Taylor Hebert/Weaver PoV:
"I can't believe we actually just fought Lung and the Mandarin to a standstill," Taylor said as Weave pulled back her mask and sat down on the sofa; she and the others had down here in their little base of operations that was Taylor's basement.
"Same," Emma said, the X-gene Parahuman joining her as she shifted from her red-colored slime form to her human form; though the busty redhead was entirely naked, but that was a sight Taylor and the others were used to.
"Standstill? I say we kick their fuck assess; the training your mom had us do for the past six months really worked the fuck out," Sophia said, the athletic black girl stripping out of her Huntress-inspired armor as it was the girl's dream to one day join the Bids of Prey, which was a thing Taylor supported a hundred percent as they were the premiere superheroine team that worked all over the country. The Shadow Magic user grinned as she took out drinks from the fridge; she, heck, all of them were high of the success.
"Yeah, listening to a former heroing about actually doing the prep is a good idea; who knew," Madison, their Tinker and sole Trigger Parahuman in their little group, said the petit girl swirled in her chair as she had been there the entire time as in their expanded basement Madison had her workshop where she made the drones that assisted them. She was also responsible for Taylor's own ability to fly as she had made wings that Weave, her symbiote partner, had integrated into herself.
"Well, Aunty Zoe wouldn't have been a hero if Mom hadn't helped train her," Taylor added as she got some chocolate for her body partner, who generated a second head next to hers to do the act as she liked mimicking how she did things.
"Thanks TayTay." Weave mentally responded, with Taylor sending the appropriate feelings back happy that her Symbiote was such a good girl, unlike her Mother. And it was difficult to believe that it had been over six months since Weave had bonded with her. She and her mom had been on a trip to New York to visit her Uncle Stacy and his daughter Gwen.
This was the first time the two had met since they had both lost a parent, which they had bonded over, and also learned that Gwen was actually Spider-Girl(Well, retroactively, thanks to Weave), as during the trip the villain, Venom who was a girl named Mary Jane who blamed Gwen for the death of a boy they both liked. Had attacked, with Taylor getting taken hostage, which was what had allowed her to get Weave as Symbiotes reproduces asexually, and Venom had accidentally put her offspring in Taylor.
And now the two of them together was the Superheroine Weaver.
She had, of course, had, told Emma and Sophia, her two best friends, and so together, the three had decided to form a team together, with their first night out that weekend ending in disaster as they tried to ambush the ABB who had been kidnapping girls, and they had gotten their ass kicked by the Yoka Squad as it was called, and having gotten bailed out by Aunt Zoe, the retired heroine saving their asses while the Protectorate moved in.
But it was during that they met Madison, a girl that went to the shit hole known as Winslow; she had been taken from her home, the fuckers even killing her parents in the process as her Mother and Father tried to resist and save her.
Though the saving grace was that they had entered the warehouse just in time to have her prevented her from being raped by the unpowered goons.
The small teen, having clung to Taylor after the fact and… that was she currently lived in their house as a shut-in, as the experience had scared her and made her Trigger.
Mom was really the best.
"They are both taskmasters," Sophia added.
"And we were for a reason," Annette Hebert spoke as she came down the stairs. "I've gotten some sandwiches for everybody; you did good work, all of you, today."
"Thanks, Aunty," Emma replied as a slime tentacle emerged from her body and, took the plate off the woman's hand and started distributing them to the others. "Yeah, I think this time we can say go, Team."
"We need to come up with a name," Madison commented as she returned to her computer, sandwich in hand.
"We can do that later, but we've been working for hours at this point, so I want some validation," Sophia said, the black girl the most blunt of all of them, and also a little bit of a glory hound. "People talking about us on PHO?"
"Haven't been able to check," Madison said as she brought up the ultimate website for all things Parahuman in the world. Forum, social media site, discussion platform, news site, if it was about Parahumans you could find and discuss it on there.
"Well, I am certainly interested in what people have about the great Slime Girl," Emma said proudly while Taylor and Sophia just sighed at their friend's horrible naming sense she had inherited from her mother, who had simply been Slime Woman.
Taylor was gonna have to come up with a better one, but she did agree with Emma on one thing: a slime-based superhero name was terribly hard to come up with.
She was gonna have to work on that.
"So what you got for us, shorty?" Sophia asked Madison.
"Well, we've got a thread about us on here and a video on ParaTube, but what is currently going viral is this," Madison said. "Apparently, Captain Nazi was here, and well... somebody recorded this video it's already over 10 million views."
Everyone looked at the big screen with the video starting with a guy doing a set for his own video before explosions were heard outside; he then looked out and started recording the fight between Jirai Gumo and Oni Lee against Captain Nazi and Hookwolf.
And then Hookwolf got launched, which he followed and saw it landed behind a car that was right underneath his apartment where…
"Is that Ritsuka?" Taylor said in shock as she recognized her Asian classmate, who was probably the nicest guy she had ever met, who was currently dodging the shit out of Hookwolf's attempts at murder before Rune shoved up.
"That guy you all have a crush on?" Mom asked, and they all blushed at her words. "I can see why he is quite handsome." She added as they watched him summon a girl to his side who then manhandled Hookwolf.
"So, uhhh, do you think we can get him to join our team?" Madison asked.
"Maybe, but what does the thread say?" Sophia asked.

So we all know what happened not even like 3 hours ago where all the nazis across the nation tried to take over, don't know why Hydra decided to do this a week before christmas, what I do know is that here in Brockton Bay they got fucking schooled on.
I was in the middle of recording a new camera, I got for my birthday(the rotten luck of having it on the same month as Christmas)
So I managed to catch the start of the main fight that happened near on the intercity mass right on the border of what people calls ABB and Empire Territory and caught the rise of two new heroes
enjoy.
Mod Edit: Due to the public nature of this I will allow it to remain but I will put in a disclaimer to warn people of the violent imagery and that if you know who this person is, to not hassle them.

The last member of New Wave finally getting powers and an outfit that screams cute but strong, the Amazonian dommy mommy murdering those fucking nazis, the random kid suddenly pulling out some Shonen style anime dodges and styling on knifepuppy, or the Nazis getting shat on several ways from Sunday. Did I mention the discount 4th Reich getting their shit kicked in? #FUCKNAZIS!

While the prospect of the kid summoning new people is very intriguing considering how hot that one was no one going to bring up what the amazon was saying mid fight. She called out an attack like an anime character before screaming about Achilles. I'm not complaining about it though considering she butchered almost all her opponents and sent the last one running with his tail between his legs, but don't some story's about Achilles mention an amazon. Also 20$ on the kid summoning a mage.

Also, there is nothing about how the boy was able to dodge so well. My guess is it's a part of his powers, like a spell that increases his physical attributes as well as his mental ones. It's magic, logic usually doesn't mesh well with it.
