Here you go!

As you may notice i am trying to post daily, but it is taking a lot, so i can not promise that to keep happening.

Also this chapter may not be my best, so please go easy.

(POV: Reyna)

Reyna had returned to camp Jupiter the next day. As soon as she returned she was barraged by questions, from the Legion, Frank, and the occasional Senator. Reyna chose to keep everything under wraps until Theseus arrived, which wasn't long.

The morning after returning from the east coast she was greeted by a knock on the door at her home, a perk of being a Praetor.

Reyna looked at the alarm clock beside her bed. 5:30. With it being so early Reyna was confused by who it could be. She put on a robe and went to the door.

Reyna opened the door, blinking trying to clear her vision. The first thing she saw was two green orbs. "Jesus, Theseus what are you doing here so early?"

Theseus looked a bit confused. "Is it a custom to not be awakened so early?"

"Well not exactly, though it's nice not to. We mostly get up at sunrise. What about in Atlantis?"

"With the city being over eight miles below the surface there is no sunlight. In other higher provinces it's a complex system of sleep times depending on the person's class. For exam-"

Reyna cut him off by turning around and heading back inside. "Whatever, come inside."

Reyna went into the small kitchen area to make coffee. Theseus entered and closed the door behind him.

"Do you want some coffee?" Asked Reyna.

"I have no idea what it is, but no. Thank you" He responded, he looked around her living room, examining the unfamiliar objects. Reyna enjoyed the ma-Atlanteans accent, it was soothing as it was commanding.

Reyna entered the room, a mug in one hand. "Well we won't be able to get a senate meeting until at least ten, I don't wish to freak them out with an emergency meeting. So, tell me about Atlantean culture." She said as she sat on the couch, beckoning Theseus to do the same.

Theseus sat on the opposite end. "Where to start? There isn't just one race, nor one main nation. The Atlanteans are like me, we take a humanoid form, we are also amphibious. The Merfolk are a hybrid, waist down fish, waist up humanoid. They cannot breathe air."

"Atlantis is the largest city." He continued. "It has direct governing control over the north and south Atlantic oceans, the population is primarily Atlanteans. The far north, the Arctic, as you would call it, is under the governorship of Forodren othrond, again primarily Atlanteans. The Antarctic is ruled by the city of Haradren othrond, very few Merfolk can be found there."

As Reyna listened she tried to take in all the information, it was a lot. She then realized that Theseus was quite knowledgeable, it made it hard to believe that he was Percy's brother.

"The Indian ocean is heavily populated by the Merfolk, and is a mixture of small states. The Pacific is split into the north, west, and east. The kingdom of the east pacific or the kingdom of Μεγάλος Ωκεανός is the one you will be negotiating with."

Reyna leaned back, setting her mug on the coffee table. "What is the strongest kingdom?" she asked.

"In terms of military strength it would be Atlantis, political influence Atlantis, well heck, in general it would be Atlantis. Though don't listen to me I am bias for my kingdom." He laughed.

Reyna smiled a bit. "How do the gods come into this? The sea ones I mean."

"Essentially the same way your Olympians do. They do not influence us directly but they occasionally mess with us. Far less than the Olympians from what I heard. The last time they directly helped us was when Oceanus attacked." He leaned forward. Reyna could tell that he was thinking of a bad memory. "We lost many souls, many good soldiers. Oceanus was unlike any other, he was powerful, the other titans may be strong but they are not directly in their domain. His rampage still leaves a great scar in the aquatic world."

Reyna and Theseus were quiet for a moment. "You seem to know alot about us, well except for sleep schedules. How did you learn all of it?"

"Even the Atlanteans heard of the heroics of the Romans and greeks. Even the cowardice of the Olympians." With the last part he chuckled.

Reyna realized something back from the meeting. "You said the Gods were being distracted, what do you mean?" She asked.

"Lets just say some nymphs and loyal gods are causing a disturbance at the Olympian palaces. With that happening they won't notice me being here." He responded.

Reyna then felt like it was the time to ask the burning question. "When does it happen? The flood, I mean."

Theseus sighed. "Three months." Reyna looked at him in slight shock. "I know, it is soon. The sea gods will begin giving out blessings next week. If you wanted I could procure one for you. From a powerful sea god, the blessing will then be strong as well."

Reyna looked away hoping her blush was hidden, Theseus seemed to not notice. "Um, thanks."

Theseus nodded and that was how the two spent the rest of the morning talking. Once it was time to inform the Senate of a meeting Reyna got ready. She donned a toga and came back into the living room from hers.

"Is that what you're going to where?" She asked looking at his armor.

"What? Do you not attend political meetings fully armed?" He asked.

Reyna shook her head. "Whatever, follow me." She said leaving her house and heading to the forum.

After assembling the Senate the two stood outside the Senate building. Reyna turned to Theseus. "I have no idea how they will react, so we must convince the fast before they go crazy. I will speak first, get it?" Said Reyna.

"Yes mam." Said Theseus. With that they entered.

Reyna walked onto the senate floor, many of the gathered looked at Theseus. Some with confusion, suspicion, or straight surprise.

Reyna was about to speak when Hank bet her to it. "Who is that?"

Reyna sighed, so much for the strong start. "He is the representative from the Atlantean government and from Lord Neptune."

Hank simply nodded, a bigger look of confusion on his face.

Reyna took a deep breath. "I have some very important information. Many of you will find it shocking, but I wish for you to hear me out. The Atlanteans and sea have decided to help us. In a few months time the sea will consume all of the world's land." Almost everyone gasped, but Reyna glared and continued. "The sea gods are willing to save us, and promise us a better life. Not only will we not need to hide our true selves from mortals, they have also promised us that they will protect us. We may finally be able to live in peace, not forever fighting to survive."

Frank, who was sitting in the first row, spoke up. "What of the gods? What do they think of this?"

"To be honest they do not now, and most will be converted into new sea gods and still rule over their domains." Said Reyna.

"Jupiter will surely not be happy, why should we go against his wishes?" Asked Frank.

Reyna opened her mouth to answer but Theseus stepped forward. "What have they done for you lately, send you on quests that you may never return from. The quest of the seven was needed, yes, but they could have helped more. From what I heard Bacchus made you earn his help, when it was urgent that he needed to. So I will say this once, do you want what's good for your people? Will you accept our help?"

Frank leaned back. "It seems there is little to decide. Let us vote. Any objections?" Asked Frank.

The senators looked at eachother. Reyna knew they all were thinking the same thing, now or never. The voting began and at the end of it nine out of the ten senators said yes.

"What now?" Asked Hank.

"The sea gods will give out blessings, you will all receive one, unless you have disrespected every sea god. And by the looks of Neptune's shrine you should all go pray to them. The Atlanteans will begin construction of your city soon, and expect multiple representatives, they will sort everything out." Said Theseus, his comments on the sea gods shrine made them all uneasy.

With that the meeting was adjourned. Reyna and Theseus exited, Reyna tried to get Frank to come, but he said he must speak to Hazel.

As the two walked through New Rome, Reyna tried to invite him for lunch. "Im sorry, but I can't." Said Theseus. "There is much to be done. But, thank you very much. Now I must go, I will return in three moons."

"You mean friday?"

"I don't know what that is, but I am guessing yes." He smiled at her. "Goodbye."

"Bye" Responded Reyna. And with that Theseus left heading to the sea.

How did you like it? Again not my best. but i tried.
