A Tarnished Return.

Izuku is currently staring at the Rabbit hero Miruko. His full Elite knight gear giving an etherreal glow in the light if the sun as he smiles beneath it. Based on her looks not much time has actually passed at most a year. That makes Izuku feel good. Better than before he had that info. Spending so long in Lordran and the lands between had taken its toll on him and his internal clock. Time being convoluded allowed for traversal through it easily. Looking around he takes a glance at the headstone and reads it. Seeing the words "A Hero to Heros" made his eyes tear up as he turns to Miruko and speaks his first words in well over 4 centuries. His voice worn, broken and scratchy from non-use.

"Is...Is that epitaph true? Am i really considered a hero?" Izuku asks shocking Miruko. Its been 10 months and its broken but that is definitely his voice. Mirukos eyes tear up even more before she speaks in a soft whisper.

"I had that made. You were a hero to me. You saved my life, made me a better hero because of it. Those words you spoke inspired me to do better...to be better. Even if no one else believes it. I believe that you're a hero. I-Izuku is that really you? How can you be back? Is it a quirk? Is this your quirk?" Miruko asks very confused as Izuku shakes his head before taking off his helmet. Turning his head to the side izuku reveals a small burning circle on his skull.

"It's because of this. This is the darksign of undeath. I'm the chosen undead of the first flame and the new bearer of the Elden Ring the Third Elden Lord. I've been fighting, Killing, defending and destroying for so...so long. I died so many times...so many, many times Miruko. I'm just glad to finally be home. I can explain later but i must return home. I need to see my mother. She is what kept me grounded for so long in lordran. Is she still living in our old apartment?" Izuku asks as he puts his helmet back on not wanting anyone to ask why he was back from the dead. Miruko nods before immediately zeroing in on what he said.

"Wait...died many times? You died in those other places? How are you still here?" Miruko asks as Izuku smiles.

"As i said, i will explain when i can. In the mean time these are my companions. Anastacia of Astora. A firekeeper, the giant dragon woman is Halfbreed Priscilla, the black haired woman is known as the Chaos Witch Quelaag, her younger sister the white haired girl is Known as the mistress Quelaan. Next to her is the Pyromantic witch Quelana also a sibling to the others. Last but certainly not least is the ice witch Ranni. A demigod. They became my traveling companions while in lordran and the lands between when traversing through Ash Lake and up the great Arch trees leading to new worlds." Izuku says as his companions all step forward and backward introducing themselves happily as Miruko vegins walking them towards Midoriyas old house. Izuku feeling Nostalgic and seeing all the old sites he missed so much. His companions astonished at what kind of world Their leader and friend had come from. The illustrations in his many books just didnt do the beauty justice. As they approach the door Izuku slows down and looks towards miruko.

"Miruko i have to ask...how has my mom been?" Izuku asks a bit scared to know the answer but miruko smiles at him and chuckles.

"She's been good. She really took your death hard. And i mean hard Izuku. It took everything she had to continue on without you but she eventually got with it again because of help from me. I've been hanging out with her this whole time. Shes such a wonderful woman izuku. Funny thing is she always felt that somehow someway you were alive. Now come on she'll love that you're alive." Miruko says as she opens the door with her key before walking in.

"I'm back! And i brought a very special guest." Miruko says as izuku and his companions all walk into the house. Inko takes one look at the armored figure now standing in her doorway. Immediately she drops the food she made and stares in wonder before her eyes tear up and she begins crying racing forward. Even without seeing his face Inko knows exactly who's under that suit.

"IZUKU MY SWEET BABY BOY!!!! Oh my god i knew you weren't gone forever. I had the strangest feeling even though your body was right infront of me i always knew you were still alive somehow some way. Oh god i missed you so much sweety. Please tell me about everything i have to know what you were doing." Inko says crying happily as she gets held in a strong and caring embrace. Izuku also begins crying his eyes out as he falls to his knees and in agonized cries holds his mother tightly to himself. His hold while tight assuredly is conforting as Izuku gently nuzzles and cuddles into his mothers familiar frame. His tears soon turning to agonized cries of millenia old wishes and ambitions finally coming to fruition. After about 5 minutes Izuku feels 6 hands get placed on his shoulders and arms as he looks at all his companions. Each one smiling happily at him as Izuku calms down and stands up.

"Sorry mom it's just been...so long since ive seen you. Ill begin my explination with a small story as told to me by a strange voice. A voice only known as the oracle." Izuku begins as he sighs recalling what was said.

"In the Age of Ancients the world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of gray crags, Archtrees and Everlasting Dragons neither living nor dead...just existing. But then there was Fire and with fire came disparity. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light and dark. Then from the dark, They came, the gods of the new era and they soon found the Souls of Lords within the first flame. Nito, the First of the Dead, The Witch of Izalith and her Daughters of Chaos, Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights. And Manus the Furtive Pygmy of humanity so easily forgotten.

With the strength of Lords, they challenged the everlasting Dragons. Gwyn's and his armies mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales. The Witches of Izalith weaved great firestorms torching and melting their flesh to the bone. Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease the likes of which the dragons never before faced. And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own out of jealousy and envy, and the Dragons were no more. At least they thought.

Thus began the Age of Fire and gods. But soon the flames would begin to fade and only Dark will remain. After what i did though. Yeah, no flame remains. Sadly man sees not light, but only endless nights and gray fogs. And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed Darksign of Undeath. Forever denying those who are marked from deaths sweet embrace.

The Darksign brands the Undead. And in lordran, the Undead are corralled and led to the north, where they are locked away, to await the end of the world. That was my fate. Corralled into the Undead Asylum after i died here saving Miruko. I awoke inside that tiny cell in the Asylum and soon a body fell inside it from above. On the corpse...my cell key. Thus i started my journey." Izuku says as he weaves the tale gaining everyones attention. Soon enough the early morning gives way to darkened night and stars as the moon outside shines bright and full but is tinted a deeo shade of blue revealing Ranni now controlling it. Izuku finally finishes his tale as he rubs his head some.

"So as i said after seeing the same fate play out literally thousands of times over the vast eons of time ive lived through i decided it's best to change things and fought Gwyn one more time. I used everything i had and beat him to death and forced him to link the fire once more and as the link was taking place i absorbed it all inside myself taking the flame and stealing it's power to return the world to its ancient state. I hold the first flame and its fuel inside myself so i will never fear going hollow. Lordran can begin again with a new existence that will birth from the ashes of what i left behind and with the power of the first flame i used it to locate the arch tree in the land between realms which leads home and phased me and my cimpanions to it and upon entering the top i burst into flames with the others and was lead to my body. Im so glad to be back." Izuku says as he plays with the white haired girls hair as he begins rubbing her horn. The little angel showed up halfway through his story and when hearing he was Izuku she immediately leapt into his arms thanking him for saving her through her momma Miruko. Izuku fell in love with the child immediately and in his mind she is now his daughter. No questions asked thats just how it is now. She wanted to sit in papas lap and listen to his story so he kept going toning it down for her so she didn't hear anything to graphic. Currently she is sleeping leaning against his stomach while sitting in his lap.

"So i guess we should think about how i returned. Honestly i thought hard about this and i believe we can say my abilities are a latent pyrokinetic mutant quirk where my mind and consciousness remained as a small fire or ember inside my body even after death and when i finally regained consciousness of who i was...what i wanted to be... My body regained life from that spark and i was reborn through the flame." Izuku says as Miruko smirks a bit.

"That sounds bad ass as Fuck! Im down to lie to the HPSC about it. They'll probably want to take you into that child soldier program they think they have hidden but i wont let them take you. Hell i doubt you or these others will let that happen. Besides if what even a 10th of what you said is true i have to say it would be hilarious to see them try and force you to and you just be all Keeyah bitch and whoop some butt." Miruko says as she sees Eri waking up after tge loud yell miruko made.

"We can head to the courts and quirk registration office tomorrow morning. What are you going to name your fake quirk izuku?" Inko asks as Izuku smiles happily before leaning back in the chair and staring at Eri's smiling face.

"I'll call my 'quirk'. The First Flame." Izuku says as he reaches inside himself feeling the fire of both the first flame and the cold bitter darkness that is the Abyss of humanity inside himself.
