Walking down the halls of the abandoned buildling, Peter and his B.S.A.A. buddies were preparing themselves for anything.

For this group in particular, this was nothing out of the norm. They've encountered even creepier places in their time, though that did not mean they weren't nervous.

It'd be foolish to not feel anything. After all, not fearing death is ironically a quick way to die. Only fools treat their mortality like a game.

"So, Leon..." Twilight began. "You gave Peter a small idea of what to expect, but is there anything you can elaborate with?"

"There have been reports confirming that Albert Wesker has been spotted here with his nutty sidekick, Juri Han," Leon said. "You can thank Black Widow for getting information about that."

"It's a bit concerning how I got it, honestly," Natasha said.

"You said it was easy," Leon said.

"Yeah...too easy," Natasha said. "I feel more than confident in my spy skills, but this...it's like Wesker wasn't even trying to be discreet about this."

"So, you're saying that we might potentially be walking into a trap then?" Chris asked.

"That's one possibility," Natasha said.

"Oh, perfect..." Bruce lamented. "This is why I hate when things are too easy. There's always a price to pay."

"Hey, it's Wesker," Jill said. "You can't go after someone like him and expect a walk in the park. That's just not how things work."

"You can say that again," Leon said.

"We'll be fine," Peter said as they turned the corner. "There's a lot of us, and we've all had experience with this type of thing. For now-"

"Hold that thought," Chris said as he aimed his handgun. "Something's coming."

"I hear it too," Carlos aimed his assault rifle. "It's not one thing, it's a lot."

"Something tells me we gonna have a nice little reunion with our favorite monsters," Remy said as he twirled his staff.

Coming from the other end of the hall was a group of zombies running toward the heroes, each of them preparing to fight.

"Open fire!" Chris fired once and got a zombie in the head, killing it instantly as more began to come.

Carlos sprayed the zombies with his assault rifle, with Barrett doing the same with the gun attached to his hand.

Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire and Rebecca fired with their handguns, taking some steps back and bringing down each monster.

"Hey come on now," Remy held out his cards. "Which of you want to be put down for good? Ain't no getting up a second time!"

Remy blasted each zombie with his cards, blowing them to bits and leaving a mess each time.

"That's quite the mess you're leaving there, Gambit," Bruce said as he fired with his silencer handgun.

"All part of the game, mon ami," Remy said as he whacked a zombie that got in too close. "It ain't always pretty, dat's for sure."

"Got that right," Bruce said as he kept firing. "We've all seen some pretty terrible stuff in our time."

"Tell me about it," Leon said as he quickly pulled out his TMP to fire at some zombies. "I'm almost glad these are just zombies. The crap I went through with Las Plagas was not pleasent."

Chris fired at some with his shotgun, "Same with that crap in Africa."

Barrett fired away with his machine gun, "I got some stories of my own outside of these zombies."

"Hey Barrett, where are yer Avalanche buddies exactly?" Applejack asked as she whacked a zombie with a pipe. "Aside from Cloud and Tifa, wouldn't anyone else come by?"

"I can't promise that," Barrett said as he stopped firing a second to avoid overheating. "Cid had other business, I don't know where Vincent is, and Yuffie's at Balam Garden."

"Balam Garden? With those SeeD Mercenaries?" Peter asked as he punched a zombie through a wall.

"The very same," Barrett said as he resumed firing.

"What about Cait Sith?" Chris asked.

"Tch, you ain't that desperate, are ya?" Barrett asked.

"Hey, I like Cait Sith, he's really charming," Twilight said. "Same with Red XIII, he's nice."

"He's back at Cosmo Canyon, so he won't be coming either," Barrett said.

Leon gunned down some more zombies, "Personally, I'd settle for Shadow showing up. We could use his speed."

Peter used his webs to fling a zombie against a wall, splattering it and leaving him slightly disgusted. "I'm with you on Shadow there, Leon. Out of all the Mobians, he's definitely the best fit."

"Does he count as a Mobian?" Natasha asked as she fired away with her SMGs. "He was technically created on ARK."

"Same basic idea," Peter said. "Plus, who knows? Maybe we'll see one of those rare smiles."

"Shadow smiles?" Remy said in an almost joking tone.

"Let's not worry about what we don't got, it'll distract us," Barrett said. "Anyway, we got plenty of power here, especially from a certain Princess."

"Got that right," Twilight readied some magic and blasted a horde of zombies, leaving more of a bloody mess on the ground.

"Ugh...that ain't pretty," Applejack said while trying not to vomit.

"That certainly isn't very friendly," Claire joked.

"Of course it's friendly," Twilight said. "My powers keeps my friends alive."

"Can't argue with that logic," Carlos said, then heard the sound of more enemies. "There's a lot of monsters."

"There might be a whole stockpile of B.O.W.s," Chris said. "We should neutralize them."

"We're not just here to kill monsters though," Jill said. "We need to see who's behind this shipment of them, and get a list of potential buyers."

"Let's split up," Leon said. "Half of us can neutralize the enemy, the other half can get the buyer info."

"Good plan," Chis said. "While we're at it, let's keep an eye out for Wesker, or any of his allies."

"Will do," Leon said. "I can take a squad to do the recon."

"Alright, go with my sister, Natasha and Clint," Chris said. "You four work really well together."

"Got that right," Clint said as he pulled a still usable arrow out of a zombie.

"Bruce, mind coming with me as well?" Leon said.

"Whatever you need," Bruce said as he reloaded his gun.

"If you need help finding something discreet, then I'm your man," Remy said. "Me and Applejack, we with you Leon."

"I should go with Leon as well," Chun-Li said.

"Okay, that means the rest of you go with Chris and Jill," Leon said. "That means Daisy, Rebecca, Carlos, Barrett, Twilight and Spider-Man."

"Fine by me," Carlos said as he aimed his assault rifle. "I still got plenty of fire power to use on those ugly ass monsters."

"Nothing we can't handle," Peter said, then turned to the group's medic. "Right Rebecca?"

"Huh?" Rebecca took notice of Peter, the girl immediately nodding her head. "Uh, right."

"You alright, Rebecca?" Peter asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Rebecca insisted.

"Do you want to go with Leon instead?" Chris asked.

"I said I'm fine, I can handle monsters," Rebecca said. "Not to be rude, but I've technically dealt with this stuff the longest."

Chris knew what Rebecca was alluding to, that of course being the Ecliptic Express. He had no idea when he first met her just what Rebecca had gone through.

"Alright, if you can handle it, then let's go," Chris said.

"Natasha, you have the building plans," Leon said. "Do you know where we need to go?"

"I'll do my best to guide you," Natasha said. "I can't pinpoint the exact location we need to go to, but I have an idea of where this room might be."

"Better than nothing," Leon said. "Let's get a move on."

Leon left with his squad while Chris checked his own copy of Natasha's map, looking for the ideal location to cease production of the B.O.W.s.

"There may be a room further south of here," Chris said as he gestured ahead. "Keep your guns out, and be ready to fight. You never know what freaks will pop out and surprise you."

"You don't have to tell me twice," Carlos said as he double checked his gun to make sure it was loaded. "Come on."

As everyone walked along, Rebecca stood closer to the back, the girl feeling a bit anxious.

"Rebecca..." Peter got the girl's attention. "Hey, are you doing alright."

"Yes, I'm fine..." Rebecca said, the girl getting slightly irritated. "Why does everyone keep asking me that?"

"We're just worried," Peter said. "It's been a while since you had to do something like this, we weren't sure if you were feeling rusty or not."

"I can handle it," Rebecca insisted. "You don't need to worry about me. I know I'm not as active, and I don't usually get big jobs, but I still keep up my training. I help Chris a lot at the B.S.A.A. I even went to Africa after the Outbreak to handle any strays. This isn't anything that I can't handle."

"...You don't feel like you have anything to prove, do you?" Peter asked.

"There's always something to prove," Rebecca said. "You do it every day as a superhero. I just don't want anyone to feel like they need to protect me."

"People protect you because they care. They're your friends," Peter said. "If you were worried about any of your friends, wouldn't you constantly look out for them?"

"...You are way too good at the talking thing sometimes," Rebecca said. "I do like that about you, I've always found your kindness very charming."

"I get that sometimes," Peter said.

"Peter, Rebecca, don't fall behind," Chris called.

"We're with you!" Peter said as he led the girl, everyone currently unaware of the working video cameras hidden well in the dark.

Meanwhile in his office, Albert Wesker was seen keeping an eye on everyone through the security cameras as they appeared on his monitors.

"So, you've accepted the bait and willingly walked into my trap," All Might said. "Peter, Chris, I expected better from the two of you. Seems as though neither of you will live long enough to see my new world. Then again...underestimating you could prove foolish. I would rather avoid such humiliation."

"Hey boss..." Juri Han said as she walked into the room. "Monologuing to yourself again? Did I ever tell you that's kind of weird?"

"Juri..." Wesker warned.

"I'm just joking, I get that's part of the whole supervillain thing," Juri said. "You really nail that to a tee, and you do it so much beter than Seth does. He was a bit of a wannabe compared to you."

"You know better than to offer me baseless flattery," Wesker said.

"What I can't say something nice about my favorite boss?" Juri asked. "Things are going well for us right now. We got All for One's team on our side. Yeah Shigaraki is kind of lame but he has some use, doesn't he?"

"All for One's resources are merely a steppingstone in the grand scheme of things," Wesker said. "In the end, I merely with to mold this world into my image."

"And this grimy old warehouse is supposed to help?" Juri asked. "Like, do you have something here that will destroy those goody two-shoe heroes?"

"Not something, but perhaps someone," Wesker said.

"Who else is here?" Juri asked. "Sephiroth?"

"He may arrive, but he is not whom I am referring to," Wesker said.

"Did you finally get ties to the Red Ribbon Army?" Juri asked. "Honestly, that wouldn't be too hard, they're run by losers."

"There is a scientist there that I am quite familiar with, but she is not who I am expecting either," Wesker said.

"Speaking of scientists, are you really going to work with Doctor Wily?" Juri asked. "Because if I'm being honest-"

"Juri, do me a favor, and stop asking me pointless questions," Wesker said, the man nearly losing his patience. "Think of it as a surprise, I promise you will be happy with my choice."

"If you say so," Juri said. "But also, what about that girl with those funny little robots, are you-?"

"Juri!" Wesker shouted. "Do you enjoy irritating me?"

"A little," Juri admitted, earning a confused reaction from Wesker.

"Sometimes I wonder why I have you under my employ," Wesker said.

"Because you know you can't live without me," Juri taunted as she left.

Wesker shook his head in annoyance, "I really should get rid of her, but unfortunately she has too many uses for me." Wesker readjusted his sunglasses, "Besides, she is entertaining in her own right. But, she does raise a few good points, I should reconsider whom I align myself with."

Meanwhile in another room, Leon and the others maneuvered through the building, carefully keeping an eye on everything and making sure nothing jumped out to get them.

"Ah really hate this place," Applejack said as she held a pipe close to her.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine," Leon said. Suddenly he heard a noise and got everyone to stop. "Listen..."

Within the dark hallway up ahead, they could hear the sound of something running, something with claws in a fast tic-tac like notion.

"Zombie dogs!" Clint shouted as he readied his arrow. The moment the first one leapt up, Clint fired and hit the zombie dog between the eyes, causing it to fall over dead.

"Nice shot!" Bruce complimented.

Another one leapt in, to which Applejack ran over and whacked it with her pipe, sending it flying.

"Ah feel kind of bad fer hurting a dog like that," Applejack said.

"It's already infected, better to put it out of its misery," Leon said.

"Check it out, there's a room up ahead," Remy said.

The group snuck over and listened outside the room. They could hear some chatter inside.

"There's people in there?" Chun-Li asked.

"Sounds like it," Leon said. "Come on."

Within moments, Leon barged in with his teammates. "We're allies with the B.S.A.A., nobody move!"

The men immediately opened fire, to which Leon and Clint fired a gunshot and arrow each to bring them both down.

Chun-Li checked over the men, noting their uniforms and name tags, "They're with S.I.N."

"Wesker's men then," Leon noted. "Figured as much."

Bruce opened some drawers, "Think there's anything in here?"

"I don't see much," Claire said as she checked some file cabinets.

Natasha looked around and found some papers, "Everyone listen to this." She cleared her throat as everyone gathered around. "Incoming shipment of T-Virus, fresh from S.I.N. labs. It says they arrived just yesterday. Tomorrow, they're expecting a shipment of Nomu creatures."

"Nomu?" Remy asked. "Damn, those are the creatures created by Al for One."

"Also incoming, potential duplicate bodies for Bison," Natasha said. "Apparently they're low priority."

"Something tells me Wesker doesn't care about Bison's backups," Chun-Li said. "He never seemed to think highly of Shadaloo."

"Weird that he bought the company that's supposed to supply them with stuff then," Bruce said.

"He just wanted a front," Chun-Li said. "Anyway, what else is there Natasha?"

"It says that he was researching the C-Virus and the different effects that it's had on people," Natasha said. "As well as the J'avo. I don't know if this means he wants to unleash them again."

"Kind of strange considering he was barely involved with those outbreaks," Leon said. "That was all Simmons."

"Wesker could have been pulling the strings," Natasha said. "Especially considering that his son was involved."

"I don't think Jake's plans were affiliated with anything Wesker had in mind," Clint said.

"Can you be so sure?" Natasha asked.

"Hey, Sherry trusts him," Clint said.

"Sherry's too innocent at times," Natasha said.

Clint lifted his sunglasses in disbelief, "Are we talking about the same Sherry who survived Raccoon City at age twelve, witnessing the damn horrors that came with it!? The same Sherry that handled that freakishly large monster too?"

"You meant he Ustank?" Leon asked.

"Yeah, that thing was basically Mr. X on another level," Clint said. "Even Jill's files on Nemesis doesn't compare to Ustank crossing continents to get to his goal. I remember how hard that was too! I was with Sherry and Jake!"

"I saw the monster too, as did Leon and Helena," Natasha said. "And look, I don't want to doubt Sherry, but she's still pretty young at this."

"There's heroes younger than her making tough choices," Claire said.

"Come on guys, this ain't something to argue over," Bruce said. "The fact is that Wesker has those viruses at his disposal. He's planning something big again, and we gotta be ready for it."

"Bruce is right," Remy said. "Natasha, does that paper say anything else?"

"There's a room number where the supplies are supposedly being kept," Natasha said. "It's somewhere in the basement, let's hurry."

"Right...hopefully we can sneak through just fine," Bruce said.

"We can handle it, let's go," Natasha said.

Before they left, Leon looked over the map he had, "Think I should have called Solid Snake? He's good with stealth."

"Please, I outclass Snake in every way," Natasha said.

"Whoa...someone's high on herself," Clint teased.

Elsewhere, Chris and his team are laying out several monsters across the bottom floor as they searched for the load of B.O.W.s.

"Yeah! Take this!" Barrett shouted as he laid out the monsters. "Man, between Umbrella and Shinra, these multimillion dollar companies produced such weak and ugly monsters, ready to get their asses handed to them!"

"Try not to get too cocky," Chris said as he fired. "One bite, and it's over."

As Peter webbed a few monsters, he heard a call on his radio. "Who could that be?"

"It might be Leon," Jill said as she fired. "Better hurry and answer it."

He took a moment to answer. "Yeah?"

"Hi Peter, it's me, Rouge," the bat girl said.

"Rouge?" Peter asked.

"I heard that you went after a B.O.W. filled place," Rouge said. "Topaz said she was worried about what could possibly be there, so she asked me to call you. She was planning a G.U.N. Raid."

"G.U.N. wants to help?" Peter asked.

"Of course, we've helped before," Rouge said. "Remember Europe? Oh wait, you weren't there for that one. Leon was, is he nearby?"

"He's doing his own thing," Peter said. "I think that-"

"Peter, let me," Chris took the radio. "Rouge?"

"Hey Chris, still muscular?" Rouge asked.

"Don't get cute," Chris said. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be on Mobius?"

"I travel, I do have some obligations to Earth, especially Shadow," Rouge said.

"Well if you want to help, that's fine," Chris said. "But let's be smart about this."

"Of course, I wouldn't want it any other way," Rouge said.

"Right now we're trying to find the plans that Wesker's using, we're acting as a distraction for the moment while Leon does what he needs to do," Chris said. "If too many people show up, Wesker may get spooked and leave. Be on standby."

"Sure thing," Rouge said.

"If you happen to run into Cloud for any reason, tell him to be weary as well," Chris said. "I know he wanted to come by since Sephiroth is rumored to be here."

"Oooh, sounds fun," Rouge said.

"It's not a game!" Chris said. "Remember, Wesker is very dangerous."

"Chris honey, I help fight a mad scientist, and I've run into evil wizards, dark gods, and evil rubies, that last one was especially heartbreaking," Rouge said. "I can handle someone like Wesker, or even his nutty little friend. It's nothing me, Shadow and Omega couldn't handle."

"I hope so, Chris out," the man returned the radio to Peter.

"Hey, more allies is good," Peter said. "Plus, Leon did say earlier that he'd like to have Shadow on the squad. So he may get his wish"

"So long as he nor any of his buddies at G.U.N. don't screw anything up," Chris said. "Honestly, I never trusted Rouge much."

"Leon trusts her," Twilight said.

"Leon trusts any pretty face," Chris said. "Don't get me wrong, he's a good soldier, but girls like Rouge and Ada Wong get him all freaked out."

"Harsh dude," Peter said, then noticed something else coming. "Uh...is that a leech?"

"Leech!?" Rebecca took notice of the monstrous creatures as they began forming a human body. "Oh no! Not this again!"

"Open fire!" Chris ordered as he and his friends began firing at the leeches. Unfortunately more began to come and take more forms.

"Oh man, this is just nasty!" Barrett said as he fired.

"Quick! Take them out!" Carlos ordered as he shot the leeches.

Rebecca fired as well, the girl panicking and tripping.

"Rebecca!" Peter lifted the girl up and away while his teammates continued firing.

Twilight generated some magic and blasted all of the leeches, with a few strays remaining as they attempted to swarm the princess.

"Twilight!" Jill fired at a few, though one leapt at Twilight's head.

Fortunately Peter zipped in and grabbed it with his hands before completely squishing it.

"Stupid little blood sucker," Peter turned to his wife. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, thank you," Twilight said.

"Great reflexes Spidey," Barrett said. "A good man watches out for his wife."

"Thanks Barrett," Peter said. "And thank you for being awesome with your gun arm."

"Heh, it ain't nothing," Barrett said.

"Man, leeches..." Carlos said. "They suck."

"...Pun intended?" Peter asked.

"Very intended," Carlos said, then shared a laugh with Peter.

"Peter, it's been years, you still don't want your own gun?" Carlos asked.

"He doesn't need one, he's strong without it," Jill said.

"Well, Shadow used a gun, and I think even Superman has too," Twilight said. "A space gun, but still."

"I'm good," Peter said. "Granted, part of me would love to dual wield. It would be so badass."

"Dual wield, huh?" Carlos said.

"Like Lara Croft or something?" Jill teased.

"Well, I was thinking more that police officer from Grant City," Peter said. "Of course, there's a lot of dual wielders."

"Yeah...like Dante," Chris said.

"I wonder how he's doing?" Twilight said.

"Who knows?" Chris replied as he reloaded. "Anyway, let's keep moving."

"Go on, I gotta check on something," Peter turned his attention back to a worried Rebecca.

Chris knew something was up, so he opted to let Peter and Rebecca have their privacy for the moment.

"Hey," Peter said. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine..." Rebecca said. "Sorry, I guess I freaked out, huh?"

"Don't worry about it," Peter said.

"Peter, it is something to worry about," Rebecca said. "I don't want to slow everyone down."

"Rebecca, I know this is dangerous, and kind of scary," Peter said. "But you got this...You've handled it before."

"Before I feel like I had someone always looking after me," Rebecca said. "Be it Chris, Richard...or Billy."

Peter looked around before focusing back on Rebecca, "You mean that former convict, right?"

"Yeah..." Rebecca said. "Well he really wasn't all that bad."

"I know," Peter said.

"I'll be better, at least I'll try to be," Rebecca said. "I'm not that rookie I used to be, I have to pull my weight."

"Just work with us, we got your back," Peter said. "Now, let's go."

"Okay..." Rebecca said, the girl remembering her friend from years past.

It was back in Raccoon City, several years ago.

Rebecca had gotten herself into a bad situation. While trying to restore power to the facility, she was attacked by a zombified monkey known as an Eliminator, one personally sent by the mysterious man in the white robe.

As a result, she felt into a pit, but quicky grabbed onto the edge. Her grip was not firm, and she was slipping. Things were not looking well for the young S.T.A.R.S. member.

It was a race against the clock for Billy, as he had to figure out where it was Rebecca fell and reach her before she completely lost her grip.

Billy traveled through the facility, actively trying to avoid any zombies he ran past, deeming them low priority enemies.

He had bigger trouble when he reached the secret room below the facility, and encountered some eliminator monkeys himself.

"I don't have time for this!" Billy pulled out a shotgun he found in a wine room earlier and blasted the first monkey in the face. The second leapt at him to attack, but Billy was quick to shoot it out of the air.

Deeming that done, he kept running, hoping his calculations were correct. Fortunately he reached the room where Rebecca was in time, just as the girl was losing her grip.

Before falling, Billy caught her by the wrist, "Rebecca!"

"Billy!" Rebecca called in surprise, grateful that help finally came.

"Hang on, I'll pull you up!" Billy said as he pulled Rebecca to safety.

While she was glad that Billy rescued her, part of Rebecca felt surprised. She wasn't fully sure if she could trust him. After all, he was responsible for the death of so many people, yet something about him didn't seem all that bad to Rebecca.

Once Rebecca was completely safe, she of course felt a desire to express her gratitude, "Thank you, Billy."

"It's nothing, I'm just keeping my word," Billy said. "After all, we did promise that we'd cooperate."

Unknown to the two, Sunset Shimmer was just outside the door, about to go inside, "This better lead to some type of exit, I hate running around in circles."

Inside, Rebecca heard her radio going off, the girl quick to answer it, "This is Rebecca, over!"

"Rebecca, this is Enrico," the man said, loud enough that Sunset could hear from the other side of the door. "Have you managed to locate Coen yet, over?"

Rebecca looked conflicted for a moment. She understands her duty as a cop, but wasn't sure if she had it in her to report the man who just rescued her.

Billy stood by, preparing for the worst while Sunset waited on the other side of the door, not saying or doing anything yet.

"Rebecca, answer me!" Enrico ordered.

"...No sir," Rebecca said, this taking Billy by surprise. "I'll continue to look for him, over."

Billy was amazed that Rebecca clearly lied to her superior officer. While he is pleased with this outcome, he still considered it too much of a long shot. "Rebecca..."

"My first mission, and I'm already disobeying orders," Rebecca said, then shrugged it off. "So much for my great law enforcement career. Not like I'll live long enough to worry about it, though."

"What's going on?" Sunset wondered. "It sounds like that girl and guy from before. One's a clearly a cop, but is the other a criminal or something?"

"Billy, I need to know. I really need to know the truth," Rebecca began. "Did you really kill twenty-three people? I won't judge you, but I need to know what happened."

"Uh...what?" Sunset worried.

"...It was around this time last year," Billy began. "Our platoon was sent to Africa to stop an internal conflict. Our assignment, raid a hideout of guerilla forces. The problem, we landed too far away from the assigned hideout. Some of our forces died from the heat, others due to enemy fire. In the end, only four of us survived by the time we reached our deal coordinates."

Sunset was taken by surprise given what she just heard, "Being a soldier is tough."

"So, it was four of you against those guerillas?" Rebecca asked.

" No, because there was no hideout," Billy confirmed. "The morons in charge had us operating on the wrong information. But apparently we couldn't go back empty handed, according to our so-called leader. He ordered us to attack an enemy village!"

Billy could vividly remember what happened, and the chilling words of his leader, and how he tried to stop him.

"Do it! Kill them all!"

"Please sir, cease fire immediately!"

"Shut up!"

The leader knocked Billy back as he and the other two soldiers opened fire on the civilians, despite Billy's protest. The last thing Billy remembered was the cold, chilling glare from his superior, the eyes of a man who lost his humanity.

"Billy..." Rebecca snapped him out of his thoughts. "Did you really execute those innocent people?"

"Doesn't matter, it was a long time ago," Billy said. "Besides, you said you wouldn't judge me."

"I'm not judging you, but it does matter!" Rebecca insisted. "My teammates think you killed those MPs in the van! I don't think you did though, they were killed by those zombie dogs! When they attacked the van, you were able to escape! Isn't that right!?"

"Sounds to me like this man was probably set up really badly," Sunset theorized.

"You don't get it," Billy said. "I only have two choices. Report to the marines and serve out my sentence, or keep on running for as long as I can. That's all."

Rebecca seemed disappointed by Billy's choice, but respected it nonetheless. "Well...at any rate, I'm glad you told me. And...I don't think you're dangerous."

"Don't be foolish," Billy scolded. "I'm a wanted man, you should be cautious."

"I know, but I trust my instincts here," Rebecca said.

"...No use talking about this," Billy said as he opened the door. "Besides we...huh?"

Sunset was seen on the other side, awkwardly waving at the former marine. "Uh...hi?"

"It's you," Rebecca walked over to Sunset. "You're that girl from the train."

"How though?" Billy asked. "You got knocked out of the window. You should be dead."

"Yeah, I should, but I'm not," Sunset said. "Uh, not that I'm a zombie, I swear I'm still human. I just got lucky, that's all."

"Well, I'm glad you're safe," Rebecca said. "How long were you standing out here?"

"Long enough to hear this poor guy's story," Rebecca said, gesturing to a now annoyed Billy. "Seriously, set up by your own teammates? This is why trusting people is so risky. Everyone back home always talks and praises friendship. The more I hear from the rest of the world, the more I feel some vindication in knowing that people really do suck."

"Glad you got something out of my story, even if you were eavesdropping," Billy said.

"Hey, that was an accident, I'm trying to look for an exit," Sunset said. "I need to find a way out of this stupid city."

"Well, why don't you come with us?" Rebecca asked.

"Sorry, but like I said, I'm not a fan of people," Sunset replied. "You two can have your little team-up, but I'm looking out for myself."

"Don't be absurd," Billy said. "You almost died earlier, and luck doesn't last. I get not trusting people, but in times like these, I think you need to put that nonsense aside."

"You have nothing to lose," Rebecca insisted.

"...Well, alright fine, I guess," Sunset said. "Just don't slow me down too much."

"Same to you," Billy said.

"So...how about a formal introduction," Rebecca said. "I'm Officer Rebecca Chambers of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. I specialize in medical practices. This is technically my first day on field duty."

"First day huh?" Sunset asked. "That must suck. You look young too. How old are you?"

"I'm eighteen," Rebecca confirmed.

"Eighteen? And already a cop?" Sunset asked. "Eh, I shouldn't be surprised, you could be a pro hero by this age. I should know, my rival is one, at least one in training."

"That sounds interesting," Rebecca said.

Sunset turned her attention to the former marine, "What about you big guy?"

"Billy Coen, former Lieutenant in the US Marine Corp," Billy said. "As you know I was dishonorably discharged following an attack on an innocent village. I have been sentenced to death and was set for execution before the outbreak."

"I'd hardly consider that fair," Sunset said. "You should get a lawyer."

"Don't worry about my problems," Billy said. "Anyway, we introduced ourselves. Mind telling us who you are?"

"I suppose I should," Sunset said. "My name is Sunset Shimmer, I'm a former protege to the Princess of Equestria. Right now, I'm traveling the world to see new sites. And, I gotta say, I'm not loving Raccoon City so far."

"It's usually not like this," Rebecca said.

"What caused this to happen?" Sunset asked.

"We don't know," Rebecca said. "It could be anything."

"I guess in a world like this, nothing's impossible," Sunset said. "I've heard of cities overrun by demons, so for all I know, this is a side effect of that."

"Come to think of it, I remember a man in a white gown of sorts," Rebecca said, thinking back to the train. "He was controlling some leeches."

"Ew, I remember seeing leeches, not too long ago I saw them come together and form a humanoid body," Sunset said.

"You saw that too?" Billy asked.

"Yeah, for some reason, when they do that, they seem to resemble James Marcus," Rebecca pointed out.

"James Marcus?" Sunset asked.

"One of Umbrella's founders," Rebecca explained. "It's weird though, he died quite some time ago."

"Something's not adding up," Sunset said.

"We can figure this out later, right now we need to keep moving, otherwise we're done for," Billy urged.

"Yeah, good point," Sunset said. "Alright, let's find a way out of this grimy old city."

Billy turned to Rebecca, "Can we trust her?"

"Sure, what can happen?" Rebecca asked.

Later.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?" Rebecca shouted at the sight of a giant bat near a Church. "God, if you're watching, and you should be since this is your house, SAVE US!"

"Just attack!" Billy said as he and Rebecca opened fire on the bat. Sunset did the same, generating some power and blasting it to bits.

"Oh...that wasn't so hard," Sunset said, much to the annoyance of Rebecca and Billy.

Even Sephiroth who observed from nearby, shook his head in annoyance, "What a bothersome woman."

A leech monster tried to attack him, but he sliced it down with ease.

"Hey, you get the feeling someone's watching you from a distance?" Sunset asked.

"Don't be paranoid," Billy said as everyone entered the Church.

Back in the present, Rebecca seemed to smile once more as she continued on. Sunset was wacky, but she was still a nice lady. Billy was stoic, but still very kind. Rebecca is grateful to have met them both.

Meanwhile Sunset was seen traveling with her half-demon friend Dante as the two walked through the warehouse, keeping an eye on the situation.

"Looks like Peter, Twilight and the B.S.A.A. people cleaned house here," Sunset said.

"Not surprised, Chris Redfield is one hell of a leader," Dante said.

"So...if you see you brother here...what will you do?" Sunset asked.

"Haven't decided yet..." Dante pulled out a locket that featured a family picture. "It'll come to me though...That I feel confident in."

Sunset worried for her friend, but trusted his judgement as the two of them continued through the warehouse, ready for just about anything.
