation.
Bandog: Oh, right! Spare Squadron. Spread out and attack.
Hachinodate: All School Idol aircraft, begin with the assault.
Trigger: Understood!
School Idols: わかった!/Wakatta/Got it!
Count: We're clear to attack, right? I heard the regular forces were going to clean things up.
Champ: It's just like before. We blow the place outta everything.
Bandog: Sharp as a tack, aren't you, Spare 8?
Regular forces can reduce losses if you tenderize the base first.
If you can't handle that, Spare Squadron, just fly and be a target. No offense to you, girls.
Count chuckles.
Hachinodate: That won't be taken.
As they approach the enemy air base, Lily White leader Umi commands this order.
Umi: Trigger, you, Mia and Ayumu, launch a combined attack. Fire the LAGM's!
Trigger: Roger that, Lily White 1.
Fire the LAGM's!
Ayumu/Mia: Fire the LAGMs!
Trigger, Ayumu and Mia fired the LAGMs off the enemy base and several units were hit and destroyed immediately.
Trigger: It looks like we kicked off the game! Game on!
Erusean Ground Unit: We are being attacked! Enemy aircraft! Two squadrons!
Ready the anti-air interceptors! Open fire!
Affirmative! We'll do what we can.
Full Band see also at the enemy base…
Full Band: Look, bombers! Must be the guys who got to our base.
Nozomi: It seems to be like that, I'll take them!
Hachinodate: Some of them did. Lily 2. Hit 'em. Don't let 'em take off.
Nozomi: Got it.
Hachinodate: Rin, transport trucks are spotted. They are not much of a threat, but loaded with something, let's give them a claw of destruction. Cats have claws, after all.

Champ: Leave some for me. Bullying the weak is a kind of specialty of mine.
High Roller: What are the odds of getting out alive?!

Bandog: If any of you die too fast, Spare Squadron, you won't even be useful as targets.
Rin had taken out the trucks.
Hachinodate: Carry on, Rin. The vehicles have been taken out. Get to the next target.
Rin: I'm on it.
Trigger took another bomber down before it could take off.
Count: You're our official flyswatter now, even when you're in a different unit, Trigger.
Trigger: Why thank you, Sir Count.
Spare Squadron Member: Target confirmed destroyed. Trigger again!
Umi: She knows how to eliminate the enemy better.
Champ: Trigger, you rockin' it hard.
Bandog: Cut the words and leave her doing her job. There's work to do.
Any regular aircraft that joined the later needing any repairs of ammo will fly over to the return line. However, Spare Squadron will not have that luxury.
Full Band: So, what're we supposed to do?
Bandog: Fly until your ammo runs out.
Hachinodate: Lucky for us, and you, Trigger. You and the School Idols are a special unit. You girls are allowed to repair and rearm for your next attack, or you can switch your ammo.
Trigger: It might not be needed, but I have to do what needs to be done, the rearming will have to wait.
Hachinodate: I understand, but sometimes, it is needed just in case. Aircraft sometimes need to eat and drink in order to be effective.
Trigger: Ehh. Aircraft don't eat, Hachinodate.
Champ: All bombers destroyed before takeoff! Who did that?
School Idols and Trigger: We did that!
Hachinodate: That was fast. Nice work, girls!
Count: Righto.
As the School Idols and Trigger fly to the next area to attack, Count called…
Count: I'm out. Returning to supply.
Full Band: How are we supposed to work without ammo? I'm heading back.
Bandog: Nice try. But it's only for the Special units. This stuff isn't for you guys.
Did I tell you what I'm saying, Hachinodate?
Hachinodate: Yes, but we are a special unit of the air force, we need all the help and ammo we could get.
Count: Let's be honest here. Irregulars like us aren't allowed to resupply.

Bandog: *sigh* You're gonna wish this mission never ended.
Tabloid: Looks like Bandog's finally come round.
Trigger: Taking out some enemy warehouses. Nozomi, take the bridge!
Nozomi: Got it, Trigger.
Trigger and Nozomi destroyed the bridge, enemy units and the warehouses.
Hachinodate: Enemy hostiles in our are almost wiped out.
Bandog: School Idols, Trigger. Try to attack a more crowded area. Try there to catch more lead.
Rin: Enemy Anti-air vehicle taken out.
Shizuku: All right, I got another one!
Tabloid: I finally have a read on the targets. They're in one hell at a place.
Count: I'll take it from here.
Shizuku: Firing!
Shizuku fired a missile on an another warehouse, and exploded later.
Full Band: Osaka has taken out one of the AA guns!
Count: You're giving me another shot? Must be my lucky day.
Hachinodate: Trigger, School Idols. This enemy base is divided in three sections.
Search and destroy the bases there.
Trigger: Osaka, we'll take the eastern one. Ayumu, take Rin and eliminate the south one.
Ayumu, Shizuku and Rin: Okay.
Umi: Wow, Trigger, you are getting the hang of it by commanding a unit.
Trigger: Ah, it's just a little beginning.
Bandog: Why're you acting like some bigshot, Count? You did little.
Full Band: Ha ha! Trigger and the School Idols are doing all of the work.
Bandog: Girls, save and give some for us to destroy. And why're you so proud of that, Full Band?
Full Band: Simple, She and her divisions she works at are wrecking everything. So she and her teams are the spearhead.
Bandog: Yeah, but they are not regular, they are a special unit. A special type of pilots.
Full Band: This base uses its surroundings.
Umi: Excellent observation. Mia, eliminate the enemy units that are high up on the rocks.
Mia: You got it!
Tabloid: You're good.
As the Spare Squadron, School Idols and Trigger continue to destroy the targets, Bandog asks something on Hachinodate.
Bandog: Hachinodate, I want to ask something about R3BIRTH 3.
Hachinodate: Go on.
Bandog: Is she a Satsuman, or a Osean?
Hachinodate: She was born from Satsuma, but moved to Osea as a baby. And after 11 years. She returned to Satsuma.

Bandog: Maybe you guys need to cool your heads off in solitary.
While Trigger and the School Idols head for the next area, Full Band continues to talk.
Full Band: Let me look into this "doctrine" thing.
Spare 5: Man, you're delusional.
Full Band: A bribe is all ya need to look into a terminal.
It's amazing how many people write their password on a note by their desk.
Gathering intel is all about getting access.
While Full Band is talking about access, Rin took out the last trucks.
Rin: All trucks destroyed-nya!
Bandog: Eh, Hachinodate. Why is Lily 3 talking like a cat? Does she own one?
Hachinodate: No. But it's her own habit of words. And she is actually allergic to cats.
Bandog: Strange. Anyway, more hostile units in our AO.
Mia: Already on it!
Mia fired her anti-ground missiles and hit the enemy APCs, as well alongside the others.
Mia: Got 'em.
Hachinodate: Good. Now return with the others, Mia. Enemy base dead ahead.
Tabloid: Damn it. We can't do this from the sky. We need ground troops for this one.
Bandog: Spare 11, just do your job.
Champ: Just give us a bomb big enough to blow the area!
Bandog: No can do.
Hachinodate: Just working together will succeed if you destroy the base.
While saying that, Umi, Mia and Trigger fired some LAGM's on the enemy units on the ground, which destroyed several targets.
Lily 1, 4 and Mia destroyed the enemy facility, while everyone else was sleeping.
High Roller: Those School Idols have done it again!
I'm going to have to rethink my odds.
The School Idols and Trigger continued their attack on the base, as relentless their assault is.
Erusean Ground Unit:
The anti-air units are hit hard!
Our air defense capabilities are compromised!
Just grab whatever you can and return fire!
Erusean Fighter: They took a bite out of me! Breaking!
I've taken damage, but I'm good to go.
Bandit evaded the attack. Trying again!
Bandog: Watch your six!
Then Trigger sees something.
Trigger: Lily 1, I'm going to fly in a tunnel, maybe I can clear out the enemy from there!
Umi: Go for it.
Trigger flies into the tunnel.
Bandog: Trigger crashed! Drooling idiot!
Spare 4: No, he flew into the tunnel! He's crazy!
Mia: Not exactly. It's a trick in a book about how an ace pilot flies.
Bandog: Is that true?
Mia: Of course it is.
Bandog: I see. I judged you too early, Trigger. Sorry.
Bandog: More guests on the horizon. Keep up the attack.
While Spare, Lily White, Azuna, Mia and Trigger smash the last base to bits, Bandog tells this.
Bandog: You've done a fair amount of work to their ground units, but I see some of you still have some ammo.
Continue with the attack. Spare Squadron, Keep yourself nice and exposed till I say otherwise.
Hachinodate, if you want your girls to change their ammo, now it's the time.
Hachinodate: I sent that order already to Umi.
Umi: We hit the ground hard enough, Mia, Shizuku. Your task is done. Head back to base. Trigger, Rin and Ayumu. Go back to base and change to the anti air missiles. We need all the help we can get.
Mia: Copy that.
Shizuku: Understood. Going home.
Trigger: Lily 4 copies. Going back to base to change the missile type.
Mia, Ayumu, Shizuka, Rin and Trigger returned to base. Many minutes later...
SATC: Lily White 4, You are cleared to land.
Make a visual landing check.
Trigger: Understood.
As Trigger landed.
SATC: Good, we'll take the LAGM's off your aircraft. It'll take some time.
Trigger: Good. I'll drink some water and go immediately back to the AO. Enemy air units come very soon.
After some 6 minutes, Trigger took up her bottle of water and later gave it back to the flight maintenance crew member.
Trigger: Okay, Tracking All Aspect missiles are fitted. I'm good to go!
And while Ayumu and Rin took off with some Tracking Special Missile equipment...
Trigger is next after refueling.
SATC: Lily White 4: You are cleared for take off.
Trigger: Here goes.
Trigger accelerated her aircraft and took off.
SATC: Lily 4, altitude restrictions are lifted. Good luck up there.
Back in Roca Roja...
Trigger: We're back in the AO, Lily 1.
Umi: Good. We need you here right now.
Hachinodate: Aircraft approaching at high speed! Bearing 280!
Trigger: Here they come!
A group of aircraft approaches the Roca Roja air space.
Bandog: They're drones!
Full Band: These must be the infamous drones!
Spare 13: They can dogfight without pilots?
Champ: Machines are not replacing humans.
Bandog: Calm down. They're just obstacles in your way.
Umi: Trigger, have you fought with them before?
Trigger: I did.
Umi: Okay, all girls of our squad and Trigger. Let's take these drones out.
Hachinodate: Good luck taking out these drones!
The Spare Squadron will take over the ground mission.
Full Band: It's bad enough just dealing with the surface! Damn!
Did the Jailer know about the drone attack storm he was sending us into?
Tabloid: Penal units are just pawns.
Champ: That lying little!
Bandog: Don't pretend that you deserve any better, Spare Squadron! Continue with the operation!
Never thought I'd say this, but you're doing a hell of a job, Spare Squadron, School Idol Air Division.
Count: Adulation from the guard dog. I'm touched.
Bandog: Don't make me take it back. Eradicate the rest of 'em.
While Bandog is saying that, Trigger and Lily White and Ayumu are fighting the drones while evading the drone attack.
Trigger shot the first drone down.
Trigger: You see now, School Idols. I have some experience defeating them.
Tabloid: Great shot! Keep it up!
While the School Idol Air Division is fighting the drones, some of them attack the Spare Squadron. The drones got a hit on High Roller.
High Roller: This is Spare 7. Someone get this enemy off my tail!
Count: I can't! I've got my hands full too!
Spare 9: High Roller, missile! Shake it off!
High Roller tried to evade but got ultimately hit.
High Roller: Damn! I'm hit! I'm still at the table!
Tabloid: High Roller! Missile! Another one!
High Roller: I've got a bet on me getting out of this–
*communication offline*
Spare 7 aka High Roller is ultimately shot down and killed.
Champ: Hey! Someone's down! Who is it?!
Tabloid: It's High Roller! He's been taken out!
Bandog: Spare Squadron! Don't piss your pants over one aircraft being down.
Erusean Fighter: Get them while they're looking below.
Trigger already took 3 drones out, while Ayumu took down 1, Umi downed 2, Nozomi and Rin also 1.
Tabloid: Great work, School Idols! That's 5 or 7 drones down!
Count: I shot down 6.
Bandog: Don't be stupid, you're still on 2. They have more.
Count: Hey, are you sure your radar's working right?
Bandog: Don't be ridiculous, Count.
Full Band: What happens to a bet when the banker's out?

Another Spare member was shot down by the drones.
Tabloid: Another man down!

Another Spare Squadron member is shot down and killed.
Champ: This isn't even a fight. You wanna lose all your pilots?
Bandog: Shut up, Champ!

Hachinodate: Hold tight, Lily White and Ayumu. Shioriko is already on her way to join you.
Umi: Lily 1 copies. ETA?
Hachinodate: 15 seconds!
15 minutes ago...
Shioriko heard the news of the drone attack and prepares for take off to assist Lily White and Ayumu.
Shioriko: Okay, I can't be late for them. The drones must be stopped according to the intel of Hachinodate.
SATC: R3BIRTH 1, you're cleared for takeoff. Go now!
Shioriko: Okay! Taking off now!
Shioriko's F-22A accelerated and took off.
SATC: R3BIRTH 1, altitude restrictions are removed. Good luck out there!
15 minutes later after Shioriko took off...
Shioriko arrived just 15 seconds later...
Shioriko: I have arrived, girls!
Ayumu: Shioriko-chan! Are you joining the fun?

The tracking missile shot another Erusean MQ Drone down.
Tabloid: That's 8 down! You girls hit more than a solo ace does!

Stick with the best if you want to survive.
Full Band: If anyone wants to die, let 'em.
Count: Poor decision on your part. I've still got a top score.
Tabloid: Count? Man, you're useless.
Champ: Everyone knows you inflate your numbers.
After arriving, Shioriko took down another Erusean Fighter up close.
Bandog: Enemy base is crippled. All squadrons, that's enough.
School Idol Squadrons. Continue the battle against the drones. And who is in that F-22A?
Hachinodate: That's the Air Commander of the reactivated Sansaoban Air Base. Shioriko Mifune.
Ayumu: Our Student Council President and Air Commander of the base.
Bandog: A Air Commander of the base? But why did she leave the base while she was commanding?
Hachinodate: Well, she also takes on the flight and tactical command operation on the way too.
Bandog: Oh. That's why.
Anyway, R3BIRTH 1, join with your friends alongside your air division. Welcome to the battle.
Spare Squadron, go find some enemies that can kill you.
Hachinodate: 5 minutes remaining! Shioriko, get some scores on the Erusean aircraft!

Erusean Fighter: Negative. I'm going after the bastards that attacked us.
Missile fired! Evading!
Shioriko shot another fighter down and eliminated another drone.
Bandog: Engage or face punishment, Spare Squadron.
Champ: Keep yappin' away, little guard dog!

With Lily White, Ayumu and Shioriko keep on fighting the enemy aircraft and drones along some of the Spare Squadron, Count then realized something.
Count: Looks like we're the only ones having fun out here.
Trigger, whoever gets the highest score, wins.
Let's settle this once and for all.
Tabloid: Just ignore him, Trigger.
Trigger: Don't worry, Tabloid. I have my own way to do what it takes.
Tabloid: Trigger and the girls are cleaning up! That's 10 drones down!
Too low and you'll get fired on the ground. Stay cautious!
Hachinodate: Ayumu! Enemy got a lock on you!
Ayumu: Breaking from the enemy's lock!
Ayumu pulled a cobra maneuver.
Trigger: Wow!
And later, Ayumu took out the fighter who targeted her.
Shioriko: One down! Good one, Ayumu!
An F-14D with the name Kitten appeared.
Rin: Hachinodate, an enemy ace named Kitten is here in the area!
Hachinodate: I see it! Rin, you take that aircraft out! Let's see who wins, the Kitten or the Cat!
Bandog: Aren't cats and kittens the same?
Hachinodate: A cat is bigger and a kitten is smaller.
Bandog: Oh. Let's watch this one.
Rin's F-35C is on her cross hairs and fires the tracking long range missile. but the Kitten evaded it and attempts to tail on Rin.
Hachinodate: Watch your cat's tail, Rin!
Rin has a better maneuver and fires her machine guns on the enemy ace, destroying the enemy aircraft in the process.
Rin: Got 'em-nya!
Hachinodate: The Cat has defeated the Kitten!
Bandog: No way!
More aircraft are coming in.
Hachinodate: All squadrons, listen up. More enemy fighter aircrafts are approaching fast.
Bandog: Shoot down anything that interferes with your mission.
Count: Righto. There are more drones coming in.
Shioriko is close by and engages the drones.
And manages to knock out her first 2 drones.
Tabloid: 15! Keep up the attack!
Bandog: Spare 11. Stop counting and start attacking.
Tabloid: They just don't stop.
Count: Trigger, let the real battle begin!
The drones are coming in with more numbers, Trigger, Count and Shioriko as well as Umi and Rin are going to take every drone out.
Rin took one down, she has now 4 UAVs taken out.
Bandog: 5 UAVs remaining.
Umi took another UAV out, counting it on 5.
Trigger shot another drone down, she now has over 18 drones.
Bandog: Three UAVs remaining.
Tabloid: We've got this!
2 more UAVs are shot down by Ayumu, counting now on 5 for Ayumu.
Bandog: One UAV remains. This is it!
Count: Leave that one to me!
While Count tried to chase the last one, Shioriko launched her TQAA missile on the last drone, detonating it in the process.
Shioriko: I got the last drone, 7 drones under my belt!
Hachinodate: Incredible job, Trigger, School Idols! All drones have been neutralized.
Shioriko: All Idol Aircraft and Trigger, mission complete. Let's go back to base.
All Idol Aircraft and Trigger: Roger that!
Bandog: We'll catch up with you!
Count: No rest for the wicked.

Spare Squadron lost some planes, but we have successfully completed our first air-to-ground assault with 2 thumbs up.
And we have destroyed so many UAVs than the Spare Squadron. It's a achievement for us.
Trigger, even though you have returned to base, you are a member of our special air unit. You are allowed to refuel and repair with us. Don't bother the Spare Squadron, you are a exchange idol ace. We are taking good care for you. You can be allowed to change your ammo, refuel and repair. Think about that, okay?
Good thing we have Shioriko deployed on the 2nd half of the mission. A commander might be needed for a tactical overview on the missions.
