Theseus ripped through the water like a torpedo, he headed straight into the open blue waters of the great Pacific. Once he had traveled around three thousand miles, taking about only a half an hour.

Once Theseus had reached the right location he dived down, traveling over three miles straight down he arrived at the 'bottom'. He passed through what seemed like the ocean floor, but was really a cloud of silt and arrived at another entirely different ocean. known as the under sea, which in total was many times larger than all of the surface oceans combined.

The moment he arrived at the under sea his senses were relieved, the water here was a hundred times cleaner.

The plateau Theseus arrived on was one full of small farms that grew multiple atlantean breeds of plants, many that feed the atlanteans population. The colors of their bioluminescent light was like a great painting. But this farmland was not the reason for him to come here, he dived deeper.

The two pacific kingdoms had a shared capital, which was separated into two sides by a lava river. The pacific capital was located at the edge of one of the great pillars of rock, that held the surface world. The pillar would soon no longer have to bear any weight.

As the glow of the great city grew Theseus quickened his speed. Soon the atlantean city came into view. The city itself was laid out in a spiral pattern, only being broken by the glowing river of fire. There are the great towers of the city, every level a sphere shaped bubble. As Theseus approached the city center the towers shrink to become military and government buildings.

Theseus never liked the pacific architecture, it seemed wacky and not very sturdy, as if at any moment it would collapse.

Theseus arrived at the great palace of the eastern kingdom, it was shaped like a rippled fan, standing the smallest part down. It was stark white, with blue accents, the material seemed to shine like a star.

Theseus entered through the great door just above its base. He made his way to the king's steward, Yukquan, one of the merfolk. Yukquan simply nodded and pointed to the throne room door, knowing what Theseus's question would be.

Theseus entered the room, it was made of the same material as the outside, it was long and led to the Eastern King himself. Above him was a vast ceiling that seemed to reach the surface world. Four guards were in the room as well, two at the door and two beside the king, each armed with a spear and a sword at their sides.

"King Malreth. It is good to see you again." Said Theseus as he faced the Eastern King.

The Eastern King was of the merfolk, the waist down he had great blue scales that turned green in the light. His skin above his waist was a deep blue like the sea, his head had no hair as of all the merfolk and his eyes were a bright purple.

Malreth spoke with a gentle voice. "It is good to see you as well. I hoped you came to an understanding with the surface dwellers?"

"To the best I could. They are a stubborn race, I hope they will accept what is."

"They are indeed stubborn." Malreth swan forward a bit. "I will order my workers to begin construction of the Romans new city."

"Good then, I must be going." Theseus turned.

"May the tides favor you."

Theseus turned his head before leaving. "May they be with you as well."

Theseus was planning on returning to the surface world, but before he could leave, he was stopped by Yukquan.

"Sir, I have received a message. You must return to Atlantis. The council of Sea lords have been ordered to gather." Said Yukquan, the urgency was apparent in his words.

"Why so suddenly-" But even as Theseus said it, he could feel it. The currents shifted and warped, as if the ocean itself was a great snake with its head chopped off.

"I do not know but you must make haste."

"Thank you Yukquan." Said Theseus before launching himself into the dark void of the Under sea.

The journey from the pacific to the Atlantean sea was a dangerous one, to get there quickly you would have to navigate the great caverns and tunnels that went under the American plate. Most people went to the far north or south and around the plate. Theseus however did not have the luxury of taking the long route.

Theseus quickly found himself at the North American plate, he quickly entered the cave known to the locals as the Devil's throat. Even though its name screamed 'you will die here' he went straight in without hesitation. It was the quickest route to get to the council of sea lords who met north of Atlantis.

With Theseus's luck he expected to be attacked within the first ten feet of entering the tunnel. So when he encountered nothing for a hundred miles he knew that there was one of two things. A buffet at the other end, or a ridiculously strong sea monster. Theseus betted on the later, and he won.

The first thing he felt was the water currents bending around it. The second thing was the spiked tail slamming into him. As he was sent flying back he could feel the four puncture points in his chest. He willed the cloud of blue liquid coming from him back into his body.

They could now clearly see what in front of him, a beast a hundred feet long, scales the size of dinner plates. It was a squid shaped beast, but instead of a mouth between his tendrales there were four on every side of his head, each a razor sharp beak. The tentacles were covered with spikes eight inches long. And on the front of its head was a large single eye, yellow and glowing like a fire.

Theseus narrowed his eyes, his face furrowed with a calmed fury. He sent a powerful ripple through the water, that sent the beast back a bit. He then reached out and willed the water to condense. It glowed around his hand, the water then seemed to form into an object. And after a flash out blue light that sent the beats relling back, Theseus held a trident.

The trident was over five feet long, it was silver and forged from Holy Atlantean steel. It had intricate patterns from the top of the three prongs down to the spear at the opposite end of the trident. Along the side of the trident in Atlantean it said 'Bane of the Abyss' for its purpose was defeating the enemies of Atlantis.

Now the monster was advancing on him. It was moving hoping to crush the Atlantean, though Theseus would not be taken so easily. Theseus quickly ducked under the great size of the beast. Once he was behind him he backed into the larger cavern where the beast originally ambushed him.

He let the monster come to him again, but before the beast was in range it stopped and sent its spiked tentacles at him. Each of them came at him at blistering speed, but Theseus quickly moved out of their way. He took it as a perfect time to strike, he lunged at the beast, putting his trident straight into its eye.

The beast released a gurgling sound which was its version of a howl of pain. It quickly swatted at Theseus who quickly took his trident and stabbed through the tendral, which made the sea monster release more gurgles.

The beast swatted a few more limes before quickly escaping the fight it knew it couldn't win. Theseus dislodged his trident and let the beast flee, there was no point in following it.

Theseus grunted as he peered down at his wounds, they were pretty deep. He decided to let them heal by themselves and he made sure to keep his blue blood where it belonged. He then returned to his journey, hoping to make up his lost time.

After another hour of travel, and two minor attacks by some helpless monsters Theseus emerged from the tunnel. The first thing Theseus noticed was the storm, he could not see it from the depths of where he was, but instead he could feel it. Theseus suppressed his thought and launched himself towards the meeting place.

The meeting place was a symmetrical sunken hole in the ground, on the sides were steps and stone seats, each occupied by an Atlantean. In the center is a stage, where thousands of speakers had been in the past.

Theseus took to the back of the rows and quickly sat near a Atlantean he recognized as a daughter of Triton.

Almost immediately after his arrival a party of two also arrived and took their seats. The speaker then stood from his seat on the lowest level and swam to the stage. Theseus knew him as a member of the Atlantean council.

The speaker looked over the gathered. "I am here to bring troubling news. As you may have noticed the sea is restless. Well it would seem that the olympians know of our plans and have launched an attack on lord Poseidon."

A flood of thoughts poured into Theseus's mind, but he pushed them down as the man continued.

"So we have decided to push forward the sinking of the surface world, to now."
