Hi everyone, welcome back. So now we got Anne, Luz, Eda, King, and the Plantars in the Demon Realm, with the means to go back-and-forth from there to Amphibia thanks to the mysterious Salamander Palisman. And here is one chapter many of you were eager for, where we meet certain witch students who will make big impacts on all of their lives.

With that being said, let's get this chapter started.

Take 'Em to Magic School

It was morning just outside the Owl House as Luz had stepped outside to take a huge breath of air before letting out a happy sigh. "Smell that nice magic air, Sprig. Nothing beats fresh morning air."

Sprig hopped on Luz's shoulder and repeated her actions, inhaling and exhaling deeply. "Ah. Magic air."

"It's just air you two nerds." Polly said as she and King were both playing with cards on the side of the building. "Nothing magical about it."

"Way to ruin the vibe, Polly." Sprig sulked. "By the way, where's Anne, Hop Pop, and Eda?"

"Eda said she was gonna take Anne into town to get her some new clothes." Luz answered. "Since she accidentally got zapped to Amphibia, she didn't have any extra clothes on her, and Hop Pop said he was gonna tag along to get an idea of what the Boiling Isles are like, and I think the Salamander went with them."

"And he completely ignored my order to get me some juice!" King protested, causing Polly to roll her eyes.

Sprig groaned as he laid dramatically on the ground. "Why does Hop Pop get to be the only one to explore? There's a whole Demon Realm out there, but we haven't even gone ten feet outside the house!"

"If you all want someone to give you the inside scoop on the Demon Realm…" Hooty stretched out from the doorway, causing Sprig to back up in fright. "I can be very knowledgeable."

"Yeah, the only knowledge you know is what to eat and what not to eat." King said. "And you don't not eat anything."

"Double-negative there, King." Luz pointed out.

"No, seriously. This guy who will eat just about anything!" King pointed to Hooty. "Even raw garbage!"

"Ha! I'll have you know mister that garbage is the utmost of cuisines reserved for only the finest demons." Hooty held himself upright in a regal manner before spotting some spilled garbage bags on the side of the house. "I call dibs!" He stretched himself out before opening his mouth to gargantuan proportions and swallowed all of the garbage whole before burping. "Ah, moldy meat with a hint of aged mystery gunk. Hoot. Hoot."

Everyone, even Polly, shivered as they saw that. "Welp, there goes my appetite for the week." The little polliwog said.

"You'll get use to it." Eda's voice spoke out, leading to everyone to turn to see the Owl Lady returning with Hop Pop right beside her, the Salamander following on the ground, and finally, Anne, dressed in some new and clean clothes.

The Thai girl's new attire consisted of a blue dress that stretched down to just above her knees, a purple sleeveless jacket, a red sash tied around her waist like a belt, and black shoes. It was rather simple, but compared to some of the dirty and torn clothes that she had worn before in Amphibia, it was a major improvement. Not to mention her hair had been cleaned out too and no longer had leaves and twigs inside.

"Whoa, Anne! You look great!" Luz came up to her with a smile, grabbing her arms.

"Thanks, dude." Anne smiled.

"Latest witch fashion, eh?" Luz nudged her.

"Not really." Anne admitted, still keeping up her smile. "Just some plain clothes. Not looking to stick out or anything."

"Well, you still pull it off good, kid." Eda commented, ruffling Anne's hair. "Who knows, in a few years, you'll be hot enough to pull of any look like yours truly." She waved her own hair back for dramatic purposes. "Let me know if you want any womanly advice to go with that." She gave Anne a wink.

"I'll keep that in mind." Anne said. "But right now, I'm just glad to have some non-torn clothes, clean hair, and two shoes. Seriously, I lost one of my old shoes the first night in Amphibia and it's been annoying walking around like that." She said to Luz, who winced for her.

"So, what was demon town like, Hop Pop?" Sprig hopped over to his grandfather. "Did you guys go any magic adventures while shopping?" The pink frog boy hopped onto the older frog's face and leaned in close. "Tell me everything!"

Hop Pop, however, pulled Sprig off. "The only adventure was making sure nobody cause trouble. I get that Anne needed some clothes, and that's fine. But the last thing my grandkids are gonna do is jump into the mouth of a giant monster." He said, causing Sprig to groan.

"You're no fun, Hop Pop."

"Well you guys want, fun. I know a nice group-bonding activity for all of us to take part in." Eda said as she pulled in Hop Pop and Sprig. "It'll be magical…" She looked to Sprig, causing him to gasp with excitement. "...Enough to teach a magic lesson or two…" She looked to Luz, who squealed as she held Anne tightly with excitement, the latter girl smiled with amusement towards her friend. "And no other living creatures are involved, so it's totally safe." She said to Hop Pop in particular.

"Let's do it Hop Pop! Pretty please!" Sprig and Luz were both looking to the old frog with big and sparkly eyes, causing him to sigh.

"Well, as long as it's safe, I guess it's fine." He accepted.

"Yes!" Luz and Sprig both pumped their fists. "So where, too Eda?" The former asked.

"Oh, you kids are gonna love it." The Owl Lady grinned.

Everyone was led to a nearby beach where Luz, Anne, and Sprig winced at what they saw, Hop Pop's eyelids lowered, while King and Polly just stared blankly.

"Well, everyone, did you ever once in your lives think you'd see something as breath-taking as this!" Eda said excitably.

What they saw was the carcass of a giant slug-like creature, having washed up on shore, covered in all kinds of trash and garbage.

"I… don't… like this…" Luz muttered.

"The hell even is that thing…?" Anne questioned. "Some kind of… demon whale…?"

"It smells worse than Hop Pop's cooking!" Sprig covered his nose and mouth.

"I heard that!" The old frog said annoyingly.

"Yep, it doesn't get much more inspiring than the trash slug." Eda said as she walked up to the carcass. "It makes a home, a life, from what others have thrown by the wayside." She said in a wise tone of voice, picking up a rubber chicken from near the mouth of the dead beast before throwing it away. "Until blam!" She slammed her fist into her palm. "It gets blasted by a wave one day and croaks from all the salt. And then we get to sell the stuff it ate." She pulled out a pickaxe in one hand and a mallet in the other and handed it to the kids, all of whom cringed with what she was implying.

"Please don't make me…!" Luz paled.

'This is worse than frog dissection day back home.' Anne shivered.

"I thought you said this was gonna be safe." Hop Pop said to Eda.

"It's totally safe." The witch replied. "The thing's dead so it can't hurt you." She kicked the side of it and got no response. "See?"

"We get to break apart a dead monster?!" Polly beamed. "Sign me up, lady!" Polly hopped to Eda and snagged the mallet. "Prepare to get demolished! HIYA!" She hopped to the side of the trash slug and slammed the mallet into it, only to get bounced back and roll across the sand.

"Right spirit, Polly. Wrong direction." Eda said to the little tadpole. "This thing's got thicker skin any demon living in the Isles. If you wanna get to the insides, you gotta go for the mouth." She brought her pickaxe to circular teeth in the open mouth to break off a few.

"I got a better idea." Anne said. "How about… we get our swimsuits on and hit the beach?"

"Heck yeah!" Sprig took off his jacket and hair.

"Wait, you have hair?" Anne looked in surprise.

"Frogs are water creatures, and I get to be the first frog to swim in demon water!" Sprig hopped towards the ocean with Anne running behind him, both laughing, only to get picked up telekinetically by magic and pulled back to the group.

"Sure, if you wanna have your skin boiled off." Eda said as she had used her staff to magically drop the two onto the ground.

"Boiled off?" Luz questioned.

"The Boiling Sea's so hot, that any land-based creature is bound to get third-degree just from first contact. Watch." Eda pointed toward the ocean and spun a blue magic circle, creating a large chunk of ice over the water, which dropped and immediately melted and evaporated within two seconds, much to everyone's surprise.

"Oh… Boiling Isles… I get it." Anne said with wide eyes.

"But this guy swam in there, right?" Sprig pointed to the dead trash slug.

"Cause the trash slug, and other aquatic demons, evolved to live in the boiling hot waters." Eda replied. "So, unless humans and frogs rapidly evolve to do the same, I suggest you stay on land where it's safe."

"Safe and boring." Anne muttered.

"Aw, come on, Anne." King walked to the side and laid out a beach towel with the picture of a rubber ducky on it. "It's not every day that you get to go to the dump and pick apart a garbage carcass." He said in clear sarcasm.

"You're loss." Polly said as she hopped over to the dead creature's mouth and smashed it's teeth in with the mallet she had. "Any excuse to smash stuff is a good excuse."

"Nice to see someone who gets it." Eda said as she too went up to the creature's mouth and smashed it open further with the pickaxe.

As they worked, Anne happened to look to her only present human friend. "So… Luz… what kind of magic stuff have you done here? Like… ride on any dragons or learn to shoot fire from your eyes?"

"I haven't even read any ancient scrolls, yet." Luz said. "Was kinda hoping I could at least learn to mix potions or…"

"Meh, that's all a bunch of magic school stuff." Eda stated as she picked apart some of the piled-up garbage.

"Magic school?" Sprig's interest was instantly peeked along with Luz, while also catching Hop Pop's cautious attention.

"…As in… winding towers… cute uniforms… dark plots that threaten your life… kinda magic school?!" Luz said excitedly.

"Oh no, you kids ain't going to any magic school!" Hop Pop ran in front of both of them and held out his arms. "I told you before how I ain't letting my kids use magic! It's fine if Eda and the other witch kids do it, it's their way and they got more experience. But non-magic people trying something new is going to lead to disaster!"

"Wow, an authority figure telling kids not to go to school." Anne blinked before smiling. "We could use more of that on Earth."

"Ah come on, Hop Pop!" Sprig complained. "It'll be a great way to learn everything about this magical place!"

"You wish." Eda rolled her eyes. "Places like that always try to force you to learn magic the 'proper' way." She said with air quotes. "But magic isn't proper… it's wild and unpredictable, and that's why it's so beautiful. I didn't finish school and look at me! Who wouldn't wanna be where I am right now?"

"You mean where you're stuck picking up garbage to sell to the highest bidder just to provide for yourself?" Anne's eyelids lowered.

"Yep!" Eda said proudly. She happened to take notice of how Luz and Sprig looked in disappointment. "Uh… hey, here's a magic lesson for you." She walked to Luz and Sprig specifically. "Every great witch is resourceful. Like this." She grabbed Luz's hand and stuck it into a puddle of sludge, much to hers and Anne's disgust.

Luz felt something solid and pulled it out, which appeared to be a tiny ball. "Oh… a greasy slime ball."

"Use your slime ball wisely, young witch." Eda said as she clasped Luz's hands together over said slime ball.

"Yo lady! I think I found some metal in here!" Polly called out from inside the trash slug. "We could melt it down to make weapons!"

"See? She's got the spirit. Back at it." Eda went to join the tadpole. "Be sure to go for the stink-nodes first, Polly! That's where all the good stuff is!"

Anne saw how dejected Luz and Sprig appeared to be and came up with an idea. "Hey, Eda, Hop Pop, I'm gonna take Luz and Sprig home, watch some videos of still-living animals." She grabbed both her friends by the shoulders and began to pull them away.

"Well, that's fine. So long as you go straight home." Hop Pop said. "I'll stay here to make sure things don't blow up."

"Good idea, Hop Pop." Anne pointed at him. "Come on guys, the cat videos await!" She led her friends away.

"What's a cat?" Sprig asked as they left the area while Eda and Polly continued to smash and pick at the garbage, with Eda picking up and throwing away a trombone, which landed on King's head.

"This is awesome…!" The Owl Lady called inside as Hop Pop tried to pull the instrument off King's head.

"Hey, how much do you think we can sell from ripping out this thing's heart?" Polly wondered.

Luz, Anne, and Sprig walked along a trail through the forest as the pink frog looked at the slime ball that Luz had in her hand. "So… is that supposed to be a magic ball or something?"

"Nah, probably just garbage like the rest of what came out of that giant slug." Luz dismissed as she put it in her pocket. "If learning magic here is all about dumpster diving, then maybe I don't have the stomach for it."

"So why don't we see what else this giant skeleton has to offer?" Anne suggested.

"But wait, didn't you say that we were going back to the Owl House?" Sprig asked in confusion.

"I lied." Anne said cheekily as she pulled her two friends in. "We're going to do what you two have been wanting to do since coming here, and that's exploring!"

"Uh Anne, I love the enthusiasm, but the last time I tried going off without Eda, I got tricked and kidnapped by a demon pretending to be a wizard." Luz said cautiously.

"Well, you were by yourself back then." Anne pointed out. "Now you got back-up. And I'll beat the crap out of anyone who tries to mess with us." She pounded her fist into her palm.

"Let's do it! Sprig, Anne, and Luz! Weirdos against the world!" Sprig was already onboard, hopping onto Anne's shoulder in agreement.

Luz laughed at that. While a part of her was still unsure about going off without Eda, she at least had her friends with her to help her out. "Weirdos against the world."

"You can do it! You can!"

"Heck yeah, we can!" Anne stated before realizing that this voice didn't belong to any of her friends. "Wait… who said that?"

The three followed the source of the sound, which appeared to be coming from behind some bushes. Pushing past the leaves and foliage they saw a teenage girl with pointed ears, fair skin, a plus-sized build, and olive-green eyes with navy blue hair. She wore glasses over her face, as well as an outfit that consisted of a gray tunic, a dark grey cowl and belt with a gold pin, black short-heeled shoes, and orchid-colored sleeves and leggings. She was leaning against a rocky ledge with a wooden wheelbarrow next to her that had a large cauldron in it with a lid on top.

Sprig gasped. "Another human!?"

"No, she's a witch! Look at her ears!" Luz pointed to the girl's pointed ears.

"Who is she?" Anne asked.

"I don't know. I never met any other witches besides Eda." Luz answered as the trio watched this girl who didn't appear to notice their presence.

"You can do it!" The witch girl said to herself as she paced back and forth. "Even if you get a bad grade, it's not a reflection of you as a witch. And my parents are right. There are better opportunities on this track. Now get to school!" She stomped and pointed dramatically to instill confidence into herself, only to realize she had stepped onto a floor, much to her horror. "Oh no! Oh, little friend! I'm sorry!" She quickly kneeled to the crushed flower and spun a small green magic circle above it, causing magic particles to fall down onto the flower, which quickly mended it as it stood back up again, full of life.

The three looked in amazement.

"Whoa. Plant magic." Luz muttered

"I don't think I've seen Eda do something like that." Anne said.

"Hop Pop would definitely like her." Sprig smiled.

Just then, another wheelbarrow with a cauldron was wheeled onto the scene, being guided by magic as another witch girl happened to be controlling and riding on top, while also reading a book in her hands. This girl had a slim build, pale skin, bright golden eyes and pointed ears. Her hair appeared to be dyed green with a patch of natural brown at the very top, all tied back in a short ponytail, and her attire was identical to the girl down below, indicating that it was a kind of uniform.

"Willow." The girl on top greeted as she closed her book and set off her cauldron. "Wow, you're so unnoticeable, I almost ran into ya, heh."

The girl, apparently named Willow, didn't look all that pleased to see her, evident by her own frown and the flower in front of her falling. "Hi, Amity."

"Shouldn't you get to class early to prep you're…?" The green-haired witch, named Amity, wondered, only for the cauldron behind Willow to shake before tipping over and spilling all of its contents, which appeared to be nothing more than purple mud-like slime, with a single eyeball that somehow blinked on its own. "Oh Willow, you don't have anything to show, do you?"

Luz gave a small gasp. "Witch drama." She said as Sprig and Anne paid attention to, the Thai girl glaring as she couldn't help but get bully-vibes from this Amity-girl.

Willow turned around and pulled her hood over herself in embarrassment as Amity gave a dramatic sigh. "This is why people call you 'Half-A-Witch Willow'." Amity's own cauldron began to shake. "Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you." She went over and pulled the lid off her cauldron. "Abomination, rise." She snapped her fingers.

The second she did, a monster made from the same purple sludge arose from the cauldron, taking the shape of a humanoid-like creature, causing Anne and Sprig to both cringe.

"What is that thing?" The frog boy questioned.

"Looks like a literal walking pile of crap." Anne muttered.

The Abomination leaned closer to Willow and actually spoke. "You're… a… star…" It painted a star on Willow's forehead from its own slime.

"Awe, it's like mine." Amity said mockingly as she pointed to a star-badge on her uniform that read 'Top Student'. "But much smaller and meaningless. As top student, it's my duty to tell you to 'keep at it'." She put a hand over her shoulder in the same mocking manner. "Even you could get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower." She pointed to her Abomination, leading it to sink back into her cauldron, which she closed off with the lid. "See you in class, super star." She wheeled it away with a condescending grin…

Not noticing the hiding trio glaring at her with Luz sticking out her tongue in Amity's direction.

"Yeesh, what's her problem?" Sprig questioned with a glare.

"Guess this world has bullies too." Luz said with disappointment.

Anne growled. "Is it wrong that I wanna go over and punch her?" She punched her own palm for emphasis.

"'Oh, see you in class, super star'." Willow put on an impression of Amity before wiping the mud star off her forehead. "I hate it when she does that! I hate making Abominations, I hate getting bad grades…" As she ranted an intense green magic aura began to envelop around her. "Ugh! I can't stand this anymore!" She closed her eyes and then opened then to reveal a bright green glow.

The trio gasped as they saw the flower from before grow as the roots underneath grew to enormous size, becoming giant thorny tendrils that whipped around in all directions, all surrounding the enraged Willow. One tendril happened to go straight to the trio, snagging onto Luz by her ankle and pulling her up with a scream.

"Luz!" Anne quickly grabbed her with Sprig, only for them to get hauled up as well before being tossed up and fall back hard on the ground, catching the attention of the enraged witch girl.

Back at the beach, Eda tied off the bag on Owlbert's staff form with all the so-called treasures that she collected, most of which were orange spheres. "Not a bad haul. That oviduct was loaded."

"So, what did ya get?" Hop Pop asked in curiosity as he looked at the sack.

"Trash slug eggs." Eda answered. "Could make some real useful potions out of it."

"Monster eggs?" Polly looked impressed. "What a great way to begin raising an army to destroy all my enemies." She laughed evilly.

"Yeah, and all Eda lost for it was her own student." King said mockingly.

"Pttf. I didn't lose anything." She shook her head.

"You didn't lose one thing. You lost two admirers too." Polly pointed out. "Like Hop Pop here lost his grandson and pet human."

"Now hold on there." Hop Pop turned to his granddaughter. "First off, Anne's not a pet. Second, I ain't lost Sprig."

"The way you're always confining him to the Owl House, knowing that he wants to explore, you will." King said. "Same for Eda not teaching Luz right, or making any progress in tracking Anne's other human friends."

"Hey, you do research on a magic music box that nobody's ever heard of." Now Eda was getting irritated.

"With an army of trash slugs on our side, King and I could comb over all of Amphibia and the Boiling Isles and find those other lost humans in no time flat." Polly said.

"Yeah, and we'll make Luz, Anne, and Sprig our apprentices!" King added as he and Polly stood together.

Eda laughed. "And what would you two teach them? How to get stuck in the arm of a sweater?"

"Hey, that only happened once!" King exclaimed.

"I'll make you into a sweater, lady!" Polly threatened.

"Okay, this is going on long enough." Hop Pop tried to stop things from escalating.

"You we're the boss on the farm Hop Pop, but this ain't your turf!" Polly told him. "And I'd make a better role model for those three than you! All you'd teach is farm stuff and safety rules!"

"Now looky here…" Hop Pop was starting to get irritated. "Being a farmer teaches you responsibility and hard work!"

"The heck with responsibility and hard work!" King argued. "I would teach Luz, Anne, and Sprig about demons. How to identify them."

"And I'd teach them all about the beasts from Amphibia. And we'd make a combined army greater than anything either world has ever seen before!" Polly proclaimed.

"And then we'll rule over both worlds!" Both King and Polly declared at the same time.

"After they tear you two out of the sweater arm, right?" Eda snarked, leaning casually against her staff.

"Polly, King, being a leader's all about responsibility. And you two got a lot to learn about that." Hop Pop said.

"You two think you're so high-strung, don't you?!" King growled. "How about we make a bet!?"

"Yeah!" Polly was already onboard. "We'll prove that we can be better teachers than you two old farts!"

"Are you serious right now?" Hop Pop questioned.

"Polly, since you're new, I feel I should give you a fair warning." Eda reached into her hair to pull out a book that read 'Eda King One Sided Wagers' with a red and black hand shaking together on the front. "King and I make these wagers to try and utterly humiliate each other. And…" Eda opened the book to the two toddlers, revealing that there were nothing but stars underneath Eda's faces on each page, and nothing but failure marks under King's faces on the same pages. "…that he has never once won."

"That's because he didn't have me with him!" Polly hopped by King's side. "We'll thrash you and Hop Pop!"

"Nobody is betting anything!" Hop Pop put his literal foot down and waved his hands in front of himself for emphasis. "Eda, this is getting ridiculous." He said to the only adult present, who pulled Hop Pop in close as she turned around to whisper to him.

"This will be a nice way to get all that energy out of their system." She told him. "King's stubborn as a rock, he won't back down until something like this happens. We'll make a fun little bet, get him and Polly to spend off all their energy… in a way that won't threaten to kill us, and everything will be just fine. I mean, do you really think Polly is the type to back down from something like this?"

Hop Pop thought for a moment before looking at his granddaughter, who was literally bouncing up and down with excitement. "Come on! We doing this or what?! I got so much energy that I feel like I'm gonna explode!"

"Do it over Eda and Hop Pop! Gross them out into submitting!" King ordered.

The old frog sighed. "Fine." The two adults turned around as Eda picked up a trash slug egg and presented it to the youngsters.

"You two talk about raising an army of monsters, let's start with just one." She began. "Teach this trash slug to be your loyal soldier in one day. Prove that you can be better teachers and role models than us, and the kids are all yours. But, if you lose, I change your name King to… Mr. Wiggles." She grinned.

"And Polly, if you lose, you will do all of Sprig's share of chores back at the farm for the next week." Hop Pop added.

"Oh, well when you lose Hop Pop, you gotta sleep in Bessie's stable for the next week!" Polly pointed to him. "Even when the rest of us are here in the Isles!"

"And Eda, you will have to wear a shame hat!" King pointed to her. "And sleep in the shack, never allowed to go into the Owl House or the Plantar farm ever again!"

"Ha!" Both King and Polly declared.

"Deal." Eda and Hop Pop agreed as the former opened the book and signed on the page, later handing the feather to Hop Pop who signed it to before King and Polly put their respective handprints on the page to seal the deal. Eda then threw the egg at King's head which broke apart, revealing the baby trash slug that slithered into King's hand.

"Awe, he's so tiny." Polly gushed. "I feel huge!" She proclaimed.

"Are you sure about this, Eda?" Hop Pop asked as the group made their way back to the Owl House.

"Trust me, old timer. King's never won a bet, and I don't see him doing it now." Eda grinned.

Meanwhile; Luz and Sprig looked in mixtures of awe and fear at the enraged Willow with all the raging roots moving around, prompting Anne to quickly appear defensively in front of her friends.

"Back off! I know Muay Thai!" She warned, making a martial arts stance.

However, the second she saw them, Willow gasped in shock, the green glow in her eyes fading as the root tendrils fell to the ground. "Oh, no! No, no, no, no! I'm so sorry!" She quickly apologized, leading Anne to lower her guard as she waved her hand to remove the roots that were ensnared around Luz's legs.

"It's okay…" Luz assured. "The thorns only went through a few layers of skin…"

"Yeah. Amphibia's thorns are way worse." Sprig added as he held a root in his hand.

"Huh, I've never seen a demon like you before." Willow kneeled to get a closer look at Sprig.

"Oh, I'm not a demon." Sprig said. "I'm… from another world!" The pink frog declared dramatically, waving his hands outward, in the same manner Anne did when they first met.

"Another world…? What's he talking about…?" When she looked to Luz and Anne, she happened to notice the shape of their ears. "So… circley."

"Eh… yeah…?" Anne muttered curiously while Luz gave a startled yelp before covering her own ears.

Willow gasped. "You two are human!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement. "This is astounding!" She looked all over Luz and Anne, even under their arms and at their legs. "Humans in the Boiling Isles!? How did you get here?! What are you doing here?!" She then grabbed Sprig. "Is this thing you're pet?! What's this Amphibia-thing you were talking about!?"

"Whoa, Sprig ain't a pet, he's my friend!" Anne quickly pulled him away.

"And Amphibia's the name of the world where he's from." Luz said.

That caused Willow to look in confusion. "Wait… but there are only two worlds. The Human Realm and the Demon Realm."

"Ha, you joking? There's a whole multiverse of worlds out there! For all we know, there could be thousands of other worlds!" Luz revealed.

"Wait… thousands?!" Sprig looked to Anne in shock, who just shrugged.

Willow's eyes sparkled further as her excitement peeked even more. "Thousands of other worlds?! Tell me everything! I want to know more!" Only for her excitement to die down as a loud bell rang in the distance. "Uh… I'm sorry. I can't stay. I have to go disappoint my teacher." She walked away dejectedly. "It was nice to meet you all…"

Anne and Sprig looked with sympathy before Luz ran up. "Wait, wait!" She quickly caught up with Willow. "You're Willow, right? Well, my name is Luz, and yeah, I'm a human. This is my friend, Anne; and our frog-friend from the world of Amphibia, Sprig. What you did with that flower and those plants, it was just… wow!" She said with awe.

"Seriously, that was freaking awesome!" Anne agreed. "Don't know what that other girl was saying, call you 'Half-a-Witch', you might as well be two witches rolled into one if you're packing that much power!" She flexed her own muscles for emphasis.

"How'd you even do that?!" Sprig asked with excitement. "I wanna learn all I can about magic! And my world is chuck full of plants! I bet you would love it there!"

Willow blushed with a smile at all their praise. "Thanks but..." Her smile quickly faded. "I'm not even supposed to be doing Plant magic. My parents put me in the Abomination track at school."

Luz gave an excited squeal as she ran up to Willow, grabbing her by the arms as Sprig hopped up on Luz's head, looking just as excited.

"Did you just say school…?!" Sprig asked eagerly.

"Like magic school…?!" Luz asked in the same manner as Willow nodded in confirmation. "That's so cool! I'm so jealous!"

"Yeah, we know one other witch who said she'd teach us, and she's really strong and cool too, but… her lessons are… Kinda gross." Sprig said. "And my Hop Pop is so strict, he wouldn't even let me step ten feet away from that house! I wish I could see what a real magic school was like." He sat in the ground, looking depressed.

"Me too, buddy. Me too." Luz kneeled down with empathy as she patted Sprig on the back. "Just for one day…"

"I wish I could get a passing grade for once." Willow muttered. "Then people would stop calling me 'Half-a-Witch Willow'." She kicked the spilled Abomination slime at her feet.

"I feel ya." Anne understood. "Back home, reputation is everything. Get stuck with one bad name, and you're stuck with it forever." She looked down, and at the Abomination slime, leading an idea to form. "Wait a second… I think I have any idea for how all of you guys can get what you want."

"Really?" Luz looked to Anne as she and Sprig were already intrigued, watching as Anne scooped up some of the purple goo and put it on herself.

"Make us into your Abominations!" She gestured to herself and her two friends, much to Willow's own surprise. "We'll get you a good grade, and you get these two nerds into magic school! What do you think?"

"That's you're plan?!" Sprig questioned. "Anne, you genius!" He pointed with a smile. "Slime me up!" He rolled around in the purple slime.

"It's not just genius, it's fiendishly clever!" Luz was rather impressed with Anne. She was not the type to come up with ideas like this. This sort of plan might seem like something that Marcy and Sasha would do, but not Anne. Still though, it was impressive.

"What…?!" Willow looked in shock, like she was trying to process it all.

"We saw what that green-haired jerk did." Anne explained. "Abominations are just walking piles of sludge, right? Cover us in sludge, nobody would know the difference!"

"And since I'm a frog, stuff like sludge and mud are my thing!" Sprig added.

"They also talk all weird, and we talk weird, too!" Luz also added as she rubbed herself in abomination goop.

"All true…" Willow admitted. "But… I can't even do one Abomination right, let alone three. Everyone will get suspicious if they saw you."

Anne thought for a moment, looking around for anything that might be useful. She then spotted one of the roots that Willow had conjured before. "I got it!" She picked up said root and tied it around herself, Luz, and Sprig at each of their waists to bind them together with their backs facing each other and fronts facing outward, while Sprig hung from the two girls, his feet unable to touch the ground. "What about a single, three-headed Abomination?"

"Oh, that is perfect!" Luz beamed.

"Anne, your genius knows no bounds!" Sprig granted.

"That… that might actually work." Willow commented. She'd seen a few Abominations sport extra heads, or several faces. And they were in such an imperfect form and structure, that it would actually be a bit believable given how she had trouble making a proper Abomination structure. "Alright. Luz, Anne, and Sprig… was it? It's a deal." She offered her hand, which all three attempted to reach out and shake…

But with the trio in such a position, Anne and Luz ended up tripping over each other's legs and stumbled onto Willow and knocking her down too.

"Oh, sorry!" Luz apologized. But Willow actually laughed, leading to the other three to laugh along with her.

After getting back up, the trio hid inside Willow's cauldron as she wheeled her wheelbarrow to her school. It was a rather large building with a structure that seemed like a mix between a medieval castle and an advanced private school. There were several other witch students heading toward the building, all of which were wearing the same kind of outfit that Willow wore, only many of them had different colored sleeves and leggings such as red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and many others. The students themselves all varied in appearances. Some looked almost human, save for their pointed ears, a few had extra limbs or animalistic features, much like everyone else on the Isles. There was also a varying of different ages with the oldest being teenagers to the youngest being toddlers.

"Welcome to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics." Willow said to the trio as they looked through the partially open lid to see the building.

"Whoa… now that's impressive." Anne granted while Luz could barely contain herself with excitement.

"It's huge…!" Sprig looked in awe. "It's bigger than most buildings back in Wartwood!"

"Hey, I just realized… I've never seen a school in your hometown, Sprig." Luz said.

"We had one, but it got demolished by giant millipedes last year." The pink frog answered.

Anne shivered. "Don't even wanna know."

Willow had brought them inside, prompting the trio to sink deeper into the cauldron and avoid being seen. The inside looked like an average school on Earth with hallways that had lockers built on the sides, several sports banners that had the team name 'Banshees' on it along with other magical banners.

The bespectacled witch was at her locker, which she tickled on the surface with her fingers. An eye opened up at the top as a mouth opened in the middle, a tongue stuck out from the open mouth to hand Willow her book before receding and closing back up just as another student, who was reading a magazine, went at her back.

"Willow, you would not believe, humans!" The student in question said to her. This student also looked almost human, save for his own pointy ears. He was a young prepubescent boy, with brown skin and dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. He wore the same kind of Hexside uniform that Willow did, only his sleeves and leggings were light blue.

But the second he said the word 'humans', Willow stuttered in a slight panic. "Humans?! Pttf! I haven't seen any?! What?!" She put on a not-so-convincing act, but the young boy seemed more focused on the magazine that he was reading, which oddly looked like one from Earth.

"Did you know… that humans nail barbed wire to their kids' teeth?!" The boy showed a picture of a girl with braces on her teeth to Willow before looking back at it. "But why?! Maybe… to make them magnetic!"

"Wait… really?!" Sprig questioned from inside the cauldron.

"You wish!" Anne replied, also from inside. "Those things are torture devices! Worst year I ever had, wearing them!"

"But they are good for storing treats." Luz put in.

Willow winced at that, while the boy looked in confusion at the sound of the voices. "Okay Augustus, I'm gonna tell you something. But you have to be cool."

"I can be spool! I-I-I mean… cool!" The boy, whose name was Augustus, said.

"Okay… Abomination… rise!" Willow said.

The tethered and slimed trio of Luz, Anne, and Sprig arose from the cauldron. "Ta-da!" Luz sung.

"We're a three-headed Abomination!" Sprig said.

"And you can call us Cerberus!" Luz added.

"Now give us some brains to eat! Rar!" Anne growled playfully.

"Guys, Abominations don't act like that!" Willow told them.

Augustus dropped his magazine as he blinked at what he saw. Only two sets of eyes and limbs… round ears… "No… No…" He felt his own ears in disbelief. "…It couldn't be…"

"Luz, Anne, Sprig, meet Augustus." Willow introduced. "He's the president of the Human Appreciation Society. Most witches wouldn't be able to recognize a human right away. But Augustus is an expert."

"Humans can meld together?! Unbelievable! And where are your gills?!" Augustus still couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"You guys have gills?!" Sprig questioned.

"No, we don't. And we're just tied together, dude." Anne said to Augustus, holding onto the root that kept all three together.

"I think I knew someone named Augustus back on Earth." Luz said. "We called him 'Gus'."

"Gus? Nickname?! Human nickname?! Gus?!" The boy was blooming with excitement. "Call me it! Wow! Gus! This is the best day of my life…"

"Awe, what a cute little fanboy." Anne joked.

The bell then rang, which sounded more like a demonic scream. "I gotta get to spelling class!" The boy, now nicknamed Gus, said as he picked up his magazine and wand. "See you at lunch!" He ran off.

"He seems cool." Luz said.

"Yeah, Augustus is pretty cool." Willow said before looking to the three. "Now into the darkness you go, Cerberus."

Luz gave a dog-like growl, causing Anne and Sprig to laugh, as they sank into the cauldron again.

"Awe, who's a good Prince Junior? Who's a good guy?" King gushed as he and Polly each waved a dog treat in front of the baby trash slug.

"Hey Mr. and Mrs. Wiggles, you're not gonna teach it anything doing that." Eda said from a table that she and Hop Pop sat at as they each had a drink in their hands.

"It's called 'positive reinforcement' and it works wonders!" King argued.

"Pretty sure Hop Pop couldn't put the words 'positive' and 'reinforcement' together if he tried." Polly joked.

"I'm within ear-shot, ya know!" Hop Pop himself said with a glare. "And positive reinforcement is fine, but there's a fine line between that and spoiling the kids like what you two are doing."

Polly rolled her eyes as she fed the trash slug the dog treat in her hand. The second it ate it; Prince Junior grow twice its original size and was now bigger. "See? Mama's baby needs his nutrients. Gotta grow big and strong if you're gonna conquer the world!"

"And you can start by attacking Eda and Hop Pop!" King ordered, pointing the treat in his hand towards the two adults, but Prince Junior seemed more focused on the treat than anything else. "Knock over his drink! Mess up her hair!"

"Oh no. Please stop." Eda said sarcastically, taking a sip of her drink.

"Why are you two so relaxed? What happened to the kids you guys were watching over?" Polly questioned.

"Yeah, for all we know, they're not even loyal to you anymore!" King added as Prince Junior took the treat from King and swallowed it.

"Ha, ha, you wish." Eda smirked before she and the old frog next to her did notice how the three kids in question were nowhere to be seen. "But yeah where are they?"

"Not that you mention it… it's been relatively peaceful since this morning." Hop Pop commented before looking worried. "...And that scares me."

Hexside

Willow's class, Abomination 101, was now in-session. The teacher in charge was Professor Hermonculus, a very short, middle-aged, witch who was being held up by his own personal Abomination. He was currently looking at one female student's abomination, which looked like a pile of sludge with its head sticking out from the top and a dozen feet dangling out from every angle, including on top of its head.

"Hmmm, too many toenails in unexpected places. Fail." Professor Hermonculus judged, leading to the student to sulk as her Abomination sunk back into its cauldron and she wheeled it away back to her desk. "Pathetic. The biggest Abominations are all of you!" He pointed to a majority of his students, all except the smirking Amity who sat in front of Willow. "If the next Abomination is a failure, everyone gets extra homework for a month!"

"Ah man!"

"Extra homework?! Not again!"

The professor cleared his throat before speaking again. "And the next one to come up is…"

"Excuse me, sir." Amity stood up, raising her hand. "But I am ready to present my Abomination. Rise!" She commanded, allowing her Abomination to rise from her cauldron and take a graceful stance like a ballerina.

Hermonculus laughed. "I've always saved the best for last, Amity. You'll have to wait your turn. How about… Willow."

The girl in question was already looking nervous, especially with her fellow students' reaction, pulling her hood over her head once again.

"Not Half-a-Witch."

"Great. Homework for a month."

The trio lightly peaked out from under the lid. "Don't listen to them, Willow." Luz said.

"Yeah, we got this." Sprig agreed.

"So, let's show those jerks what we got and rub it in their faces." Anne grinned.

This did bring up Willow's confidence as she nodded, got off her desk and wheeled her cauldron over to the front of the classroom for presentation. "Okay guys, just like we planned." Luz whispered to Anne and Sprig, both nodding seriously.

"Uh… Abomination… Rise!" Willow commanded.

The lid was punched open as an elastic tongue was shot up to cling to the ceiling, allowing the 'three-headed Abomination' to rise up before setting foot on the ground, Sprig retracting his tongue before he and the other two put on zombie-like expressions.

"Ta-da!" All three said at the same time.

All of the students, especially Amity, gasped at what they saw.

"Hmm, interesting." Hermonculus observed. "Why does it have three heads?"

"To… ensure that it doesn't have any blind spots and can't be ambushed." Willow came up with an answer as she pulled out a rock. "Watch. Abomination, defend!" She threw a rock at her 'Abomination', towards Anne's side as she smacked her hand to knock the rock down. That already got all the students interested. "Abomination, bow." Luz bowed forward, with Anne doing her best to make sure they were all properly balanced. "Abomination, fetch my book from my desk." Sprig opened his mouth to shoot out his tongue, Amity scooting out of the way in shock as she saw the tongue snatch Willow's book and pull it back for Willow to catch.

"Most impressive." Hermonculus smiled. "But does it speak…?"

The four didn't respond right away, until Luz took the lead. "I… be your… Abomination…" She turned them around to face Willow directly. "But you are… Amomination!" She grasped Willow's hands and nuzzled her cheek against hers.

Amity's jaw hung open while the other students smiled.

"Awe!"

"That's cute!"

Hermonculus laughed. "Amomination! Splendid wordplay! A Plus!" He painted an A+ on Luz's forehead, while most of the students cheered.

"Yay!"

"Go Willow!"

All except Amity, who crossed her arms and scowled.

Luz, Anne, and Sprig all smiled with the Thai girl winking towards Willow, who smiled back and nodded.

After the last of the presentations, the bell rang, signaling the end of class. Willow wheeled her cauldron out of the classroom, only to be briefly stopped by her teacher just outside the doorway.

"Wonderful work today, Willow! Looks like we have a new top student!" The professor congratulated.

That happened to be said just as Amity walked out, who gasped as soon as she heard that. Especially so as Hermonculus took the badge off her uniform and walked it over to Willow.

"B-But…" She tried to reach out, only to watch as the teacher pinned the badge to Willow's uniform.

The girl smiled in surprise. She was only hoping for just a passing grade, not a top student badge. It was certainly a shock, but a welcome surprise.

"Uh… thank you, sir." She smiled, with the teacher nodding before his Abomination walked him away.

"Hey!" Amity came at her from behind, startling Willow. She looked and pointed back-and-forth, wondering if Amity was talking to her, which she was. "Last time I saw you, your Abomination was mush! What did you do?!"

"I uh…" Willow tried to think of an answer. "Saw that you were right. I couldn't make a perfect Abomination like you, Amity. So, I made more imperfections to try and balance it all out."

"An interesting approach, but not very convincing. I've got my eyes you, Half-a-Witch." She warned as she backed away, making sure she was looking at her. "That badge is mine." She turned to the corner, still backing up and knocking into a student before disappearing.

To say Willow was concerned would be an understatement. "Uh oh… I think Amity is on to us."

"I reiterate… what's her problem?" Sprig questioned in annoyance from inside the cauldron.

"Just at typical bully. You sure I can't just punch her?" Anne asked, cracking her own knuckles.

"I don't wanna go that far…" Luz winced. "Maybe we can just wait out the rest of the day and nothing should go wrong. Right?"

Back at the Owl House, Eda had slammed the door open from the inside, bashing Hooty's face into the wall just as Hop Pop came around the corner. "Well? You seen the kids?" She asked the old frog.

"They ain't in the tower. You?" He responded.

"Not inside." Eda replied, only to feel a tug on her leg. She looked down to see the Salamander pulling on her leg with his mouth and pointing his tail in a certain direction. "What? You know where they are?" The Salamander nodded.

Hop Pop picked up the Salamander in his hands. "Alright, show us." The Salamander took a pointing position like a dog with his nose pointing forward. The two walked in the direction where the Salamander was telling them to go before he turned towards the left, prompting the two to turn there. But as they walked more down the path in question, the more Eda began to recognize the direction.

"Hang on a second… I know this path… I used to take it all the time to…" The Owl Lady gasped in terror. "Oh no…"

"What?" Hop Pop questioned, only to look in shock as he saw Eda run in the direction she was worried about.

"No, no, no, no, no, no!" She was in a panic with Hop Pop running to catch up to her while the Salamander clung to his shoulder. The two soon came to the side of a certain building, the one place Eda dreaded coming back to.

"What is this place?" Hop Pop questioned as he saw Eda press her face against a window, prompting Hop Pop to do the same as they both looked inside to see a group of toddler witches and demons with a lady spider-demon teacher speaking in front of them.

"Okay everyone. Recite your runes."

"Krom. Zix. Elgrim. Zenomide…" All the toddlers recited.

Hop Pop gasped. "A single adult…? Teaching a group of children…? Oh don't tell me…!"

"No… Blind obedience…!" Eda paled as she and Hop Pop ran around to another window, where they saw teenage students in a different classroom.

"Heximal system time. Let's get memorizin'!" The teacher encouraged.

"No…" Hop Pop muttered. "Kids learning something new…!"

"No… Pointless busy work…!" Eda was already dreading.

Over at the next window, Hop Pop and Eda both saw something that really made their hearts sink. They saw their kids! Luz, Anne, and Sprig, all sitting next to Willow and taking notes in class. Luz and Sprig were clearly enjoying themselves, and even Anne looked a little interested herself. Just like that… all of their confidence and hope dropped to zero.

"No… No! We lost them! To magic school!" Hop Pop slid down the building and cried out dramatically.

"Why?! School!" Eda cried out in the same manner.

It was now lunch time. Willow met with Gus in the cafeteria as her cauldron was wheeled at the end of the table with the three inside poking their heads out.

"So, you're from another world that's neither the Human nor the Demon Realm?!" Gus said excitably to Sprig.

"Oh yeah! Amphibia's great! You guys would love it!" Sprig told them. "Especially Willow, little miss plant queen!"

"Awe, shucks." Willow blushed with a smile. "So, what do you guys think about Hexside?"

"It's awesome!" Sprig grinned.

"I love it!" Luz beamed.

"Eh, it's at least better than our old school back home." Anne waved off. "Uniforms are kinda cool though. But why is everyone wearing different colors?" She asked, looking at all the colors the students were wearing.

"The colors are supposed to represent each track, and what magic we practice." Willow explained as she pulled on her own sleeve. "Orchid color is for the Abomination track."

"Light blue is for Illusions." Gus pulled on his own sleeve. "We also got yellow for Potions, orange for Beast Keeping, red for Bard…"

"Bard… like music?" Luz peeked at that. "As in… magic through music?" She looked to Anne in particular, who seemed to get where Luz was going with this as her own eyes widened in realization.

"Yeah." Gus confirmed. "Musical instruments, signing even, pretty much everything that makes a sound."

"What about a music box?!" Anne asked eagerly.

"Music… box…?" Willow questioned as she and Gus looked to each other in confusion. "Is that a human thing?"

Luz and Anne shared surprised glances with each other. "Its… a little man-made box that can record and play music." The former explained.

Sprig was confused for a moment before he realized what they were talking about. "Wait…are you guys talking about the…"

"Ssshh!" Anne shushed him.

"Well, neither of us are in the Bard track, so we wouldn't know." Willow answered.

"But I know someone who is." Gus said. "I could borrow one of their books to see what kind of tools they use. Maybe there might be something on a music box there. Would that help?"

"Oh, god yes! Thank you!" Anne said with excitement, much to the two witch students concern and confusion. What was so important about a box that could apparently record music? That was something Luz took notice herself.

"Anne and I just have a… personal project involving a music box that we have." She explained. "If you guys know anything, it could be helpful."

"In that case, I could get that book to you by the end of the day, if that's alright." Gus offered.

"That would help. Thanks, Gus." Luz smiled while Sprig pulled Anne into the cauldron talk to her privately.

"Why not just tell them about the music box?" He asked.

"Cause we still don't know anything about it." Anne answered. "It's the reason I'm stuck here, and… I don't want anything like this getting out until we no more. Luz was kidnapped by bad demon before, and if there are other bad guys in this world, I don't want them finding out about a magic relic that can send people to different worlds."

"I don't think Willow and Gus are bad. They seem nice." Sprig said.

"Yeah, they are. But we just met them. And I still wanna learn more before we get them in involved. And if it ends up being too dangerous…" Anne looked away with worry and sadnness. "I may have lost two of my best friends to that box, I don't wanna lose anyone else."

Sprig looked with sympathy and seemed to understand what Anne was saying. "Okay. But, if they can help…"

"We'll talk to them about it. Just not right now." Anne said.

"Okay." Sprig accepted as they came back up as Gus pulled out his sandwich.

"Hey, do humans eat PB and J?" He offered.

Luz and Anne both gasped at that. "PB and J?" The latter questioned. "As in… peanut butter and jelly? Like butter made from peanuts? And jelly made from fruit?"

"Yep." Gus confirmed as he split his sandwich in half and offered one half to his newfound friends.

"Oh yes! Real non-bug food!" Anne eagerly took one half.

"Give me some too, please!" Luz said as Anne split her half into three pieces, offering one to Luz while Sprig used his tongue to snag and eat another piece as Anne at the last one before they all sunk in.

Willow, however, looked nervous. "I don't know Gus… If Amity saw that…"

Suddenly, Amity herself jumped on the table, in a very aggressive fashion. "I saw that! Abominations don't eat!" She exclaimed to a shocked and terrified Willow.

"Guys, nobody act weird!" Luz whispered to Anne and Sprig. "Just act Abomination!"

"I know you're in there! You can't hide from me!" Amity called into the cauldron while the three inside put on their mindless act, but this also drew the attention of the other students in the cafeteria. "What are you?! Who are you!?" She reached in and grabbed Luz by the shirt, pulling all three up and shaking them. "I want answers!"

'Urge to punch rising!' Anne tried to control herself, her fists clenching tightly.

"Amity Blight!" Professor Hermonculus scolded as he happened to be in the cafeteria too.

"Huh…?" Her face went from angered to shock as the teacher approached.

"I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this…? This is just sad." He shook his head in disapproval, much to Amity's further shock.

"But I… no… look at it!" She shook the 'three-headed Abomination' in her grasp, while the trio kept up their mindless act, complete with Sprig letting his long tongue dangle out.

"Report to Principal Bump's office!" Hermonculus ordered.

"B-but… B-b-but… But…" Amity stuttered? Report to the principal's office? Her?! She'd never gotten in trouble at school like this before! Ever! If her mother found out...

"Now!" Hermonculus left no room for arguments.

With an emotional grunt, Amity shocked the 'Abomination' back into the cauldron and ran out of the cafeteria, with Professor Hermonculus following to make sure she went straight there.

Once she was gone, Anne breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally! Good riddance to her!"

"I… don't know…" Willow looked uncertain.

"What? I mean, she's getting in trouble, right?" Anne questioned.

"I don't want anyone to get in trouble, not even her." Willow said. "Plus, you guys don't know Amity. She doesn't give up so easily… except on what's really important." She looked away at that last part.

This caused Luz and Sprig to look to each other with concern and worry.

Back at the Owl House, King and Polly continued to toss dog treats at the ever-growing trash slug known as Prince Junior, who was currently the size of a car.

"Roll over, yes!" King ordered as he continued to feed the trash slug.

"Yes, grow! Get big and powerful!" Polly stated as she tossed another treat into Prince Junior's mouth, both she and King backing up as it moved forward. "Powerful to crush everything in your path!"

"That's a good juggernaut!" King praised. And even though she and Polly kept tossing Prince Junior the dog treats from their respective boxes, they also happened to notice Eda and Hop Pop arriving, with the former looking away with a scowl and crossed arms while the latter sulked. The Salamander was also present, observing the enlarged trash slug with caution.

"Well, well, look whose here?" Polly taunted. "Mr. and Mrs. Our-Kids-Will-Never-Abandon-Us."

"By the looks on your faces, I can tell that Luz, Anne, and Sprig have found some place else to learn, while Prince Junior is still by our side." King gestured to the trash slug. "And you know what that means, right Polly?"

"We won, baby!" Polly cheered. "Eat it, ya old folks! Boom!" She gloated to her grandfather and Eda.

Hop Pop sighed with defeat. "...We lost."

"Yeah. You won alright." Eda grumbled. "You two got a giant solider thing, and we got nothing. Congrats!"

"Oh, Eda don't say that." King said with faux sincerity. "At least you have this!" He presented Eda a newly made shame-hat, a paper cone hat with the word 'SHAME' written on it in red. He laughed as she took the hat with a growl and stomped over to the shack on the side of the Owl House.

"Better get your bags packed, old man." Polly gloated to Hop Pop as he walked away dejectedly. "Enjoy your time as Bessie's roommate!" She called to him as he rounded the corner of the building.

King and Polly both laughed together. "I am so funny!" King exclaimed.

"Not half as funny as me." Polly wiped a tear from her eye as Prince Junior loomed over the two. "Ah, winning feels good."

"Well, Prince Junior, you're training is complete." King said, turning to the large trash slug. "Go forth, make the world tremble at your feet! Er… Worm stubs!"

"Make Mama proud you walking disaster." Polly added. However, Prince Junior wasn't moving and just simply stared at them. "Uh…"

"…Go forth…?" King repeated, sounding a bit nervous and unsure himself, but Prince Junior still wasn't moving.

"Oh, right. Treats." Polly went to her box and tried to pull something, only to fee that the box was empty. "Uh King… you got any treats left?"

The little demon held his box upside down and shook it, but all that came out were crumbs. "No… You…?" He asked meekly.

"Nuh-uh." Now Polly was looking nervous, especially as Prince Junior loomed directly over them, rather aggressively and growled, much to their fright. "Uh oh…"

Hexside

Willow wheeled her cauldron into an empty classroom. "Okay, you guys can come out."

"Ugh, freaking finally!" Anne exclaimed as she, Luz, and Sprig, having untied themselves from the root that they used to keep themselves together, emerged from the cauldron. She stretched her arms and legs out. "This was fun and all, but I never wanna spend a whole day in that cauldron again."

"Yeah... I'm a sweaty Abomination..." Luz said as she stretched too.

"Are you sure it's okay for us to be out?" Sprig asked.

"Totally. I got a free period, and nobody uses this classroom during this time." Willow confirmed. "Thanks again for what you guys did. I really appreciate it." She said sincerely.

"No problem. I'm just that glad that we could help." Luz smiled back.

"Hey!" Gus came in with a book in his hand. "I got that book you guys wanted." He handed said book to Anne as she looked at the title with Luz and Sprig hanging over her shoulders.

"Hmm, 'Tools and Instruments for Bard track'." She read the title aloud as she and her friends opened and skimmed through the pages. "Let's see… they got guitars, violins, harps, flutes, oh hey, even a saxophone. That's pretty cool."

"Looks like they also got drums and keyboards too." Sprig noticed.

"Magic keyboards? Now I can get behind that." Luz said with a smile. "Bet Marcy and Sasha would love this too."

They reached the end of the book, but didn't find what they were looking for. "Ah what? No music boxes?!" Anne complained. "Are there any other books?" She asked Gus.

"N-no… and like I said, we're not Bard track students, we don't know all about that kind of stuff." Gus answered.

"Sorry." Willow winced.

Anne sighed with defeat. "Well, it was worth a shot."

"Hey, we'll figure it out." Sprig encouraged, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Look on the bright side." Luz added. "We got Willow a passing grade, and we got to see magic school up close! I'd say that's worth celebrating! High-five!"

Anne chuckled. Leave it to Luz to be optimistic. Man she's glad that she found her. "Yeah, high-five." She shared one with Luz and Sprig, the two sharing it with each other before all three held their hands out to Gus and Willow, both just looked confusion with Gus shrugging.

"You don't know what high-fives are?" Anne looked in genuine surprise.

"Slap the hand." Luz demonstrated as she and Anne shared another high-five. "It's a human thing."

"We use our tongues sometimes in Amphibia, but apparently humans only use hands for that." Sprig added.

"Yeah, in our world, tongues are used for… something more intimate." Anne said, looking away partially. She and Luz both held out their hands towards their newfound friends.

Gus walked up towards Luz first and cautiously slapped his hand to Luz, looking away like he was expecting something bad to happen. But the second he made contact, he felt something. Something… intriguing. He repeated the same thing with Anne and felt that same sensation, as he soon smiled as he repeated high-fiving between the two human girls.

"Oh… Oh my…" He continued to high-five between them as his smile grew. "Oh man… what a rush!"

Willow smiled at this, happy to see Gus making new friends. "Hey!" Sprig hopped over to her, on the side of her wheelbarrow. "Let's not let them hog all the fun! Human hand high-five!" He offered his own hand to Willow, who cautiously smacked her hand to Sprig's. She then looked at her own palm and found herself smiling and laughing before giving a firmer high-five to Sprig.

Just then, the door to the classroom was opened rather hard, leading to Willow and Gus to quickly run in front of their new friend trio. Amity was the one who opened the door. But without saying another word, and giving a condescending smirk, she cleared the way for another individual.

This was an older man and light-beige skin. He wore a long black gown with a gold yoke, a black cape, gold trim at the sleeves and cape hem, along with a blue stole draped over his shoulders and black pointed shoes. But what stood out the most was that there appeared to be some kind of imp-creature over his head.

"Good afternoon students."

"P-Principal Bump…!" Willow stuttered, while having her hand behind her back, she quickly spun a magic circle to discreetly tie Luz, Anne, and Sprig back together with the root they were using before. Getting the message, the trio put on the mindless act again as they fell to their knees.

Stepping aside with bows, Willow and Gus allowed Principal Bump to observe the 'three-headed Abomination'. He felt under Luz's chin for a moment before feeling around Anne's hair and then moved to gently pinch Sprig's cheeks, the pink frog doing his best not to move.

"Hmm, interesting. This head feels different than the others. A bit more… moist." He observed.

'Ugh! Curse my moisty frog skin!' Sprig thought in fear.

"Abomination, rise." Bump commanded, allowing the trio to stand, albeit cautiously. "Abomination, lie."

"Uh… Viral fame is a worthy pursuit…" Luz spoke first.

"Global warming is a conspiracy." Anne added.

"Herons are vegetarians…" Sprig put in too.

"Oh no, Abomination." Bump said with a slight laugh. "How strange for it to get the command wrong. I mean, 'lie down'." He pointed to a nearby table.

The three exchanged nervous glances as they moved towards the table and lied down, with Sprig's head facing up, Luz looking away from the group as part of her face was on the table, and Anne was in the same scenario in the opposite direction.

"Ow…" Luz muttered.

"Sorry…" Sprig muttered back.

"So very life-like. And with three heads… I will say that it's certainly unique." Bump observed before speaking to Willow directly, putting a hand on her shoulder and walking her closer to the table. "When Ms. Blight told me about your Abomination, I had to come by, see what it's made of."

Anne caught a glimpse of Amity's condescending smirk and glared hard. 'Urge to punch… rising!' She clenched her fist tightly.

"Uh… I have the list of ingredients right here…" Willow reached into her pocket.

"No." Bump stopped her. "We were hoping… for a closer look." He said as he pulled out a knife, this caused all three of their pupils to shrink, and it took every ounce if will power to keep them from panicking. "Willow, I'll allow you the first cut."

He handed the girl the knife, which she took with a nervous smile before walking over to the 'Abomination'. "Uh… you can't just cut open a human or frog… can you…?" The three shook their heads.

'Well, cover was nice while it lasted.' Anne thought of an escape plan. 'Maybe Sprig could tongue his face, and we'll bust through the window…!'

"Wait, Principal Bump!" Gus got his attention, and everyone else's as he stood by three cauldrons, all containing Abomination goop. "Uh… High-five!" With a smack, he knocked down all three cauldrons, leading to three Abominations to form and move towards the Principal, who quickly raised his hand to control them, but it was a good enough distraction. "Run!" He told them.

Anne ripped the roots keeping them tied together as Willow grabbed Luz's hand and they all left the room as fast as they could.

"They're getting away!" Amity called out as Bump brought the Abominations under his control.

"No, the intruders won't get far." The principal of Hexside said firmly as he walked towards a wall, spun a magic circle and pressed it on the wall. The magic circle glowed brighter as several bright red runes began to spread all over the walls and beyond the room and into the hallways.

Willow led the trio through the hallways as quickly as she could, rounding a corner that would lead them straight to the exit before they all took a moment to catch their breaths.

"Why didn't we just jump through the window?!" Anne questioned.

"Guys, I'm sorry! This is my fault!" Luz said.

"Your fault? We we're all in on this!" Sprig said.

"And the whole thing was my idea anyway!" Anne added. "If anyone's at fault, it's me!"

"But this only happened cause I wanted to see what a real magic school was like!" Luz said.

"Me too!" Sprig said. "We're all at fault, equally! Like it or not!"

"Well… you guys like it… right…? That's what you said." Willow said, hoping to inject some optimism.

"Yeah… it's lovely." Luz smiled.

"Really cool." Sprig added, smiling as well.

"It's okay, I guess. Definitely more interesting than our old school" Anne put in, nudging Luz with a grin, causing the two to laugh slightly while Sprig and Willow all smiled.

"Okay, we should get out of here before…" Willow began, only to be interrupted as the red runes spread along the hallway walls and to the archways that led to the exit, creating a glowing red energy barrier at each archway, sealing off their only path to the exit, much to their worry. "Bump seals us in…"

"Again, should have gone through the window!" Anne reminded.

Back at the Owl House, Hop Pop was in the tower, packing the last of his things into a bag, thinking how it would come to this. How did he lose Sprig like this? Or… was it his fault? Was he being too strict? The boy was naturally curious about this new world he was in. It was dangerous, sure. But it was also interesting, and there was at least a reliable person here that he could trust who knew this world. He was confident that Eda wouldn't let Sprig, Polly, or the two humans he took in get hurt. So why was he so paranoid? It was probably because of the Calamity Box that he read about, or it was at least part of it. He was so worried about something going wrong, he didn't really think about anything else. Maybe they could…

His thoughts were interrupted as the old frog felt a pull on his pants. "Huh?" He looked down to see the Salamander pulling rather hard with his front legs. "Oh, it's you. You want something?" Suddenly, the Salamander covered himself in its multi-colored flames and transformed into his larger dragon-like form, much to Hop Pop's surprise. Before Hop Pop could say anything, the transformed Salamander ducked under his legs and hauled the old frog up onto its back. "Whoa, hey! What's going on!" It bolted out of the tower as fast as it could.

At the same time, Eda sulked as she held her own legs in the shed, still wearing her shame hat, with Owlbert being the only thing to keep her company as the owl Palisman sat on her shoulders and gave a comforting hoot.

"Thanks, Owlbert." The witch smiled before it faded. "Luz and her friends really wanted to go to magic school… and here I was telling them that it was a bad idea, telling them that magic is wild and unpredictable. Sure, the whole Coven system is rigged, we both know it… but I guess I was no different, telling those kids what they can or can't do with magic. Nothing wrong with at least having them see what magic school is like."

"Hoot." Owlbert responded, telling Eda that her heart was still in the right place.

"Yeah… I just wish that the kids knew that." She said, looking down.

"Help! Help! Help!" Two high-pitched screams came from the other side of the door as Polly and King both ran in and slammed the door shut. Polly tried to move as many items as she could in front of the door to barricade it while King leapt into Eda's arms, much to hers and Owlbert's surprise.

The door was banged on from the other side by something rather large as Polly tried to keep the barricade up. "This is mutiny! Prince Junior, I'm giving you to the count of three to back off or face the wrath of Polly Plantar!" The tadpole warned. "One!" The door was banged on again. "Two…" Polly was starting to get a little more nervous, especially with another bang. "Two and a half…?" She shivered, the shivering growing as the door was banged on yet again.

"Trouble with your student, eh?" Eda asked with a knowing grin.

"Yes! Yes!" King exclaimed, curling up more into Eda's arms as the door was banged on even harder.

"Are you sure you want my help? Maybe he only wants more of your brilliant lessons." Eda said, enjoying her own use of sarcasm.

"For the love of Frog, lady!" Polly exclaimed just as the door and barricade was blown away, knocking Polly down and sending her rolling towards Eda and King, Prince Junior moving into the shack and grabbing both of the little ones by their tails with its mouth. "Ah! We're sorry! Help us! I'll do all of the chores at the farm and your house too!" Polly pleaded.

"And you can call me Mr. Wiggles!" King pleaded too as he and Polly were being dragged out.

Throwing off her shame hat, Eda stood with pride as Owlbert went into his staff form into his owner's hands right before she jammed the staff into Prince Junior's face, getting him to let go of King and Polly, both of them quickly running behind Eda.

At the same time, the Salamander galloped outside with Hop Pop riding onto his back, the transformed multi-colored Palisman than charged directly into Prince Junior, ramming his head into the side of the trash slug with enough force to send it crashing into a nearby tree. Eda and the two little ones ran outside to join Hop Pop as he set off the Salamander, which took a defensive stance and hissed at the recovering Prince Junior, flames coming out of his neck like a dewlap.

"Well Eda, this is your world, your type of critter, how do we deal with it?" Hop Pop asked, taking a defensive stance as he stood by Eda's side, ready for a fight.

Eda smiled, seeing that Hop Pop was trusting her with this. "Trash slugs are aquatic, like you guys. What's the best way to combat something like that?"

"You gotta…" Polly gasped as the answer came to her. "Dehydrate it!"

"Salt!" King realized. "Salt can dry it out like it did that other one!"

"Bingo!" Eda confirmed as the group stood together. "Alright gang, here's what we're gonna do…"

Hexside

Willow led Luz, Anne, and Sprig to a central atrium, the two currently on the second floor. But when they were going to make it to the next hallway, their path was cut off by another energy barrier.

Anne growled as she spotted a nearby window and tried to ram her shoulder in it to bust through, only for that same energy barrier to appear and bounce Anne back. "Oh come on!" She complained as Luz and Sprig helped her up, the group gasped as they saw Bump was already there, controlling four Abominations. They ran to the other side of the atrium and hid behind a pillar. "Don't you guys have an armory of magic weapons or something?!"

"Not really…!" Willow replied.

"Doors are sealed off, windows are sealed off, Abominations coming from every direction... We're trapped!" Sprig exclaimed.

"Oh, this is awful! I don't know what to do!" Willow sulked against the pillar. "Amity's right! I'm just Half-a-Witch Willow!"

"Amity can stuff it, you're Two-Witches-Rolled-in-One, Willow!" Anne told her firmly.

"Anne's right! I've seen what you can do, and you're amazing! You're strong and powerful and great!" Luz added. "And someone once said that great witches are resourceful!" She reached into her pocket to pull what she could, hoping that it would at least do something, including the slime ball that Eda gave her.

Willow gasped as soon as she saw that one particular object. "That's it!"

"What? You mean that little slime ball?" Sprig questioned. "That's just garbage we found from a dead trash slug."

"No, it's not garbage! It's a seed!" Willow revealed with a smile.

"And you can use Plant magic…!" Anne saw where this was going. "Can you work with this?"

"I think I can… No, I know I can!" Willow confirmed. "Thank Titan you had this on you!"

Luz smiled. "Yeah… thank goodness someone told me to hang onto it." She looked away with a sad yet grateful expression, prompting Anne to put a hand on her shoulder with a supportive smile of her own.

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's see what this seed can do!" Sprig said enthusiastically.

Willow put the seed in her own lap and spun a green magic circle over it, channeling her power directly into the seed. "Please… grow!"

In that instant, a massive cluster of thorny vines shot up from the tiny seed and began to spread along the ceiling. Luz, Anne, and Sprig all looked in amazement, but Anne quickly pulled both of her friends down as the thorny vines shot past them to attack the approaching Abominations from both sides. One was impaled and sliced apart, the other three were likewise impaled and smashed into the walls nearby as the thorny vines advanced and combined together, moving towards the surprised Bump as he was caught off guard and quickly overwhelmed. The vines ensnared him and pushed him straight up to slam into the ceiling rather hard.

Bump opened his eyes and gasped at what he saw. The thorny vines had not only overwhelmed all of his Abominations, but completely covered the entire atrium on both floors. Vines wrapped around all the pillars, covered all of the walls and most of the ceiling. Some even had roses grow from them with petals falling off. It honestly looked rather beautiful.

Rather than be angry, the Principal of Hexside was beyond impressed. "Remarkable…"

"Whoa…!" Sprig's eyes sparkled at the incredible use of magic. "All of that from one seed…?"

"Holy crap…!" Anne muttered looking around in amazement before looking directly towards Willow, seemed just as amazed herself. "Dude! That was awesome!" She pulled Willow into a hug. "Forget Half-a-Witch, you're Mega-Witch Willow! Yeah, that's less of a mouthful than Two-Witches-Rolled-in-One, so we'll go with that one!"

"Yeah, Mega-Witch Willow!" Luz hugged her too, along with Sprig.

Willow was rather shocked at this. Nobody ever praised her for this use of magic before, aside from her dads. They always admired her Plant magic and how good she was with it but signed her onto the Abomination track because there were more career options at the end of it. But that wasn't her. Abomination magic wasn't her strength, Plant magic was. And it impressed her newfound friends so much that they actually considered her a strong and powerful witch, something that none of her peers called her. She soon found herself smiling and blushing at their praise.

She also noticed the energy barriers blocking the hallways all vanished. "The seal is gone!" She told them. "Everybody hold on!" She brought a cluster of vines directly under all four of them like a platform, prompting Anne, Sprig, and Luz to hold onto Willow even tighter as the vines lifted them up from the second floor and brought them to the main level, giving them a straight path to the exit. But before they could reach it…

"Not so fast!" An enraged Amity stood in their way.

"Are you kidding me right now!?" Anne exclaimed.

"I'm not letting you get away so easily!" Amity ripped off the vine entangled around her waist. "I. Want. My. Badge! Abominations seize!"

Two Abominations arose from behind the group, forcing them to split up. One Abomination had Luz backed against the wall, but Sprig quickly hopped and stuck to the wall above Luz and shot himself directly into the Abomination like a torpedo, blasting it apart and allowing Luz a chance to run.

Anne grabbed Willow's hand and ran from another Abomination, while Anne glared at the angered Amity. "All this for a stupid badge?!" She stopped, turned around and punched the Abomination to pieces before gunning straight for Amity, moving faster than the witch girl could anticipate and quickly closing the gap. "You want a star?! I'll give you a star!" She slugged Amity in the face, knocking her to the ground. "There! Now you're seeing stars! Let's go!" She told all of her friends, who regrouped together as they bolted for the exit.

Amity, however, pulled herself back up, holding her right eye where she was punched, and reformed one Abomination, which appeared to block the quartet's path.

Willow acted quickly and spun another magic circle to direct and control all the vines in the area to ensnare the Abomination. "Get out of here!"

"Come on, we can take em!" Anne stated.

"We're not leaving you!" Luz added, holding onto Willow who struggled to keep all this up.

"I may get detention… but you'll all get dissected!" She argued.

"Guys… we got more sludge monsters!" Sprig warned as the Abominations from before were all reforming.

"Go! Now!" Willow ordered as she brought a cluster of vines to grab all three of them, haul them over herself and the approaching Abominations and throw them out the main door, which shut behind them.

"Willow!" Luz called for her as she tried to pull the door open, with Anne helping to pull hard on the handles.

"It's locked up!" She banged her fist against the door.

"Come on! Let's go get Eda and Hop Pop!" Sprig stated.

"Hang tight, Willow! We'll be back with help!" Luz called out, hoping that she heard her as the trio ran away from the school.

Back at the Owl House, Prince Junior roared as it spat some melty orange substance at Eda and Hop Pop, both bounced around it and kept on their toes as they hopped up and around the large trash slug.

"Hey, over here!" Hop Pop picked up a rock and threw it at the slug, turning its attention to Hop Pop as it spat at it, but Hop Pop quickly hopped to the side to avoid it. This let Eda come in with Owlbert's staff form and slam it across the side of Prince Junior's face, drawing its attention again as it spat at Eda, who shielded herself by waving her hand to create a magic barrier to block the steamy substance.

As the two adults kept the trash slug distracted, King had managed to haul a barrel of salt through the window and pulled it towards the edge of the roof above the doorway of the Owl House. "I got it!" He called to them.

"Polly! Now!" Hop Pop called to his granddaughter.

"You heard the man! Let's light it up!" Polly said, riding atop of the Salamander's larger dragon-like form. The Salamander gave a small roar as it dashed straight to Prince Junior. Hop Pop and Eda dashed in opposite directions as the Salamander slammed its tail on the ground, creating a cluster of multi-colored flames before running around in a circle, creating a trail of rainbow fire as the Salamander stuck its tail to the ground as it ran.

Prince Junior roared in distress as it found itself surrounded in a ring of rainbow flames, giving King a direct shot.

"Pour the salt, King!" Eda told him.

"Baby boy…!" The little demon looked to the large trash slug. Just a few hours ago, it was a tiny baby, hatched from the egg in his hand. It looked up towards him… only to roar viciously. "I have no son! Eat salt!" He pushed the barrel down, knocking all of the alt into the trash slug's mouth.

The second it swallowed it, Prince Junior's whole body stiffened before it shivered and roared in pain… and shrunk back down to its original tiny size.

The Salamander slammed its tail to the ground again, causing the ring of fire to dissipate before Polly hopped off, the Salamander shrinking back to its smaller form soon after as the Polliwog rolled over to the now-tiny trash slug.

"You have betrayed us, Prince Junior! Betrayed your queen! You are exiled from the Owl House! Leave now or face my wrath! RAAAR!" Polly roared. The tiny trash slug whimpered as it scurried away.

"Yes! I did it! I'm amazing!" King danced, but slipped off the tiles and fell off the archway. Though Eda was quick to catch him. "Heh, heh, you helped too."

"Yeah… sorry we gave you such a hard time. You two are great role models." Polly said to both Hop Pop and Eda.

"Thanks Polly." Hop Pop smiled before looking away. "Just wished I could have done things differently with Sprig."

"Yeah, maybe I should have done differently with Luz, too." Eda said, looking away in the same manner.

"Eda! Hop Pop!"

Hearing a trio of familiar cries, the group turned around to see their kids dashing towards them, Luz reaching them first as she wrapped her arms around all four of them at once.

"Hey-hey-hey, what is this?!" Eda questioned with Luz's arms wrapped round her and everyone else. "I never understand when you do this!"

"Hop Pop! You won't believe what happened!" Sprig hopped onto his grandfather's head. "We saw a witch girl use Plant magic! Then we went to a magic school! It was fun! There was also a mean girl with purple mud! Then a big magic fight happened! That was not fun!"

"Your lesson worked, Eda! Keeping junk in my pocket saved our lives!" Luz exclaimed.

"Okay, long story short! We need your help! We gotta get to Hexside now!" Anne told the adults.

"Luz! Anne! Sprig!" Willow suddenly appeared on the scene, Gus right behind her, both quickly appearing to hug the trio, much to the confusion of Eda, Hop Pop, King and Polly, the Salamander and Owlbert both watching from a distance.

"Seriously, what is that?" Eda questioned, referring to the action of the hug.

"You guys are alive!" Sprig said with relief.

"Of course we're alive, nobody was trying to kill us." Gus said as they all broke off.

"You won't believe it! Everything is perfect now!" Willow said with joy.

"Saywha?" Anne questioned in confusion.

"You're right. I don't believe it." Luz added.

"Principal Bump was so impressed with my plant work, he's switching me to the Plant track! Look!" She snapped her fingers and spun around, the orchid-colored sleeves and leggings on her uniform turned to green.

"Yes! Wahoo!" Luz cheered as she hugged Willow.

"Nice! Green is definitely your color!" Anne pointed to her with a grin.

"And you're not in trouble…?" Sprig asked with caution and a bit of guilt.

"I did technically cheat on my assignment, so I am getting detention for a week… but I can live with that." Willow accepted. "I'm just glad that none of my new friends were hurt." She smiled.

"What about Amity?" Luz asked.

"Did that jerk got detention too?" Anne asked as well.

"Well, she didn't break any rules, so no." Willow replied with a shrug.

"Ah nuts." Anne looked away.

"But she did have to go to the Healing room to get that black eye of hers treated." Gus put in.

"Oh, please tell me you got a picture of that!" Anne hopped, grabbing Gus by the shoulders.

"No picture, but I can make an illusion of it." Gus spun his finger, creating a blue magic circle. This lead to the appearance of an illusion of Amity's head, her right eye being purple and swollen from Anne's punch.

"Heck yeah." Anne took a picture of that with her phone and chuckled as she saved it into her files. "That's totally my new profile pic."

"Welp, looks like everything worked out then." Sprig smiled. "Can't wait to sneak in the next time!"

That, however, caused Willow and Gus to wince. "A-about that…" The latter reached into his pocket to pull out three pieces of paper. "You guys are kinda… sorta… banned." He held out three posters with the words 'BANNED' on them. One had a picture of Luz waving with a friendly smile, the other had Sprig sticking his tongue upward while swinging, and the last one had Anne with an angry face as she pulled her fist back.

"Them's my kids!" Eda cheered with pride.

"Wow. Banned from school on your first day? Impressive." Polly smiled.

Luz and Sprig both looked in shock at that, but that shock faded as Anne put supporting hands on both their shoulders. "Hey, that's their loss. We're too good for an uptight school like that anyway. No offense." She quickly said to Gus and Willow, who didn't seem to mind.

"But we can come here, and teach you what we learned?" Willow offered.

"Awe, that would be nice." Luz smiled at that. "But… I have a pretty great teacher already." She said, looking towards Eda.

The Owl Lady blinked in surprise for a moment before a proud grin formed on her face. "Yeah, that's right!" Eda yanked the banned posters from Gus. "Luz is my student! Back off, Academy twerps!" She said playfully, causing nearly everyone to laugh. "Ah my babies' first wanted posters." She looked with pride towards the banned pictures of the trio.

"Hey, Hop Pop." Sprig spoke to his grandfather. "Sorry I didn't listen to you before."

"No Sprig, I'm the one who should be apologizing." Hop Pop said. "I was too strict with you. This is a whole new world were in, and we know next-to-nothing about it. I was so worried about what could go wrong, I didn't even think what could go right. Like… making new friends for instance." He said, referring to Willow and Gus. "So, what do you say later, we go explore more of this place?" He offered with a smile.

Sprig gasped with joy. "You mean it, Hop Pop?!"

"But only if Eda's with us the whole time. No wondering off on your own. Got that?" He pointed forward.

"You got it." Sprig accepted.

"Oh, one last thing, Hop Pop." Anne got his attention. "Think maybe we can bring Willow and Gus to Amphibia? They could really liven things up, especially with Willow's Plant magic. Seriously, she is a freaking juggernaut! She'd turn your farm into a fortress!"

"Aw shucks, Anne" Willow blushed at the praise.

"Well…" Hop Pop thought for a moment. "Only if they don't wander off too, and they stick close to us at all times while we're there."

"Awesome!" Anne pumped her fist before turning to her newfound friends. "Looks like we're gonna hang out a lot more often."

"Looks like it." Willow smiled. "Thanks again, by the way. For helping and sticking up for me."

"You got it, Mega-Witch." Anne nudged Willow on the side with her elbow, both girls laughing.

"So… that's a human thing too? Hitting people?" Gus asked.

Anne pulled Gus in close. "Buddy, I got lots of human things to tell you."

Luz smiled at that, happy to see that Anne was becoming friends with the friends that she made too. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her BFF photo, the one that had her, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy. As usual, she hoped they were okay. But now she was hoping to find them and introduce them to the friends she just made. She had a feeling they'd love them.

"We'll find them." Eda said from behind Luz, putting a hand on her head. "I promise."

"Thanks, Eda." Luz smiled, putting her own hand on top of Eda. "Thanks."

Done.

So, we got to meet Willow and Gus, as well as the pre-development Amity, and our friend trio of Luz, Sprig, and Anne got their first experience at Hexside. Like canon, Luz loves it. Sprig is also very excited to see and learn about magic too, and Anne… she's going with the flow as usual, but she's starting to take a liking to the Isles, hitting it off with Willow and Gus pretty quickly (even giving Willow the nickname 'Mega-Witch' as opposed to the mocking 'Half-a-Witch Willow'). And of course, she punched Amity in the face, giving her a black eye. Yeah, given how confrontational Anne can be, things are going to be very tense between those two going forward. They'll have a very unique and interesting relationship as they will eventually learn that while they may seem like polar opposites on the surface, they have more in common than they think.

We also got the sub-plot with the trash slug, which wasn't all that different from canon, though we got to see more of the Salamander in action, and there is still plenty more to come.

Up next… Luz, King, Anne, and the Plantars are going to discover a certain secret side to Eda… a more beastly side… and I can't wait for you all to read that. I've got a couple of surprises there.

Until then, stay safe and stay healthy out there. I love you guys.
